Fantasy Faereach City of Magicks (Now Accepting)

Sage sighed slightly , he want Pegasus to hold him but said nothing. He walked through the portal

Sarah gladly placed the books in the sadde bags at Mae's sides, sighing in relief once she did. "Thank you!" She told her, hugging her hoof seeing as she couldn't quite reach her neck. "Ready when you guys are." She told them, smiling happily.

Faereach City

Rex sighed in exhaustion as he slowly moved forward. Even the excitement of seeing civilization was not enough to fight of the weariness. Sure, he had plenty of sleep out on the water, but not enough nourishment. At this point, though, it was incredibly hard to concentrate. Arriving at the edge of town, Rex looked up in dreary amazement. "Woe!" He muttered, glad that he was no longer in the middle of no where. "Water,," he growled, dragging his feet through the street until he found a random puddle of water. In normal condition, he wouldn't touch the stuff, but now he crouched and drank from it greedily. Slightly satisfied, Rex stood and made his way towards an alley way, there he leaned against the wall to rest. Breathing heavily, he slid to the ground and crossed his legs, feeling too weary to stay awake any longer...

Malorn Drakanos

Malorn wasn't exactly sure who Melchios' father was, but if it warranted an angelic messenger he was probably someone important. He was also correct in assuming Malorn could sense his prescence, he was wondering what it was from and now he had a link. Thinking it over carefully he eventually did a sort of 'meh' shrug and stood before walking over to stand between them and Falin. "I suppose if the invitation extends to myself I'll go. I don't really have anything better to do seeing as the cafè I work at is still being repaired.." He replied, grimacing slightly at the thought of it. If he ever caught the people that destroyed that place, they'd wished they'd die in the fire if they hadn't.

He then turned to Falin, "
What about you, do you want to come with us? Its entirely up to you, if not I'll give you my spare key to the apartment and you can go and rest." He told her.

For the most part, Falin had elected to remain silent. She did, however, cast an irritated glance at the Kistune trying to pick on Malorn. Probably not the greatest idea given how tense the situation had become. The Bosmer only studied the strange man that interrupted for a brief moment. It seemed he knew Melchio and had been sent to deliver a message to the irritated Seraph. It seemed his father wished to meet. Meaning another god had entered Faereach. Magic or not, this city isn't going to be able to handle so man powerful beings inside its borders. But why are so many being drawn here? Especially ones like me...

She looked to the demon as he asked if she wished to tag along or not. "May as well if it helps making any more sense of things." Falin silently hoped this god wouldn't out her for what she really was. That would likely lead to nothing but trouble given the group she seemed to have attracted.

Illoi Kotori Illoi rested her forehead against Nade's, closing her eyes again after emitting a sigh of relief. "Why do you think I've been asking you over and over to explain yourself? I have the sense of familiarity but I don't remember you. Please...explain it to me." She muttered softly, bringing her hand up to lightly brush across the spot she had slapped earlier. She thought about her actions, sighing a bit.
"I'm sorry I hit you, Nade. I overreacted, so I apologize for that." She mumbles quietly, turning a light shade of pink. "It's been a rather eventful day for me and I snapped." She hummed quietly, opening her eyes and looking into his.

Nyr Frostbane While Falcon browsed the store, Nyr wandered around the front, looking at the different types of board games. Things like monopoly and Sorry didn't really have any significance to her, but she still browsed them. She smiled a bit when she came across a section of cards, and found a game called Magic: The Gathering. She almost thought it was ironic, but she didn't say anything. Instead, she combed her fingers through her hair before making her way back to Falcon.

"So...what exactly are we getting? I don't know what any of these things are." She pointed out, giggling and looping her hand around his arm a bit just to have some form of contact with him.

EDIT: My rat ran across the keyboard again
Wyatt said:
"Nice to meet you to, say who is your father." Ian was pretty surprised when Melchio took his hand in his own hand. He didn't know what to say, it was pretty unexpected. Ian barely knew who he was but he didn't bother to say anything.
"Okay, Sage go a head and go back, I will lead the others through the portal again." He shifted the weight of the books in to one arm somehow and used his scythe with the other opening a portal back to the game center.

$Nade Heidt$ "..." His own eyes seemed shattered, almost. They had an agelessness that told a thousand stories, and a wisdom behind them that neither matched his age or actions. He sighed, and averted his gaze, the faintest hint of pink in his cheeks. His sclera were tinged red, and the marks of runes still hadn't faded, having burned permanent, yet faint black lines in his iris's. The wetness on his cheeks still hadn't dried when he sighed, refusing to acknowledge the fact he relished the feeling of Illoi's presence so close to his again.

