She pushed her hair out of her face and decided to look around outside, she didn't care if she missed the welcome meeting. No one so far seemed too welcoming. She stood to explore. That was the most interesting thing to do.

He enters outside to find the cat woman but as he took one step outside it started to rain as his emotion of depression is getting to him "Cat woman..are you out here..are you okay?.." Azeal seems worried and the rain clouds grew darker as his emotions of depression worsened @xxbetaspiritxx @Siberith

She shrieked at the sudden fall of rain before calming "I..I'm here.." She was slightly annoyed at the term 'cat woman' but didn't want to cause any confrontation. Her tail shaded her face from the falling rain. @SinfullyHatred

Carson checked into his room and got all of his clothes and other things put away neatly. He then walked over to the admissions office to get his new course schedule this year, "great... rain", He murmured.

Kai's smile drew into a grin, "That's so cool! I've only ever read about healing magic in books, so I know that it's pretty rare. Wow, it's so cool that I've gotten to meet a healer. Let's both grow to be powerful magic users, yeah?"


Another person, one with an impressive water barrier approached Kai and introduced himself, "It's nice to meet you, Azael. I'm Kai, an ice user. But seeing as how you know my house, I assume you were watching earlier." He looked up and down at the water barrier surrounding the boy and whistled, "With water control like that, you must be very powerful. I think we'll get along really well, especially since our powers are so similar."


When Azael left to socialize with another group in the room, Kai started to notice the chaos that was going on in the room. Now that more and more students were in the room, people had begun to display their powers and discover who worked well with who. "This is kinda getting insane," he said to Cadence, "I wonder where the teachers are..."

Azael sits down beside her as the rain falls down upon them "I'm sorry..I didn't mean to make you feel bad" It starts to rain a little bit more harder as I am about to cry "The last thing I want to do is make someone feel bad.." He says to her @xxbetaspiritxx @Siberith

"I'm fine....Don't worry" She murmured shyly. Trying not to make eye contact, she was bad at holding eye contact. @SinfullyHatred

His mood got better and the rain went away as he looked at her and smiles "We can be friends if you want.." He hugs her to make her know that I am a friend and scratches his head "I hope to see you in some of my classes this year.." Azael waves and smiles as he walks back into the school to the andromeda wing @xxbetaspiritxx @Siberith

She blushed as he hugged her. And nodded. She watched as he walked off and crossed her legs, watching the cloud change as his mood changed too. @SinfullyHatred

I pick up my course schedule and glance at my classes. "Great.. Arcane Physics is going to kick my ass this year." I get my schedule and head over to the library to check out with book I may need for this semester.

Azael walks into the school doors and then a sudden throbbing headache and he falls on one knee "W-what is going on..." His vison starts to fade away and tries gasping for air and holds onto his chest where his heart was as a voice is said into his head "I cursed you not to make any friends or show any emotion to anyone at all" He falls on the floor as he deals great pain then the throbbing headache goes away and his heart rate returns to normal as he is laying on the floor unconscious @xxbetaspiritxx @Siberith

Kai:


Kai hears a thud from the front of the school and turns to see Azael lying on the floor. "Azael? Hey! Azael!" he exclaims, jumping up and running to where he lay.


He reached down and touched a hand to the boy's wrist, checking his pulse. "What happened to you?"

Azael wakes and sits up covering one of his eyes in complete pain "I heard a voice..I felt like my heart was going to explode..I had a huge headache too..that's when it started.." Azael looks pale and sad as he says "The voice said it cursed me not to make any friends or show any emotions.." He closes his eyes as he told this to kai @waterproofbacon

She rushed over to Azael, seeing him fall and she stood silently. She looked at Kai, her ears pinning at yet another stranger and her tail wrapped around her leg. She was unsure of what to say or do so meekly stood, watching. What had happened? She thought, frowning, not wanting to interfere. @waterproofbacon @SinfullyHatred

Kai:


"It said you were cursed?" This was serious. Curses were as diverse as the people that castes them. And from the sound of it, this one was fairly complex since it had a very specific condition of activation. "Have you heard about this cruse before? Like in your family, or maybe an enemy that you've made? Any clue could help."


