Oh yeah. So it turns out lyrium is the blood of these things called Titans. They're kind of like dwarven God's. And, well, the Darkspawn tainted one of them, so now it produces red lyrium, which can fuck people up even if they don't touch it or aren't mages.

Yeah. Oof. So we basically have a corrupted god spraying it's corrupted juices into the world, and no one can really stop it.

Aedan really reminds me of my first Origins character I made when I just started out xD
Lothar looks like a older, more badass version of Geralt from the Witcher
Seri terrifies me for justified reasons (and kinda reminds me of Ventress from Star Wars)
and Cassia, I swear i've seen her in a Star-wars game somewhere (Knights of the old Republic?)

Aedan pretty much IS my first Origins character. My canon Warden is of course a male Warden warrior. I'm such a vanilla sucker, since I rarely ever play an elf or dwarf or even a mage.

It's entirely possible someone may have used that character art for a Star Wars character before. I can't recall doing so myself (I usually play a Chiss if doing Star Wars). Who knows.

I usually play humans. My Hawke is either a warrior or mage depending on whether I choose the Templars or the Mages, and my Inquisitor of late has always been a Human Mage.

 

[Epiphany]

I can't stop playing Mages in every DA game. I just find the towers, the templars, and the tension of the setting too much to resist.

IMO Mage was the only playable class in Origins (Wynne, Morrigan, PC Mage, Alistair best comp), and I skipped over two, but I'm definitely a Warrior in Inquisition.

I do agree with ya, Epiphany. And I remember playing a mage a while ago in Origins and loving it. I would just spam Living Bomb and the Living Bomb that spreads from a distance and watch the chaos unfold.
