LEYN

Leyn had sat out of battle of champions this year as he had the past two. He preferred more 'intellectual' displays of magic like Siege Defense and never bothered with BoC. He only ever observed the finals because they were the only ones worth watching and he had far more important things to do like his work as the house leader of Geomancers than watch rookies and weaker students try their hand in the earlier rounds of the competition. This year like always he had observed the finals while doing his work, ignoring the banter of the other students over who they thought would win. He would cast it a few glances to see if anything good was happening but was met with disappointment when each time he turned to see what the ruckus was, it was just another small fry getting wiped out by the competition. The only good parts were almost always near the end of the competition and even then he'd find his work more interesting. However, curiosity would always draw his attention to it every year. He had been startled when he heard panic from the students looking up to see dark skies and a thick mist swallowing the arena grounds. The glimpses the screen showed of the remaining contestants had displayed panic, fear and urgency. He soon understood why when he saw a hooded figure holding a scythe appear on screen. A reaper. And it wasn't just one. The sight of the creature had him unsettled and all around him panic began to spread, creating chaos. Anyone with a brain knew just how powerful reapers were and an army of them were descending upon the academy. It was enough to drive some of the younger students to tears and borderline insanity. He'd made a dash to the courtyard in time to see Kuroha take his place beside Ivan, a reaper's scythe on his back as he inspired the other students to fight. All around him, confidence levels were rising, words of 'we can do it' and 'we'll stop the reapers' reached his ears. He scoffed at them. Kuroha's strategy wasn't bad but not everyone at the academy was battle smart of strategic. Some relied on pure brute force and power to beat their opponents. There was not an ounce of strategy in the way they fought. There was no way some of them would make it back from fighting the reapers even if they were in groups because some simply didn't have the intelligence. He had joined in the meeting for the strategists but barely made a comment. There was little they could do in this situation not that anyone of them were going to simply accept the cold harsh reality of the situation just like that. Especially when Kuroha had somehow managed to kill one though it was probably just luck or another reaper's doing. He wasn't that stupid. Logic always prevailed. And logic told him Kuroha didn't have the capability to kill a reaper and this was a battle they had basically no chance of winning because some idiot somewhere was sure to mess up and cause panic rather than inspire hope. Then it happened. The Dark Overlord's voice rang out clearly in everyone's heads. Earth, water, gravity, plant and of course dark. His allies in this upcoming war they were now caught in. He felt a burning pain on his right shoulder and saw a mark form. A mountain of Earth. Everyone around him was talking, unsure of what to do. Listen to the Dark Overlord and follow his orders or disobey. Leyn didn't even have a shred of doubt. The most logical answer was to join the Overlord. It wasn't even a question. He cast a glance at the student who had asked him what he made of the situation and what he was going to do. "I think it's pretty damn obvious what we should do so I can't understand why all of you are so wishy washy and uncertain. I'm doing what the Dark Overlord said. I'm joining them as should the rest of you if you value your lives." Silence fell over the room at Leyn's confident declaration. He pulled his war hammer over to him and headed over to the door. "I suggest you make up your minds quickly. I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of those scythes."

Once Adrienne had gotten a distance away from all of the other students and teachers she felt someone grab her arm and she panicked more.She struggled some before realizing that it was Ivan who grabbed her.She listened to him talk about his mark and when he showed her she almost had a panic attack.I can't believe something like this is happening,why would the Overlords do something like this?Adrienne turned so that she faced Ivan and she gripped the place where her mark was since it had started to burn again but once it stopped she was shaking violently.She looked up at him and breathed in before speaking."I don't know and I have no one to help me and I'm so scared."She started crying after that sentence and she used her left hand to wipe tears away as they came down her cheeks.
@Shog
(Just in case you didn't see my post @Shog )

"Just calm down," Ivan said. "If we can't think clearly about this we will get thing accomplished. Look, I can help you. We don't know everything, so our best move is to wait until we have more information. If we keep this up for too long it will look suspicious, so I'm going to leave now. Just remember I'm on your side." He tried to give her a reassuring look before turning and running into the castle. The strategical meeting was probably over by now, but he might be able to get something out of it.

