Realistic or Modern DotC High

Before he exited, he was met with a deep kiss. Just the sound of her voice brightened his world to shine like the morning sun. He nodded, rubbing her arm in a sort of comfort. "Who else to share this with than you?" Kilo walked out of the car with a smile on his face, hoping that this experience would help her through hard times. Just to have the little trinket to remind herself of what she stands for would be helpful, or at least he hoped it would be. He followed in behind her, grabbing for her hand so she wouldn't be so nervous. By her leaning against him she could tell she wasn't comfortable in the place, but he couldn't blame her. Army men came in her all the time to get guns or any other type of weapons. He walked her up to the counter, since they sold dog tags there. "Hey, we're lookin' to buy a dog tag. Only one this time, and you gotta engrave it." He specified the details to the employee, who nodded and looked for a tag similar to what he described. After a few minutes it was found, chosen, and yesterday's date along with her name imprinted in bold lettering. When it was done, he paid for the item and brought it outside, deciding to make the moment special. He stopped in front of the car, holding the tags on the metal chain in his hands. "This is for all the times of healing to come, for my sweet and beautiful Doll." Kilo then put it on her, making sure that her hair laid neatly over it. This made him smile, to see such a simple design around her neck. He picked her up on the spot, carrying her over to the car. As he opened the passenger door, he couldn't help but look her in the eye, look into those unworldly irises. He placed her down in the seat, though couldn't help but to make a move. When he set her down, he had pushed the seat back to make room for him. After he carefully climbed to hover over her, he shut the door. He leaned down slowly, making his movements clear, before pressing deeply into a kiss. His hands moved to her sides, while he knelt over her. The only times he pulled away was to take short breaths. He wasn't going to take it farther than it needed to go, though he did at least want to enjoy the moment they shared.

Korren looked up at him, gently squeezing his hand in return. She partially smiled, listening to what he had to say. "I love you too." Through it all she understood why he was so on edge about this popular girl, though it made her on edge to think he could be so quick to judge if those he loved were supposedly hurt. There was nothing wrong with this, though she felt like he maybe needed to give at least one chance to the girl. "Okay." She spoke after his concluding thought, scooting closer to him. By then she finished her ice cream, though some still lingered on her lips without her fully realizing it. When he was done speaking she smiled at him, hoping that things could be cleared up or worked through without so much anger. It upset her to see him so angry over a girl he barely knew, and she hoped that giving this girl a chance would be the right thing to do. "I'm sure things are going to be okay." She only hoped this was true.

Winnie smiled as Kilo spoke such kind words before placing the dog tag around her neck. In that moment he truly did make her feel special, like she was royalty. It was one of the best little moments of her life, and her heart melted as he called her doll. She was his doll, and it made her happy beyond belief to think that, that she belonged to him and he belonged to her. It made her giddy, and she laughed vibrantly as Kilo picked her up, wrapping her arms around his neck and looking up at him with all the adoration in the world. The weight of the dog tag bounced lightly against her chest and she couldn't help but love the feel of it. It was her connection to Kilo, so that even when they were a part she would still have this simple piece of aluminum to hold them together.

As he set her down in her car, she couldn't help but feel a little shocked as he climbed over and kissed her, though she certainly wasn't mad about Kilo's actions. Her arms wrapped around his neck almost immediately, and her fingers trailed up into his hair, knotting in it without pulling too hard on any open strand as she pulled him down against her completely, deepening the kiss, struggling to take short breaths without breaking it. In that moment she forgot they were squished together in the passenger seat of a car, and she began to grow more passionate, one hand trailing down his chest, slipping under his shirt. This was it for her. This moment. She was ready to start something she wasn't even completely sure Kilo was ready to start, but then he had practically jumped her so why wouldn't he be? She tried not to overthink it, instead just keeping herself grounded in his kiss.

Sage smiled and looked over at Korren as he took the final bite of his ice cream, chuckling as he noticed the ice cream that stained her face. He grabbed a napkin, licking it once before gently moving to clean off her face for her. "You take my breath away, you know that?" he said, leaning in and kissing her quickly. "I'm glad you're an optimist, because I'm not, and I need someone like you in my life, to help me remember it's gonna be okay." He got to his feet, throwing their trash away and leaving the payment and a tip for the ice cream, before taking her hand in his. "Come on, love, we still have a long day of fun to go. I happen to know the best places for Greasers to hang out when they're skipping." He winked at her and chuckled, before leading her along to her car for their next destination of the day.

Kilo was happy that she was into it, pressing a bit more passion into it. He was getting lost in the activity, breathing when he could while staying connected. Over time he instinctively moved his hands over her waist, holding her firmly though not forcefully. His weight had pressed slightly more against her, though he didn't press fully against her. The smooth touch of her hand caused him to crumble, loosing his senses. It was difficult to stop what he had started. His hands slipped under her shirt, running over her sides lightly. Meanwhile, he trailed kisses up and down her neck. He couldn't think, and was starting to feel heat stir inside him. This needed to stop. As much as he would have liked to taken her then and there, it would have been bad on him. What would her father do? What would Winnie do? Would she regret it? Would she leave him afterwards? This thought frightened him, and he began to force himself to take control of himself once again. He slowed things down over time, moving his hands off of her sides and on to the seat. Kilo pushed himself up, though the one thing he found hard to do was pull away completely. By then he had moved up to reconnect their lips, though things were slowed down to be sensual yet sweet. It was difficult to catch his breath, especially from sharing moments like this with her. Near the end of it all he had lightly pressed his lips against hers, not pulling away for at least a minute, then it was sadly over. He let out shaky breaths, placing his head on her shoulder as he hovered over her. They couldn't keep doing this, otherwise he would have less control of himself over time.

"I love you," He breathed out, placing a soft kiss on her shoulder. Good start. When he caught his breath, he shifted so that he was sitting down and she was sitting in his lap. "Winnie," Kilo looked her in the eye, unsure of how to tell her they couldn't push for farther. "You are such a beautiful girl, you know?" He brushed a strand of her vibrant blue hair out of her face, smiling all the while. "I don't want to stain that beauty, doll. You mean the world to me, you hear? You are priceless, and that innocence you hold inside of you shouldn't just be taken away. It's special, and you're special." While he spoke, he placed one hand over her cheek, and the other held on to her hand. There was a softness to his eyes. He genuinely meant what he had to say, though he was subconsciously afraid that she would leave him, as selfish as that might have been. He didn't want to lose her, and secretly feared that she would do it with him just to abandon him the next day. That thought shouldn't have been kept in his head though, so he tried his best to dispel it.

Korren chuckled after he did, not really sure on what he was laughing about until he cleaned off the excess ice cream. This made her slightly blush, though she still smiled. One quick kiss and they were off again for their next little adventure. She followed after him, handing him the keys to the car. By his little wink she chuckled, smiling brighter at him. "By all means, lead the way." Today was going to be fun, she could sense it. Wherever he was taking her, it had to have been good. This all reminded her of the one book about the Greasers, where they went to the movies that one night, only hopefully preppy kids wouldn't jump out at them and ruin their time together. It hit her clearly as to why he called her Cherry Pop, because he was her Greaser. Granted, that made her a Soc, but that didn't matter. As long as they were happy together, nothing could ruin this day.

Winnie felt Kilo returning her passion, and as he did so she couldn't help but feel excited, although something else stirred within her- fear. Kilo was probably miles ahead of her when it came to sex, and it was intimidating to think she was trying to start something she truly didn't have a clue about. But as if he could read her mind, Kilo began to slow things to a gradual halt, and while Winnie had no idea how to feel about this, she did know there was a sense of relief in the mix. "I love you, too," she whispered, adjusting with him, trying to make the transition easier as she glided into his lap, cuddling up against his chest. Her heart was still racing, her breathing was still ragged, but at least she had him to rest against. Kilo was the best pillow she could have ever asked for because his beautiful rhythmic heartbeat was a lullaby to her. It made her sleepy and content.

She couldn't fall asleep though. Instead she listened to Kilo's words, nodding once. "You're not a stain though, Ty," she whispered, moving to take his hand, to curl their fingers together, to hold on as tight as she could. "You're special. You're so special and amazing. I wouldn't want to be with anyone else." Despite her words she didn't push the matter any further, and instead merely rested against him for a moment. "Can you take me home, now? I wanna fall asleep soon so that way I can wake up quicker to you," she spoke, smiling up at him, kissing his cheek quickly to show she wasn't upset at all. Kilo was smarter than her, and it took that moment to figure it out. He knew when to quit and when to stop and think things through. He was just what she needed in this crazy world. "I love you, Tyler Diaz," she cooed once more, still wanting to reassure him that it was all okay.

