"H-huh?"


The poor boy had returned to the wall where he had initially stationed himself, grabbing a largely sized navy blue backpack. At the mention of hurrying, Shion slung the backpack on and jogged over to the raven haired male. "Wait.. I'm.."


Not finishing the thought, he tried to think back to the schedule, unfolding the map and looking to where he had written his notes.

The silence was a bit uncomfortable as Drake sat beside his new classmate. The younger guy pulled out his map for a brief moment, but it wasn't long before he got up and left altogether. Drake knew it wasn't going to be easy making new friends here, especially since most of his friends at home were animals anyway. He was hoping, however, that it would be a tad easier being here among other people that have had to deal with being different since they discovered their abilities. He was wrong, it was going to be just as hard.


Drake leaned down to get something out of his pack when he caught a glimpse of the plastic planter the kid had been holding when he came in the building. He smiled as he leaned down to pick it up, and he once again noticed the marker across the side spelling out the name Aaron.


"Well Aaron," He said talking to the plant. "I have only tried talking to animals. Do you want to talk back to me too?" He asked with a smirk on his face. The plant obviously didn't talk back to him, but it didn't hurt him to try. "It looks like your friend, Mr. no time for new friends, was in such a hurry to get away from me he left you here to talk with me instead."


Drake didn't like the idea of having to carry the plant in addition to the massive backpacks he had brought with him. However, he noticed when the kid was looking at the map, that he seemed to be interested in the same house that Drake is in. He could also drop his things off if everything went well and he wouldn't have to carry them around anymore.


He packed his things up and headed back out the door and started toward Lyra house in search for the mysterious new kid that had him so intrigued. It wasn't long before he was standing in front of his new home in looking around to see if he could see his timid new housemate.

Cadence smiled at the two before nodding her head with a wave. She didn't dare walk backward though, that would end bad for her. "Thank you Atlas! I will!" She said before she spun around and made her way to her room. She walked in, seeing that no one else was there, dropped her bags on the floor, and laid down on the bed. Why had he told him to hurry? Were they supposed to go somewhere? She lifted her head, and pulled her backpack onto the bed. After rummaging through it, she finally pulled out the schedule she had, opening it up to see the instructions, they were supposed to be in the main hall... like now. With a long, drawn out sigh, she rolled onto her back and spread her arms across the bed, staring at the ceiling. "I guess I should get moving." She said to herself, though her body didn't move, she really had no drive to go to whatever this was... But she promised her mom she would try. So reluctantly, she pushed herself up after a few moments of laying there, shoved her things in a corner next to the bed... and walked out.


She made her way out of the front of the building, before heading down the walkway. It wasn't til about halfway down it that she realized, she had no idea where she was. It didn't look really familiar, seeing as she had just walked from the main hall with Atlas, this should be familiar... but alas, it wasn't. And not uncommon for Cadence, she was lost. "Yup." She said with a bland tone, spinning to look around.

"Wait... what? Why wait? Is there a reason why I should wait?" Now he was confused.


Still, he at least tried to keep going. Walking backwards so as to keep an eye on the redhead, and how well he was keeping up, Atlas tilted his head to the side slightly. If not for the numerous notes that had been scribbled onto the other's map, he would've though that Shion was doubting his navigation capabilities. Somehow managing to not trip over something on his slow advance toward the Cyrus building, he spoke up. "Whatcha looking for?"

"What are we hurrying for?" he asked him, frowning when he realized he couldn't read his own hand writing. Damn, where did his schedule go..


Folding the map again, Shion stuffed it back into his pocket, jogging once more to catch up with Atlas. Why did this guy take bigger steps than him??


Now beside him - or at least a little in front of the backward-walking male - Shion had his hands behind his back neatly, hands holding the bottom of his backpack just for the sake of doing something. Every fiber of his being told him to be friendly, but there was no socializing manual.


So, in short, he was a bit screwed.

Fixing himself a bit, the raven decided to walk like a normal person; which honestly held a much lower risk of tripping over himself. He shoved his hands into his pockets and shrugged. "I just remembered that we had to be at the main building at some point today. I forgot the time that we were supposed to be there by, but..." Glancing around, Atlas tried to get a hint from their fellow students. The population of teenagers had decreased a bit since he had last been out there with his last tour group; and there were quite a few people who were starting to make their way towards a rather large building.


