[The Suspicious Eye]

The twins look at the plate their eyes twinkle with amazement at all the delicious food in front of them they smile and in unison say "thank you, for the food!!" They eat the food in a manner of those who had training in etiquette would, smoothly cutting their food into the proper size and eating it. They didn't slurp or spill anything, Nya and Nai sat on the table and would steal bits of their food Nya munching on the sweet bread rolls and Nai eating a apple. The twins looked up noticing the hungry Bellartrix. "Your Angel-Wolf doesn't eat human food?" Uma asked.

"Well, she does" Arcturus stared down at the wolfangel in his arms. "Except she will leave nothing," he stared at Bellatrix, who stared back. "Nothing at all for anyone else to eat." Bellatrix whined, whacking Arcturus in the face with a wing.


Arcturus rolled his eyes at the wolf. He pushed a plate with food at Bellatrix, who pounced upon on the sweets. Arcturus resorted to eating his own meal quietly, ignoring Bellatrix when she kept swiping his food. "Point made." He sighed, rubbing Bellatrix behind the ears.

The twins giggled at this interaction between the boy and his pet. "You two have a great bond" Uma says smiling at the two, this was nice. Uma turned to her sister, she still had an uncertain aura but she seemed to be a little less tense. Uma continues eating while Una puts her silverware down and looks at the boy. "I've just realized we don't even know your name" Una says half curiously and half cautiously. He seems all right but if I learned anything from my time in the mafia, " friend or foe, always know their name."

"I am Arcturus Draconis, and this chubby over here" Arcturus gestured to the wolfangel gobbling down food, "is Bellatrix. Nice to meet you." He nodded politely at the girls. "I'm a craftsman and trader in Nordio, though I rarely travel. I mainly go to Wernod and Matral, though I have gone to the cities when I was young." He tilted his head at the two girls. "And what might be your names?"

"Thanks. But I can wait until we get to the house. My feet and ankles are starting to hurt too." Because she had been walking for quite some time now, Ashley now did want to rest, but there was no bench nearby, so she had to be patient. They were almost home anyway, so sitting at a particular place would just be a waste of time. She rested her free hand over her stomach before looking down at Aiji, feeling the Fox's furry tail on her leg.

"I'm Uma and this is Nya" she strokes her cat-bat. "I'm a clairvoyant, I see visions of things to come, but not often." Uma nudges her sister, Una gives a small sigh "I'm Una and my cobra-cat is named Nai, we all live in the city of Seinwerik, where we work for our adopted father." Una didn't trust Arcturus all the way, but she didn't consider him a enemy... yet. He seemed pretty nice and Uma liked him so that was enough for her. She looked around the place was nice, but small "Where does the rest of your family stay" Uma asked.

Cylin let out a silent sigh followed by a smile. She looked ahead to see her house just a few yards away. It was a rather normal looking house like ago The others in Dimtorlix. Eventually, they stood outside of her house. She fumbled around in the small white purse she had been carrying and pulled out a silver key. Quickly, she unlocked the door and opened it for Ashley, allowing her to enter first.

Arcturus grinned at them. "Nice to meet you, Uma and Una. As for my family, I'm the only one left now." He looked a little wistful. "My parents died on a trading trip, they were robbed. I was staying here in Nordio with a family friend when they went on that trip, since it was a bit too far for me to handle."

Ashley quietly entered the house. The house was much bigger then her house back in Wernod. There were many differences from her house and the Setzky Household. The most notable difference was that they had a view of the neighborhood whereas she has the view of an entire forest. Of course, there was also a size difference. Because she didn't know her way around the house, she waited for Cylin.

Cylin followed in behind her, Aiji sliding past just as the door shut. She flipped off her shoes easily before entering all the way in. From the door, it was a living room, kitchen, and door leading to rooms and bathrooms. It was quite spacious considering there was only a long couch and dining table to be seen. Caine always disliked alot of furniture and Cylin didn't object. Aiji immediately nudged open one of the doors leading to a room. The room was the one that they all slept in together for the past few years. Cylin gestured to the couch and looked to Ashley. "Come sit. You're tired, right?"

"I'm so sorry, I had no idea" Una said she looked down at her food Nai peaking up at her. "We have that in common" Uma starts. Una looks at her in shock, they hadn't talked about their parents ever since it happened "sister." Uma holds Una's hand "we lost our parent's at a young age too. They were murdered right in front of us in our own home. It's not something we like to talk about" Uma grips her sister's hand a little tighter she was shaking a little. "But we have our memories, and they give us the strength to move on," Una finishes and smiles at her sister.


Uma nods, she tuns to Arcturus "thank you for the meal,the wind chime and letting us stay. This was really nice of you, you have a pure and kind heart."

