Nyr Frostbane Nyr offers a sad smile, taking his hand again. "Like I said, Falcon, I don't want to leave your side. Even if I did find a way home, I wouldn't take it. Not unless I could find a way to bring you with me. There are the Wildlings the feral people that aren't cultured, but ah...I suppose that's a distant dream." She gives a soft sigh before looking around. She was full, and ready to either go back to their home or wander the streets.
"I'm ready to go whenever you are. Also, your home sounds lovely. I just don't think I could handle being in the walls all the time." She giggled softly, giving him one of her signature smiles before giving his hand a gentle squeeze. She thought about her home once more, and was struck with a pang of loneliness. She had been cast out of that realm, for whatever reason, and now she was here. She didn't know why she was here, she just knew that she was here.

Illoi Kotori Illoi just stared at him for a moment before shaking her head. "You want me to drop it? Fine. I'll drop it. You think things can't change, so fine. Always the same damn thing with you." She snapped, crossing her arms and leaning back on the couch. Her anger had reignited, and she was glaring at him again.

"Hello. My name is Illoi Kotori, daughter of a blacksmith, also a fire shaman. Not that it matters. My best friend is the queen of a vast tribe, destined to one day bring complete freedom and union to the tribes that inhabit my homeland yet we are stuck in this forsaken hellhole with no hopes of ever going home. My people will be wiped out in a war, and me and Nyr will be here living instead of protecting our people. I was destined to wed the chief of one of our rival tribes, as a union, but I am here instead. That is the event that sparks the downfall of my people, so I'm sure my day couldn't get any worse." And then, for some reason, Illoi lashes out and slaps Heidt across the face, getting to her feet and glaring down at him for a moment before storming out of the room. She needed to breathe and calm her temper before the next round, or she was going to do some serious injury. Not just to her opponents, either.

Falcon Witzchev "Mmm. I knew you'd say that about it. I was fine with the walls, personally, but then again, I was raised within them." He waved the waiter over, signalling that he was ready for his check. He looked back to Nyr, a serious expression on his face once again. "Listen Nyr, I know what I said earlier- and it still stands- but as you said, you have a lot of people that need you back at your home, so if the chance for you to ever go home ever arises, I want you to take it, okay? Don't worry about me-" He smiled feebly, inside dreading the thought of her leaving him behind. "If you leave me for a greater purpose, then I'd understand, and let you go, okay?"

By then, the waiter had returned with his checkbook. Paying in cash as usual, Falcon stood, taking Nyr's hand with him. "Still, that's a little ways away, I hope. That you'll have to go home, I mean. Anyways, I have a couple things I want to buy before we head home. ...Heh, I'll be honest..." He scratched the back of his head with his free hand. "I never thought I'd ever say those words like that. A-anyways, is that okay with you? I just figured- we could use something to entertain ourselves while one or the other is busy." He cast an inquisitive glance her way, almost as if he were asking permission.

Nade Heidt Having not seen the slap coming, he fell down on his bum, his hand reaching up to the burning cheek in question, a confused look on his face. Sure, he'd known all this before- he'd had to solve those issues with Illoi and Nyr before, but this was the first time he heard her say it like... like he would say it. Suffice to say, it didn't give him any solace. Was that really how pitiful he sounded?

"...Pfft. Whatever. She can be a bitch if she wants to..." He muttered, getting to his feet, hand still absentmindedly rubbing his cheek, his face hard, though his eyes brimmed with hurt. Sure, he'd been flipped, punched, cut in half, burned alive, and shot, but slapped? By Illoi, no less? Well... that was a first. "Tch... I need some liquor..." He muttered, grabbing a glass, and tipping some of the cooling ice from the mini-fridge into his glass, before pouring the wine. He didn't stop at a fourth, or half-way. He filled it up until the ice could spill over the edge, if it so wanted. Then he drank. He downed it all quickly enough- a skill he'd harnessed over a hundred million years, and the slight buzz that came with it helped to dull the pain, just a bit. Slumping into the couch behind him, he lit a tiny, white cancer stick, and slipped into his mouth, the hot, yet calming smoke filling his lungs. The white-grey cloud that left his nose helped to ease his nerves and, like the liquor, dull his pain.

Then he made the mistake of looking into the bottom of his wine glass, where the tiniest bit of reflective wine remained. Even when it was deep red, it appeared all reflective surfaces did the same thing to him. He tried his best to peel his eyes away from the bottom of the glass, but his gaze was locked on the bottom, and the runes in his eyes burned so bright that they dyed the whole room a light gold colour. His expression became pained, and he tried to wrench his sight away, but found he could not, as evidenced by the strain in his neck. The one time in his life he needed help, and he'd driven away the only people that could. By now, the light could even be seen outside the door, and the room had new shadows that danced and came to life under the flashing, golden light from his eyes- which now could not be seen the light was so bright.