"Yo, Ivan!" A familiar voice called. It came from a Gravamancer that didn't like Ivan at all. "I've wanted to do this for a long time, and now I have an excuse!" He began swinging a solid metal ball in a circle, gaining more velocity with each rotation. Ivan reached for his trident but was suddenly pushed out of the way. It was Mr. Dixon, the Umbramancer potions teacher.

"Ivan, pull up your sleeve," he commanded. Ivan did as he was told and tried not to hesitate as he did so. "Just as I suspected. He's with us, so don't you dare attack him! If the Water Overlord marked him then he believes Ivan will fight with us."

Ivan tried to make sense of it all. Even for him, this was a lot to take in. He just hoped no one noticed the mark on his arm that might want to fight him later, like Kiroha or Luna.

"Huh... Stay put...? Like I'd do that..." Kuroha said to himself, having just gotten fully healed by some talented healers. "Seems like some people are already thinking of turning their backs on us," Kuroha said out loud and in an annoyed tone as he walked out and toward the center of a crowd of students, sporting the reaper's scythe in right hand and over the shoulder like he owned it. "You know, I remember a little saying my grandfather used to say... He who walks on others, trips on others." Kuroha said, spinning the scythe in one hand with relative ease due to it being just a staff but with a blade on the end. "Well, either way, I come back to any traitors to the school and I'll personally kill them all." Kuroha said, walking on out of the area and going straight toward the entrance/exit of the academy.

Upon arriving there and about to exit the premises to fight, Kuroha was met with a familiar face; Mikeru. "So, it seems like you're going to go and get yourself killed just to prove a point," Mikeru said calmly. First set of words she'd ever said to Kuroha without some sort of psychotic inte- "Keheheh.... Kuroha, if you're gonna try and get yourself killed, I'll kill you here myself!" Mikeru said with an insane giggle. Scratch the 'without some sort of psychotic intent' bit, she was just suddenly out to kill him. "Mikeru, you really think you can kill me? Besides, I'd thought you to be the type protect me with your life out there in battle, not kill me so I don't get out there." Kuroha said, though just got a psychotic smile instead.

"Kuroha, my dear... You know I can't let you die at the hands of those reapers... I'd much rather kill you now and eat you so we can become one...! We'll be together forever...!" Mikeru said, spinning out her giant axe and slamming it on the ground, the energy she'd pulled back then hit to a sudden stop generating waves that shattered the surface below the weapon. "I can guarantee you one of us will die here...!" Mikeru said insanely, Kuroha sighing as she did. "Mikeru, you're lucky you fall under the category human being, because if you didn't I'd have probably killed you by now... Very well then, have it your way. You'll just be among their prisoners anyway, given the fact you don't fall under the four mentioned elements."

Kuroha turned around, about to walk away when Mikeru shot a makeshift titanium knife of sorts straight into Kuroha's shoulder. "Eheheh... Kuroha, I don't think you'll be going anywhere...!" Kuroha shook his shoulder back, the knife falling from the spot it'd tried sticking into. It'd left a little bit of a hole in the cloak, but Kuroha himself was uninjured as Mikeru'd clearly held back to save all fun for the fighting. "Mikeru, I always knew you were insane but this...? Very well then. I'll show you why I'm the president of this school." Spinning the scythe forward once more, the reaper scythe would be his weapon in this fight as it seemed more fitting the situation. He'd already given himself the role of the one who by himself killed a reaper, so might as well use the scythe itself while he's at it.

Adrienne nodded and watched as Ivan ran off towards the castle.She dried away her tears and she waited a few moments before going back towards the castle as well.Luckily for her she played the low key card since she got enrolled so most people hopefully didn't know who she actually was but a few choice people did and they would not hesitate to kill her since they knew what house she was in.I can't lurk in the shadows because that will put a big target over my head so my best bet is to act like I wasn't marked and avoid the people that know me from the other houses.

