Fantasy Dragons Reborn

Willow the HydraWillow stopped and looked at him, then looked away. "Oh, well that might not be for another few days. I may have been a little hasty getting there. Besides, you seem...fun?" she said, not quite sure if he would buy that. She scratched the back of her neck and looked back up at him with a bit of nervousness in her eyes. She knew she wouldn't feel good about herself later if she didn't fulfill her inner desire to repay him somehow, but she also didn't know how else to rid herself of the feeling. But once she did repay him, she might feel free enough to resume her solo life, free to destroy whatever she wanted.

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person
Forrest's puzzled expression became even more so as she called him fun...? Moving his hands from the back of his head to his hips, he shook his head momentarily. Was she asking to come along with him without even wanting to know his name? Without even having the chance to talk first? Well, in all honesty, Forrest was just as, if not more impulsive than she was. Right now was one of those rare times where the bear man bothered to stop and think about how things should pan out, and even so, he wasn't coming up with much. Gritting his teeth on the wheat branch before crossing his arms, he opened his mouth to speak. "I don't really care who I'm staying with and who I'm not, as long as they aren't trying to kill me. You aren't trying to kill me, so I don't care if you come with me or not. But we don't even know each other's names, and to be honest, that's not a good thing."

Extending his hand for a shake, Forrest prepared himself so that he wouldn't crush the girl's hand should she decide to grab his. "I'm Forrest. Nice to meet you."

Willow the Hydra

Willow's gaze immediately snapped to his hand as he moved it, probably due to instinct. She calmed her senses from high alert, constantly reminding herself that she wasn't necessarily in any danger. Yet. She hesitantly and gingerly met his hand with hers, though she couldn't really shake it because her hand was too small to wrap around his properly. She debated whether or not to give him information about her, but she didn't feel like she had much of a choice. "I-I'm Willow," she stammered, almost forcing it out of herself. She didn't have much experience telling people her real name, as she usually used a pseudonym when seducing strangers, and she didn't really meet too many people outside of that. She just hoped that this trust wouldn't be misplaced and bite her in the butt later. "Can we go now?" she asked, a bit flustered.

Oh a test huh?? He chugs the rest of his drink all thinking. Team huh? I wonder what she's forming a team for. It's probably dwarves only. He places his mug on the counter. Another round please? He asked the innkeeper. So is this team suppose to be dwarves only or no? He asked as he pointed to both dwarves. @Sgt Gomez @Mitchs98

Alisa Elien

Alisa brushed her hair back and freed the bits of woden debris from it and from her person. "
Fair enough. I would've done the same thing, really." She replied with a shrug before making her way over to the bar. "A waste of time for you, maybe. Fighting to us dwarves is a general pasttime, that and drinking everything in sight of course." She told him. "You're welcome to stay in my room..Elise was it? It has two beds and plenty of room." She offered with a shrug before signaling for her own mug of ale.

She chugged half of it in one go and looked to the guy. "
Ask Elise. As far as I'm concerned if you can take a punch unlike most squishy humans you're good enough for me." She told him. "Though..you look kinda squishy." She added, poking him for emphasis.

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person
With the slightest of shakes so as to not rip Willow's arm off, Forrest flashed a friendly smile. Then, instinctively and largely an accident, the man suddenly pulled her in for a great hug. Before he could do any real damage, he shoved her away quickly and carefully before turning around and looking down at his arms before pulling them to his sides with all his might. The wheat branch in his mouth was gritted on a bit more before speaking, "Sorry about that. I'm just a little happy to be with something that isn't an animal, heheh... Let's go to the lake. I really need to start gathering food, and fishing... fishing!" Upon remembering that he didn't want to get his clothes wet, Forrest quickly turned around again and put his open palms up at Willow. "Here, uh, you should go hunt land animals and stuff while I can get the fish, okay?"

Willow the Hydra

Willow was very confused by the whirlwind of actions out of her control. It all started with pleasantries, then quickly shifted into an abrupt hug that sent her reeling. Still a bit disoriented, she shook her head. "It's okay..." she said, giving a faint smile. "But I can fish really well, maybe even better than you," she challenged. She was one to put her skills to the test, especially when it was an area of expertise for her. She'd show this bear who really had the fishing skills, as she had no doubt she would cream him. To stretch, she pulled her arms up, then released them as she rolled her shoulders and her neck. It would be nice to have some action that didn't involve her being pinned down by random bone dragons, or nonsense of that caliber.

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person
Relieved to find that Willow was okay and had even given him a smile, Forrest's stance of happiness had completely been replaced with fear and embarrassment as the elf taunted him. Was he being challenged to fishing? By an elf? Stomping a foot in frustration, a few flowers sprouted from the place of the impact as the bear-man shouted at her despite her not raising her tone once, "Wanna bet?! Fishing's a part of my life! That lake is a part of my life! I know everything about it and more! So I'll take your challenge and I'll win!" instinctively undressing it what seemed like almost a second, Forrest was halfway there, not caring about who or what may have been watching him. Maybe taunting him wasn't such a good idea after all?

