I smiled and nodded as I followed him through the streets. Holding onto his hand tightly I looked around as we walked, I noticed a person following us so I moved closer to Konton.

I felt Iraneth get closer to me and then I saw someone following us I thought for a while and then mumbled a few words the person following us should see a illusion of us entering a store I hope that trick them for a while not wanting to run into any trouble

The person entered the store as we walked off the other way. I smiled at this and we soon got to the gate. Once we were far enough away I let my tail slip free as I relaxed more."Well we were there I thought maybe you could take me to one of these mage cities I heard people say." I didn't know much about mages, what my father had told me was they lived with other mages or on there own and they were generally nice, they didn't go after dragons like my father.

I pulled out a map and started to look at it wanting to find a mage city nearby they were pretty rare and likes to be away from any other city.I found one nearby and thought it was very lucky as us it's only a 3 day trip counting this day as day 1."

I looked at him as he looked at the map in his hands. I tried to read it but I only knew draconic writing. I pulled back yawning as I was still waking up, I was happy to look up because I could see the group of people moving around us." Konton, we are being surrounded." I had tucked my tail under me.

I put the map away then look at the group of people and rested my hands on both of my swords ready to fight at any time"so is there any problem because it looks like there is."I said as I look at all these people wanting to make sure Iraneth protected

"We have never seen an elf like her, we were thinking that maybe she took that form to hide something else like her being a dragon." They moved closer to us as they pulled there swords out I got ready to melt them.

"and how many else have seen now day because most of us likes to hide in our place."I started to draw my sword and mumbling some words.

The men chuckled," I spent many years working on elven trade ships, I've never seen an elf like her." I jump up as he moves to strike. I breathe fire melting down the sword.

I block an attack from one of the guys and finish the spell and started to breathe fire as well at some of the guys sword melting the metal."you're messing with the wrong people now let us pass or suffer the consequences."

A couple of the men turned and ran away but two stayed they pulled out silver swords and I moved back, if I got nicked by the silver it would poison the spot.

I make sure that I was in front of her and ready for any attack that the two men could throw at me and mumbled a few words putting a shield spell on her."okay you two are going to die then fine by me."

I watched as the two men were cut down by Konton. Once they were dead I moved forward and set the bodies on fire. When ever my father had to kill someone he burned the bodies till they couldn't be recognized.

before she burnt the body I got the gold and silver store swords from them they both only have one gold piece 18 silver pieces."it's quite useless doing that now we let some of them run they will come back with a big group."I stood there looking at the sky."but you did a good job."

I looked at him and reached out taking hold of his hand," I'm sorry, it's because of me that they are after us."

I shook my head and look at her."you don't have to be sorry I'm glad that you're with me now if you wasn't that would been my next group that I would have wandered with."

I smiled and followed him as we started to walk," How long will it be till we get to the next city?" I asked as we walked along

"it's a 3 day trip counting today as number 1"I said as I smiled at her

I nodded and walked along humming a song as we walked along. I was humming a song that my mom use to sing to us.

I smiled at her and started humming with her as I looked out for any danger we were taking a shortcut to make it a shorter trip but it was going to be more dangerous this is why I was looking out for any danger

As we walked along I ran from tree to tree and looked around the path. I would scamper back to Konton after a could moments before moving on ahead and looking around.