Given, there were still a good number stragglers around. It was either that they had forgotten about the meeting as well, or were just waiting until the last second. Either way, something was happening.


"Hm... I think we have some time left, though."

Shion was unaware of the pout that crossed his features, taking a look at the stranglers himself. "Um... Have you been to the house yet?" he asked then, looking up at the other, "How long have you been here?" Soon he was asking a plethora of questions, tilting his head slightly. "Uh.. T-thank you, by the way."

Cadence sighed as she looked around, it wouldn't take long for her to turn and make her way back to her room. From what she could tell, not many people were making their way anywhere right now, so she would be safe to get back to her room and check out the map. It would most likely take her quite a bit of time to decipher the thing, but she might be able to get an idea. After making it back, Cadence laid across her bed on her stomach, pulling out the map and laying it in front of her on the bed. She ran her hand over it to smooth out some of the wrinkles, before scanning around it to find her house. "Andromeda, there you are." She said, pointing at the house before trying to find the main hall. Maps suck.

"Cool." Chelsea said monotonously. "I can. Wait for Jessica." Chelsea spoke with a slight amount of concern. She looked to Jessica and gave her a thumbs-up as well, trying to communicate her empathy towards her heavy pack.
"I would. Help. I want to help." Chelsea put out her hand to hold her heavy pack. Hoping that Jessica would let her carry her burdens.

"I would like to come with you but I don't want to hold you up.." She muttered. She didn't want to force them to wait for her, although she would've liked to be shown around the school.

Jessica looked down at her backpack and then back up at Chelsea, "It's fine! I can carry it." She insisted, picking up the bag with a great amount of effort. "I would like to come with you but I don't want to hold you up.." She muttered. She didn't want to force them to wait for her, although she would've liked to be shown around the school.

Chelsea stared blankly for a second. Her ears twitched and she walked up to Jessica. Lifting her hand swifty she took her bag, her tail stood up and Chelsea said "Room. Let's go."

Jessica was surprised but looked at Chelsea somewhat gratefully. There was one thing that she was forgetting to mention though, She didn't know where her room was. She didn't want to say anything that would make her look stupid so she just started walking, letting her feet carry her.

Suddenly her jet black Puma ears and tail appeared, as they did when she was embarrassed. She blushed and held her tail as her ears twitched. They'll think I'm weird now.. During her mindless wandering, Tori had discovered where each of the houses were, discovered how clumsy people here could be, and had managed to remain unseen the entire time by burying her Aura and jumping from house to house.


Now, Tori was perched on the roof of the main hall, a single leg hanging over as she watched the students flock to the hall for the meeting. Not necessarily a show-off, Tori saw no problem with jumping off of the right side of the hall, a blue ring appearing where she would land and allowing her to land unharmed. She continued on, slipping into the crowd and then into the main hall, following the stream of students before eventually taking a seat. While she waited, she took out a blank piece of paper and a pencil, and began sketching.

Jessica looked at Klef and slowly shook her head, "I'm sorry..I might have known but if I did then I forgot." She admitted. Suddenly her jet black Puma ears and tail appeared, as they did when she was embarrassed. She blushed and held her tail as her ears twitched. They'll think I'm weird now.. She thought to herself, staring at the ground.

"It's fine! I don't know my new dorm either, but I have some places we can store your stuff for now." Klef said debating where they could store the bag since the three needed to be in the main building soon. Klef leads them under a staircase and into a small room, this was their room for the past few years and probably is still their room judging by the fact that all of Klef's stuff was still there. There were circus posters from the past years tacked to the wall, and makeshift shelfs with knick-knacks and small rocks."Welcome to my room! It's not very big, but we can keep your backpack here for now." They said plopping onto their bed, it was nice to be home again...

Chelsea adjusted her walking to be right beside Jessica. She then patted her on the head, stroking her ears. She then said smoothly, "It's okay."


She made face as endearing as possible, while patting her new feline friend.

Aaron set what he'd brought with him down on the mattress. It wasn't very much, just a small bag and his planter really. Wait, where was it? Aaron looked around, but he couldn't find his plant anywhere. No, he hadn't had it when he'd come into the room, he must have left it somewhere. The bench!


Aaron ran out of the room and don the hall to go find his lost belonging. Turn out it would find its way to him sooner. As he pushed through the door out of house Lyra he almost hit the person standing just outside. Aaron stopped himself, taking in the person for a moment before the switch of recognition flipped. It was the same boy from earlier.


