Realistic or Modern Ebzomix Virus

Alex carefully pull his knife from the dead zombies skull wiped it on a curtain and put it back in his pocket. "Yeah i think shes still on the roof there didn't seem any other safe way down from there other then through the house". Alex was glad to finally be talking to actual people rather then just himself. He picked his rifle back up and slung it over his back then looked at the blob of a zombie blocking the window. He saw the girl on the other side wave a little. He smiled and waved back. "hey guys look its the other girl, shes still on the roof and it doesn't look like she's hurt" Well minus all the bumps and bruises but it'd be strange to meet someone nowadays with out any Alex thought to himself. He had also noticed that the girl hadn't said anything he wondered why but decided not to bring it up yet and then went over to the dead zombie "i think we should try to get this guy out of the way so she can get through" and then grabbed the zombie by what was left of its shirt and pulled. There was a ripping noise and Alex fell back. He moved it a tiny bit but nothing to make a difference. He then sighed."this might take a while"

Sam silently giggles a bit to herself and shakes her head at the man, trying to tell him to stop and back up as she was going to attempt to tell him to tell him to go around to the front and she'd jump down, but then again how could she do that since she hadn't spoken in what felt like forever though it was only 2 in a half years or so since she last had spoken a single word. Sam then gets a smart idea and pulls out the black Sharpie marker she had sound in the house and writes 'Stop, go to the front of the house,' on the window in big black that actually looked really pretty in a way.

As Alex stood back up he saw the girl pull out a sharpie marker and begin writing on the window. Maybe she cant talk Alex thought to himself. Then looked at what she had written. The words were backwards from his point of view but he was able to figure out what they said. He nodded and and the group went back outside and around to the front. On the way out he noticed the room they had just been in looked like someone had slept in it. He assumed it had been the girl. When they got there he scanned the streets. They were empty. He then looked back up at the girl "you gonna jump ?" It was a pretty high jump. The house she was in was two stories high but he agreed that this would be the faster way to get her down. He then set down his book bag and rifle and positioned himself a ready stance to catch the girl if need be. He wasn't sure if she was just going to jump straight down or have someone caught her but either way he was ready.

Sam walked back around to the front of the house where she was sitting earlier and looked down at the man, he had his arms out like he was going to catch her, which was expected though she would have just jumped off, not caring really if she hurt herself, though this time she would accept his help, even if it was strange for her to jump into an unknown man's arms. With an eye roll to herself, she'd easily toss down her bag, not caring at all how rough it landed then she'd close her knife and drop it into her worn out boots then she herself jumped right off the roof without hesitation. She landed safely in the man's arms, which were quite strong, or so they felt to her, though she made no sound or showed no emotion that she was really even impressed. Sam wiggled her way from him arms and picked up her bag then put it back on, nodding a thinks to the man then pulling her knife back out of her boot.

Chattering and static sounds rumbling as the click of the walkie is turned on "This is Izaya" static "Walking along route 17 about 14 miles away from New Haven" static and the moans of a zombie "Damn I hope you hear this I'm on this channel all the time so if your a survivor goodluck in this piece of crap world" the moans of the zombie get louder and the walkie cuts off as he grabs one of his knives and hooks the blade into the zombies skull "I'm really tired of this" stopping by an empty RV checking out the inside "No food no water and little to no gas I can't get anywhere with this junk.......i hope someone heard me then again I hope it's not a group of people trying to kill me again" hiding out in the RV going through his backpack and taking a can of tuna out munching down on it peeking in and seeing that there are only 3 cans left "I really should check these cars but I need to hurry" taking a sip of his water and putting the cap back on before placing it back in the bag and heading back out.

Alex watched as the girl dropped her bag as though it wasn't important and then jumped into his arms. He was impressed by how quickly she jumped down. No hesitation whats so ever. She then wiggled out of his arms which he found amusing and grabbed her bag. Alright well i think we should all introduce ourselfs now that were all together and there doesn't seem to be any zombies nearby yet."I'm Alex" he said facing all of them. "i don't really have much to say about myself other then im a mechanic and incredibly good looking" He then grinned hopein to get some laughs.