Po stood there, watching as students all around her frantically looked at their arms. Some whispered about ways to ignore it while others were quick to accept the offer, tramatizing the other students already. Po started to panic, scared. What about Kaia. Where is she? Is she struggling? Po continued to walk around, quickly spotting the purple haired girl. Tears filled her eyes, on the brink of spilling over.

"KAIA!" She shouted, running over to the girl. She quickly pounced on her, wrapping her eyes around her neck. "Kaia kaia kaia kaia" she repeated over and over again, tears running down her face. "Kaiaaaaaaa! Let me see your arm right now!" She pouted, letting go and holding up kaia's arm. Her heart dropped to her stomach. She quickly let go, taking a step back. "...you've been marked." She whispered. She just stared, unsure what to do at this point. After a few seconds she took a deep breath. "I'll always be by your side Kaia." She said confidently, taking her other half's hands. "So, whatever side you decide to join i'll join as well. I refuse to leave you." She then let go, taking the flower crown from her head and placing it on Kaia's. "I promise." She nodded, smiling.

The girl, who had the mark just below her right shoulder pushed Maka away from her, since she was heading to the castle for protection. Maka was just standing there for a few minutes, since she didn't know what to do. "Hey look, it's the Mole Queen. Let's kill her, since she is just useless geomancer compare to us, aeromancers." said the aeromancer bully, as he and his aeromancer gang started to attack her. Maka was running towards the castle, since she needed help. "HELP ME! I am being attack by a group of aeromancers bullies, because I am a geomancer!" said Maka, since she can't take on a group of bullies by herself. 'I feel like I am useless here, since at least, some of the people here know what they should be doing here.' thought Maka.

Marissa fell to her knees as she heard the dark overload's voice fill her mind. The sudden intrusion had caused her pulses to break sending a surge of electricity through her body shocking her in the process. Marissa held her head I between her hands as she frantically looked around. The aftershock of the surge and the message broadcasting in her mind affecting her sight, thought process, and most importantly spiking her fear. When he talked about the inability to escape, Marissa's panic grew to a threatening level.

It was especially when he spoke the words
"My allies in this fight, are the elements of Earth, Plant, Water, and Gravity. Those of you that have been marked, you may now reveal yourselves." Marissa was terrified what it would mean since she was not one of those elements. -No- she thought -This can not be real. I have to get out of here.- Marissa's irises seemed to start sparking as she slowly stood up, scanning her surrounding and realizing she was near the edge of the school grounds. At the same time Marissa spotted two reapers heading her way. -I have to get out of here- Was the last thing that Marissa's logical brain truly thought before going into a forced stasis as the reapers approached her. With a blank face except for electricity pulsing through her and around her eyes, Marissa concentrated the rest of the electric pulses down to her feet making her speed double as she sprinted towards the academy borders, reapers close behind her.

As she came to the borderline which was very close to the castle, Marissa stopped in her tracks and turned to face the two reapers. With her energy running out fast Marissa growled in frustration. Although she wasn't in the mind set to plan an attack, Marissa's instincts knew well enough that this fight would not end well. In a last minute attempt to live, Marissa raised both of her hands to the sky each one a ball of lightning forming at the palms. With every last bit of her energy, The balls of lightning soon became two streams that pierced the sky. After a few seconds though, Marissa fell to the ground and had hoped that someone near the castle got her signal before completely blacking out.

((Sorry that this sounds centralized some. I just needed a place to put Marissa.))

Blake had been in the library when the Dark Overlord's message rang in his ears.

"I see, so this is the plan father has been acting like a mere child for," Blake said with a slight smile on his face.

"Well I wouldn't want to go against something father has poured his heart into. Plus this world could use some change for the mistreated ones like us."

Blake placed the book he was reading down and stood up as he felt a burning feeling on his shoulder. Rolling up his sleeve, he gazed at the newly branded symbol and recollected what the overlord had said.
"My allies in this fight, are the elements of Earth, Plant, Water, and Gravity. Those of you that have been marked, you may now reveal yourselves."

