Character Creation Guideline

It goes without saying that creative freedom will be extended towards all avenues of the character creation process. Your character's identity, beliefs, ambitions, regrets, and problems will not be questioned. The only thing I will state is that your character must not lack flaws. It is imperative that your character must have several weaknesses that will affect them either in combat or in social environments. Whatever you decide for your character, problematic beliefs such as racism and discrimination is also welcomed.

Nothing is too dark. You'll know just how sinister the world can be once you uncover Zhao Yun's background and Berezkina's story.

1. How many characters am I authorized to make?

One protagonist, one side character. Demons are exclusive to GMs.​

2. Are there any nationalities we're not allowed to play?

Only countries affiliated with KEASA are not involved with the United Nations and DECRA. This does not mean you're not allowed to play ethnicities from that group. Just make sure it makes sense.​

3. How can I make certain my character useful in combat?

Give them a gun and hopefully they're not afraid of needles. Demons are not bullet-proof, just unkillable.​

4. How will character deaths be handled?

Your choice. Just let me know how you want your character to die.​

5. Would you advise I play a professional character or can I make them somewhat eccentric?

Being goofy and playful is fine. You have to be insane to survive the operations, so everyone is bound to some level of insanity. I'd just advise against playing characters that are cartoonishly outlandish to the point they'd run head first at demons.​

6. I don't know what specialty I want my character to have.

Your character's loadout and class can be empty during the application process. Feel free to discuss with approved roleplayers later down the road if you just want to fill or explore options other than "sniper" or "vanguard".​

7. What are some things that'll get my character rejected?

There are several reasons you could be rejected from the roleplay. Lack of depth in character. You clearly did not read the lore and somehow made a lobster. Your character barely finished high-school last week and somehow managed to join a top secret operation. Bad writing. Bad character art. Especially AI art that screams uncanny valley. While AI art is fine, just make sure you cherry pick the ones that isn't so painfully obvious.​

8. When are the character submissions due?

It will be announced on the interest check after Document VI - "Annexation" is done.​

9. I'm having a hard time finishing the character sheet. Can I get an extension?

10. Will you abandon this project like you did with Aeon of Heroes?
