Realistic or Modern Ebzomix Virus

"no im fine, really its ok" Alex said in a raspy voice. He refused the water and had her put it back in her bag. "one of us might need that later you shouldn't waste it on me" He patted Lily's head and reassured them that he would be fine. Alex then sat back down he was tired already. All he wanted to do in that moment was just lay there and stare out into the unknown but he had people to look after now so he couldn't afford to lose it just yet. He stayed on the ground siting but he was alert and noticed something big coming there way. "ah hey Arayhia please tell me im just imagining it but is that a huge monster of a zombie coming from down the street?" The earth began to shake with each step that creature took. Its eyes were pure white and it was at least 7 feet tall. It had huge deformed muscles and its rotting skin was covered in scars, calluses, puss and some other types of goo. It only wore pants and had bullets marks all over its chest which seemed to be covered in blood almost like he had previously smashed some poor soul to death and hadn't even bothered to eat it. It stooped about two miles down and sniffed the air. It wiped its head quickly in the direction and then bellowed a huge roar.

As Sam had been searching the top floor, she came to found that there was actually a lot of goodies, and somehow the top floor seemed to have a manageable amount of zombies in it as she took them all out without really having any problems, though there was a few rooms she refrained for touching as they looked way to rough to bother with. After searching around she came back out on the fire escape and looked out, her eyes widening when she saw the huge zombie. She'd seen one of them before, they were one of the first ones to turn which made them the worst to deal with. You could tell how old a zombie was depending on how much puss and kiss they had lost along with how built they got and they way their mind works. it was as if they didn't want to eat humans, they just wanted to kill them, it was strange but it was how they worked. Sam quickly ran down the fire escape, it rattling as she ran.

 

[Arayhia]

Arayhai turns to look were Alex is looking. Her eyes widen in astonishment. She's never seen any that big. The ones she's seen and killed looked like regular people. Looking back towards the fire escape she sees Sam racing down, she appears to have seen the same thing they have. Arayhia quickly pulls her daggers out of her belt loops, grasping both tightly in her hands adjusting her stance to best keep Lily out of range. Lily covers her ears when the huge zombie bellows. Her eyes tear up, because no matter how many monsters she's seen, this one is bigger and a lot scarier. Arayhia whispers to Lily quickly, telling her to plug her ears and close her eyes, and turns back as the zombie gets closer.

Alex reacted as quickly as he could. He grab Arayhai by the shoulders and said "listen to me i"m going to draw him away for a little bit then come back by taking a different route so he doesn't follow us i want you to take lily and get her in the building meet up with Sam and wait till i get back if it gets to crazy get out of here" He didn't even giver her enough time to response as soon as Arayhai opened her mouth to speak Alex was already running to the right of the building. He then stopped a few yard out aimed his rifle and sent a round into the chest of the Beast. It didn't even flinch. The bullet hadn't even gone through the skin the only reason the huge zombie was drawn to Alex was because of the noise his gun made. "come get me you piece of shit" Alex cursed under his breath and continued running. The big zombie ran like a gorilla slamming its fists into the ground and giving off an earthquake like vibration. God i hope this guy isn't fast As alex thought this he glanced back and saw that the monster was indeed fast and was even gaining on him. he was still a ways back but it was picking up speed and seemed to be in full rage mode.

 

[Arayhia]

Arayhia runs quickly to the fire escape and makes her way up to the roof as quickly as possible. Looking down from the building she sees Alex running down the street, the monster not far behind him. Looking around the roof for something to help she sees bits of debri. Bottles, bricks, broken glass. Picking up a bottle she tosses it down at the monster. It hits him in his shoulder and he stops. Looking around for the source of it, Arayhia throws the next thing she grabs, a peice of glass. She chucks it towards the zombie. She comtinues throwing things, trying to give Alex enough time to do something. She is oblivious to the blood trickling down her hand from the peice of glass.