At the thought of this Blake sighed. Sure he didn't mind being marked to show who he really was, nor did he care about joining the Overlord. What mattered to him was simply that he might have to fight against or even kill Marissa, which was a thought he never hoped to come across. Still Blake knew that sitting here would do nothing to his benefit, plus he had to go find other elementalists on his side so he could get a better scoop about the situation. Blake stood, adjusting his mace and add chain into their proper sheaths before exiting the library. Just his luck, Blake immediately spotted a familiar face entering a door in the hall he was in.

"Ah, Leyn my good friend is that you? I'm sure you have heard the news as well haven't you," Blake said with a smug smile on his face.

@Xeyran (hope this is cool with you.)

LEYN

Leyn looked up and nodded at Blake, walking over to him. "Heard it. You won't believe the idiocy I've witnessed. The school is in utter chaos and they're all acting like barbarians or wimps. Thank god I finally found someone sane who speaks my language." He cast a glance behind him as yet another fight broke out between students, rolling his eyes. "So what are you going to do from here?"

@rosamortelle

(Just a quick note for everyone. Just because you fall under the element of the Rulers, does not automatically mean you are marked.)

Blake mentally laughed at the fight occurring near them. "The absurdity they let off is almost too comical. I mean the situation isn't even that complex to begin with. A war has begun, one that will change our world forever. If you join the Overlord's ranks your free to leave and join in whatever bounty they collect, refuse and your stuck here for who knows the length of time. I mean there is no need to lash out at a proclamation like a wimp or barbarian as you described." Blake took a moment to pause as he stepped out of the way of a floramancer chasing a ferramancer. When Leyn asked what his next actions were, Blake's smug smile returned.

"Naturally I am going to take the logical path of this predicament and join the Dark Overlord's side."

Blake crossed his arms and leaned against the wall next to the door as he turned to look back at Leyn.

"And you? What is your plan of action Leyn?"

@Xeyran

Leyn smiled. "Of course I'm not about to turn stupid all of a sudden and go against logic. Same as you, I've made the right choice. I'm glad you and I will be on the same side. There would be nothing I would hate more than to see you of all people turn stupid." He avoided yet another two students engaged in a duck and goose chase, frowning at them as he walked off in the opposite direction. "I'm going to make myself a little fort to get away from all this while I wait for the next set of instructions. Want to join me?"

Kaia had only just made it outside, her anger calmed down enough to keep from making things and people float around her, as she found they often didn't appreciate that, when she heard Po's shout. Immediately, her eyes widened, and her head swivelled around to look for the small girl. She didn't have to look long, as she was nearly knocked off of her feet when Jampo practically tackled her. She blinked, then chuckled, carefully maneuvering her wrist so it was more behind her, both so Po wouldn't accidentally hit it, and she kind of didn't want Po to find out about it and worry. She smiled past the uneasiness flopping around in her stomach, patting Po on top of her head. "Don't cry, we'll figure it-"

Her sentence dissolved into a hiss of pain, and she tugged her hand out of Po's grip, holding her wrist to her chest, before she caught herself and dropped it to her side again, forcing the pained look off of her face. "I, ah, well, it's no big deal. I wasn't really, erm, notified, about this." She stammered, her hand absently rubbing the small mark burned into her skin.

Jampo's words after elated her, and a wide smile stretched across her lips, but, the expression didn't exactly reach her eyes. She glanced around to make sure no one was listening, and the expression disappeared just as quickly as it'd come, replaced with anger. "Thank you, Po." She said, appreciation flickering across her face for but a moment before it left again. "But, I'm not fighting for anyone but myself and my friends. I... Well I haven't exactly figured out how I'm gonna do that, without getting killed or whatever, but I'm going to figure it out. There's gotta be someone else in my position that we can talk to, but it might be hard to find out for sure, since we've gotta be careful of idiots who will take advantage of the circumstances..." Her rambling trailed off, and she looked to Po, eyebrows furrowed. "What do you think?"

(Sorry it took so long =3= Classes started back up again today, and to say I'm exhausted would be an understatement.)

