He finally reached the medbag, finding the girl with a trail of blood. Leo jerked his arm which transformed his arm into a small cannon. It shot a green beam at the small girl. It started to make her wounds regenerate and also have her produce more blood at a faster rate to recover the blood she lost. Soon enough Leo disconnected and his arm transformed back into a regular arm. He took the girl and carried her on his shoulder. He started off, looking for the entrance he made.

"...Is it too late to activate some interior turrets?"


"Haha. I planned to loose a few shots after them anyway, and ignore any tracking beacon he puts on the ship on purpose. I know how you enjoy your little bouts of combat with others."

She groaned half passed out as the man healed her then picked her up and threw her over his shoulder

"Easier than I thought..." Leo smirked under the masking armor. He climbed out of the aircraft slowly. He examined the altitude there were at, carefully. "I'll make it." Leo spoke. He dropped out of Hope towards the ground. He entered a freefall shortly. After a couple seconds, he tighten his grip on the girl to keep her secure. Leo centered his balance, feet down. Seemingly he looked like he was flying, but it was mostly his suit.

As Artemis entered the cockpit of Hope, it's exterior turrets swiveled out of their slots, aiming downwards towards the flying figure. "Plasma Lances active. I really love this part." The female voice, finally heard out loud, sounded pleasant, and vaguely synthetic. "Thanks Blizzard. Keep tabs on the city's network for me. See if there's anything interesting about our mysterious vigilante, especially his weaponry. We might as well earn our title of 'exploratory'." Meanwhile, the turrets glowed with a bright orange energy, tilting onto the figures flight path, loosing bolts of plasma towards him, all of them designed to miss, but come close enough and scattered enough to look like they were attempting to hit him. The bolts struck buildings and streets below, seeming to miraculously miss all civilians.

Then suddenly, energy pulsed at his feet. He was hovering and he stopped falling. He was 5 feet from the ground now.

Mia screamed when she awoke to see them launching for the ground

Lexxy nodded smiling at him "That's probably a good idea" she tried to act ok but you could see in her eyes that she was exhausted. She gently pushed open the door to the room and watched him carefully "We should watch a movie" she smiled sheepishly. She longed to just cuddle up in his arms, something she had never got to do before, with anyone.

Lexxy blushed slightly not being able to pull her eyes from him but smiled sweetly when he kissed her cheek. She moved over making room for him to sit on the bed with her taking off her hoody so she was wearing a tank top, scars lAacing around her arms

Once river got the movie going he walked over and climbed onto the bed next to her and wrapped his arms around her as he relaxed and pulled the blankets over them both. "God today was stressful." He said with a small chuckle to her. He couldn't help but glance at her scars every so often and wonder how she got them, but he knew that it would be like asking to get slapped if he asked her about them.

Even though his fingers slid roughly over the lines of scars the touch was comforting making her smile. She shifted her eyes up to him "They wouldn't even make it to hell if you got a hold of them" she chuckled slightly. Maybe one day she would tell him the whole story, but for now she felt it wasn't the best idea.

Lexxy giggled slightly "alright sleepy head" she was gonna go for a shower but couldn't move with his arms wrapped tightly around her. She relaxed against his chest looking around the room before looking at him again smiling, he looked so peaceful.