Sam had no time to react at all really, she simply followed after Lily and Arayhia. Once she had gotten to the top, Araythia was throwing things and bleeding quite bad, so despite all the burning in her chest and lungs she sprinted over to the girl and grabbed her wrist hard enough to make her drop the the brick she had then she shook her head at the girl and gave she a stern look as she pointed to the blood on the girls hand, it now getting on Sam as well. Sam shrugged her bag off with a small sigh and opened it then rummaged around until she found her water bottle and bandage wrap, she knew she'd need a few other things for wrapping this, but sadly this was all she had to help the girl so it would have to work.

 

[Arayhia]

Arayhia swings around, looking at Sam in astonishment. What is she doing? Dropping the brick in her hand, she looks down at her hand. It's bleeding quite bad. She didn't even notice. She watches the girl wash her hand and bandage it. She uses her other hand to dig in her bag and give Sam the one of her water bottles for the one she wasted on her. She shoves it into the girls hand, she's not taking no for an answer. "Thank you, Sam." She smiles at the girl before looking down to see what's happening with Alex.

Alex was able to get a a little more distance between him and the Huge zombie thanks to his friends throwing things at it. He was running at full speed. He couldn't afford to stop and reload his rifle because of the huge zombie chasing him. He would bob and weave through the cars that were on the street. It seemed like this road had a traffic jam when the zombie virus hit. Alex kept running all the while the apartment building seemed to be getting farther and father away. He was considering just running until he lost the zombie but that might never happen. Just as he was deciding weather or not to turn around or keep going, a car landed right next to him. He fell back and was paralyzed for a second, then got back up quickly and turned to see another car coming at him. He manged to dodge it and pulled out his gun. With shaky hands he reloaded his gun aimed and shot the zombie right in the left eye. At this point it was only a few yards away and it roared another roar. The bullet seemed to do nothing more then anger the beast. It pounced at Alex and Alex rolled out of the way just in time. Alex dropped his book-bag and ran with everything he had towards a gas station with gun in hand. I don't wanna die not yet

 

[Arayhia]

Arayhia watches in horror as the beast throws a car towards him. She has to do something. Maybe she can distract it. Se just needs to get close enough. But not with Lily. She turns around and begins unwrapping the clothe that holds Lily on. After she gets it off she puts Lily down. "Lily, your going to stay here with Sam for a minute okay? I'll be right back." She kisses Lily on the forehead and turns to Sam. "Whatch her alright? I'll be right back I'm going to help."


Without waiting for an answer she runs down the fire escape, sprinting towards the gas station Alex wa running to. Arayhia is suddenly so glad she took track in school.

Sam blinks several times, as that had happened in quite fast manor that her brain was just now wrapping around it. With a small sigh, Sam would squat down so that she was face to face with Lily. She wasn't sure how to communicate with the child seeing as Sam didn't talk and she didn't think the child would read. Sam thinks for a moment on what to do, how to distract the small child, but she can't think of anything so Sam offers the child her hand to hold, perhaps it would comfort her?

 

[Arayhia]

Lily looks up at Sam, and shifts her big blue eyes to her hand. She reaches up her hand and lays it in Sams larger one. Her tiny fingers wrap around hers.


It takes Arayhia a couple minutes of dodging cars on the street but she is almost caught up with the beast. She crouches behind a car, panting a bit. She tries to come up with some way to help.

Alex made it to the gas station with the beast chasing after him he didn't stop but ran right in the building. Thinking quickly he thought about blowing everything including the huge zombie into oblivion. "alright no time to waste" Alex said told himself as he fumbles to reload his gun. He only had one bullet left the rest were in his bag. Look like im only gonna get one shot of this. Just then the zombie came crashing into the building that's when he noticed the other guy in a motorcycle helmet with him near the entrance. He was holding what looked like a meat clever covered in blood. Under normal circumstances he would have probably avoided this guy but seeing as there was a bigger threat. Alex pointed to the gas pumps and yelled "cover everything in gas I'll distracted him!" The zombie almost if on cue smashed the shelve of food next to Alex in an attempt to grab him. He manged to just barely grab Alex's jack and he threw Alex across the room. He hit the glass refrigerated door and then fell to the ground. Alex got up as fast as he could but he was hurting all over. He juked passed the zombie and barely made it outside as the huge beast continued to smash up the building in an attempt to find him. heh for a monster this guy has pretty bad eye sight. He then turned to see how it was going with the gas.