"I can't say that today hasn't been stressful for me too. But... everyday's stressful now." A long sigh left him, lines and shadows of a tiredness thousands of years in the making stretching across his face. "Everyday gets a little harder to live through. Every morning gets a little longer- the nights a little shorter. It gets harder and harder to get up in the morning, to put up this... false facade of a happy-go-lucky bastard with no morals whatsoever. But its always been hard. I think, at least." He shuddered. "I don't remember the last time I wasn't crying inside. You already know what kind of childhood I had. But you don't know what I live with every day- what I have rotting inside me as we speak." He was shattering. Inside, he had time. Illoi, had freedom.

"Your best days will be some of my worst, Illoi. There are nights I hope I don't meet you, because I know I won't live happily with you. I hope that you can find someone who'll put you first. But... Never." He was doing it again. Evading the question. He shuddered again, unable to keep his eyes open without breaking down. He was so physically uncomfortable with this- explaining himself- that on the outside, it looked like he was being stabbed with a 2x4.

"I am a Blessed Human, the son of a Seraph- my father was a priest. All Blessed Humans are born with a blessed part of our body- blessed strength, a blessed mind... me, I was born with blessed eyes." Opening said eyes, the runes glowed faintly, as he finally met Illoi's. "More specifically, blessed perception. I'm able to perceive everything that can be perceived with one's eyes. I can see the entire spectrum of light- I see colours that no other being can see at one time. I can see heat signatures, people's Auras, even wavelengths of radiation." He shook his head, a headache coming on from the incoming information.

"It's a curse. A damned, worthless curse..." He whispered this to himself, but with so little space between them, everything said could be heard. There were no secrets- only confessions. "But... my eyes aren't the only piece of the puzzle here. There... there's something else. Someone else. Someone who's always been here, will always be here. Who can't be killed, but can kill." Tears flowed again, a knife to the chest. "I call them, the Narrator. They're above the consequences of their actions, and can do everything imaginable. They can torture, kill, rape, anything. They can destroy everything. Build everything. That feeling, that drive to do anything? That's them. Protect? Them. Kill? The Narrator. Eat, drink, even hold your breath?" A shaking sigh exited him. "That's the Narrator.

"They loves a good story, and this one? The life we're living? This is one of their favourites. I-I should know, I'm their favourite pawn. They love this story so much that they created Gods, Goddesses, Heroes, Villains, Humans, Angels, Demons, ...everything and everyone. But, there was something they didn't count on- their creation's interactions. Their greatest villain was... too great. This villain had the power to eradicate everything- even the story that the Narrator had worked so hard to write." His hand twitched, like it was going to try something, but it refused.

"Knowing this, they knew they had to undo what they did. They needed to be God, both in this world and out of it. They needed ultimate control. The only thing they needed was the right vessel to do the job. They didn't need to be strong. Unique. Anything more than sentient, really. They only needed one thing: something above determination to change the world. They needed a drive even stronger than that." Talking hadn't become any easier with time. It'd only become harder. "And knowing what they knew about this story, they knew the perfect being for the job. A God wouldn't make sense. Neither would a beast. Only the sons of Gods would do." He pointed a finger at himself, a wry, hurt smile growing across his face.

"Me. The son of Man. The son of Gods. Just a regular ol' Blessed Human. It wouldn't matter if I was the son of a Seraph or not. Because... Greed- the greatest drive of all- above love, above determination, above all- that lust for power? That's when one's closest to the Narrator. And with the greatest lust for Greed there is, I am his perfect vessel." He bowed his head, either in shame or guilt or sadness or something else. It was impossible to tell.

"With all the components for change in place, he only needed the final component: his own drive to see this story go on forever. With that kind of drive, he had the power to not only change worlds, to change realms...

"He had the power to change time itself." Nade Heidt locked eyes with Illoi Kotori, a solemn look in his eyes.

"Illoi... the reason I know you, the reason I know Malorn, Falin, Veyd the Overseer Dragon, Kandra Bal Magna, Nyr Frostbane- everyone, it's very simple." His hand clenched at his side, and attempted to go for his gun. But... again... it refused.