Sage slid into the driver's side, starting the car and smirking. "Let's find out how fast this baby goes," he said, revving the engine obnoxiously before drifting out of the parking lot, snickering at his own antics. "Oh, Korren, don't worry by the way, I drive like this all the time. You won't get hurt. Just relax, it's super fun," he said brightly, before flooring it. The tires squealed against the asphalt before they were catapulted forward. Sage was sure he was scaring Korren but he couldn't help it. It'd been awhile since he'd been in a car as fun as his old Mustang. Granted, that had only been blown up for a few days but he hadn't sped down the streets in anticipation that he'd lose it, so now he was making up for that.

Sage ended up taking Korren to a fair in town, and turned a thirty minute drive into ten. He got an idea when he was in the parking lot and slammed on the brakes, doing a full 360 donut in the empty part of the parking lot before casually parking, glancing over at Korren. "That was basically prep for all the rides were about to go on," he said, reaching over to take her hand, hoping he hadn't scarred her too bad. He knew for a fact Bucky didn't drive like a madman, especially not with his beautiful Ferrari. The guy was so scared of scratching it he had his goons reserve the two parking spots directly next to his car so they would never get used. Hopefully there'd be no reason to compare him to Bucky, hopefully that would have made it easier for Korren to let loose and have a little fun.

Kilo smiled at her as she rested in his lap, wrapping his arms around her while she rested against him. His heartbeat was erratic, though was calming down over time. He traced circles over her back, looking down at her with a softened expression. Winnie spoke quietly, though her words filled his mind. It was a relief that she still loved him, and this made him smile wider. He let out a breath, feeling as though he was holding something in for a long time. Instead of speaking, he only looked at her, watching as she laid their peacefully. The calmness of the moment wasn't broken, even as she asked to be take home. It made him sad that he couldn't stay in the home with her since Dalton was probably not home, though he wouldn't be too far away. He would have to go to the gym sometime soon, that was for sure. Still, he just wanted to be with her a little longer, but understandood that she had to go home. Part of him hoped that Chloe wouldn't show up at her house, though there was no doubt she would. This gave him a bad feeling, and caused his smile to falter, though quickly he hid his worry. "And I love you, Winnie Calloway." He gave her one last kiss before moving to the driver's seat, starting the car. Once the engine started, he paused, tired of holding back what he needed to say, though said it in the calmest way he possibly could. "Winnie... I trust you. I understand that you are capable of doing what you can to live your life. But, please be careful of the people around here. Those pieces of-" He took a pause, knowing he was sounding a little too strong. "The popular crowd, they can be real tricky. I'm not saying they're all like that, but a lot of them are. Just.. stay alert, alright? I love you. I don't want anything to happen to my beautiful doll." He leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek, his smile faded slightly. Out of all that, he meant what he said, but how he spoke of them was an understatement. She probably wouldn't believe him, which made him scared for her. If it served him right he did hear her say Chloe could come over around 7, so he was going to pop by and check on her around then, maybe bring chocolates for her so it didn't seem like he was prying. After a moment, he finally pulled the car out of the parking lot, driving off to her house. All the while he had a faint smile. It felt weird to be smiling so much, but he liked it. It made him feel far better about the situation, no matter how pessimistic he might have been.

Korren got in, and as soon as he spoke, she quickly buckled herself in. The sudden jerk of motion caused her to squeak, the blood rushing out of her face. "Okay," She said, while clutching on to her seat belt like her life depended on it. They sped down the road, seeming like every turn they made they would end up in a wreck. For most of the ride she had her eyes glued on the road, barely able to see if lines were dotted or not on the road since they were zooming by. Every now and then she gasped and hid her face in her hands, not wanting to watch. Sure she had been in the car with him before when he was speeding, but he didn't speed like this. When they finally reached the parking lot in one piece she let out a relieved sigh, though it wasn't over just yet. As soon as they started doing donuts, she latched on to Sage's arm, squeezing tightly as if she would fly out of the car if she didn't. She screamed out of spite for a moment, and when the donuts were done with, she tried to calm down. Korren placed her head against his arm, shutting her eyes as she tried to quiet her raging heartbeat. It was beating so fast it almost felt like it could be heard outside of her chest. She took his hand, squeezing it tightly. Never had she gone on a joy ride like that, only dangerous rides with drunken Bucky. This was controlled chaos though, so she couldn't help but faintly chuckle. Goodness, what was she doing being so frightened? It made her feel slightly stupid, but she let the thought go. By then she would have let go off him, though she didn't want to. Her grip loosened up as she held his hand and placed her head against his arm. It made her smile, and after a minute she looked up at him with her big blue irises. "Well, I guess I'm not prepared then." Korren meekly joked, smiling brighter at him. All the while she hadn't noticed her shaking as a natural reaction to the induced adrenaline and fear. "I haven't been on a ride before." She admitted, slightly shrugging her shoulders. Her parents never wanted her to experience such thrill in a small thing as a roller coaster ride, and instead took her on trips to places out of the country, sophisticated things that only rich people would do. Being out to a fair made her excited, wanting to go on all the rides though a little scared at the same time. In order to veer her interest away, she was told horror stories about rides as a kid. They were unstable and unpredictable contraptions, though she didn't believe that now. If they were so unstable, why else would hundreds of people go on it per day and walk out fine? Her interest on the rides peeked, though the only thing she feared surprisingly was a Ferris wheel, due to the height and lack of safety measures in the little box that suspended up in the hair, nowhere near to the ground. Roller coasters at least had safety measures though, so surely they would be okay.

Winnie listened to Kilo's warning as she buckled her seatbelt, before turning to take his hand in her own. "I promise you I'll be careful, Ty. Bucky does seem a little... odd, I have to admit. He was a getting a little handsy in Video Game Design but I don't think he knows were dating so I'm sure he'll lay off once he knows," she added quickly, not wanting to make Kilo think it was a problem she couldn't handle. "I'll talk to him and keep him a good distance away, I promise." While she said all this about Bucky, she was less enthused to talk about Chloe. The girl had been one of Winnie's first friends and she wasn't a big fan of thinking about her as some horrible person. While Kilo's warning would definitely make her cautious, it wouldn't make her completely cut the popular kids out of her life. Like he said, they weren't all bad. Maybe she had found some of the good ones then. She hoped, at least. Winnie had always gotten attached rather easily, and she didn't like the idea of letting go of someone once they were in her life. Even when her so-called friends would leave her lying passed out on the street she would still find herself crawling back to them like a desperate dog, always needing somebody in her life even if they weren't what she deserved.

Sage chuckled as he looked over at Korren, his eyes scanning over her body to make sure she was okay after all the spinning. As she leaned against him he could feel her shaking and kissed the top of her head. "It'll be okay, love, I'll show you a good time," he promised. He carefully moved away from her, getting out of the car and glancing over it once to make sure it was okay as well before heading over to the passenger side and picking Korren up out of the car, carrying her towards the entrance with a smirk as he leaned down to kiss her quickly. "These places are always great fun. The crew and I used to always sneak into the park and we would ride every ride, play each other at all the games, win stuffed animals for one another. It was wild." He paused in his tracks, looking down at Korren, smiling brightly. "And now I get to share it all with you." He looked up at the ticket booth, carefully setting her down now that the parking lot was behind them, and kept an arm around her waist, making sure to hold her steady just in case she was still shaking at all, wanting to give her the time she needed to recover.

Kilo nodded, cringing as she mentioned Bucky getting handsy. He was alert to this fact, and paid attention to her words. There was a tenseness to him that was noticeable, as he rolled his shoulders back a few times to relieve from stress. A few times he glanced over at Winnie, not saying anything for a few minutes. What could he say without cursing left and right? Since he learned of the increased bullying after Korren had left Bucky, he was worried for Winnie. What if she fell victim to that? Not one bit of this thought sat well with him. He let out a sigh, opening his mouth to speak, though quickly closed his mouth. Whatever he planned to say would have been fired off by the tongue. He gave on holding back about Bucky, since that trashy kid didn't deserve any reserved speech. "I swear if that piece of shit touches yo again I'm gonna fucking-" Another audible sigh as he furrowed his brow. He had to calm down. "I'm not mad at you at all, babe. Nothing that he does is your fault. Trust me when I say that he doesn't negotiate. I'd skip classes and drop everything to keep that asshat away from you if and when I can because of him. I'm not going to lie to you and say he's a decent guy, because he's nowhere near to decent." During this little rant he had reached a red light, stopping to run a hand through his hair, stretching his arms to loosen up muscles and calm himself. He looked over, lending her a half smile to reassure her that none of this had to do with her. While he looked at her, he reached over and lightly grabbed her hand, holding on to her. His thumb grazed over her knuckles, running over her smooth skin. When the light switched to green, he kept his eyes on the road and continued to drive, though still held her hand. He didn't say anything more about Chloe, only because through the cloud of talking about Bucky he forgot about her, only for now though.