@Halcyon

Ivan wasn't having much luck figuring out what was going on. It just seemed like everyone was just using this as an excuse to fight each other over person reasons. This whole war thing didn't seem to be going well so far, but maybe this was expected or even encouraged. Maybe if he found someone he trusted…

His thoughts were interrupted by another voice entering his head, along with the mark on his arm burning even more intensely. I've been watching you for a while now, and I know you want this. I am the Water Overlord and you are the only one hearing this. I have seen you fight for the same reason every water being is; equality. No more shal we be looked down upon. You have been working at that goal already, but you alone can not make the difference. A series of images flooded his head, all of which involved one element trying to exact power over the water beings. Some of the images were from his own memory. We have suffered long enough. Join us and bring your fight to a level that can make a difference.

Just as fast as it came, the voice was gone. The images, however, still lurked in his recent memory. Ivan now felt like he understood and he was just too weak to understand it earlier. This mark was a blessing and an honor and anyone who didn't understand that was just another enemy. He stood a little prouder and ripped off the sleeve of his short to reveal his marking. He would fight, and he would win.

@Kiyoko Tomoe and anyone else. I just figured the interaction between Ivan and Kuroha would be interesting, though not quite sure where you are in your fight.

(Sorry I took so long to start, I just got back from a trip.)

Thorn was leaning against a shelf as he shut the book in his hands, "Well that was a bust.." he said as he put the book back where he had gotten it. He sighed, deciding to take a break and release some stress at the training room. Where was everyone else at.. It was quieter than usual He thought to himself as he stuffed his hands in his front pockets and began walking.

He sighed regretting his choice of skipping this years battle of champions as he was bored out of his mind. Just watching the battle was annoying him, he'd rather do it himself than watch others.

As he began walking out of the library a booming voice appeared, he quickly scanned around to search for the source of the voice, but found nothing. He was on alert now, listening to what the voice was saying. Dark Overlord.. War.. Marked.. What does it mean mark-- at that moment his right arm began to have a burning sensation. His left hand gripped his right arm as he felt a mark appeared under his sleeve. What does all this mean.. He thought as he let go of his arm and continued walking as if nothing had happened.

After the strategist's meeting was over Robin looked around for Luna, but she was nowhere to be found. In fact, Robin had not seen her twin since the reapers appeared. The gravamancer began frantically running around the academy looking for Luna. Their mother was an umbramancer, and Robin feared that Luna would try to find her. After talking to several students and teachers, Robin learned that Luna had last been speaking to Ivan. When Robin found Ivan, she began to ask if he knew where Luna was, but a shrill scream interrupted her. Robin knew that scream: Luna. Somebody had hurt Luna, and they were going to pay.

She sprinted to the door and ran outside. Some students she didn't know (NPCs, unless someone else wants to find Luna) were carrying a limp brunette. Even from this distance, Robin knew that it was Luna. "We tried to stop her," a 3rd year boy was saying. "The reapers got her," someone else said.

The mark on Robin's shoulder burned as she processed what had happened. She was suddenly glad that she hadn't revealed the mark. There was no way that she would work with the Dark Overlord and other Rulers. Not after they took Luna away...

By now, panicked students were gathered around where Robin was kneeling next to Luna's body. She closed Luna's now dull-green eyes and stood up. She should say something, but wasn't sure what. She looked around for a familiar face.

@Shog

@Anyone else who wants to get involved

Xel had spotted Kuroha walking away from school grounds towards the reapers then the flashes of lightning that came from the ground but he hadn't moved till he heard the scream. If it was just an ordinary day at the academy, he would have ignored it but today was anything but ordinary and it snapped him out of his lazy mood.

He leapt down from the roof, and found the lumamancer from BoC finals lying on the ground, a reaper hovering over her. He burst forward, using his magic to increase his speed and just.managed to pull her out of the way and back into the safety of the school grounds, wincing as his right hand shot up to his left shoulder. The reaper had gotten his shoulder with his scythe and his hand was now soaked in blood. "I had to chose the worst day to go looking for trouble." He spat as another student ran over to assist him. He used his left hand to feel for a pulse. Nothing. "She's dead. Too late. This stupid wound, all for nothing. What the hell was she thinking?"