"I- whenever I look in a reflective surface, any reflective surface at all- anything that would let me see myself for what I really am- I see... something else. I... I see time." He whispered this secret, his black heart cracking just a tad, the smallest bit of himself leaking out. "With these eyes, I can see everything, even time itself. I can see into different timelines, into the Void Between Timelines, into everything. And every time I die... the timeline's reset back to a better time. Nobody'd even know- only I'd remember what happened before. My conscious is immeasurably old. I think." Even now, when he looked into Illoi's eyes, them being so close to him, he didn't see their chocolaty warmth- he saw thousands, no, millions of blue lines with bubbles of a similar blue running along them, all of them a different distance from him than the others, and all changing and altering and moving. Thin black lines were there as well. He watched himself being born, himself falling in love, himself dying peacefully in his sleep.

Then he watched himself kill his mother, hunt down his father, destroy everything he loved. He watched himself meet those old friends and slaughter them, and he even saw himself kill people's Gods.

He watched himself die a million times more. He watched himself throw himself off a cliff. He watched himself be ripped apart by bullets, be burnt alive, blown apart by black energy, frozen by black ice, electrocuted with lightning, stabbed repeated times. He watched strangers kill him. Enemies. Friends. Even the ones he loved. He watched himself be stillborn. Not be born at all.

All the while, a steady, unstoppable stream of tears ran down his face, his voice no more.

Illoi Kotori Illoi sat there, letting his words sink in. She frowned a bit, feeling a familiar stinging sensation along her eyelids that eventually swelled into tears. She closed her eyes, swiping the back of her hand across them, wiping the tears away quickly. She exhaled, pressing her forehead to his once more and shaking her head just a little bit. She didn't know what to make of it all. She believed him, of course, but she couldn't find the words to offer any sort of comfort. Perhaps...

"Nade, I'll be the first to inform you that this time around, I have absolutely no interest in anyone. Not a single person. I've had...plenty of opportunities, to find someone who would put me first. Unfortunately, I just didn't...feel it. I...I don't know how to respond to the different timelines. I don't doubt you, I just don't know what to do with that information. I can't...I don't...I don't want to see you die again. I know that much. I don't think I could bear to see that again. If my dreams are any semblance of how it feels..." She trailed off, sitting up straight and pressing the back of her hand to her forehead. She shakes her head, sighing a bit.

"I know it can't be stopped. I know I can't change the path of time with all my magic or all of Nyr's magic. I just don't want to be around to see it happen again." She whispered quietly, unable to meet his gaze once more.

Faereach City

Rex opened his eyes, unable to sleep but still feeling drowsy. The alley hadn't changed, of course, so he got up and looked around. For a moment, he panicked, not sure how he got in that specific alley. Only when his recent memories return did he sigh in relief, though he still didn't know how he got to the city. Rubbing his forehead carefully, he made his way out onto the street, deciding to go searching for food...

@Anyone
Hitsugya had lied to Ferra, something he hated doing. Instead of going to the gym he went for a walk out in the streets of Faereach to clear his godamn mind. As he walked through the empty streets a flashback came into his mind and before he knew it he was reliving the memory.

The memory was of him when he was younger, 14, and he'd just gotten back to school after his 3 month suspension. No one even looked at him, not a single word escaped his lips as they all shouted at him and swore. His eyes were still their usual amber but they were empty now, nothing resided in them and he didn't even care any more. At that point he was nobody, literally. His family wasn't his actual family, they were actually the wretched people who had supposedly became his family. Hell! He didn't even have last name! He had to make up a last name just so he no one would think any less of him. It was a pain and he didn't care, as did everyone else. "The fuck are you doing here?! Go home! Oh wait that's right, you don't have one!! You're all alone" is what they shouted, their teeth gritted, fists clenched and threatening to punch him but they never did. One of the teachers just gave him a cold hard stare, delibrately giving him a failing grade so he wouldn't be in their class.

Remembering this made him realize how lonely he is, or was. He's still got his friends but he felt as though he never would fit in. If they ever found out what he truly was, what his true ability is. . . . .They'd never forgive him. Turning down a street to go to a cafe he noticed somebody there. Least he could do was be nice. Hitsugya walked over to the guy, hands still in their pockets, "Hey"

Sarah frowned, "Oh.." She replied sadly. "Oh! Oh! Maybe..maybe we can get more healers? Then..maybe it'll stay fixed forever?" She asked him, suddenly excited by the idea. It seemed as good as any to her! Maybe it would work? It almost worked with just Sage after all.

Rex was still trying to pull his mind together as he moved towards the down town district, the nearest place he could use to gather his bearing. Before going too far, he paused, hearing somebody talk to him. Turning around quickly, Rex grabbed Hitsugya by the collar with a firm hand and growled "Water! Now!" His eyes were wide, not with anger, but with desperation. Of course, of what little there was to character, his thoughts had been reduced by starvation. Even now he had no idea where he was, and a million other questions, but non of them mattered at the moment. He would ask questions later, first take care of the basics. Even now, he had not seemed to notice the wings on the back of this strange man.