When they reached her house, he turned off the engine and sat there in the car, still holding her hand. There was a brief silence, which was cut off with him exiting the driver's side and walking over to the passenger's side to open the door. He smiled down at her, leaning against the opened door. After a moment he leaned down slightly and offered his hand, knowing she would take it. Once he helped her out of the car, he kissed her hand and picked her up princess-style to carry her to the porch. Even when he was at the door, he held her in his arms, though didn't enter the home quite yet. It was a nice day weather wise, so there were no worries about whether it was too hot or cold. He kissed her forehead, smiling at her softly. His attitude was different from what it was in the car, though he did this just for her. There was no need for her to see him stress or become so emotional over something that all could have been silly, except it wasn't. All of the street rats knew how horrible Bucky was, since they've all been affected by him at one point in high school.

Korren nodded at him with a soft smile before watching him cross over to her side. She curled against his chest when he picked her up, nuzzling her head against him to calm herself down. To hear his heart beat would help her try to match it to his, which surprisingly worked over time. She was met once with a kiss, which brightened her mood further. As he went on with a story of him and his friends, she couldn't help but chuckle. It must have been fun to sneak around and do what they wanted, with no worries or cares in the world. Now she got to at least sneak around and enjoy herself, though there would be worries and cares. She was slowly set down as they approached the ticket booth. Her shaking was slowing to a halt, and as she stood there her heart beat had also been regulating. To think that she had already had her first thrill of the day, and yet was only just walking through the ticket booth. She leaned against him, hooking an arm around his waist, while on the other hand(literally), she placed her hand over his hand as it slackly settled around her waist. Today was going to be a good day.

Winnie flinched slightly when Kilo began his outburst towards Bucky, her eyes immediately averting to her lap as her hands moved to rest in her lap. She didn't like the way his voice raised, the obvious anger in his tone. It made her breathing quicken. He was mad at her. She had befriended somebody he didn't like and he was mad about it. Wait no, he wasn't mad at her, he said he wasn't mad at her. She tried to let this thought submerge her, to keep it in mind. It wasn't her. It wasn't her. Then why did it feel like it was her? Why did it feel like it was her fault? Like he was mad at her? She swallowed a slow breath, smiling at him as he took her hand for reassurance but still that joy didn't quite reach her eyes. She then turned to look back down for the rest of the drive, staying quiet. How stupid could she have been, to have friends? She was only making Kilo angry. It was her fault- even if he wasn't mad at her. If she had never befriended Bucky then what reason would Kilo have to be mad?

As they arrived at Winnie's house she struggled to keep up a brave face, to pretend everything was normal even as she worried. The anxiety within her had shifted her thoughts, not to Kilo's anger being her fault, but how he would react when she really did something wrong. Would he yell like he had about Bucky? Would he be angrier? Would he lash out? Winnie did so many stupid things, so many things to get angry about. What would Kilo look like when he was really angry at her? Her imagination ran wild as he picked her up, and she snuggled against his chest, unable to keep a false smile on her face anymore and so she closed her eyes, pretending to be tired. She felt comfortable in his arms, evevn as she worried about doing something stupid that would anger him. At least it hadn't happened yet. At least she could enjoy being in his arms for now.

Sage bought them both in and began to take them throughout the fair. He started with the rides, wanting to get all the twisting and turning out of the way first. He took Korren to all of them- all of them except the Ferris wheel, because that was a romantic treat for the end of the day. After he took her through all the rides, he then got them food, reasoning that since there was no more rides to puke on they would be okay. He got a cotton candy for both of them initially, as well as a couple things for himself, and was snacking on a candy bar as they came up to the games. Sage wasted no time in buying some tickets to play, making sure to put his all into winning Korren everything he could. He ended up getting her a couple medium sized animals- a wolf and a fox, and a gigantic stuffed tiger as well. After these he got her a few smaller things as well before getting himself a fried snickers bar to snack on as he finished up with the games. "I don't know where you're going to put all these," he said, his tone light and airy as he took a bit off the bar.

Kilo looked down at her, noticing the worry set on her face, which sent a pit to his stomach. What had he done? Outbursting in front of her like that was not okay, and yet he couldn't help it. This gave him all the more reason to internalize, since if he hurt her he would never forgive himself. For a moment he stood there, holding on to her as he stood in front of the doorway. He looked at the door, then down to her with a sorrowful expression, closing his eyes for a beat. "I'm sorry," He said, unsure of how else to word how he felt. There was no way he could pretend that her feelings and emotions were. He had to treat her like a person, which is what he wasn't use to doing with himself. She was a person with feelings and thoughts different than his, and he had to get over himself. "I love you, Winnie. I'm sorry for being so rash. I don't want anyone to hurt you, I really don't. I'm scared for you. I'm worried." Kilo cradled her in his arms moving to brush her hair behind her ear, trying his best to be as gentle as possible. His voice was low and quiet as he looked at her, doing everything he could to be kind to her. He attempted a smile, though it faltered. How could he fake something so stupid as a smile? And yet, as stupid as it was, it was such an important gesture. Instead of going inside, he sat down on the steps, holding her in his arms for a bit. There was silence. He looked out upon the neighborhood, seeing vibrant colors of neighboring flower beds, with the colors clashing together to form this beautiful utopia. It was almost as if neighborhoods like these were the neutral zones, where neither poor nor rich teenagers clashed and fought each other. It was peaceful. "Maybe just a few minutes longer out here. I'll take you inside, I promise." His voice was mellow and softened while he looked out, soaking in the area. In a way he was distracting himself from the present, distracting himself of his own emotions. Someday this avoidance would bite him in the rear, but for now it at least helped. He held on to Winnie, careful to make sure she had every option to leave him, to go inside and leave him to his own thoughts out here.

If only he could have lived here, and he even wondered what life would have been like. Maybe his mother wouldn't have to suffer through paying rent, and he wouldn't have to work as hard as he usually did. But alas he would deal with this thought later, when he was fully alone with his thoughts. For now, he stayed with Winnie.

He settled her to sit in his lap, wrapping his arms loosely around her. With her in his arms it helped him calm down, and helped forget about the world around him. He kissed her forehead, smoothing his hand over her back. During this his head moved to lay on her shoulder, letting out a deep breath.

Korren had been caught up with the day, screaming in excitement whenever they went on the rides and clutching on to Sage's hand the whole way through them all. Each time the ride took a dive down she would close her eyes, yet still be smiling the whole way through. She took the food that was given to her, eating it in between conversing. Soon they headed over to the games and won multiple stuffed animals. She hugged the tiger close to her chest as he played. By the end of playing she had already eaten what she needed to. Korren chuckle, smiling all the while. "Somewhere in my room. Maybe you can keep some for safe keeping." She stuck her tongue out at him, her smile brightening as they walked along the pavement. It had been at least an hour or two of fun. Her vocal chords would be dead by tomorrow but that was okay. While she walked she squeezed the large stuffed tiger, holding it close to her chest. It was soft and she loved it, since Sage had gotten it just for her. From now on she surely would be using it as a pillow to rest on, since it was just as soft as any other pillow.

"It's okay," Winnie whispered, clinging onto him with everything she had. She didn't want to make Kilo feel guilty for something that wasn't his fault. "I love you, Tyler. I don't want you to feel bad I just... I don't want you to be mad at me and I just... I can't help feeling like this is my fault," she admitted weakly, wanting to tell him what she felt in hopes he could reassure her. "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me and I don't want to do something stupid and screw it up." She curled into him, kissing his chin gently as she relaxed against him, never wanting to leave where they sat on that front porch but knowing she'd have to eventually. She had homework to do, and she still had to help Chloe.

As his head rested on her shoulder she told herself she would stay with him as long as he needed, carefully running her fingers through his hair and humming quietly. She could tell he was thinking about something, and while part of her wanted to pry, she was much too passive to ask for now. So instead she just held him, keeping her fingers brushing his hair back. "I love you with all my heart, Ty," she whispered, repeating what she had already said, wanting to reassure him, to reassure the situation. She had overreacted and she realized that now. She only hoped he wouldn't think about it too hard.

