I live on the west, so I didn't really notice them, but I've noticed a severe slowdown on the site in many areas the past day or so. And does this mean I'm in? Or should I continue to drink? I think I'll drink anyways... though.

@RyuShura Accepted, but just as an FYI, the abilities you had explained as "blacksmith upgrades" could easily be defined as natural abilities given to you by the Marksman, especially considering most involve light, something an attribute of lightning quite easily provides. One thing though, Zeus Cannon would not be a suitable alias. The alias is supposed to be a very vague, subtle title, allowing Sentinels to refer and communicate with each other without Broken following the information trail. Zeus Cannon, though badass, would very easily pick you out of a crowd. "Oh, it's the one with the lightning gun, got it." Easy fix though, and I can help you brainstorm other ideas for aliases. "Retribution" sounds fitting for a char like hers. Also you're missing something in your other section, do some reading in the FAQ/Rules area to figure it out.


@AtlasAtrium Reinforced leather counts as armor. Otherwise, looks good to go. Consider yourself in once you fix that up.


@Mitchs98 Looks good. You're all set and ready to roll.


AS OF THIS CURRENT STATEMENT, THE ROLEPLAY WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING BLACKSMITHS. Also, characters using Attendants that have already been used will be held under higher levels of scrutiny because I put the diversity in there for a goddamn reason GOSH DARNIT.

@too much idea At its current state, I'm not sure that I can accept your cs. Though the substance of the character is there, and the requirements were met, the grammatical errors I'm seeing and the quality of your writing is a problem for a roleplay like this. The posts we'll be making/reading will be large and require an advanced fluency in English. It's nothing against you, I just have to make sure everyone participating is on roughly the same playing field.


@AtlasAtrium I'm waiting on one person to post his cs and then we'll be ready to get started. If he takes too long, we could honestly start early and just let the people who are late come in late. We don't have anything in the beginning of the plot that would make an issue of that sort of movement. We'll say if there's no cs by Wednesday I'll get a starting post up.

Let me know if you have any questions about the character, Survivors are one of the more tricky designs when it comes to the framework of their abilities. I'm actually looking into establishing a potential background relationship between Johnathan and another character, so if you'd be interested in that feel free to PM me.


ATTENTION EVERYONE ELSE


THE RP WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING WIP CS's. Mostly cuz they bother me. Those who have posted WIPs before this notice (aka like one person) fear not, you will not be penalized. This is just a personal tick really. Also, I will no longer be accepting characters with veteran backgrounds as Sentinels (Shy, you're not included in this rule either). I think almost all of the current accepted characters are veteran Sentinels, and I'd like to have a little blend of both if possible. Gives a nice varied dynamic.


Nothing against WIPs, I'd honestly just rather have people reserve slots and then edit in the entire cs rather than putting half of it in and finishing it later.


Final update: As soon as Shy gets her cs finished and cleared, I'm gonna throw up the first post. It's fat, it's ugly, and it's full of plot and other shit. Prepare yourselves.


Oh, final final update. I'm releasing the ban on second characters. Go crazy.
