Shion's face appeared to light up as a more natural-fitting smile appeared on his face. While he lost all ammunition for conversation, he was at least grateful to be in the other's friendly presence.


Did I say lost all conversation? I meant temporarily.


"Um..." the redhead started with, scratching his cheek a bit shyly, "Say, Atlas? What can you do?"

Cadence watched him create an ice shape in his hand with awe. She hadn't seen others use magic yet, her mom and dad didn't have magic abilities, but she did. She must of gained it from their genes somehow. "That is really cool. I use healing magic." She said. "I can heal any life source, but it is extremely draining to me and I can only do one person until I can regenerate my own energy. From what I was told, that will get better once I learn to focus my abilities better." She said with a smile.


"I would show you but I don't have anyone hurt here to heal. It is odd I guess, it is like my energy makes the persons own healing abilities sped up." She said honestly. She didn't know much about her magic except for what she had researched. She didn't even know she had a special ability til one of her friends was hurt. They thought it was the coolest thing EVER. "I am sure you will learn a lot more here, that is the whole point of this school right?"

"Besides make a complete fool of myself? I can think, eat, breathe, speak, all of that wonderful stuff. I can also make really bad jokes, freak people out, and manipulate shadows. Although... That last bit I kind of suck at. For now, at least." On the bright side, he was pretty sure that he was successful in getting the other to open up a bit. Still, there was always a chance that he was completely wrong and Shion was just humoring him.


Tilting his head to the side slightly, he shot a question right back at the guy. "What about you? What can you do?"

Carson kept walking to the corridors but felt the presence of someone else. He kept walking thinking nothing of it. He was almost to his corridor until he heard a silent "meow." He stopped and peaked over his shoulder. He wasn't trying to look very hard for anybody, but he stood still and waited for whatever was following him to come present itself.

Her ears pinned. She had just watched him in awe because of how much taller he was than her. Plus, she was intrigued. Her large ears pinned and her tail coiled around her leg as she grew nervous. She crawled out from the shadows and stayed silent, she didn't want to embarrass herself, she was 'socially awkward'. She bit at her lip then began to walk in the opposite direction, hoping he wouldn't try talk to her, she'd seemed like a creep, but she'd just wanted to get away from the loud noises of the hall. After all, her hearing was enhanced. @Siberith

Carson noticed more movement. He turned even more and noticed a small.. girl like creature. He smiled, remembering how curious every new member becomes. He thought to himself, "this is a brilliant time to see how much I've learned." Carson was very new with his double ability that he was training; social magnetism. He used central focus and honed out all surrounding noises, pinpointing the force towards the small girl walking away. He read that sometimes if you focus, the magnetic force can cause them to feel their presence. He focused hard but wasn't sure if it was getting through or not. He sighed, and whispered to himself, "Looks like I have a lot of work to do this semester," and continued to walk to his corridor.

Azeal walks over to Kai and introduces himself to him "H-hello..I'm not used to big crowds like this and I hardly ever talk..but I think you and me would make great friends, as I see you are in cyrus...I'm in Andromeda...the principal put me there.." Water appears around Azael at will, and a water shield surrounds him because he is nervous @waterproofbacon

She had a height of around 5'2. She felt the magnetism and turned, her tail flickering as she levitated the boy sharply, though she disliked using her powers. "What is that?That you're doing to me?" She frowned, trying to look menacing but failing. Her ears twisted towards him as she turned him to face her. @Siberith

As Carson began walking again he felt an unknowing force stop him in his tracks. He felt the weight of his body decrease and his head became light. He looked to the ground and noticed his feet slowly lifting from the cobblestone ground. He laughed to himself, knowing his force worked. As he turned he kept the grin on his face and peered over at the small girl. "Telekinesis?", he said as his grin turned into laughter. Carson hasn't had such a joyful life like that in a few years, it was a surprise to see his laugh come back, especially at such a random occasion.

She frowned slightly and walked towards him, her large violet eyes narrowing. She was unsure of what to do but couldn't hold back her grin at his laugh. "Well...If you'd kindly stop would be great.." She gently moved him onto the ground, only a couple of feet away from herself as she continued to walk away, her tail coiling around her leg again. @Siberith

As he was lowered to the ground he had a sudden realization. He was an upperclassmen. The sudden realization gave him confidence that he would of never seen before in himself. He had no intention of using this for malicious activity but he definitely had the upper hand, especially when living on campus ground when most upperclassmen find the comfort off campus. A quick burst of confidence overcame Carson, one that was not found very often, "You're new here aren't you?" He said just loud enough for her to hear before she could walk away forever.