When Ashley sat down, she felt relaxed. Practically because she had been standing for a majority of the day. If she was at home, she'd probably be waking up from a nap. "Yeah...Thanks..." Evidently, Ashley was tired. She then covered her mouth when she yawned. She felt like she could call asleep any minute. Despite feeling that it was impolite to fall asleep in someone else's house, considering that it was her first time there, Ashley couldn't help it because she really was tired. Not to mention that she suffers from insomnia on certain nights, which she hated. Feeling her eyelids getting heavy, Ashley decided to lay down on her left side. While resting her head on her arm, she rested her free hand over her stomach. "Wake me up when your...Brother gets home..." Ashley would end up falling asleep right then and there. Sadly, she couldn't help it.

Cyrin stifled a laugh as the woman feel a sleep. She paced over to a room that was unused, taking the blanket of the bed and bringing it back to Ashley. Gently, she placed the blanket over Ashley, making sure it covered up to her shoulders. With a silent sigh, she looked around the nearly empty living room. To pass the time, Cyrin sat in the spacious living room and called over Aiji with a whistle. He came walking somewhat fast and sat in front of her. She played with his long fur, braiding it and such. Soon, Caine came back with a bag in his hands.


"Ah... Welcome back, Caine."

Ashley was sound asleep by the time Caine had returned. Thankfully she wasn't snoring, so it was very peaceful. However, she started moving slightly to make herself more comfortable, she started groaning a bit. This was usually a bad sign, because it meant that Ashley could be having either a bad Nightmare or a Vivid Dream about her baby.

The siblings turned to Ashley as she groaned, both wondering if she was okay. She did say to wake her up when Caine got back, but she seemed like she was incredibly tired. Caine walked to the kitchen, setting the bag down on the kitchen counter. While he did this, Cylin moved over to the couch Ashley was sleeping on and gently shook her.

When Cylin shook her, Ashley slowly woke up. Although her vision was a bit blurry, she knew it was Cylin. When her vision cleared, she saw Cylin. Caine was already in the Kitchen. She slowly sat up holding her back. The only thing she didn't like about sleeping on her side was because there were times where'd she wake up with a dull pain in her lower-back, which she hated. She rubbed her eyes, still a bit tired. Ashley also started feeling her lower stomach, as she felt a sharp pain while sleeping. Thankfully, it was not sharp enough to wake her up. "How long was I sleeping for?" she asked, because who knew how long Caine was gone for and when he would be coming back.

Cylin stood up and looked over to Caine, who had begun cooking. "Hmm.... About.... 40 some minutes? I'm not good at estimating, but it was long enough to completely braid Aiji, " she said with a smile as she pointed to the fully braided Fox.

Ashley was astonished by the braided Fox. Hmmm, considering that Aiji was a male, she wasn't sure if he was okay with it or not. At least her hair wasn't braided while she was sleeping, however, what she would not like more then that is being touched. For obvious reasons too. "He looks cute that way." Ashley smiled as she relaxed on the couch, relieving her back. She then ran her hand down her hair before reaching out to the Fox, hoping for a more friendlier interaction rather then being growled at.

Aiji stared at the hand coming towards him and looked to Cylin as if checking to make sure it was alright. Cylin smiled at him cheerfully, which seemed to make him less tense. He sat still and allowed her to touch him.

Clerinde felt a tremor as the sun slowly sunk under the lavishly green hills. It was beautiful, the sky was turning a brilliant shade of magenta, and the clouds were floating idly. But she couldn't put her finger on why it seemed so wrong..

Uma shuddered there was something wrong, something off but she couldn't quite put her finger on what. "Uma are you okay?" Una asked putting her shoulder on her sister. "I just feel off" she looks down at her empty plate and the wind chime and lifts it up looking at how the light glistens off the quartz. "Don't you feel it?" then a slight tremor occurs. Una jumps up scaring Nai and Nya into running under the table "We aren't gonna die in here are we?" Una now frightened.

Arcturus rolled his eyes at them. "There hasn't been a cave collapse in the history of Nordio. The walls are solid crystal, and hardened when an underground river used to run through them." He frowned as he stared at the quivering plates. Probably just a full out stampede or something similar at the marketplace. Or one of the rowdy festivals where someone will get turned into a pancake if they are not careful. "You guys won't die here."

Uma holding her hand to her mouth to stifle the laughter "Una you are so ridiculous!" Una frowns and puts her and on her hips "I don't know why you are you so clam! When's the last time we've been in a cave system. Really?" Nya and Nai poked their heads out from under the table and then scampered back over the table and ate whats left of the food. "Greedy" Una says sitting back down. Uma turns her head to the door "Do you think there is any damage outside" Uma has a worried look on her face.

"I'm sure there won't be any damage. Even if there is a cave collapse, which is quite impossible, the part of the caves is among some of the safest. There is no mining done here, and the walls are formed naturally." Arcturus raised an eyebrow as Bellatrix leapt on the leftovers along with the other two, devouring whatever was left.

Like before, Ashley decided to pet him on the head and then gently scratched him behind the ears. Because her stomach got in the way, she couldn't exactly bend too much. To get closer to Aiji, she ended up sitting on the ground to get closer to him. While petting and playing with the lovely fox with one hand, she held her stomach with another.