(His wings are underneath of his black shirt in the form of a tattoo :P )

Hitsugya was taken aback by the suddenness of this random guy. He'd seen those eyes before, almost a look of feral or insane. "Woah! There's a cafe nearby, here" said Hitsugya, unfazed by the mans desperation. Walking to the entrance he held the door open for the man.

Rex narrowed his eye, giving Hitsu a cold stare. Only after a moment did he slowly let go, This all seemed too good to be true, there had to be something going on behind the scenes. At the same time, it was too risky to let such an opportunity go, and so Rex followed the man quietly towards the cafe "I only got a dollar!" he explained briefly "I'm not asking for much, atleast water. I've been traveling for a long time,,," Rex grit his teeth, not sure why or where he had been traveling. "I'm not out for trouble!" He stepped into the cafe and looked around, feeling suddenly out of place with his wild untidy look. "The boat was too small,," He rambled, losing his train of thought "I had drinks, but they're all empty. Everything else is soaked, yet it hasn't rained in days! I'm not sure why, but I think Dragons are part of it, there's no other way.."

As soon as they were through the portal Sarah gasped in shock and ran to Sages' side and hugged him tightly. "Sage! Are you okay? What's wrong!" She shouted frantically, concern evident in her voice. She half wanted to blame Pegasus for this, but she felt it was also her fault for suggesting he try to heal an entire realm in the first place.

Pegasus snapped his figures and many servants came to help them. "Take care of this young lad, Sarah if you promise to continue to help me I will restore his soul. I know this might not help you now, but he will no longer be under my control."

"He is exhausted, he used up most of his magic healing the realm." Mae said. A little snack cake popped out of thin air in front of Mae. "Eat this it will assist in your recovery, that is all i can do; I do not know healing magic." She said, dropping the books on a nearby table. "If that is all for now, I must leave you all. I will be watching." she said glaring at Pegasus. She changed into a falcon, and busted out the window.

Sarah moved out of the way of the people that came to help Sage, much to Squeaks' happiness seeing as he was being slightly crushed, after hugging Sage one more time. She then turned to Pegasus and nodded vigourously in response to his question, "I promise! Of course I will! This seems kinda cool anyway, plus its kinda sad what happened to you and your people after all." She replied.

She then turned to Mae when she explained what happened and tried to help Sage. Though before she could reply or thank her she left. She then turned back to Sage with a worried expression on her face, she wasn't used to seeing Sage like this at all. After all, he was stronger than anyone she knew except for Allison(and probably stronger than her to if he tried).

Pegasus summon Sage's soul card from the book and in a second his image faded. Sage's soul was free. "Thank you Sarah, you are a great person to have around. My people will lead you to a room for now, feel free to explore the building but don't go to floor 2 below. I have a surprise there." He then went to the elevator and press the button to go the said floor.

Hitsugya sighed too himself, rubbing his temples "What are you talking about?" he asked with an exasperated sigh. Walking up to the till he got a bottle of water for the guy, tossing it over to him and not caring if he caught it or not.

Rex caught the bottle quickly, like it was the most valuable object in the world. "It all spirals towards the explosion!" he exclaimed, then raised the bottle to his lips and downed all the water at once. When every last drop had emptied the container, he tossed it disdainfully aside and sat down on a random chair, ignoring the glare from the stranger at the other side of the table. "Now that I think about it, nothing makes sense,," He smirked with a dark sense of humor "It's just like a bucket of puzzle pieces, not sure which goes first or even belongs there.." He leaned back and propped his feat up on the table, prompting the indignant stranger to get up and leave. "But now that I,,," Rex trailed off, it was at this time that he really began to pull himself back into reality "Who the hell are you?" He demanded, turning his head towards Hitsu "Why did you approach me? Why did you help me?"

"You were walking around like a zoned out mummy and I'm not the kind of guy that just leaves people when there's something wrong with them. And what the hell are you talking about?!!" demanded Hitsugya, countering the mans nonsense. This guy must've been through one hell of a time if what he said is true, that is.

Sarah cheered happily when he released Sage. "Thank you!" She told him happily, running up and hugging him. What she'd said was true, she had no intention of not helping him even if he really had nothing to force her. "I just thought of something...did you ever tell me your name?" She asked him, looking up at him with a confused expression.