Willow was shocked that he raised his voice so forcefully at her, and even more shocked when he started stripping. "W-wait! You're just going to undress in front of me! I..I... Oh my!" she said, heavily reddening. She wasn't necessarily unexperienced with this sort of scenario, but this was usually the part where she knocked someone out to take their stuff and leave. This wasn't the situation to apply that knowledge. She squeezed her eyes shut and averted them to the side; she wasn't interested in someone flashing her at the moment. "I, er... Shall we?" she asked, peeking out of one eye to see if he would lead her to the lake, hoping he might not have completely undressed.

Elise Ironfist

"Well if you can prove to me that you deserve to be on my team then you are welcome, but if I deem you not strong enough then I will not let you join my team. Its as simple as that. For now I just need a mug of ale and some rest. I am soaked and my nose is painful," she laughs when she probably shouldn't both of the dwarves looked horrible, but it wasn't even the worst that could have happened. "You don't mind if I use your extra bed? Buy this fine woman another mug of ale for me and put it on my tab," She says as she heads upstairs to find Alisa's room to rest.

Lila and Ryuu
Lila woke to find herself tucked away under neath Ryuu's wing, and with a sharp pain in her arm. Along with the sharp pain came a wooden shaft, and an arrow, embedded in her muscle. Wincing as she stood up, she started forwards, then stumbled into one of the only people left in the clearing. As she hit her, she slumped again, and Ryuu darted forward. He grabbed her in one claw, and the girl in the other, then began to fly away.

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person

While Forrest showed slight signs of shame at what he had just done, his emotions were completely replaced with pure boldness as the man put his fists on his hips, a challenging grin adorning his face. "We shall!" he shouted, mimicking the speech he wasn't used to as he bolted off, kicking clouds of dust and dirt behind him.

...

Diving into the water with absolutely nothing on, Forrest chose this time that the feel of the water didn't matter. Nothing did except for fish and beating Willow in the contest. Taking a breath, the bear person quickly went under, keeping his eyes wide open. Already spotting a school of the swimming food, Forrest summoned his spear and threw it. Despite being underwater, the weapon glided almost fearfully quickly and harpooned a line in the school.
Beat that, Willow! he thought to himself triumphantly before swimming to retrieve his spear and repeating the process of impaling.

Willow the Hydra

She was stunned for a moment, not sure how to handle a randomly naked bear. But as he took off running, she didn't have time to think if his dick flapped in the wind when he ran. She quickly grabbed his things, draping some neatly over her arm and carrying the rest, and took off after him. She did trip one time on his toga thing, as they were quite long, but she got back up and kept going. After laying them on the shore, she dove gracefully into the water, whose touch caused her to shift into more of a hybrid form. With expertise, she swam around, grabbing fish with her claws and skewering them on her tail. When she could no longer fit any more, which didn't take long at all, she dumped them on the shore and went back for more. She decided to fish away from Forrest, mainly because he was scaring off her fish and she didn't really want him to see her in her partially shifted form. But she saw him in a different light, so she figured it wouldn't be the worst if he saw her in a different one just the same. But she was still cautious because her secret could spell disaster.

@Salt Lord

Forrest, the Lovable Bear Person

After a few more spearfuls of fish were dumped onto the lake's bank, a familiar yet unknown scent snaked its way through the water and into Forrest's nose, except this time, it was even more powerful than before. Suspiciously, the bear slowly glided under the water toward Willow, and while he couldn't exactly make out her shape with his eyes, he was sure something about her had changed. Just look at all the fish she was grabbing! No matter how many lines of fish he speared, his pile would never amount to what hers had to be! Deciding he wanted a closer, better look, Forrest continued swimming, hoping his darker skin would help him to blend in with the floor of the body of water. Miraculously, he still had fairly enough air to stay down and watch her hunt, but if he was to go back up and get another breath, he's have to do it near her. There wasn't enough in his lungs to swim back and then try it.

Grabbing a stray fish and plopping it into his mouth quick enough to not drink any of the water, Forrest watched and waited as Willow continued to pulverize him in the competition. Winning was the least of his worries now.

Willow the Hydra

She was hunting for a little while when she sensed his giant disturbance via hyrda aquatic adaptation senses. She wasn't 100% sure where he was, but she knew he was near, so she swam quickly to the water's surface, shooting out of the water and onto the shore. There, she tried to quickly get rid of any hint of her hydra origins, but it was a bit difficult since she was wet. After rolling around in the grass for a few moments, she began to dry, and her scales, claws, and tail had disappeared. She really hoped that he didn't see anything. Perhaps she had gotten a little carried away with the competition, but she just wanted to win for once today. taking a breather, she lay on the grass, catching her breath and staring up into the sky edged with tree canopies, her arm over her forehead. There was nothing she could do now but wait for him to finish whatever it was that he was doing, but she couldn't be sure he didn't see her.

