I followed him up the mountain. I only slipped a couple times but I caught myself with my tail which slipped out of my kimono. I kept it hidden otherwise.

I almost died when I saw her the slip the first time he was glad that she had a tail and that she could have hit it after a while we made it to the top I looked out on the landscape spotting smoke off into the distance I've been pointed to it when she got up here"there's the next human settlement I was going to I heard there was supposed to have a festival around this time of year"

I smiled at his and nuzzled him, saying thank you."I wont be able to talk to anyone there." I said softly and looked down a little sad. I didn't like not being able to talk common.

"ok don't worry I'll translate for you I know common and elvish in a lot other languages too"I patted her head and started to climb my way down

I smiled and followed him down slowly. I stayed near him as we reached the bottom and it started to level out.

I dusted myself off when I reach the bottom"so when do you want to start learning to speak common"

I looked at him thinking for a moment."Soon, but not now. I think we should wait for a bit." I said and smiled. I followed him as we walked.

I nodded my head as we continue to walk it would take us about 6 hours to get to the village so I kept to ear and eye out for anything to happen"so what is it like to live with a Dragon"

I sighed at this."I get to fly all the time but he is over protective. I'm only ever let out of his sight when it must be or something else happens." I said and looked at Konton."He is worried about me since my mother left me all alone with him.

"what worrying about you is father's job it kind of makes him a little bit less scary now"I said while looking forward

I giggled at this."My father wouldn't hurt a human, or any other race that could talk. He is quite underfeed from trying not to hunt the humans flocks."

"I see I am glad for that and it's pretty smart for him to stay away from the humans"I said as a look back to make sure I was not going too fast

I kept up with him well. I nodded."He doesn't like humans, he blames them for chasing the elves away, he told me stories of days where sitting in his cave he could hear elven music play from before sunrise to after sunset."

"yes I remember my mom saying that but without the cave and she's being in it making the music"I said while I rub my head from my mistake and hope that I did not confuse her too much

I tried to follow his words but I was to confused. I would have to ask him about it later as we ran into some people on the road to the city. I moved close to Konton, hoping he would protect me.

I started to speak common to see what was the guys doing and directions to the city"hey there fella what kind of lost do you know which way to the city"

The men looked at us and smiled."Yea, keep going north along this road and you get to the city in no time." They said. they were carting big wagons that had piles of cloth on the back."Konton, what is it they are bringing with them, it doesn't look like food?" I asked him.

I looked at the back of it"thank you for your help."and I saw the piles of cloth and started to speak elvish so Iraneth will understand me"they are probably traders caring one good to another town or city can it looks like this pairing clothing or materials to make clothing."I gave the people 2 copper pieces for the information that they gave me

I nodded and watched them leave after they said some words. I looked down the path the way they pointed and started to walk slowly."Will we see any other elves?"

"probably not, not many L Strome outside of their own civilizations"I said sadly as I walk down the path

I frowned at this and followed him."What other kinds of people will we see then?" I knew it would probably be humans, but her father and told her other races lived among humans as well. Little half people and people that had features of animals, along with big green skinned monsters.

"maybe some Dorfs,orcs,nine tails I know they called something else I just like to call him that and maybe some centaurs that's what I said last time I came to this city"I looked at her as I went down the list

I nodded. My father called them different thing but I knew sort of what each was. I followed him in silence for a while until we could see the walls of the city in the distance. I stayed close to Konton."Will we be allowed in the city?"

I patted the top of her head"don't worry we will be allowed in there they never stopped me before so there's nothing to worry about."I then started to hold her hand hoping that will calm her

Holding his hand I stepped towards the gate following him. I looked around at the number of people, we had been seeing more and more people as we came closer to the town.