Alex saw the strange man with the helmet throw up a thumbs up indicating that he had covered everything with gas. Alex nodded in response and told him to start running. His plan was to shoot a metal object with his rifle from a safe distance away and cause a spark to ignite the fire. But as they started to run The big zombie saw them and roar as he started turning towards them. Alex didn't give him time to caught up though he quickly turned around and yell "hit the deck !" then shot an empty car and the place started to burn. Huh i kind of expected a big explosion he though to himself just then the place erupted in a big exposition. Fire and derbies flew everywhere Alex was thrown back a bit and landed on his back. Everything was burning now and you could hear the cries of pain from the zombie.

 

[Arayhia]

Arayhia watches from behind the car, her plan of helping him turned to nothing. She didn't care, only wanted to help Alex. The as station erupted in flames, the huge explosion blowing out windows near her, the ones in the car she was behind broke, glass rainf down and falling on her. She was glad he was safe and after the explosion, she ran over to see if he was alright. She went over to where he was lying on his back and crouched next to him."Are you okay?"

Alex stayed on the ground resting and enjoying the not haveing to run for his life. "Yeah I'm good" he laughed "that thing had no chance going up agensit me psh he didn't know who he was messing with" he said laughing and coughing at the same time. Then he saw the guy with the helmet pull out his clever "hey easy easy yeah she's with me" he said getting up as quickly as he could and getting in front of Arayhia in a protective stands. He then carefully extended his hand mine names Alez and this is Ariayhia thanks for the help back there you really saved my ass" alex had an awkward grin while saying this. He didn't know what to expect from this new guy a few mins ago he had found him covered in blood but he seemed ok right ? I mean he had helped him no questioned asked. Alex stood there in front Arayhia with his hand extended waiting to see what the strange man with the helmet would do.

Sam had watched the entire thing from the building, the fire then explosion. It was instantaneous and the after shock had hit her and the young child who held her hand. Without a single hesitation she pick the child up and put her on her shoulders then took off from the building, flying down the fire escape and on the ground, holding the child best she could. Sam wasn't really suited for running at all, it messed with her asthma, and could seriously cause her problems, but to her that didn't matter. What mattered was to make sure everyone was okay and that the zombie was gone. Within the next few seconds she'd begin to come into view of the others if they were looking, if not then they could most likely hear her boots slamming against the road.

Alex relaxed as Lazarus griped his hand and returned his gesture. He saw Sam running towards them from the corner of his eye and waved at her. She seemed to be carrying lily on her shoulders. He wondered if they were ok but something told him they were. They seemed to be ok from what he could see. "and there is the rest of my group running towards us now. are you by yourself or do you have others with you ?" Alex asked curiously. As far as he could tell Lazarus seemed friendly but he'd still be on guard sometimes people aren't what they seem to be. Sam then arrived and it seemed like she was out of breath. He helped her with lily and put her down gentle next to Arayhia.

Sam holds up a finger to Alex, as her lungs were on fire right now and she couldn't breathe. It sucked really but she turned from the group and walked over to the nearest wall. Once there she spread her hands across the the wall and leaned over, inhaling in deep breaths. This helped a bit, though she still felt completely out of breath and like she might puke. Running was a bad idea for her, especially since it made her feel just this bad and the she wasted little to no time getting there to see that everyone was fine.

 

[Arayhia]

As Sam runs up to them, she takes Lily and hugs her tightly. She doesn't like being away from her, even for a moment. She sees Sam walk over to the wall, it looks like she's trying to catch her breath. She takes her water bottle and walks over to Sam, Holding it out to her. "Here Sam,. Are you okay?" Arayhias quite worried. They've only known each other a short time but she is already attached.