Sabrina

"Aww..." said when the bone dragon didn't let her take a bone sample. "I-I-It's okay, I g-g-guess I can always go to that village for a sample..." Sabrina saw the giant man and the mean elven lady run run out to one side of the forest. "H-Hey! Wait up!" she shouted at them before running after them. In the desperate state she was into get to them, she didn't notice a stuck out root on the path and tripped over it. She tumbled down a slope and landed heavily inside a large ditch. After a couple of minutes of clawing at the slope, trying to get out, she finally managed to crawl out of the ditch, all dirtied up. She heard the sound of water flowing in the near distance and happily bolted towards it. Yay! A river! I can go swimm- she thought, before once more tripping over a root, and tumbling down yet another slope. This time, instead of another ditch, she tumbled into the open river bank, landing face first on something surprisingly soft. "Huh? I thought I'd hurt myself this time..."

Yep, you guessed it! She landed on Willow.

@Salt Lord

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person

For whatever reason, Willow left the water as soon as he could get to where he was. But that at least helped his assumptions. If you don't have anything to hide, you're not gonna leave when people try to figure you out. The 'elf' lady surely had something to hide, and the bear was determined to find out what it was. Not until, of course, he got some air. The pain in his lungs building up as he was running out of oxygen, Forrest swam quickly to the surface, and as his head burst out of the water, he gasped heavily and loudly for air. Well, there went his cover, but it wasn't like Willow would be coming back in anyway.

Scanning the area for a sign of his new friend, the man found a glint somewhere on the bank. The only thing it could have been was fish, and the only thing that could have gathered so much was Willow. Making his way toward land with swift strokes, it only took Forrest little over a minute to get from halfway across the lake to the other side, and remembering that he hadn't been wearing a single article of clothing, he called out before he exited the water. "Hey Willow, you might wanna look away for a bit."

Willow the Hydra

She looked up just in time to catch a glimpse of a the bear's top half before something randomly landed on her out of absolutely nowhere. She immediately shoved her off, mainly out of instinctual reaction, but would have anyway. "Ugh get off you brat," she huffed, a bit cross that she had to see Sabrina again. She was rather hoping that she could ditch her for good, but apparently she was going to have to try harder for that. Lord knows she would need an incredible amount of patience to keep from squashing her right then and there. Willow sat up and put her arms behind her to lounge on the shore, glaring at Sabrina from the side. "Great, I get to deal with this too," she mumbled, obviously cross that she had to interact with even more people. She didn't even want to necessarily go with Forrest, let alone some random chick. But that was neither here nor there, so she figured she would simply deal with it... for now.

Alisa Elien

"Of course I don't mind, not like I need two beds." She replied before downing the rest of the ale she ordered and quickly motioning for the mug Elise paid for. She grinned when Koziak hopped up asking about the test. "How about this! Beat me in a fist fight and I'll put in a good word for you with Elise. How about it?" She asked him with a cocky grin.

Hmmm. He thought about the girls offer as he swung his legs. It seemed interesting especially sense he never fought a dwarf or even another female thats not a bandit. he looked at Alisa then jumped off the counter. Alright, I'm down, but what are the conditions? He asked as he folded his arms. @Mitchs98 @Sgt Gomez

Sabrina

Sabrina was shoved off of the soft thing she landed on. She looked around and spotted an enraged elf lady, and quickly scrambled backwards, falling into the water. She squealed like a little piglet, thrashed around, and finally emerged from the water, soaked completely, although much cleaner than before. She then half flied, half thrashed all the way to the naked Forrest, and jumped onto his shoulder. "Sh-Sh-She's so scaaaaaaaryyyyyy!" Sabrina lamented.

Mae

In the corner of her eye, Mae saw Lila regain consciousness and stand unsteadily. She moved forward to try and help the injured girl, catching her as she stumbled. "We should probably get out that arrow." She said, not seeing Ryuu. The dragon scooped the two up quite suddenly, shooting into the sky.

Mae let out a shriek of surprise, but remained calm. Heights didn't bother anymore, since she'd lived on a mountain so long. It was the thought of hitting the ground below should the dragon decide to drop that was scary.

Forrest the Lovable Bear Person

Impatiently waiting for Willow to turn her head, Forrest saw a second figure land on her. As the elf pulled the figure off, it seemed to scramble over to him and... jump onto his shoulder? Not particularly phased by her weight or even her amazing legs, the bear man was worried she'd be able to see that he had no clothes. With one hand, he heaved her into the air and swam to the bank, keeping as much of his body hidden in the water as possible. "She's not scary! Just a little mean, is all! I'm sure if you tell her your name, she'll be friends with you as soon as she can! But, uh, you two should do that in the forest... where you can't see me put on clothes." With a slight blush, Forrest used his free hand to point at the small mound of clothes lying on the dirt somewhere near Willow.
