Ashley did like Aiji, but wasn't aware of his strong sense of loyalty. She ran her fingers down her hair before continuing to walk with the two siblings.

Cylin gave Ashley an apologetic smile before continuing to walk the now empty streets. Caine, who hated sweets, turned to Cylin, who was already heading towards the cafe. "Cylin, do not go to the cafe. Sweets for dinner isn't exactly filling, " he said, stopping at once and turning to Ashley. "If your feet hurt, I'll carry you to our house. "


"Err.... Ashley. What Caine means is that he's worried about me. He doesn't like it when I'm out when it's dark out. " Cylin elaborated.

Ashley got a little confused, but figured that Caine was referring to Cylin. She wasn't exactly comfortable with the idea of being picked up. Although she started feeling a bit insecure about her weight, she didn't show it. She looked into her satchel to see how much money she had left. It was plentiful. Oddly enough, she still wasn't feeling very hungry. "Well, I'm sure we'll be back at your guys' place by sunset."

Caine silently placed his hand on his sisters head before pulling her head into a loving hug. After a moment of embracing, he released her and walked in a seemingly random direction with Shiki at his side. Cylin waved them off and turned to Ashley. "Let's head home first. Caine is going to buy some things for dinner, "she said to her before walking in the opposite direction of her brother.

"Sure. I guess we can head home first." Ashley followed Cylin. "It must be fun, having an older brother." She hinted that she was an only child, but hasn't heard from her family in a long time. "So what's your home like?" she asked out of curiosity. Ashley ended up looking at her stomach when she felt movement, mainly kicking from her baby. However, not wanting to seem awkward, she just cradled her stomach rather then saying anything. Her backache did seem to ease up while they were walking, which did relieve her because it was starting to bother her.

"Yeah. I'm really grateful for Caine. But you know, sometimes you take your siblings for granted. You don't treasure them or spend time with them and then...." Cylin paused for a bit with a slightly troubled smile on her face. The thought of her other siblings being gone was nearly enough to make her cry, but she willed herself not to. Atleast not in front of Ashley. ".... they're gone," she finished simply, not wanting to darken the atmosphere. "Our house? Ermm... compared to some houses here, ours is small. There's 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Ah, but Caine and I usually sleep in the same room. The pets too, so there's plenty of room."

Walking back to his cave system

Arcturus stared at the extremely colorful pair of twins who'd used him as a meatshield a while ago. They were sitting at a cafe, apparently eating desserts. He raised an eyebrow as he saw the twins purchase the sparkly windchime from the cafe. He internally sweatdropped. Those windchimes are everywhere, you could but a handful for 5 Ghaiz. "Seriously, you two. Did you just barge into Nordio without any contractor?" he said as he walked next to the twins, Bellatrix dozing in his now empty basket.

"Well yeah, It's a free world" Una said turning to him, she paused and then says "but we will deny it to the police" she gives a grin. Uma continues to stare at the wind chime as Nya flies over her head caring the wind chime, the light sound jingles in the air "So sparkly" she is captivated by the shimmering of the chimes. Nai jumps up onto Una's shoulder and gives a odd hissing meow, "yeah it is getting late I don't know if were gonna make it home today." Una looks up in thought I wonder where we are gonna rest, I guess the streets are all right but I'm not sure Uma will be comfortable her face saddens a little.

Arcturus raised an eyebrow. "Are you guys that enchanted with crystals? The quartz in the windchime isn't even good quality, and not the best craftsmanship either." he stared at the windchime, the light fracturing through it. The sun was starting to set, and stores were beginning to close. "You know, you guys should really find some lodgings some, unless you want to be robbed by thieves." Outsiders didn't receive the most hospitable treatment in Nordio, especially ones without a contractor, as the contractor often provided lodgings for the customers.

Overall, Ashley had a good experience in Dimtorlix. Met some new friends and was most likely going to buy two pets and bring them home so she can raise them while awaiting the arrival of her daughter. "Four Bedrooms and Two Bathrooms aren't too bad. Its a lot bigger then my house back in Wernod." she commented.

Una huffs and tuns to the boy she was about to complain to him when Uma turned to him "CAN YOU MAKE A SHINER ONE!!!" Uma yells, almost a deafening level. Nya put his paws in his ears and drops the wind chime and Una accidentally steps on it. "Oops" she looks down form under her feet. All that was left were shattered remains of the wind chime. Uma looks down at the remains of her wind chime and tears begin to form and roll down her eyes.


Una tries to console her sister "It's okay, don't cry" she turns to the boy and whispers "Can you make her another one?"

Arcturus stared at them. And stared. And stared. "Are you guys serious? Of course I can make a better one, don't be insulting..." He rolled his eyes at them. The bad quality quartz, uneven surface, and extremely fragile craftsmanship. "Sapphire, aquamarine, emeralds, amethysts, morganite, ametrine quartz, spinel, or even color-changing gemstones. Alexandrite even changes color from green to purple depending on the light. And there are different types of quartz; orthoclase, rose, rutile, citrine, smoky, and strawberry." he turned to stare at the twins, his eyes blank and questioning their sanity at asking the whether he could make another one or not.

Uma begins bawling extremely loud she was in utter despair. Una tries to console her sister, turns again to the boy "We don't need a gem and quartz lesson we need another one can you make it or not?" She knew that they will never get to leave if Uma doesn't get another one, her Magpie Syndrome (affinity with shiny things) was unbearably constant. "I will pay you 4000 Ghaiz to make another one and give us logging for the night." She glared at the boy with determination, she hated loosing money but she hated seeing her sister sad much more.

