we came upon the gate there was guards in me towers and a lot of people going in and out more going in for the festival and they pass through the gate easily without being stalked in there was a whole lot more people inside than out

At the sight of all the people I stayed close to Konton. I know I got a lot of looks. I was half elf, I expected that."I can't read the banners what is this festival for?" I asked looking around at all the stalls. Every one of them seemed to be selling some sort of food, or item.

"it is two heroes hero the moon and hero of the Sun"I point to a pencil banner when I said the moon and a yellow banner when I said have sun

I nodded and looked at all the people. I wish I understood common. as we walked through the town I looked at stuff trying to tell what it was. I saw many posters they had two people sitting in really big chairs."Who are those people?" I asked pointing to the poster of the king and queen.

"that is a king and queen of this land." I said kind of glad people could not understand her but then I thought I was the same way when I came out of elven civilization

I nodded. I looked up as someone who wore the same stuff as the men standing at the front gate came towards us."Hello elves, it is not often we see your kind, if you would come with us, the king and queen would like to meet you." They said and I looked around still, not able to understand what they said.

"why would they want to see us"I asked the bit curious and to figure out what was going on

"The king and queen have never seen an elf before and want to meet one." I looked at everything around us and then turned back to Konton, bored, I couldn't understand what they were saying."I'm ready to continue." I said a little impatient.

"okay well its all up to her if she would like to go see them"I didn't turn to Iraneth and started to speak elvish"would you like to go meet the king and queen"

I thought for a moment."Sure, I would love to, but you would have to tell me what they are saying." I said and smiled. I reached out and held his hand before I looked at the man.

I turn to the man I'm nodded my head and starting to walk towards the castle knowing my way around"come on man let's get going" and then turn back to elvish."that is what I am good at translating for anyone"

I nodded as the man took the lead. As we followed him deeper into the town things started to get fancier and fancier. I noticed the hype of the festival went down as well and there were less people on the street. I knew I was getting looks so I stayed close to Konton.

I hold her closer as she got closer to me"it is okay we're almost to the Castle"when I said that we arrived at the front gate of the castle

I nodded and followed him into the big stone building. I didn't like it since I couldn't see or smell the sky. I wanted to snort smoke to show my contempt for this but kept it to myself. When I saw the king and queen I didn't know what to do so I followed the knights lead and bowed.

I did the same as the nights and begrudgingly bowed and then rised"your men said you wanted to see elves and that's why we are here"

The queen was quite young, she looked our age well the king looked very old, old enough to be her father even."Konton, can you tell them I say hi and that I don't speak common."

I nodded my head."I am sorry for my companions lack of speech she did not know how to speak common she says hi"

The king nodded as the queen rose from her seat and walked down to us."Can you tell us what the elven kingdom is like?" She asked. I moved close to Konton."Are queens normally this young?"

"I am sorry my lady but that is a secret that no elf can tell"I switch to elvish"unless you're counting us then No they're not that young"

I nodded and the queen sighed."Then maybe I can hear one of your ballads, His Grace would like to hear a song as well." I watched the queen as she walked back up to the throne and sat down.

"the ballads I'm filled with magic and grace everybody gets dressed for the occasion almost like you in beautiful suits and dresses when we dance its like nature is dancing with us.and I'm not no singer I do use one of the fluke"and then pulled out one of my fluke and started to play and majestic and beautiful song in the plants in the building started to rise and sway like they were dancing

I smiled at this and them remembered. This was the song my mom use to sing to me to fall asleep. I start to sing along in the best could remembering my mother.

after a while I finish the song and put my flute down and then looked over at Iraneth"you did a good job."I then look at the king and queen hoping that they like the song."so your majesty how did you like it"

I blushed at this and smiled."Thank you." I said holding back the urge to nuzzle him."It was wonderful." The queen said clapping her hands."Thank you for coming to see us, I will have the guards escort you back to the fairgrounds if you want."

"that will be nice my lady"I said as I put my flute away and grabbed Iraneth hand again getting ready to leave the castle and go back to have a little bit fun at the fairground.
