Pardon my intrusion but I realize it may not have been mentioned where you can see it yet. But just as a heads up, the early stages of this rp will be quite limited on mages, just 1 to be exact and it’s already claimed by Karcen.

With that said, a Tal-Vashoth mercenary is a nice idea and could balance out races even more.
Gotcha. Makes sense. Then I shall see what feels like a fit in the Rogue class. Always partial to a Reaver, but we seem to have plenty of warriors.

Ok cool. I’m thinking of making my dalish elf a reaver in origins actually, never really explored the specialization before and it seems like a interesting build for a Dalish elf warden. Just made my Hawke warrior a reaver as well since I made him look rather chasind and it seemed to fit what I was going for..

But anyways, If you count the two npcs and now Rusty’s character we have enough rogues and warriors to to leave open the option for you. If not counting them, then it’s true warriors are up by one.

I didn’t fall in love with the Reaver specialization until Inquisition. Nothing quite like ripping out an enemy’s spine to heal yourself in the heat of battle.

Alright. Got it! I was thinking Assassin didn't fit my character, since he's completely self taught and isn't a murder-stabby kind of guy. He's more like Garret from the Thief series, preferring to just sneak by somebody than fight them head on.

Hope my character's okay! I kind of leaned into the between two world's thing by making him very aloof, almost like he's in another world entirely. Basically a cat in human form.

He’s approved. But for future reference DA lore is rather particular, Max would be elven blooded not half elf. I’m not sure he’d necessarily be called a knife ear since elven blooded characters don’t have the same ears but that’s something that could happen I suppose.

Ah, got it. I wasn't too familiar with the lore regarding mixed races. Though that does make sense, seeing as Alistair looks pretty damn human despite being half elven.

I ran into that particular issue with one of my many characters I’ve had drawn up in mind. It had been awhile since playing one of the DA games at that time and I partially forgot and wasn’t 100% sure about mixed races regarding elves and humans. Not sure how other mixes would work, though I imagine based off keran dwarves and humans make human looking babies. Also Feynriel in DA 2 is another example too.

I'm used to classic fantasy race logic, where mixed races are a mixture of their two parents. I assume humans in DA just have really dominant genes or something.

That’s understandable. Can’t say I’ve a ton of experience in fantasy logic where elves and dwarves and humans are races. DA, LOTR and a bit of elder scrolls is where most of mine has derived. But yeah, I figure the same.

You manage to get past being a one a done type no insult but that is what I remember happening a lot