'I said in the first sentence that I could make one." Arcturus replied flatly. He didn't really need to be bribed. "I'll give you a free one, take your pick." he rolled his eyes at them, he had a bunch of random ones hanging around his cave. Anymore of little random tinkling objects and things around his room, he would tripped and die because of one. "Just follow me," he sighed, navigating through the twisting tunnels, going to his set of two caves with quartz pieces embedded in the walls.

"Wernod....." Cylin thought for a bit, trying to match a visual with the word. "Is it really as beautiful as they say?" she asked, suddenly remembering that Wernod was always known to be very beautiful, though the sibling have never seen it themselves. The two gradually neared the house.

Una was shocked by this rude boys well... kindness. She follows the boy dumbstruck pulling her still teary sister behind her. The twisting maze engulfing them, wow these tunnels are extensive even I got confused a few times Una thought. Uma looks up when they stand near two caves with a ring of glittering quarts around it. "How pretty" she whispered, she smiled a little.

"Thank you for the compliment." Arcturus gave a rare smile to the twins, while disabling the traps he'd set around his cave. The last time someone stepped into his cave, they had ended up being hung upside and splattered with tar. After he successfully disabled the traps, he mentioned for the twins to step in. "Go ahead, I will need a moment to reset the traps around the entrances. If you are hungry, dinner will be up in a second."

Una walks in still completely dumbfounded by this kindness. She and her sister had never really seen or felt true kindness from anyone other than each other and their pets. Even with Papa Oss, the mafia boss who killed their parents, he didn't spare their lives because he was kind he only wanted Uma's power. Every time he would shower them with gifts it came at the price of Uma's predictions or painful testing. This was new to her and she didn't know what to do.


Uma tuns back to the boy, she tugs a piece of his clothing to get his attention and looks up at him. "Thank you" as she smiles the leftover tears she had softly roll down her cheeks.

Arcturus froze. He didn't know what to do about crying girls. "Your-r welcom-me?" he stuttered, interesting an interesting shade of red, making Bellatrix fly circles around his head, and nipping him on the nose. "Feel free to take anything you want," he gestured to the mass of glittering decorations. "Most of them do nothing but gather dust in this place, and cause bodily harm to me." he grinned at them, while walking over to the small stove settled in the corner. "Do you two want anything to eat? I'm not sure if it'll be to your tastes though."

Una was a little startled by the boy's question "Umm, anything sweet" Una was really tense. She was out of her element and didn't know how to act. Can we really trust him? What if he works for one of Papa Oss enemies? I am so stupid how can I trust this random stranger?


Uma follows the boy further into the cave and leans over to her sister, who was looking like she had second thoughts. "He's really nice Una," she smiles at her sister and then walks over to the mass of sparkly wind chimes. "Beautiful" she smiles and closes her eyes feeling the energy from the crystals, each one felt a sense joy and love. He must like working with jewels, I feel a deep love from the Amethysts and Sapphires. She looks at the chimes and sees a onyx, rose and rock crystal quartz chime with a clear moon stone center. The moon stone shimmers in the iris of her eye she slowly plucks the chime and carries it over to where her sister was sitting completely entranced.

"So, sweet bread rolls with fresh cream and fruit, baked russet apples stuffed with nuts and honey, and spiced pears? Probably another pie coming up for dessert." Arcturus called out, musing over what he would cook for dinner. "Do you guys also want some cider from last week? They're carbonated because of the date, but not enough to be anything alcoholic." He rolled up the curtains covering the alcoves in the wall, taking out the necessary materials. He dug out the cider from his cellar, which was pretty much a cubed area underneath the ground, covered so the things which stay cool.


He smiled as he saw the sisters admire the onyx and crystal quartz windchime. "You can keep that, it'll stay in good conditions for a long time, and won't break easily."

"Yeah. It is. Not the biggest place in the world, but it has a very beautiful scenery and its very peaceful. I used to live there with my husband, but sadly he...died in an animal attack." Although she didn't show it, Ashley was a bit scared of being a Single Mom, but decided to try her best because she has wanted to be a Mother for a long time. As they neared the house, Ashley started feeling back pain, but it wasn't too bad. However, to ease the irritant pain, she relieved the pressure by placing her hand where it hurt.

Una couldn't say anything she's really amazed. She finally croaks a "Yes" to the boys question about the cider. As Uma sat down with the wind chime she picked out she was mesmerized by the moon stone its glistening seemed to focus her thoughts. "The moon, the night? This will cause a mighty fright, some day soon will come this plight, will it even be tonight?" she whispered. Una turns to her sister realizing that she was seeing something again. She shakes her sister "Uma what do you see tell me, what's going on?" Uma snaps out of her trance, "Huh? Why are you shaking me?" Uma says confused she didn't remember what she said. Una sighs, "its nothing, sorry" she couldn't take any more weird for one day.

Arcturus nodded, pouring the cider into hambergite cups. Hambergite looked the same as glass, but due to the fact that there was barely any sand around Nordio, hambergite replaced it. Dropping a few pieces of chilled quartz into the cups, it was the substitute for ice. "Here you go, I'll go get the dishes." He didn't pay to much attention to the words the twins were saying, too busy dragging a hungry Bellatrix away from the food while preparing it onto plates. "Here." Arcturus placed the food on the table in front of the twins, hugging Bellatrix tightly so she wouldn't go leaping on the food.

Cylin lowered her head at the news of Ashleys husband. "Umm... I'm sorry for your loss... and for bringing up any painful memories, " she said apologetically. Cylin understood what it meant to lose somebody important, but it was possibly different from Ashley. She knew her husband had died, yet Cylin wasn't sure If her family was even alive. In the midst of thinking, something caught her eye. She noticed Ashley had begun holding her back. Wondering if she was in pain, Cylin moved a bit closer to get, lending Ashley her shoulder.