"I'll keep the cute little fox then. Reminds me of you," he said, before leaning down and kissing her deeply. It was only for a moment before he pulled back again, looking towards the ferris wheel with a grin. "Now there's still one last thing to do, love, and that's the ride with the best view of them all." Sage took her hand in his own, squeezing gently as he began to lead them both towards the ferris wheel. "I've had a lot of girls in my life but I've never taken one on the ferris wheel. Been waiting for that special someone and luckily I found her." He winked at Korren, kissing the back of her hand as he led her along. "The view up top is almost as breathtaking as you, my love." He kissed her temple before stopping in the line for the ferris wheel, which was rather long as always. At least he could enjoy the wait with Korren.

Kilo listened to her, loving the comfort she shared with him, running her fingers through his hair. It felt nice, rather than the ragged strokes that he usually brushed through his hair when he was frustrated. This was more calming and gave a positive feeling he couldn't quite describe as anything other than peace. "None of this is your fault, doll. I'd never think such a thing." He barely spoke in a whisper, holding on to her as she reassured him that she still loved him. It was a relief to know this, and it helped him keep his mind on the moment at hand. There was a minute of silence, where they just sat there and comforted each other. He knew it couldn't last forever, but he could dream.

Once he had successfully calmed down, he slowly picked her up, opened the door and carried her inside. It must have been exhausting for her to be dealing with him. He set her down on the couch and kissed her forehead. "I'll see you later, mi amor." Once she had been set down, he started to walk off to the door to leave, knowing he would have to respect Dalton's rule and her privacy as well.

Korren smiled, chuckling for a moment before receiving a deep kiss. She would have gotten into it had it lasted longer, yet it didn't. Her gaze averted to the ferris wheel, noticing how large the contraption the ride was and how high it went. It definitely made her nervous to where her face drained from color, though she had Sage by her side. She tried not to be nervous, and smiled as he spoke. Out of all of the girls he had dated, she was the one to be brought to the ferris wheel. Although she feared the ferris wheel, she was honored by this fact. She blushed at his few complimenting comments, smiling brighter as he kissed her hand, then her temple. In the long line she leaned against Sage, hugging her stuffed animal tight.

The wait was rather long, consisting of taking a few steps every few minutes or so. She didn't mind the wait in the slightest, since she had Sage to talk to and enjoy his over all presence in a bustling environment. Since it was coming closer to sunset, fireworks would be lit off soon simply for the enjoyment of others to see it. The colors of the sky began to clash together, sending beautiful hues to mix in the sky. The peaceful scenery settled Korren down, and made her excited to see all that Sage had been waiting for her to see. She wondered if they could see the town from above, though she didn't want to ask. If she asked there would have been no point in going up and just experiencing it first hand without a care or thought in the world.

Winnie grinned as Kilo picked her up, cuddling up against him as he took her inside. She slid out of his arms rather slowly though, not wanting to leave him just yet. Kilo was her ground and her sanity, and she didn't want to let him go. Even if she was scared of making him mad, she wasn't scared of him. As she sat on the couch and watched him leave she frowned slightly, deciding she couldn't let him go just yet. Winnie pushed herself up to her feet before rushing over to him, grabbing his shirt collar and pulling him into a kiss by the door. Her fingers knotted in his shirt and she tilted her head slightly, allowing the kiss to go on for a bit before finally pulling away, smiling at her him as she looked up at her love, breathless. "Pick me up early tomorrow, okay? I want us to go get breakfast together. It'll be fun," she added, giving him another quick peck on the cheek before walking back towards the couch, smiling to herself. She knew Kilo had to leave since Dalton wasn't home but she had to get her goodbye in. And even though she was grounded, that didn't mean she couldn't get breakfast, right? It was the most important meal, after all, so she was sure Dalton wouldn't mind too much.

As they waited in line Sage kept his arm wrapped around Korren. They seemed to only inch along which was irritating, but he hid his impatience by offering sweet kisses to Korren when he got too bored, or kissing her cheek or temple, or once he was feeling bold, her neck. Though since they were in public he didn't try to make out with her, not wanting to make her feel embarrassed in any way.

As they finally reached the front of the line, Sage gave the man their tickets to ride, and then discreetly slipped him an extra twenty to stop them at the top when the fireworks started. He wanted Korren to have a nice night, and he was determined to do this cute ferris wheel ride before he took her home where they could cuddle all over again. The man opened the door and Sage led Korren in, sitting on one side of the swinging box as he looked out at the environment around them, excited for her to see the top.

Kilo had been almost out the door when Winnie rushed up, pulling him into a kiss. It surprised him, though with eyes widened and hands slacked at his side, he kissed her back. He had deepened the kiss along with her, with his hands moving up to her waist. As it went on he slightly pulled her closer, closing his eyes all the while. He took quick breaths when it was over, smiling down at her as well. "Alright." His hands moved back to be stuffed into his pockets, watching as Winnie crossed back over to the couch. "See you in the morning, babe." With that he slowly shut the door, sighing as he left the home. As painful as it was to leave her like this, he had to. He walked over to his car, climbing into the driver's seat. For a moment he just sat there looking out at Winnie's home. Worry overcame what would happen when Chloe came to her house. He started to drive off, heading towards the gym.

Once he got there, he immediately went to bench press, then jog for 6 miles straight, then worked on a form of boxing. This was his time to release all of his frustrations physically. He worked harder today than he's done on a normal routine for many reasons. Since he hasn't been to the gym in a few days he needed to make up for that, and he had a lot on his mind at the time. The thought of Bucky fueled him with hatred to push through workouts. It took a half an hour to bench press, and would take an hour or more to jog 9.6km on the treadmill. Point being, it would be a while before he could finally release his anger fully out through boxing.

Korren held on to two stuffed animals, leaning against Sage during the wait. It was boring to be waiting in such a long line, though every now and then she received kisses. She chuckled in between a few, though sweetly kissed back when she could. When he kissed her neck, she immediately melted, hiding her face in the tiger's processed fur. The stuffed animal help stifle any noises that quietly escaped her. She bit her lip, holding back any rash feelings or decisions amidst the crowd. Her voice was drowned out by those around her while they freely held conversations. It made her nervous to think that someone could have heard her or judged the way they were showing affection. In attempt to avoid the awkwardness, she poked his side to be playful and distract herself from what she was currently feeling.

Finally they reached the front of the line, and nervously Korren climbed into the box while holding his hand. As she sat down, she set down the stuffed animals on the seat and floor, holding the wolf close to her since it was smaller than the tiger, plus it was fluffier and felt plushier than the latter. She leaned against Sage, closing her eyes as the box slightly swayed on the way up to the top of the ferris wheel. There was the unavoidable feeling of anxiety in her stomach, feeling as though they could fall off and crash into the pavement below. This thought scared her, and she scooted up to be directly against him, placing her head against his chest.
After a few minutes they were finally at the top. The ride stopped, though the box slightly still rocked from side to side.

After Kilo had left, Winnie had taken a moment on the couch to collect her thoughts before heading up to her room, pulling out all her homework to start on. She started with math, that being her least favorite. Winnie worked intently on her homework for the next couple hours, struggling through it in hopes of getting it all done in a timely matter.

Winnie had just finished all her homework when she heard the knock on the door. She looked up from where she sat on her bed, momentarily confused before she remembered Chloe was coming over for a bit, and quickly packed up her stuff before heading downstairs. When she answered the door she found Chloe standing there, sketchbook in hand, obviously ready to talk business. "Hey, Winnie. I brought my designs," Chloe called excitedly, walking in. "My party starts in an hour. I'm having the boys set it up while I'm here," she explained, walking towards the living room with a comfort of someone who owned the place. Chloe looked around, obviously unimpressed by the house size though she smiled anyways, pretending to like it for Winnie's sake. "Alright, that's cool. Show me what you got," Winnie said, following after Chloe. They both ended up sitting on the couch, looking over Chloe's designs and talking animatedly about the color choices and even the designs themselves. Both girls loved this kind of thing, and they both got lost in it for a moment- but only a moment- before Chloe's phone rang. She answered it with a sharp "What?" and after some murmurs and an annoyed sigh from Chloe, she rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "Fine, come to Winnie's place. I'm over here-"

"Chloe, I can't have people over," Winnie said quickly. "Dalton would kill me." She hoped her friend would understand, but Chloe's quiet look made Winnie think otherwise. Finally, Chloe smiled, giggling as she shook her head. "Oh, I'm not inviting anyone over, Winnie, Bucky is just locked out of my house. He needs to swing by to get the key is all. Won't be but a few seconds. Hey, can I get us some sodas really fast? I'm really thirsty," Chloe added, getting to her feet. "Oh um, sure." Winnie nodded, and Chloe took herself and the rest of her conversation to the kitchen. When she got back she was off the phone, and offered Winnie a cold glass of soda that she gratefully drank. It tasted a little weird, almost like diet, which is weird since they didn't have diet drinks in the fridge, but Winnie didn't think too much about it the more she drank.

