Ya the qunari can be harder. But the dwarves were cute! I'd love to play origins again, but I hate the combat in it because it feels like the characters move so slow.

Hopefully it’s easier in the next (assuming we get all four races again) for the qunari race. Just giving more hair and beard options would have made a world of difference imo. I wanted a qunari with long flowing hair lol like that card shows when choosing qunari.

They were! And the elves were a improvement from DAII as well. But the dwarves were cute just look to scout Harding for proof.

I guess I never noticed in origins. Least not til playing the sequels. But origins was my first real rpg so that could be a factor in why i didn’t mind the slower combat

Hmm... playing a city elf and realized a curiosity, the city elf warden never learns the truth behind Addia’s death/disappearance do they? I recall a Addia appearing in Leliana’s song and believe that was the elven wardens mother less I’m wrong and it’s been proven otherwise. I grow more and more curious about Addia now.

I never played leliana song, and also I barely remember the city elf's parents tbh. I just remember all the rape threats

I think I only played it twice, the first time per way through or poorly done? And the second all the way through and more fitting of my perfectionist habits when comes to DA games and other such rpgs and their quests. Namely ensuring all is covered and all loot is mine.

Cyrion seems like a typical npc. But Addia being either a clever rogue or skilled warrior (whatever the term was used to describe the warrior class play through) just seems like a good story never told. Just a random curiosity now that I’m playing through it again. I’ve got many of those where it concerns untold and unanswered questions in origins.

But yeah, the rapes and murders is a heavy part of what i remembered as well.