His eyes widened as he noticed that the boy was holding his plant, but the surprise was soon hushed and replaced by the stubborn coldness. He looked up at the boy with his one uncovered eye. "Give it back," he said finally, his hands clenched.

Chelsea held Jessica's bad with utmost care. Securing it with both arms. However, she noticed the flustered emotions from Jessica. Looking at her ears, she realized that she was also a feline-human. Chelseas tail wiggled around a little, she then decided to comfort Jessica.
Chelsea adjusted her walking to be right beside Jessica. She then patted her on the head, stroking her ears. She then said smoothly, "It's okay."

Jessica blushed even more, looking up at Chelsea. She felt more relaxed as Chelsea petted her. Maybe it will be okay..She thought as she walked into Klef's small room. It looked well lived-in and homely. She flashed a small smile at Klef, "Thankyou."

"No prob! Put it wherever you want." They said. " We need to head over to the main building soon, I completely forgot that we need to be there." Klef adjusts some of the rocks sitting on the shelves, they used to hate this room, but they grew to like it after living in there for so long. "I'm going to miss sleeping here.." Klef muttered.

After some time of looking at her map, and daydreaming while doing so, Cadence finally located the main hall. She pushed herself off the bed, grabbing a pen before going back to circle the Andromeda house, along with the Main Hall. After doing so, she made her way out of the room, and headed out of the exit of the house. So far, she hadn't seen anyone else in the Andromeda house, wondering if that meant she was going to be staying by herself there. The notion didn't really bother her. After walking out of the doors, Cadence lifted the map, and began walking toward the direction of the main hall. As she got closer, she realized it was huge, which in turn made her wonder how she even missed it yesterday. She didn't move real fast, feeling like laying down and getting some sleep, but she was probably already late.

In his exploration of the school grounds, Kai had managed to find the locations of all three houses and stow his luggage away in his room. That was great and all, but in his leisurely mini-adventure, he'd forgotten all about the welcome meeting that was set to start very soon. "Crap!" he exclaimed after checking his watch. If he didn't hurry, he'd surely be late.


Kai bolted out of Cyrus house and hurried up the path leading to the main building. "How could I forget something as important as this?" he muttered to himself. "This isn't how I imagined my first day at all..."


He arrived in front of the building in a whirl and stopped for a moment to catch his breath.

As Cadence moved along, she was suddenly pulled from her own mind as someone bolted past her, obviously in a hurry. Her dark eyes watched him, smiling to herself as she watched him go into the main hall. She wasn't sure why he was in such a hurry, from the look of it, everyone was late to the meeting. Cadence walked into the building, lowering her head a bit before clasping her hands in front of herself. She tugged at her fingers, moving to find a seat while avoiding all eye contact. Maybe, she wouldn't be forced to converse this way, keep herself from making a fool of herself. She needed to call her mom when she got home, planning on telling her about how nice everyone has been and how she believed she would make lots of friends here, even if she didn't. Cadence sat, placing her hands on her lap and lowering her gaze. She watched her fingers intertwining and moving around each other. Her mind began wandering to her friends at home.


'Why do you always have to do that?' Gavin had asked her when she began playing with her hands. With a shrug, Cadence would always reply. 'Cause then, I don't have to focus on your big mouth yapping.' Cadence laughed to herself as she thought about their conversations. She was going to miss him. Of course, her friend Melissa would always start laughing at Gavin when Cadence said something rude to him, picking on each other endlessly.

"Klef. I wanna go." Chelsea said with an ecstatic demeanor.

Jessica looked up at Chelsea, "Why don't you put my bag over there-" Jessica pointed to the far corner of the room, "and we can go."


Jessica debated leaving her sword in the room while they went but she felt somewhat unsafe without it as if something dangerous would happen on school grounds. She sighed and took her long black hair down from it's ponytail to partly cover the sword on her back so people wouldn't get suspicious.

"Alright! Right after Jessica sets down her stuff we'll head straight to the main building. There's so many people there, I can't wait to see all the new students coming in this year! I heard a lot of new students are coming in this year!" Klef says, joining Chelsea in their excitement. They noticed that Jessica haad a sword behind their back, but it probably was for self defense, or something... Klef leads them out of the room, locking the door so that no one else could come in. " This way!" They said with both of their hands firmly grasping onto the two, pulling them to the main building, going very fast.