Bucky got there about twenty minutes later with about half the football team. He didn't bother knocking, just let them all in. By this point, Winnie was leaning towards drunk though she still obviously knew something was wrong because she jumped to her feet when the boys all walked in. "Hey, you guys can't be here. I thought it was just Bucky coming," Winnie said, looking down at Chloe. Chloe rolled her eyes. Again. "Bucky, I told you Winnie couldn't have guests." Chloe got to her feet, glaring at Bucky, though out of Winnie's frightful gaze she winked at him. "Come on boys, let's get you-" Bucky smacked her, pushing Chloe to the ground like a rag doll before walking up to Winnie with a smirk. "It's funny. I told someone this was going to happen. Guess they didn't really care."

Winnie was still in shock. Had Bucky really just hit Chloe? Her friend? Was he always like that? Her mind was too fuzzy to think straight as she was dragged upstairs, her mind too dull to understand what was happening until she was thrown on her bed, and then it all made perfect sense in a slow motion sort of way that terrified her. "Wait, wait stop! Stop!" She shrieked, even as Bucky began to duct tape her wrists together. Where had the duct tape come from? What was happening? Why were there five guys surrounding her? And was that... music? The dull throb of it vibrated against her house and it took quite a long time for Winnie to register that the music was not just music, but also quite a bit of voices meshing together in the form of a house party- happening in her own house when she was supposed to be grounded.

By the time she realized this, one of the guys had already called dibs on being first. First for what? She thought, and then she remembered, and her breathing quickened and she screamed and tears sprung out of her eyes but still it was all a little blurry and dull around the edges. What had happened to her senses? Why couldn't she fully comprehend yet understand everything all too well? She couldn't come up with an answer as her first panic attack of the night hit her hard, and everything turned black.

She woke up to a new face hovering over her, unsure of what was happening until she remembered and she saw, and then the cycle rinsed and repeated. Only this time she cried harder and this time everything was a little fuzzier, and her screams were quiet because her throat hurt and her body was weak and her mind was numb and she just wanted it all to stop, to wake up from this nightmare- if only she could.

Sage smiled as Korren cuddled close to him, holding her hand tight as the ferris wheel began to roll upwards towards the top. He hummed quietly, moving his hand from hers to around her waist the higher they got, pulling her closer against him, and then into his lap. Soon the ride stopped though, right at the top, and the view was spectacular. You could just see the night stars beginning to poke out, and the moon was quite high in the sky, shining down vibrantly against them. "Take a look, Korren, it's a pretty view." It wasn't that you could see the entire fair from the top of the ferris wheel, it was that you could see the entire city. The neighborhoods, the stores, the school, the tall office buildings down town. It was everything. And it all looked so small from up at the top of that ferris wheel, but that wasn't even the best part.

All at once the fireworks started, and as they did Sage grinned, allowing Korren some time to soak in the show before turning her to face him and kissing her gently to seal the night with a brilliant kiss. Only, his gentleness faded a bit the longer he kissed her in the privacy of their own little world at the top of the wheel. Sage remembered her reaction from kissing her neck and was quick to try it again, trailing kisses down her jaw line to her neck.

Kilo had finished his workout, sweating profusely as the sun faded behind the hills. He left the gym with a water bottle in hand, waving to the clerk at the counter as he pushed the doors open. In the car the timer said it was around 7pm, the time he would have to check up on Wiinie. He rushed to a store to grab chocolates for her and drove off to her house as fast as he could. Something in his stomach didn't settle right. Maybe it was the fact that he couldn't contact her over the phone, but having Chloe over was sketchy.

Once he drove into the driveway, he noticed multiple cars and the door to her house swung wide open. Clearly there was something going on, which made him panic. At an almost inhuman speed he rushed out of the car, running in to the home. Music was blasting through the house, while people were grinding and suggestively dancing against each other in the living room. Some couples were making out in the kitchen, while upstairs he could hear muffled screams. Winnie. He shoved past people, moving them out of the way and running to the stairs. Some people were dancing and making out on the staircase, by which he easily shoved them out of the way. Hateful glares were sent his way but he didn't care. He barged into Winnie's room to find a horrific display in front of him. Winnie had been stripped of dignity, control, and clothing. His anger went ballistic, and he had no control of what happened next. "You worthless pieces of shit good for nothing preps." Kilo grumbled with a hiss to his voice as he marched up to the guy that was on her and yanked him off, throwing him off the bed. Any guy who tried to stop him he punched in the face. Four guys attacked him at once, coming at him full force from the front and back. He tumbled backwards to smack the guy behind him into a wall, while kneeing the one in front of him in the stomach. The other two he grabbed by the hair and smacked their heads together as hard as he could. It was all a blur of limbs to him, though he was managing to last in the fight. In a blind rage he punched Bucky dead in the face, not holding back for a minute, and sent the boy down to the ground.

While the boys were recovering, he picked up Winnie and carried her out of her very own house, running as fast as he could to put her in the car. Without a second thought he pulled off his shirt, carefully placing it over her so she could wear it. He pulled out his phone when he hopped into the driver's seat, calling Sage. Immediately it went to voicemail, and he rapidly spoke. "Sage, I need you man, quick. It's an emergency, Bucky and his friends came over, I need to drive them out. Winnie's hurt real bad." He glanced over to Winnie, taking her hand. "I'm here, baby doll. You're safe. I'll be right outside the car, keep the doors locked. I will protect you." With that he carefully kissed her hand, putting it carefully down. There was nothing else he could do but stay there and defend her with his life, only hoping that help would arrive soon. He exited the car, shutting the door behind him and standing outside in front of the car. If anyone so much as walked near the car he would beat them up.

Korren curled into his lap, resting her head against his chest as they sat high up in the air, suspended way above the ground. She looked when he mentioned the view. At first she was very cautious of doing so, though at the collision of colors it was difficult to refuse such a wonderful sight. You could see the whole city from there. "Woah." She said in amazement, looking around with curious widened eyes. All at once the fireworks began, lighting up the sky with beautiful patterns and loud booms. Her smile brightened along with the night sky clashing with fireworks. She sighed, loving the view. Never would she forget such an amazing sight.

Her attention was broken away from the view when her head was turned to Sage, met with a gentle kiss to top off her night. If a smile could spread wider than the cheeks limited, she would be smiling with the widest grin imaginable. She closed her eyes, falling deeper into the kiss as it went on. Almost she had moved her hands to his hair, though let them rest around his neck. Slowly they moved down to wrap around his waist, holding on tightly. Her breathing was rigid and uncontrolled, as were her emotions. When he pulled away, she took deep yet shaky breaths. Her breath hitched as he moved to plant kisses over her neck. Immediately her face was consumed with blush, with desirable feelings being pushed to the brink. She gripped a handful of his shirt in a tight fist, pressing her head against his chest to ground herself. A satisfied sigh escaped her lips through short breaths. She tried her best to control her breathing, though it was difficult at that very moment.

Winnie had been falling in and out of consciousness up until she felt herself being picked up. Her eyes fluttered open to see Kilo holding her, and she sobbed in relief. Her arms weakly moved to wrap around him, but she was shaking so violently they just fell back onto her stomach, and she closed her eyes, struggling to breathe as Kilo carried her out of her house before setting her in the passenger seat of his car. Winnie struggled to help him put the tee shirt on, before sitting there quietly, tears running down her face as she struggled to get through her panic. When Kilo took her hand it got easier but then scarier all at once. What if he didn't want her anymore? Now that she had been ruined. Hadn't he called her innocent before? And now she was anything but that. When he let go of her hand she sobbed, not wanting him to get out of the car, to leave her alone, but he was already out. Winnie whined, reaching for the door handle and struggling with her shaking hands for a long moment before finally pushing her door open. It took much longer to stand, to face him, and then even longer to talk. Her voice was weak and it cracked from all the screaming from before. "Ty... Ty I don't wanna be alone. Don't make me be alone," she said weakly, looking up at him with fear and pain in her eyes. It was hard to stand on her own so she leaned heavily against the car, just wanting to be held by him.

Sage smirked slightly as Korren seemed to get into their kiss. Her reaction was just what he was going for, and part of him wanted to throw caution to the wind but he knew he couldn't do that. Not with Korren. She was too important to him and besides, it was then that his phone rang. Sage struggled to pull away, but by the time he did it was too late. The phone had stopped ringing and there was a voicemail waiting for him. He kissed Korren one last time. "Hold on, babe, it's from Kilo." Even if Sage was mad at his friend, he definitely wasn't going to ignore him. He clicked on the voicemail, pressing the phone to his ear just as the ferris wheel started moving again.