Melchio Legatus "Tch... you aren't my dad..." Melchio muttered lowly, eyes averted and unable to meet Vix's disappointed gaze. This was the only time he'd ever felt even a shred of guilt for his actions, for he was used to disguising his actions under the guise of duty. The older man chuckled, at Malorn's comment of him being an old man, neither agreeing nor disagreeing with his statement. It wasn't his place to correct an all-powerful demon like him. He was only a messenger. Handing Melchio a small scroll of parchment, he slipped past him, and jogged away.

"What...? Hey, wait-!" But by then, he'd already disappeared, as if the light had bent about him, and left not even a scrap of paper in his place. Speaking of paper, he glanced at the one he'd been handed, and unfurled it. He was quickly glad he could read longitude and latitude lines, though he wished that, if his father wanted to talk, he'd just come and spoken to him personally. Sighing, he rolled the paper back up, and slipped it into his back pocket. He lifted his gaze slowly, glancing between Ian, Vix, and Malorn, before letting his eyes settle on the Demon. He might actually be handsome, if it weren't for the fact he was DEMONIC, and possibly millions of years old. Still, when he addressed him, there was a tone of respect to it that wasn't there when he was fighting.

"...Malorn. I'm going to go see my father now. You can come, if you wish, but I figure you have better things to do than accompany a Seraph, even if it's me. I'll seek you out anyways. It..." He grimaced, as if physically pained by what he had to say next. "...it appears I have much to learn about this world and the war in it." Shifting his gaze to Ian and Vix, he visibly brightened, and the pain disappeared. He was happy to see Vix again, and was interested in this new pal of his that he'd brought along. "That goes for you two, as well. While we walk- assuming you both want to meet my father- we can talk, and get to know each other. That sound good to you guys?"

"Okay is everyone ready? If so I will open a portal to limbo." Pegasus walks up and whispers in Sarah's ear, "keep an eye on the cat I don't trust it. I have a bad feeling about her."

Ian followed Melchio not speaking a word, he was relying on Vix to do all of the talking. (Sorry for the lame post, didn't know what to say)

Sarah was mildly shocked that Mae could talk in her cat form. Slowly she walked over and picked her up and studied her curiously, "Wait, you can talk in that form?" She asked her, arching a brow.
Sage sighed before he turned to Pegasus. " When can we go? " He asked before he looked at the cat. " Don't paw my sister. " He said , a menacing look in his eyes.

[QUOTE="The Imperial Flame]"Duh, silly. Why would I not be able to?" Me said pawing Sarah's nose.

Sarah nodded and grabbed the handle of the blade in her hand and waited for Mae to do the same. She smiled when Sage walked over and rubbed her head before he walked through the portal, she was nervous and scared but if it would help get her brother back to normal sooner she was all for it. "What's Limbo like anyway? I didn't read much of the book yet." She asked Pegasus.

Nyr Frostbane Nyr giggles a bit, squeezing his hand gently. "Falcon, if I ever have to leave, you're coming with me." She reached up and pressed a kiss to his cheek before starting to walk out of the restaurant with his hand in hers. "Yeah, we can stop wherever you need to, I don't mind." She smiled gently, giving his hand a little squeeze. If she were to be honest, she didn't ever want to have to leave him. Not after the progress they'd made thus far. She rests her head on his shoulder, humming a little bit.

"You know what I'm looking forward to? A nice hot bath when we get home." She giggles quietly, combing her free hand through her hair as they walked. She wasn't sure where they were going, but she was sure that Falcon would lead the way as per usual.

Illoi Kotori Iloi hadn't gone far, no, she was leaning against the wall outside her door. When she saw the light, she frowned, staring at it for a moment. "What the-" She cut herself off, throwing the door open. She yelped a bit at the brightness, covering her eyes. She groans, getting a headache.

"Nade!" She yelled, keeping here eyes closed at covered. She didn't understand what was going on, but she didn't like it either. She walks towards him, bumping into him blindly and knocking the wineglass out of his hand so that it shatters. Unbeknownst to her, she stepped on the shards of glass as she fell against Nade, barely catching herself with her forearm against the back of the couch.

I don't know why but when my people died so did our world." Pegasus was ready to walk inside waiting for the little girl to grab hold of his scythe, along with the evil cat, so that they could enter.

Sarah nodded slowly. Why did she expect anything else other than such a world? Well..now she was even more scared, but just as determined to help than ever. "Oh. I see...well. Maybe there's a way to fix it? I dunno.." She told him. She'd already grabbed onto the scythe, currently they were only waiting on Mae. "Have you..tried to fix it? I mean, I'm sure you have..but. With that he ran to the seraph and hugged him tightly and swung him around in circles."do you know how worried I was. You can keep getting yourself in so much danger , it's going to cause me to have a heart attack" Vix said playful putting the man down. He then contuined his walk with both Ian and Melchio. He grabbed melchio' hand and gave it a nice squeeze. He looked trowards Ian and smiled "Ian this is Melchio, my prince in all his glory. Isn't he the most attractive guy you ever saw!"
