nice to meet you! i'm not new to rp but i'm not super well versed in rpn specifically so we're in this together lol

Post orders are usually settled automatically, and it's usually established after the first couple of rounds. But honestly just write whenever you can or whenever your character is directly interacted with. That's the best approach for everyone given that you don't start interactions with someone new who is still writing a response for another interaction.

Hopefully everyone here can adapt to a more slow posting rate from me, as I can only post once per week or two. But I do plan on utilizing my good friends Panther and November Witch to cover for me whenever I can't immediately write a scene change. Since they've been with me for years now, I imagine there won't be much issues.

As for the Operations Manual, it's nearly complete and that should kickstart the roleplay in a few days.

Some other roles to consider including the ones already mentioned:
- Combat Medic
- Anti-Demonic Equipment Specialist
- Demolitions Expert (although I think the Breacher role mentioned in November's sheet alludes to the same thing)
- Communications Expert and/or Translator (honestly this might only be important for translating Korean since KEASA operative will be prominent through the roleplay........... Dae-Jin?)
- can anyone fly a fking helicopter
- Initiator (I think Raimondo and Eva can share this role. The former is canonically more jaded but Eva's psychotic attributes could potentially make her immune to demonic influences)
- Explosive Ordnance Disposal

I will also mention that your character can have two roles, and there can be multiple of the same. Like how both Dae-Jin and Jacinthebox are both snipers.

That will work. I will expand on the equipment list shortly once I post the Operations Manual today, which I've been trying to finish.

Well, there's no overlap in Initiator subroles or how they would do things right now. I don't see anything objectionable ATM but the team's lineup is subject to optimization over time depending on what operations will be on the table.

Raimondo is basically a facetank DPS specialist demon hunter first and foremost, anything else is second. There are certainly opportunities to complement his strengths and cover his weaknesses on the class overlap side.

Massive apologies for the delays, as the last two weeks have required a lot of my attention related to me moving to another city. But things have calmed down for me in the past several days. I should be able to be more consistent from here on out.

The next GM post will be made by Panther . You can wait for him or post ahead of time - you are not required to wait. Just stating the fact that he will post the next scene progress.

If anyone is going to rewrite a part in their character sheet, now is the time - do let me know once you make any changes, and I will go through it again.

There's a five-minute learning curve on how to use codes. It's very simple, as all you will need to is change the text.

While it's not explicitly stated, it's hinted at in my cs. However, I'll just say it here so it's clearer for those still looking for character specialties. Dia used to be a tanker, so she's familiar with many kinds of explosives. She's very familiar with engineering revolving around machines and vehicles, a certain amount of radio equipment knowledge. Working on a tank means she has been taught all roles and about all facets of the vehicle. These are all things she is skilled in to varying degrees.

That being said though, her main role in the group is breaching, soaking up fire, and CQC. Hopefully this clears things up and gives more insight into what she can and can't do.

I think you did a lovely job! Very funny contrast between the grizzled war vet and ipad kid typing lol.

I don't know if this would be at all helpful, but in the control panel, the first line where you put your character pic url ( --character: url('img link') no-repeat 50% 10%/cover; ) you can change the horizontal or vertical positioning of your picture by messing around with those two numbers in blue, and you obviously figured out how to resize your stuff height/width wise. The cropping looks fine imo tho!

Also, question for the DMs: did yall have a list of classes you wanted us to pick from? I'm assuming the roles list was for Specialties (ex. "Anti-Demonic Equipment Specialist would go under "Specialty" in Troya's loadout tab) but did you have a pre-made division/list for the Classes in this RP?

Ohhh, jeez I was playing all with the whole width&height settings and whatnot actually attached with the picture, and I scoured the internet to no avail. I'll definitely try that on the next turn but, thank you for the re-assurance! :-)
It was also tons of fun to read up on your and our group's turns seeing the character dynamics unfold. I actually ended up telling a friend about how this works (we come from a different type of roleplay background) and he was enamored by the flow and go, lol... The classes are more suggestions than absolute. The Specialty tab is more about what your character accels at - this can correspond to their class or be something else, it matters little in the grand scheme of things. That entire section is honestly more cosmetic than anything that will be important for the roleplay, similar to how your loadout in most COD games isn't that important in the campaign.

The role list above was actually for the class. So the "Anti-Demonic Equipment Specialist" would go there.

Hiya! I'm so sorry for the awfully late post. I was spending an ungodly amount of time drawing this woman. I’ve updated her loadout a bit; other than those changes, everything is still the same.

Now, I just have a few questions before moving forward!

Is the target building in an urban setting? Are there any other buildings nearby that Jacinthe can perch on, or perhaps a hill, even if the location is away from civilisation? What’s the vibe, basically?

I’m also curious if there will be an OOC on Discord in the future or if we’ll continue the OOC chat here. I’m totally fine with either option, but I worry that RPN’s notification system will have to battle me tooth and nail to make me punctual for once.