Sam rolls her eyes at him. So he's cocky eh? Well then, seems like he could be a lot of fun. She thought to herself as she instinctively played with the knife. This involved running her index finger around the U.S. Navy symbol on it. Though the knife looked a little wore out, Sam would never let it go, it mean way too much to her, but before she got too lost in thought, she mentally shook herself and walked over to Alex and spelled out on his arm with her index finger the message: My name is Sam. Then offered him a nod as to say he could tell the others her name since she did not speak.

Alex nodded back to sam. Then he introduced her. "and this is sam for some reason she cant talk" He noticed she had been playing with her knife. He then looked at his small pocket knife and made a mental note to find a bigger one later. He would eventually run out of bullets so a good melee weapon was essential. He looked at his group as the rest began to introduce themselves. Hmm these guys seem pretty alright. while the rest of his group continued to talk he kept an eye out for any signs of trouble. He had a bad feeling about something for some reason. What it was he didn't know. I'm probably just over exaggerating he said to himself. He hadn't slept in quiet some time and last night when he had tried to get some sleep he only managed to keep his eyes closed for about two hours. He then locked eyes with the little girl that was with the other girl he had yet to meet. He smiled at her then pulled out something from his bag. Chocolate. He had no idea if it was expired or not but this morning he had broken off a piece and ate it. He was still alive and it tasted amazing so he offered it to the little girl. Chocolate... it had been so long sense he had it and it took him forever to find this bar. But it was only food after all plus it never hurt to be nice to others.

Finally arriving at New Haven he ducks and peeks around corners being extra careful not to be seen by anyone in the area including humans just to be safe "Damn this is a pain in the ass why is there so many fucking zombies here I thought at least the military would have taken out half of them when they were so trigger happy" turning a few more corners then finding a group of people in the distance but just thinking they're a bunch of zombies he grabs a glass bottle and tosses it a few feet away from them to lead them to the noise

Sam flips out her knife and raises it in a defensive position as she looks around for what could have thrown the glass bottle. She was already on edge, as just a few seconds ago it felt like that she was dealing with a zombie in a window. As Sam's eyes scouted the area, she could find no one that threw the bottle, they were either well hidden or maybe it was something else, either way a sound like that in a quiet place like this wasn't good. It was sure to draw the attention of zombies.

-Arayhia watches as Sam and Alex introduce each other, and she smiles at each of them. Watching them, she wonders why the girl doesn't talk. Arayhia hadn't talked in over a year before today, so her voice was a bit crackly. Maybe she couldn't, or jut didn't want to. To each their own, she muses. After they introduce each other, she chimes in. "I'm Arayhia. And this is my sister, Lily." She watches as Lily smiles at Alex. He begins russling threw his bag, before holding something out towards Lily. It's chocolate, she hasn't seen that since a couple months after the outbreak. She gestures to her sister that it's okay to take it. Arayhia gives her a stern look until Lily chirps out a quick "Thank you." Before giving the chocolate into her mouth. Arayhia smiles in amusement and voices another thanks towards Alex.-

Katrina smiled at Sam when Alex was introducing her. She seemed nice, and courageous as well. Jumping off of a roof without hesitation took some guts.

Right after Arayhia had introduced herself and her sister Lily, Katrina decided that it was her turn. "I'm Katrina," she said with a smile.

Suddenly, the sound of glass breaking nearby diverted her attention. She quickly withdrew one of her knives and crouched, lowering her center of gravity. She had learned that back when she took those self-defense classes. It was sure coming in handy these days.

Noticing the shattered glass bottle on the ground, she came to the conclusion that it couldn't have been a zombie. Why would a zombie throw a bottle a few feet away from where humans were standing?

Her eyes darted around, trying to see if she was right and it was another human.

Feeling a bit confused as to why they didn't move and reacted the way they did he came out of hiding holding up his colt just in case "Hey don't move please I really don't wanna kill anyone today" coming into they're view aiming

Katrina started when she heard the unfamiliar voice behind her. She quickly whipped around. There was an unfamiliar man walking into view. Seeing his colt held up in a non-threatening way, she relaxed and stood up straight again, sheathing her knife in the process.

"Hi," she said.