He walks out and sees the commotion of the weird cat woman and the big guy "Uh..." His water shield grows thicker as a rock and his eyes got more serious and walks slowly passed them trying not to get involved. @xxbetaspiritxx @Siberith

"Yes..Is it that obvious?" She pouted slightly at this. Great, she thought sarcastically. She turned as her ears pinned. Blushing a tad in embarrassment. She raised an eyebrow as a seemingly sphere of water zoomed past and continued to stay silent. Though, she loved water, very untypical of a cat creature. She poked at the water shield in amusement, a smile playing across her face. @Siberith @SinfullyHatred

Carson noticed her playful poke at the strange mans water shield. He laughed again, and was starting to become very concerned about how joyous he was becoming again. It's been a long time since he's felt this way. He looked over at the boys shield, "Impressive." He began to walk closer to the boy, "But for your information, you really don't need to have it up in such guard. Nothing here will hurt you. I've been here for three years and the biggest concern was somebody overflowed the bathrooms in Arcanic Hall." @SinfullyHatred @xxbetaspiritxx

"Well..." He crossed his arms and thought for a moment, his head tilted. "I can't do much.. I mean, I can speak in Japanese," Shion said, trying to match the same format the other had set up, "and I like reading, and I can, uh, withstand being struck by lightning-"


Hardcore.


"-and I have electric powers," the male concluded with. In example, a light blue spark crackled along his eye and temple before fading just as quickly.

Azael screams and a water knight appears in front of the sphere protecting him within the water sphere as he thinks to himself "I can't get involved.." The water knight does a battle cry and speaks "leave this sphere alone.." @xxbetaspiritxx @Siberith

Carson looked up at the boys water knight. "Yeah, it'd probably be best if you just take that down. You're gonna make a scene." Carson looked over his shoulder to make sure any of his colleagues wouldn't be looking. He turned back over and looked in awe at the knight. He was impressed that a new student was able to arcane so much power. @SinfullyHatred @xxbetaspiritxx

She jumped back and her eyes widened. She hadn't meant to hurt anyone and she began to feel guilty as her ears pinned again in nervousness and fear, likewise with her tail coiling around her leg. She bit her lip and mumbled "I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean to.." And with that, she scurried away, outside. @Siberith @SinfullyHatred

Little electricity burst did not go unnoticed. In fact, Atlas kind of started freaking out. In a good way, of course. "Holy Mother of all things... INSANE!" Basically bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet, he stared at the redhead with wide, excited eyes. And, in his defense, he had never really seen anyone use actual magic before. All he had seen prior to coming to this school was some of those cheep misdirection acts that street magicians pulled. "That's awesome! You're like, some kind of human storm! A JAPANESE STORM!" He was getting pumped up about this stuff, shut up.


Realizing how much of a scene he was probably causing, the teenager tried to calm himself down some. Smiling awkwardly, he rubbed the back of his neck. "Ah... Sorry. That was a bit too weird of me." Only because he wasn't intentionally acting dumb. "But, seriously, that's awesome!"

Azael releases the water knight and his water sphere, His light blue clothes, hair and eyes shined in the light. He looks at carson and weird cat lady with a nervous stare and starts walking away to the Andromeda wing. "I'm afraid.." Azael walks with his hands in his pocket thinking to himself " A big guy like that should of punched me already..and that cat lady she looked awfully sad.." Azael shakes his head @xxbetaspiritxx @Siberith

Carson grinned, he knew the exact feeling he was experiencing. Carson remembered when nobody helped him out his first day. "It's move-in day. The only thing to be afraid of is having to force yourself to meet new people and maybe having to be friendly to your resident adviser." Carson laughed and noticed the shy girl ran off before he could say much more to her. @xxbetaspiritxx @SinfullyHatred

She unsheathed her claws and scraped at the rocks. You're so awkward, she thought to herself, Why can't you be and look normal?Is that so hard to ask? She held back the tears in her eyes, she could easily get emotional. She hugged her knees to her chest and her tail curled around her feet comfortingly as she lay against a tree trunk.

Azael looks out the window in the Andromeda wing looking for that cat lady making sure that she wasn't hurt or crying he thinks to himself "Smooth..real smooth of you azael..your first day and you make a girl run off feeling bad.." @xxbetaspiritxx @Siberith

Drake looked around outside for a minute or two but was unable to find the kid from the bench. He Realized the guy must already have gone inside, after all he did have a couple minutes of a headstart.


Drake headed back to the front entrance of the house and was about to head through the door when it flew open and almost hit him right in the face. The boy from the bench looked startled at first, but that look quickly changed and the boy looked cold and stubborn and he demanded that Drake give his new friend Aaron back to him. Drake smiled down at Aaron in his planter.


"Well Aaron, your very rude owner has decided not to abandon you after all. " Drake handed the planter to the younger kid and was no longer smiling.





"Your arrogance will get you nowhere in life." Drake took a step toward the door. "A simple, 'Thank you for bringing Aaron back to me' would have done just fine." He said as he pulled the door open to head in and find a room to put his stuff.


"People." He spit out like venom in disgust.

Carson focused his Social Magnetism on boy. He felt the boy was sad and scared. He felt the boy felt bad for scaring the girl. "Hey," he said to the boy, "If there is one thing I've learned here, it's that first impressions mean nothing. Go find her and talk to her."