As he listened, his face went pale. Bucky? He had gotten to Winnie's house? Sage shook his head slightly. "Oh no," he mumbled, quickly hanging up after he heard the message. "Korren we gotta go. Winnie's in trouble and Kilo can't help her alone." As the ferris wheel stopped to let them off, Sage grabbed Korren's hand, pulling her at a fast pace, running through the crowds. Fighting or not, Kilo was always a priority to Sage. He was his best guy friend and he would never leave him in the dark- especially not when it came to Bucky.

Kilo turned to see her rush out of the car, and was about to scold her had she not spoken. His eyes softened painfully to see her in such a crippled display. She couldn't even stand on her own right now. "Okay, I won't leave. I promise." He spoke quietly, picking her up to move to the back seat. Once he laid her on the seat, he shut the door and reached up to manually lock the door. He placed her head on his lap, running his fingers carefully through her hair. At the moment he was extra careful not to hurt her or brush through any tangles. He grabbed her hand, careful to hold on. Help was on its way, and he only hoped they would be coming soon, but for now he stayed to comfort Winnie and help her through it all. The next time he so much as saw Bucky and his friends, there was no certainty that he could hold back from ripping the kid to shreds. He leaned down and placed a careful kiss on her temple, looking over her with regret. If he hadn't have left, none of this would have happened. Kilo knew that Chloe couldn't be trusted, and he should have just stayed no matter what Winnie might have said about it. "I'm never going to let them hurt you again." He whispered, looking up at the doorway to her home. Kids were even making out on the porch and flooded the home, and hopefully his friend would have gotten his message. There was no way he could drive them all out on his own and protect Winnie all at once.

Korren had kept herself grounded to him, regulating her breathing as well as she could under the circumstances. Naturally she pushed herself closer, being fully against him the whole way through. She hadn't noticed the buzzing, being too carried away to even care about her surroundings. Such deep emotions as the ones she felt now made her nervous, but she couldn't stop them. In a way it was relieving for it all to be stopped by Sage. She relaxed more after having so much tension just before they could push it any further. With one last kiss, she pulled back and sat there in his lap, looking up at him. From the look on his face when he answered the phone, things weren't okay. There was no need for her to ask what was wrong either, since Sage clearly stated it. What he said made her face turn white. That poor girl that she met the other day was in trouble. She picked up the stuffed animals and followed him quickly out of the park. As they barraled through she questioned in her mind who was hurting her, though since she was tangled with the popular crowd she had a good idea of a few people that might have hurt her.

Winnie relaxed as Kilo picked her up, her shaking beginning to calm as he took her to the back seat instead, laying her head in his lap. As his fingers ran through her hair, she closed her eyes, her ragged breathing slowly but surely beginning to calm. "I love you, Ty," she whispered, wanting him to know that, and also hoping he would say it back. She needed his reassurance to feel okay for the moment. Though he had mentioned he was going to protect her, she was still worried about everything, about what had happened to her and how that would affect them. The drugs were starting to wear off, and so her mind was beginning to clear of the haze that had been draped over it and she rested her hand on Kilo's knee, biting her lip. "Do you think I'm damaged goods, now?" she asked weakly, afraid of this answer more than anything. What if his image of her was completely ruined, and she was no longer someone he could see as pretty. She kept her eyes closed, not wanting to see his reaction, only waiting for an answer in her darkness.

If Korren had thought Sage drove wildly beforehand there was no telling what she thought now. Sage had floored it to Winnie's house, and the car was brushing around a hundred and twenty miles per hour which would be difficult to control if not for the fact that Sage's Mustang went even faster and he was a master at turns and swerving in that car, so in truth this was just child's play for him. As they got to her house, Sage swung into the driveway, throwing it in park. "Korren, you stay in the car. Keep it locked, and I don't have time to argue so just do it," he added, not wanting her to play the I'm coming with you game like he knew some of his other friends would have.

Sage got out of the car and first rushed over to Kilo's, opening the driver's door and looking in. Poor Winnie. She looked horrible. "Hey, I'm here. I'm gonna get all these bitches out of the house, you just keep your girl comfortable, okay?" he said, although he didn't bother waiting for an answer before he closed the door and headed inside.

Most people were smart enough to be afraid of Sage, so when he turned the music off and hopped up on the coffee table, the room went quiet. "If you're not all out of this house in five minutes I'll kill someone!" he yelled, and for just one moment everyone was very still, and then in a flurry, they all started sprinting out of the house. No one would dare call Sage on his bluff considering all the rumors about him being a murderer. At one point, ahead of blonde hair disappeared through the door and Sage scowled, knowing it was Chloe. It was then that quite a few guys came from upstairs, they all looked beat up, but four of them still had the nerve to brag about what they had done, and it made Sage furious. Though before he could stop them and give them a few more hits, Bucky came strolling down the stairs with a smirk and a bloody nose. Sage settled on stopping him. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" he hissed. Bucky only chuckled. "Me? What's wrong with you, Sage? Threatening to kill people is pretty bad."

"And gangbanging a girl isn't?" He cried out, obviously furious by this. Bucky shrugged. "She's too stupid for her own good. Something bad was bound to-" Sage slammed his fist against Bucky's face, unable to hold back at that comment, as if she deserved it. "You're a sad fucking excuse for a human." Sage growled, kicking Bucky hard as he went down.

"What's going on here?" Dalton had strolled into his home, blowing right past Kilo's car and missing his daughter entirely, instead finding Sage beating up a kid in the living room as the last of the party scrambled out of his house. Sage turned to look at Dalton. "Sir, this.... this son of a bitch did some really bad shit to Winnie." Dalton's face morphed from confusion to a twisted sort of calm, something that even scared Sage as he glanced down at Bucky, who was only just starting to get up. "What did you do to my little girl?" he hissed. Bucky stayed quiet, obviously a little scared of the parental figure he hadn't expected to have to answer to. "He took four other guys up into her room with her," Sage answered, and while he wasn't specifying anything, this was enough for Dalton. He stepped out of the way, watching as Dalton crossed the living room and punched Bucky in the gut as hard as he could, before swinging another hit to his face. Sage snickered. Now Bucky had been hit by three separate people in one night. Only unlike Sage, Dalton had the decency to stop after two hits, and he stepped back, taking a breath. "And who are you?" he asked, looking towards Sage. "Kilo's best friend. He called me for back up. Winnie's safe right now." Dalton nodded once. "I want this bastard's information. I'm going to lock him up." Bucky pushed himself to his feet slowly, and glanced once at Dalton, a little frightened by that comment obviously. Sage grabbed Bucky's arm. "I'll get it, sir," he muttered, dragging Bucky out of the house.

"Oh how cute, you're pretending to be respectful," Bucky sneered, pulling out of Sage's grip as they got outside. He walked over to Kilo's car before Sage could stop him, knocking on the back window. Winnie glanced up as Bucky looked in and waved, and a scream left her lungs as she sat up so quickly her head hit the top of the car. She rapidly backed up to the other side of the back seat, already in the midst of a panic attack. Sage rushed over, grabbing Bucky and dragging him away as fast as he could, sending an apologetic look to Kilo. "Bucky, stop egging Kilo on. He'll actually kill you," Sage growled, and Bucky only snickered at that, He walked over to his car, looking back at Sage. "Well on the bright side, now that I've thoroughly fucked up Winnie, and I can go back to fucking up Korren," and with that he got inside and drove off, and Sage glanced back at Korren's car, walking over to it to check on her.

Kilo looked down at her, unable to smile as he watched her be so broken. His brow arched in a painful manner, hearing how broken her voice was. "I love you too, Winnie. With all of my heart." Worry filled his eyes. Not once did he want her to believe that she was less than who she was. The next time she spoke, she asked such a horrible question. Those boys hurt her so badly that she now didn't even seem to love herself. "No, nonono, Winnie." He shifted her to hold her in his arms, hugging her. "You are perfection, don't think otherwise. I love you for who you are, inside and out. You're my lovely doll." He rubbed her back soothingly, making sure to keep his hands on her back and nowhere else. In no way, shape, or form did he want to let her think that he had that intent at all. As he held her, he saw people piling out of the building. Sage's car was parked behind his, which relieved him of former stress, though he still worried. When Sage opened the door, he nodded to him. "Alright."

Dalton entered later after Sage, which Kilo knew would end badly. In the end though, Sage was dragging Bucky out of the house. Immediately when Bucky walked up to the car to mess with Winnie, he sent a deathly glare to the guy. I'm gonna kill him. Winnie had panicked, and he crawled over as she pressed herself to the opposite side of the car. "Woah, Winnie. Shh, love." He pulled her carefully into his arms, moving to make it so she couldn't look at Bucky. "I'm here. He's not going to hurt you anymore."