Xel cursed as he continued to grip his shoulder. It was unlikely that he would be able to get a healer to heal him at this time. Hydromancers were with the Dark Overlord and Lumamancers were probably being attacked. So much blood lost in one day. He cursed as another student ran over. He barely heard the question and the response as the pain numbed his senses. "The reapers got her." He informed the girl as he felt himself losing consciousness. "Are you okay?" Xel barely registered the words as he slumped over where he sat. It was taking all his energy to simply stay awake.

@Kestrel (I hope this is okay. Tell me if i should change anything about the reaper and finding Luna.)

(It's great @Xeyran )

Robin saw Xel with the limp body of Luna. His shoulder was injured, but frankly, she didn't care. Why did Luna have to be so reckless, worrying about their umbramancer mother? Xel looked on the verge of passing put, but she wasn't skilled enough in healing to much assistance. That was Luna's strong point. But now the shy, but intelligent and talented healer was gone. The truth finally sank in, and Robin began sobbing. Other gravamancers tried to comfort her, but she pushed them away. A teacher that Robin didn't know tried to take away the body, but Robin wouldn't let him. Those reapers and umbramancers were going to pay...

Xel tried to stand up. Bad move. He instantly slumped back into the ground. He had no energy and his vision was blurring. The people around had become nothing more than faint shades of colour and the words was nothing more than noise that worsened the throbbing in his head. Why did he have to interfere. If he hadn't he would be perfectly fine. He wouldn't be in this state.

Battle between Mikeru and Kuroha began quite fast, titanium foil flowing out of Mikeru's axe and forming about twenty or so small but durable and deadly knives. Mikeru began launching the knives at high speed toward Kuroha, knives flying everywhere and going in all directions while Kuroha dodged, being kept at a distance due to the way the knives were in his way. The knives all clearing out just a moment, Mikeru came right at Kuroha as Kuroha was upside-down midair from dodging knives. A swing of the axe later, Kuroha went flying back and across the ground quite violently, having barely avoided being cut in half thanks to the durability of the reaper scythe he'dd blocked with. Still, it was quite the hit, making Kuroha wonder just why this girl hadn't made it to the finals of the BoC.

"Sheesh... Your hits have power, I'll give you that..." Kuroha said, having rolled and sprung onto his feet at the end of his little flight. "I could've sworn I felt something... out of place though... What was that, a solid wall of energy hitting me along with your axe?" Kuroha questioned, spinning the scythe up and rotating it around, blocking the titanium foil knives that Mikeru had begun sending at him again. "Mikeru, you're really underestimating me, don't you think?" Kuroha said, vanishing though leaving the scythe spinning there a moment, creating a tornado that knocked the knives away and sent Mikeru flying back just a little; right into Kuroha's foot, to be exact, him standing on his hands and catching Mikeru with his heel hitting her back.

From the position they were in, Kuroha kept Mikeru moving upward by swinging his foot straight upward, pushing from the ground and pulling his left leg back proceeding to kick Mikeru in the back with his right leg, spinning around and pulling the scythe in with the wire he'd attached to it like he often times did with his staff. Catching the scythe, Kuroha swung it alongside his own motion, currently holding it backward so that the blade would hit Mikeru hard in the stomach and throw her down to the ground, but not fatally injure her by cutting in. spinning in a forward motion, Kuroha proceeded to drop down at Mikeru and throw a kick her way, though rather than hitting Mikeru, Kuroha's heel hit the large axe's handle.

Kicking off Mikeru's axe with his other foot, Kuroha landed a short distance away from Mikeru, meanwhile Mikeru having attempted swing her axe at him and then proceeded to stand up upon his distancing. The two of them were basically standing just as they were before Mikeru had initiated the fight with the use of several titanium foil knives, neither one of them really injured as though the fight had still yet to start. Mikeru prepared her knives once more, Kuroha preparing himself for basically the same thing to happen as it was obvious it would. Kuroha knew that, even if it were going to repat as it just happened, he was the one at a disadvantage due to not knowing much about Mikeru's fighting style, whereas she knew a lot about his.

