EDIT: Okay, I changed the harbor to a river dock. Hope that is more in line ...

EDIT: Alright, changed her destination to Kernzah. Will try and get her moving to Gilfaryl once i get the free time to post @_@

Yep, there'll have to be some edits. But it's an easy fix. Just a quick name change here and there and you should be good. Sorry if they don't match previous expectations, but there's a reason for the placement. I promise.
 
Oh yeah, it's no problem! :D It's a nice map, too, well-drawn and all :)

This roleplay seems interesting. Is it alright if you give me a rundown on what this roleplay is about?
 
Long story turned very short:


The Dragons lived in the Higher Plane alongside the Gods when they suddenly were forced to take to human form and cannot transform into their Dragon states anymore. They have been coming to the Mortal Plane now for about 100 years searching for answers, and my character Slifer has finally found a lead. The other characters will eventually join up with them, and together they'll go on an adventure crossing the path of a dangerous cult with access to ancient and powerful magics that threaten to tear the Mortal Plane asunder. Along the way, this cult will raise powerful Dragons from the dead which will conflict with the Dragons that have come to the Mortal Plane. Epic battles will ensue, etc,. etc,.


That's about the gist of it.

I must ask everyone for some extended patience over the next few days. I'm on Spring Break but I have a lot of work to do putting together music for KCSC Radio here in Chico so I might not be on quite as frequently. Hopefully it won't interfere, but you never know with music.

Slifer,Altus,Svana,and Darius are in Gilfaryl. Since Slifer is gonna be out for a while,after Darius and Svana are done talking,maybe you guys can head up to the inn and talk to me. In which,you should be careful because the next thing you know your gold and other precious things are already gone lol.

It's just a bit of a cluttered time really. Our characters are in the process of trying to find each other so that a grouping can take place, as that is going to be the whole point of it. So, if you're not put off by that, then go ahead and get started with a profile. If you have questions, consult the RP's 'Role-play Overview' page and if you can't find the answer there, check the OOC. If you still can't find your answer, ask me and I'll help you out.
 
One quick question before I start posting (If I get too tired, I might just wait until tomorrow); How much Fil do I start out with? Since I am new and all
 
About 500-750. The final number is up to you. 
You don't need to worry about encumbrance in the RP. It doesn't apply. One of the few things that won't from the Elder Scrolls world. And as for the rest of your inventory and such, please keep track of it on a separate word document of some kind for your own benefit. I'll trust you to keep track of what you have. 
Also, for those who are wondering. I'm holding off from posting to give anyone presently in Gilfaryl the chance to catch up to Slifer and Atlus.


It wouldn't be any fun if it was just those two all the time, know what I mean? 
I know. I'm trying to gather them together as best I can.
 
Alright guys,since Kyero will be gone for a while,let me go form everybody up and create the official team. If you guys don't mind,your characters will be...let's say...introduced in another way if you know what I mean. If you don't,well,this is what will basically happen:


Darius will be pushed into the water.


Lady Svana will become a hostage for a short while.


Drake...we'll meet up in your cave...


You see,I'm being chased by guards and I have to slow them down. After that,it's your choice to follow me or stay with your own adventures. But Kyero recommends that we form a team very quick so...yeah...
 
I recommend a team formation soon, yes, but that doesn't mean you're taking charge just because I'm going to wait for others to make a move Prox.


Sit tight, and let them get involved their way for now. If I need a forced direction, I'll be the one to implement it.

Oh,I'm really sorry if you think I was forcing them. And no,I'm not taking charge Kyero, I'm just simply helping the RP get back on its real feet. You see,this is the very second time I role played on an RP that did not simply go inactive. And because of that,I'm trying my best to keep it together.


Anyways, you're still the moderator so I won't get into your duties. So this time, I'll try to stop helping unless you want me to. I'll always be available :)

I'm new here. Really new. I've roleplayed before, but never on rpnation. I'm still figuring out things, so sorry in advance if I make mistakes.


Anyways, I have a question. Human characters can control magic, right? You mentioned something along the lines of humans are just humans, nothing special, so I was wondering about the magical powers you explained earlier- are they just for the dragons, or humans too?

Humans do have magical capabilities, yes, but the main message is that having magic is not going to make them superhuman. Also, when it comes to magical types and capabilities, being able to conjure and summon spectral beings is not something that can be done. Only elemental magic and warding is possible.
 
There is something of a revolution brewing in Gilfaryl, yes. However, it's not going to have a major impact on our journey. It was a set up for Roboblou's character to join the group in a meaningful way since her character has almost no physical capabilities whatsoever in terms of combat. Also, there is going to be a link between the one who oversaw the execution in that post and the cult that serve as the main antagonists, but that won't become clear to our characters until much later.

Should I wait until after Gilfaryl to join the party or will that be too late? :(