Korren sat patiently in the car, pulling the seat belt over her to make sure she didn't fly out the window if they stopped abruptly. Out of anxiety she clutched on to her stuffed animals, holding them with all of her might. Just to make sure she didn't scare herself too badly, she kept her eyes off the road and dug her face into the plush animals.

When they arrived, she looked at Sage. He was serious about what he said, and she quickly nodded. Knowing that there was a party going on, she didn't want anything to do with what was going on. Patiently she waited, looking around the area for any people nearby. As the people poured out of the home, which scared her. One of them could have been Bucky. She ducked under, hiding beneath the glove box, holding her knees to her chest. Fear struck through her. What if he saw her car? What if he came over? Sage was busy with taking care of people inside of the house, perhaps he was mixed in with the crowd. She didn't dare look outside of the car once, knowing someone would know her face when they saw her. The voices that poured from the house calmed down, though she could hear two others. One of them was Bucky. She froze, clutching a smaller animal close to her chest. The voices were muffled, so she couldn't completely hear what they were saying, though it didn't sound good. The voices then went quiet with the sound of a car engine starting and shooting off into the night. She heard some food steps near to the car, which made her heart go erratic. What if that wasn't Bucky that left? No, it had to be Sage... maybe. All she could do was clutch the fox close to her chest, digging her face into the fur. Fear shook through her, causing the blood in her face to drain away.

Winnie curled up in Kilo's arms, shaking horribly all over again, struggling to keep herself awake. It took quite a bit of strength- strength she really didn't have but forced anyways, to calm down. Eventually though, she was relaxed against Kilo again, feeling protected in arms. It took even longer for her to say something. "I don't feel perfect," she whispered, rested her head on his chest. Bucky had truly frightened her. "I should have listened. It's my fault. I should have listened to you," she mumbled, feeling tears spring up in her eyes, feeling them slide down her cheeks.

Dalton headed outside after everyone was gone, walking over to Kilo's car. He saw them both in the backseat, Winnie crying in his lap as he held her. He was grateful for Kilo in that moment, that he had been there to take care of her. He tried to open the door, but it was locked, although his attempt made Winnie look up. As soon as she saw Dalton, she scrambled to open the door, crawling out of Kilo's lap and moving to hug Dalton tight. "You're home, you're home, I'm sorry," she cried out, and Dalton hugged Winnie tight in his arms, glancing at Kilo once. He needed to talk to him, but Winnie was his first priority. "Sh, it's okay sweetie. You didn't do anything wrong." Dalton held Winnie as she cried, feeling bad for his daughter, horrible even. What if Kilo had been here from the start? Maybe then none of this would have happened. That made it his fault, then. He had put his little girl in danger. How stupid of him, to deny her the one person who could protect her when he was gone. He kissed the top of her head as she cried into his shoulder, picking her up carefully. "Come on, Sweetie, let's get you inside. Kilo, come on. I gotta clean up her room and I'll need you to stay with her." He said. "I don't know if you're missing work or not but I'll pay you anyways," he added, before taking Winnie inside and setting her down on the couch. The house was truly a mess but he wanted to clean Winnie's room first so that way she'd have somewhere to stay while he got the rest of the house in order. "Now Darling, I need you to promise me you're not going to blame yourself for this, alright? You couldn't have known any of this would happen," he said, smoothing back her hair. Winnie sniffed loudly and nodded, though she didn't say anything, and Dalton headed upstairs to go pick her room up for her and change the sheets.

Sage noticed he didn't see Korren in the car and walked up to it, opening the door. "Hey love, everyone's gone now. You can get out if you want." He said, though he frowned as he realized the position she was in. "Korren, I wasn't going to let anybody come over here and hurt you," he said, reaching for her hand. "Come on, give me a little credit," he added jokingly. Sage kissed the back of her hand, tilting her chin up to kiss her forehead quickly. "Let's go inside. I need to talk to Kilo to see how everything's going and help clean up and Winnie could use a friend right now, especially someone who's dealt with Bucky and could offer some advice." Whether he liked her or not, Sage wouldn't wish something like this on his worst enemy, and so he wanted to make sure Winnie was mentally okay. Of course, he knew she wouldn't be, but he wanted her to get better, to be okay with herself, because no one should have to go through the self-doubt that was most likely plaguing her mind right about now.

Kilo held her close, hushing her in a gentle manner. The repetitive motion of rubbing her back kept on to sooth her and keep her calm. All he wanted was for her to be okay, though that would take some time. He didn't know what to say to her. What could he say to it? She chose not to listen, though that wasn't her fault. None of it was her fault. He brushed away her tears with his thumb, trying his best to be what she needed. The sound of attempts on the door being opened jolted his attention to it, seeing Dalton outside. Winnie had opened the door and scrambled out, holding on to her father tightly. He climbed out behind her, watching as they had their moment. His eyes met with Dalton's, shifting down to look at Winnie. There was no doubt in his mind that he felt horrible for what happened to her. If he had just stayed... god, if only he wasn't so stupid. He nodded and followed them inside. "Gladly, sir." His voice was mellow, lacking any enthusiasm for the situation. When Winnie was placed down, he cleaned up the living room area around her so that she didn't have to see the mess. He did a quick sweep through for trash and threw it all out, before proceeding to get a fleece blanket for Winnie. He pulled it over her form, wrapping her in the warm blanket. For now he sat next to her, though didn't get under the blanket with her. There was no way he was going to break boundaries after what had happened to her tonight. He reached for her hand, intertwining fingers as they sat there together.

Korren looked up to see Sage, feeling less anxiety by the confirmation that everyone was gone. She blushed, looking down at the animal she held in her hands.Surely she should have known better than to hide in fear when Sage was right there for her, but she just couldn't help it. Just the sight of Bucky frightened her, so imagining that he saw her there would have been a nightmare. She squeezed his hand as he grabbed hers, climbing out from under the glove box. Korren faintly smiled at him, though did feel bad for not trusting him. Besides, it wasn't suppose to be about her right now. This was about Winnie, and how the poor girl just suffered a fate that no one should be put through. What could she say to Winnie? There was nothing encouraging to say about Bucky. He would never stop until he got what he wanted, and in his case he never is satisfied. She climbed out of the car and held Sage'a hand the whole way through. At this moment she had to be strong for the others, to think of something helpful that she could say, though words were tricky. "Okay," She spoke in a quiet voice, still daunted by the fact that Bucky had been there only minutes before. Nervously she walked to the door, holding Sage's hand the whole way through.

Winnie looked over at Kilo slowly as he held her hand. She slowly pulled away from him, adjusting the blanket so it was over the both of them and crawling into his lap. "Please hold me, Ty. Please don't let go," she whispered, her fingers tangling into his shirt as she snuggled up against him. She felt used and worthless, and she needed his gentle touch to keep her sane. She needed him. He was her guardian angel after all. Her dog tags pressed against her, and the meager weight of them was a nice reminder of them. She closed her eyes as she rested against him, feeling herself beginning to drift off when suddenly Bucky's image crept into her mind. She could feel the bruises forming on her arm from where he had dragged her, and she opened her eyes, looking down at her arm. Dark splotches were forming where he had grabbed her. "He grabbed me," she whispered. "He just started dragging me upstairs. I... I didn't know what was going on. Everything was blurry." She looked up at him, resting her forehead against his and breathing heavily, still terrified even though the danger was gone. "I don't know what was wrong with me but they... they're were so many of them and they all surrounded me in my room... and then they- they-" she sobbed, burying her face in Kilo's shirt to cry. How long would it have gone on if Kilo hadn't shown up? She didn't want to think about that.

Sage led them inside and walked over to Kilo and Winnie. The poor girl was crying. Sage gently tapped her shoulder, and she looked up, a fresh batch of fear flashing in her eyes. "Hey sweetheart," he cooed gently. "Do you want something to drink or eat? I'll get you whatever you want." Sage kept his voice low and kind, knowing Winnie was going through one of the worst moments in her life. He just wanted to make it easier on her, so that maybe she could get through it faster. "Can I have some w- water?" she stumbled, and Sage smiled softly and nodded. "Sure thing, sweetheart. It's coming right up." Sage led Korren into the kitchen for now, deciding Kilo and Winnie would need some time before they could really get involved. "We should probably clean this up for them." He waked over to the cabinets, looking through them for a bit before finding a glass and putting some ice in it before filling it up with water. He headed out of the kitchen and walked over. "Here you go, Winnie," he said and Winnie took the glass of water with shaking hands, thanking Sage quietly. "Your welcome, Hon," he cooed, patting Kilo's shoulder once before heading back to the kitchen to start cleaning. "Poor girl, I hope Kilo can get her through this," he muttered towards Korren as he began throwing plastic cups and empty beer bottles away.

