Making basic labor drones sounds like a good idea. It frees up our characters for training and interaction, so I'm all for it. Give the drones power levels in and around 1,000, just to keep them simple. They won't need anymore than that.

For some reason I had the idea in mind to give you guys a head's up in case anyone missed it in the "Mechanics" page, there is no foul language in this RP. It's not because I don't like foul language. Fuck it, I use it all the time. It's just that the Saiyans are not humans, so they won't know words like fuck, shit, bastard, shit, or things like that. Neither will they know phrases like son of a bitch, douche bag, piece of shit, or anything of that nature.


If you guys need to express your character's anger, be creative and find ways around the language thing okay? Cool!

Well, Karas has had broad exposure to foreign media. Furthermore, he has regular dealings with aliens, including a non-DBZ variant of the humans. Some of it would rub off on him. Otherwise, I think we should have some substitute curse words in the form of newspeak.

Earth is an alien world. Also, this seems like an incredibly frivolous rule. If you want to get that technical, the Saiyans aren't speaking English either, but we write in English anyway. It's just like in Star Wars, where technically the entire cast is speaking Galactic Basic (which somehow doesn't go through any change in language over hundreds of thousands of years of continued civilization across multiple star systems), yet the audience hears their vernacular, with all of their linguistic flair intact. When I say "fuck" as a curse word in this RP, I mean "Saiyan curse word that is used in the same grammatical place as fuck," not "highly offensive way of referring to sexual intercourse." And honestly, it just seems like pointless flavor to start forcing us to come up with newspeak.

Foul language isn't necessary for this RP anyway. Our perception of it gives it meaning, and without perceived meaning they're just empty words which could easily be replaced by something else. Saying "FUCK!" in response to something surprising or horrifying could easily be replaced with "Oh no!," "No!," "Not good!," "Oh my god!," "How!?," "What the!?," or anything else along those lines.
