But the demon didn't find that enjoyable, in fact, he wanted me to live longer especially with the curse of the nogitsune because he found no joy in it to let me die. He wanted the fear of it all. So he possessed me, and we killed and burnt my village to the ground. I got stronger because of him, i consumed souls, yada yada yada. He let go of me. He spent centuries with me, waiting for me to find joy in life to rip it from me. Before I met my late wife, he gave up on me and preferred my company instead since even demons get a bit lonely." He smiled at the memory before shaking his head, "dumbass demon."

Actually turned into a drug bust." Dei-Loki frowned. "And my mam. . . isn't happy about any of it, but as long as she thinks I'm doing it outside then it's. . . not okay, but better. She's the scariest out of both of them. At least with dad I've seen him angry because of how unstable he tends t' be, but my mam rarely gets that way and when she does it's. . . crippling, really."