Kilo moved his arms as she crawled into his lap, moving the blanket fully around them as she rested. Gently he held her, hugging her close in an embrace. "I won't let go, doll. I promise, I won't let go." If there was one thing he learned, it was to never be the first to pull away. What she needed was affection and care, and he was going to give that to her. He looked down when she glanced at her arm, noticing dark bruises on her arm. This only fueled his anger more, though he surpressed the emotion so Winnie would not have to see him so frustrated. Their foreheads rested against each other as he listened to what she remembered, though she began to sob. Winnie, the love of his life, was beaten, raped, and drugged. Surely there would be no holding back the next time Kilo saw him, because he would no longer be called Kilo. People would fear him and call him killer, while the police would take him off to a sentence he'd be fully prepared for. He thought of Winnie though, and how she needed him to be there for her. Kilo softly hushed her, brushing away her tears with his thumb. "Shh. They're gone now." He kissed her cheeks, kissing the tears away. It took him a bit to think of what to say, but he needed to say it. There was a brief pause where Sage entered the room and assisted them, acting much nicer than before. Even if Sage ever seemed to be a jerk to others, he never stayed that way when others were in a bad situation. He was a good guy with a bad boy appeal. When he came back, Kilo nodded towards him in a respectful manner. It was his own way to say thank you

Kilo looked down at her dog tags and carefully picked it up. It rested in his palm as he brushed his fingers over it. He opened his mouth to speak, with the words falling out soon after. "You know why I got you this?" There was a pause so he could give her time to think about the question. "I got you this because you are a strong and beautiful girl. You are willing to better your life, and that takes guts. I love you so much for who you are, and I will do anything to protect you. I got it because it's a sign that no matter where you are, I'll be right there with you, even if I'm not there physically." He moved to cup his hand under her chin. Each movement was slow and clear, since he was sure that she would need to know what he was doing. He softly kissed her, not pressing into it any further than he needed to. After a minute he pulled away, though pressed their foreheads together. "You're such an amazing girl, don't you ever think otherwise, or else I might have to kiss it out of you." Kilo chuckled lightly, placing a peck on he tip of her nose. Of course he was joking at that moment, though he was serious about her. She was amazing, and she probably didn't believe that right now but she would need to. At that moment he managed a smile for her, wanting and hoping to make her smile.

Korren followed him inside, looking around the house with a sort of curiosity as to what the party-goers did to it. The house was full of trash and alcohol, which made her feel bad. Surely nothing good happened to this girl if it involved Bucky. After they came in, Korren waited patiently before she was guided over to the kitchen. She nodded to what he had said and began to clean up, picking up trash and recycling empty beer bottles or cans. Avidly she worked on cleaning up spilled beer from the ground. She turned to see Sage enter into the kitchen again, feeling sorrowful for this girl. "Yea," Korren agreed quietly, moving to continue working. It took a while, but she managed to clean up as much as she could. When they were done, she sat down at the kitchen table, folding her hands together. She looked out in the direction of the living room, unsure of how to feel. At that moment she was still thinking of whatever she could say to Winnie. It soon hit her though when she saw Kilo interacting with her in such a loving way. It reminded her of that fateful night when Bucky came over and dragged her to the party, treating her like a slut like he always did. Even after Sage's car was blown up, he managed to come to the rescue and save her from that god forsaken mess. If it hadn't been for him, she wouldn't have ever fully gotten out of the loop of abuse and popularity. In a way, Kilo to Winnie was like Sage to Korren, though their situations had many differences. Luckily, Winnie hadn't fully witnessed Bucky's wrath or lust, though from this night she might have felt it to be that way. She didn't want to tell her this though, since such information was unnecessary. There was no need to keep bringing up that dreadful name anymore, especially since they wouldn't be bothered by him so long as Kilo or Sage had a say in it.

Winnie drank a bit of the water before setting it down on the side table and relaxing against Kilo once more. She listened to his words, her tears slowing to a halt as his words sank in. She looked down at the dog tags and squeezed the cool metal in her hand, before looking up at him. As he kissed her, she wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back gently. None of those boys had kissed her. None of them had been so gentle. Her fingers slid up into his hair, tangling in it as he pulled away. She nuzzled her nose against his as she closed her eyes, breathing in his scent. "I don't know what I'd do without you. If you wouldn't have been here then... then they probably would have just kept going and-" Winnie cringed slightly, her breathing quickening, her fingers tightening in his hair though she had half a sense not to pull too hard and hurt him.

It took a long moment before she calmed down again, and her hands slid out of his hair to his chest as she laid against him, exhausted. "I feel dirty," she mumbled, glancing over at the stairs as Dalton came downstairs with a laundry hamper filled with her old sheets and a trash can that held all the trash. He set it all down and walked over to the couch. "Hey, sweetie, your room is all cleaned up. Why don't we let Kilo take you up there?" he said, resting his hand on her shoulder. Winnie looked up at Dalton and nodded once before looking back to Kilo. Dalton looked back at him as well, sending him a look that said I need to talk to you though it would have to be after Winnie was in bed. For now he grabbed up the things he left by the stairs and went to put it all in its place.

Sage walked over to Korren after they were done cleaning. He carefully picked her up and sat down in the chair, moving her to sit in his lap. He kissed her cheek gently, hugging her close and staying quiet for a moment. He knew Bucky's presence had affected her and he wanted to hold her for a moment, to comfort her. "You know, love, I'm going to protect you. I don't want you to be afraid anymore. I get why you are I just... I want you to know that I'm not going to let that bastard hurt you again." He kissed her sweetly, keeping his hands at her waist. If he was being completely honest, knowing what had happened to Winnie scared him too, because he was worried Bucky would try to do something similar to Korren, but he couldn't. Not now. Not when Sage kept her so close and protected her so much. "I love you, Harvard, and I hope you never forget that."

Kilo wrapped his arms around her, holding her close to his chest. She began to speak, to stumble and trip through her words. He held her closer, placing his head over her shoulder. The details she described made him want to track down those boys and massacre them, though he had to be there for Winnie. He smoothed his hand over her back, trying his best to comfort her. "Shh, don't think that way, mi amor." His voice was quiet and smooth. He glanced over to see Dalton climbing down the stairs with laundry and sheets in a hamper to be cleaned. "If it helps, I can start a shower for you, doll." Kilo whispered, kissing her forehead. The moment Dalton walked over to the couch, he looked up at the man and back to Winnie. He briefly smiled at Winnie, though when he looked back at Dalton he was given a look, one that deemed it important for them to talk soon, though not right away. Without a word he nodded once to the man, understanding what he meant. He stood up, holding Winnie in his arms the whole way through. Just in case he made it so the blanket clothed her, since all she was wearing at the moment was an over-sized t-shirt. He climbed up the stairs to Winnie's room, nudging the door open with his foot. It swung open to reveal a much cleaner room than before, though he still remembered the disturbing scene he walked in on when he came to check on Winnie. Such a sight made him cringe, though he tried his best not to show it. "Alright, doll. Do you want to go take a shower first, or change and lay down? It's all up to you. Take your time." He held her close against him, walking in to the room, yet leaving the door open for now.

Korren looked up at Sage and felt him pick her up, by which she allowed and obliged to sitting in his lap. She attempted a smile, though it quickly fell. It was sweet of him to be so comforting in that moment, though there was a lot on her mind. In return to his kindness, she hugged him, holding on for a minute or so. While he spoke, she listened, eventually pulling back to look him in the eye. She was met with a sweet kiss, which made her smile. Her arms moved over his shoulders, wrapping around his neck all the while. It was gentle, something that was kind and told a quiet 'I love you' without truly saying anything. "I won't forget that. I love you too, Greaser." She pecked him on the lips before placing foreheads together, their breath mingling. There was silence for a minute before it was broken. "I will try not to fear, though it's just... hard. He won't stop. Not until he gets what he wants, and if he does he's never satisfied with what he gets and- and-" She spoke in a whisper, and hadn't realized her voice was getting shakier as she continued to talk about him. Even mentioning his name was difficult. Her voice choked up, and she couldn't continue on with what she was saying. She placed her head against his shoulder, taking deep and slow breaths. It was no intention for her to make any of this about her, though she couldn't help but explain herself and how she felt with Bucky around her or anyone that received the abuse he gave out. There was nothing she could do to wash away the memories.