No way was Kai just going to sit back and let this curse continue to hurt one of his classmates. He was determined to help Azael out.


He acknowledge the cat girl with a nod, "Did anything else happen before he started feeling pain?" He asked her, "Anything odd or out of place?"

"I..Urm...He was talking to me....and...urm... he was upset then urm...he said we could be friends..." She mumbled shyly, her head lowered to look at the floor. She blushed slightly, she wasn't good at talking to anyone. @waterproofbacon

Azael shakes his head as he spoke "I killed the enemy..and as he died he cursed me.." He looks at Kai and said "Because if I cant show emotion my power is useless..I summon water at will.." He shrugs as he keep talking "He did say something about a cure though.." Azael shifts around before saying it "I have to find someone who really cares for who I am with all of their heart.." He looks at kai @xxbetaspiritxx @waterproofbacon

Jessica knew that Chelsea was trying to comfort her but she felt like a small child, lost without her parents. Being treated like this made her feel younger.
She watched Chelsea's tail like she was ready to pounce on it, her own tail swaying and her ears twitching playfully.


I'm a puma. She thought, Why am I acting like this? She didn't want to look vulnerable and cute, she was a fighter. She abruptly turned to face away from Chelsea, her tail dropping to the floor.

Chelsea noticed Jessica turn away from her. Guessing that she got bored of her game Chelsea stopped wagging her tail around.


She then turned to Klef. "Klef. What now?" she questioned.

Jessica's ears perked up as she listened to what Chelsea had said. She felt bad for ignoring her but she felt stupid acting like a child when she was pretty much an adult. It made her look much weaker than she actually was. She took her sword out from her harness and checked it's condition - she liked to make sure it was perfect. She eyes had a specific shine to them when she was holding her sword, she felt more superior with it. People normally didnt take her seriously because she was so short.

Kai's expression melted into a warm smile, "Well that shouldn't be too hard, you're in a school filled with people who want to support you. Hell, I've only said a couple of words to you and I already want to help you with your curse. If you'll let me, that is..."


Kai didn't want to overstep his boundaries. This was Azael's problem, after all, and if he didn't want Kai's help, well...then there wasn't much else he could do. "But wait, if your curse prevents you from having friends and you have to make a friend to break your curse, then how the hell can you manage to make a friend?" It was a dirty trick, Kai was well aware, still, he remained optimistic.

Azael gazes at him and says "I can hold off the curse only for awhile, I've been meditating to build up my sheer will to overcome the curse but yet in the end it still comes back giving me more great pain..my sheer will is silencing the curse right now as we speak.." He gets up and looks at the cat woman and kai "I'll need your guys help" Azael looked pale as he spoke @xxbetaspiritxx @waterproofbacon

"That's what I like to hear! Consider my help yours." Kai noted the appearance of the boy, pale skin that made his blue hair and eyes stand out. He figured something as painful as a punishment curse had to cost a lot of energy to withstand and hold back, Azael must be tired. "You're not looking too good, do you think you can stand? You might feel more comfortable in your room or something. I'm sure the teachers will understand if you miss the welcome thing if it's because of a health issue."

Lance walked as quickly as he could past the throngs of students, heading to the library. It was his first day, and he wanted to avoid anyone and everyone, because with people comes conflict. With time, he planned to actually be social and try to make friends. He just figured it'd be easier this way. He entered the library and found a remote seat in the corner. He grabbed the Animal Encyclopedia: Volume I that he always carries with him from his backpack. He loved learning about new animals, and he was trying to fill his brain up with as much knowledge of nature as he could. Ever since he learned he was special, Lance felt as though he had a duty to learn about the world and its creatures.

Azael nods and says "Yeah, I'll go to my room.." He walks back to his room slowly with his hands in his pocket "I'll see you when I get my energy back.." He notifies Kai @waterproofbacon

Kai:


"Yeah, okay. If you need me, you know what house in in. See you around," he smiled and watched the boy leave. A part of him was concerned about whether or not he'd actually make it to his room, but his rational side reminded him that if Azael said he was fine, Kai should just let him be.


He sighed and surveyed the room. He'd already had a rather eventful day and he'd only been on the school grounds for an hour, "I wonder how the rest of my day will play out," he said to himself with a sigh.