Sam eyed the man, curious as to who he was and why he though the bottle, though she made no one to correct her defensive position. She may have trusted Alex to catch her, but that didn't mean her guard was down for anyone. She stuck to her golden rule: Trust no one.

"Ah I am so sorry I was just bout to try and kill you all though I might have only been able to take out about 2 of you" putting his colt away and holding his hand out "I'm Izaya nice to meet you"

-Arayhia turns aroun swiftly, drawing a knife from her belt loop and grasping it securely. She looks around for the source of the thrown bottle. Looking around for a moment she watches a man walk into view, holding a gun up non threateningly. She makes no move to relax her hold on her dagger. She had no room for misjudgment, she had her sisters life in her hands as well we own. Though, she isn't rude, so she responds to his greeting. "Hello. I'm Arayhia, and this is Lily." She gestures to er sister strapped on her back.

Examining them all one by thinking to him self *I'm surprised they've survived this long with what they have I wonder if those gun really have bullets in them could I just kill them all now and take everything but that's not who I am...... Or is it* coughs a bit into his arm "do you guys have any type of plan at all? Well to keep living that is."

Sam's eyes never leave the man's, as she walked a tad bit closer to him and makes a walking motion with her index and middle fingers, as if trying to tell him her only plan was traveling.. Alone. She really had no interest in joining a group at all, as they would most likely slow her down. Sam's face was still emotionless, but her grip on her knife was a bit tight, the symbol on it digging into her hand as she lowered her other hand, the one that was making the walking gesture.

Peering into the girls eyes as if he was looking at himself he asked "How many living people have you killed so far" dropping his hands to the side placing them on his knives ready to strike at any time waiting for this silent girl to make a response to him. (Again sorry if this is short still on my phone)

Sam shakes her head as she refuses to answer such a question, though she had an answer it was just one she wasn't going to voice or try and write out. For now she'd keep to herself and tell no one anything about he if she could help it, that's just how she was. She didn't trust easy these days Did anyone? Sam lets out a small sigh, though her eyes still remain focused on the man's.

Taking her silence as a no "I understand the no trusting thing after all we just met and i'm bombing to with a few questions though if you guys are gonna survive i think to shouldn't go the way i can it's fill of zombies so we can only go forward for now but i guess you have you own plans am i right?" walking right past the girl getting a few feet away from them "Oh how i hope we meet again till then if you ever find a walkie i'm always tuned into Ch4 goodluck" waving as he gets farther away

Alex had a big smile on his face when the girl took the chocolate and thanked him he gestured towards his body "gotta keep my girlish figure or els you girl might loose interest in me" he joked then when he herd the older sister say thanks as well he said "ah no problem were all friends now right so doing nice things like this will be normal for us" Just the he herd glass brake near them. Alex quickly pulled out and aimed his rifle in the direction of the bottle. He wasn't aiming at anything in particular, he was just looking down the sights of his gun that is untill a strange man walked out holding what appeared to be a colt. The man has said don't move but alex was already aiming his gun at the guy . He herd Katrina say hello so he chimed in as well. "Hey there don't mean to be rude but could you lower your gun" alex wasn't sure what to make of this guy just yet. But he didn't seem like bandit or raider. That being said he wasn't going to lower his gun ether. Better to be safe then sorry alex thought to himself, plus if he turned out to be a good guy then I can't always just apologize. Alex's face was expressionless as he stared at the new comer through the sights of his .22 rifle

-Arayhai imediantly becomes a bit wary when he begins talking about how many people they've killed. She is definitely not disclosing that information. She takes a couple steps back and grasps her knife a firmer in her hand. Her eyes switch back between the group. He's insuating that I'm weak? I couldn't have been weak to survive three years. But with a baby, keeping in quiet and happy and alive? It bothers her a bit, but she keeps it hidden behind a neutral expression. Never give yourself away here nobody has no idea whether he's safe. It's almost laughable how he thinks he'd be able to take out two of us. Everyone that's survived this long is a force to be reconed with. A big mistake is underestimating, and might land him dead. Well it's his mistake. She watches carefully, waiting until he's out of sight to relax at all, though she keeps her knife in hand.