((Aand... This fight clearly's going to have a lot of pause moments xD Oh well, more room for other peeps to come in and witness this fight, though I don't exactly recommend anybody try interfering as these two'd rip even a reaper to shreds in seconds just by looking at it xD ))

Leyn was close to rolling his eyes at the chaos that was unfolding on school grounds. The fights, chases, some people were even hugging each other. The Dark Overlord's words had been enough to tear down all law and order. His eyes scanned the crowd, looking for the perfect place to create his waiting room as he avoided and sidestepped the people around him. "Found it." A smile formed as Leyn made his way to an open area at present untouched by the idiots that surrounded him from all angles engaged in ridiculous, energy wasting clashes. It was as if the Dark Overlord had called forth their true nature.

Leyn focused on the ground before him and lifted his hand, raising it to form steps. As he ascended them, he formed a wall around them and raised all the steps inside the wall to form even ground. Another wave of the hand raised a seat and created a window. He stretched his arms as he moved over to it. "Now let's wait and see what will happen next. He looked out the window and scoffed when he spotted a small group gathered near the edge of campus grounds. There was a girl, lying perfectly still on the ground, eyes shut, another girl crying over her, a boy with a blood soaked shirt and a small crowd formed around them. He could easily guess the sequence of events that had occurred and it made him shake his head with a sigh. "If someone wants to die just let them. There's no point in playing the hero and trying to save such people because they'll waste all your efforts and get themselves killed afterwards anyway. The lack of logic being displayed is appalling." He shook his head as he glanced lazily out the window to see what else had happened on the school grounds.

The same pattern, and everything; Mikeru used the same pattern with her knives. Just like before, Mikeru came in to hit hard with her axe, sending Kuroha flying back once more and having had to block with the scythe. This time, however, Kuroha drug the scythe into the ground to keep himself from going too far. Big mistake, Mikeru having had rushed at him while his scythe was in the ground, making for Kuroha to let go of the weapon and dodge back to avoid being hit by Mikeru's axe. "Tch," Kuroha made the noise as he came to a halt a small distance from Mikeru. Mikeru dragged the axe at her side as she walked toward Kuroha, licking her lips like she were about to eat him alive.

"You heard the voice, didn't you...? If you go out there, you're dead... For that reason, I'll kill you myself and then we can become one... We can sit at the side of the overlords together as one, and well be happy forever!" Mikeru said in an insane tone, evil grin upon her face as she was about to achieve her form of love. "Dammit, it's times like this where I hate myself for putting all students, including those like Mikeru, in front of myself..." Kuroha said to himself, jumping once and then bouncing as he came down, as though off a trampoline invisible and in the air. He launched up a good ten to twenty feet, flipping back and bouncing horizontally to get past Mikeru, all the while seeming to teleport to each location he bounced from.

Bouncing behind Mikeru and then straight at her, he launched a kick at her back only to hit against the handle of her axe, which she'd placed behind herself. Pushing off of the axe, Kuroha bounced back up in the air and pulled in the scythe using the attached wire, letting it circle around himself as he spun, thus launching it right at Mikeru. This was it; Kuroha had decided he needed go all-out to beat Mikeru, and that meant expending every drop of his energy. Mikeru swung her axe up from stuck in the ground, using it to repel the scythe off to the side, which Kuroha pulled back in while landing on his feet. "Keheheh... Kuroha, you will be mine...!" Mikeru said with an insane laugh, Kuroha starting to really get pissed at her insanity.

Bringing the scythe up to his shoulder, Kuroha started running at Mikeru, springing up into the air and flying down at her with a kick prepared; no ordinary kick though, exactly what he'd done at the cliff previously except with less chance of self-injury due to more ability to protect his leg and foot, as well as not falling from all the way up the cliff. Swinging his foot down, the surface of the earth shattered where Mikeru stood just moments before, the girl having jumped back just as Kuroha threw the kick. Wind released alongside the cracking of the earth, cutting through anything in its way that wasn't a five-foot thick wall of steel. Kuroha was really putting his all into this fight from here on out.
