That's fine if you want to more imply that the voices and such were heard and that he's now following a strange guiding force that he can't seem to ignore.

Obviously it'd be cool to see his reaction the moment it happens. But it's a personal choice to react to it.

I can do a reaction, but my character has many questions for the disembodied voice so would it be alright to do the call in a mini 1x1?

Yes, the structure will be similar to my intro. Your character can start doing whatever you want them to be doing whether it's business, pleasure, or nothing at all. They'll suddenly be hearing a bunch of incoherent voices in their head, and those voices will then go quiet and a single voice will then be heard urging them to open their heart to Sil'Eph Niir's name, as it is calling to them. Once they do, they'll hear that final SoundCloud clip I added of the woman singing the melody. After hearing that call, they'll instinctively know where it's coming from at Dragon's Cove. And they'll know they have to find a way to get there.

Since I do want to enjoy at least some character interactions before getting to the city, you can go ahead and post some solo journey stuff if you want, or you can collab with me on a post where I play various NPC's and you play as your character. That way you and I can both participate, I can put a few bits of info and worldbuilding into it, and you can work your way towards the city at basically the same pace as everyone else.

Let me know which you prefer and we can make it happen.

No worries at all. Life always comes first, especially when it's with respect to your personal health, be it mental, physical, emotional, or all of the above. You can hit me up in a PM and we can work out an intro post just like I will with EldridSmith. We'll work out where your character is to start this whole thing, do a mini 1x1 with the disembodied voice(s) urging them to open their heart to Sil'Eph Niir's name and wake her to assist with the coming calamity, and then we can get your character on the move towards whatever town/city I decide to put all of our characters at.

I didn't see what race she is however, I'm assuming human but I wanted to double check (also if you don't want to share that's fine).

Also, for anyone who spotted it and might be wondering about Nuelehtil's age versus the years she's practiced, Spellweaving is not an "official" form of magic recognized by the United Magical Council, and as such they do not regulate it like they do the other forms. So her starting at age 13 is being allowed. However, the UMC most certainly is keeping an eye on the tribes to make sure that they never make any attempts to do anything nefarious with their gifts. So while they're not "officially" recognized or regulated, they're being watched closely.

T'woud seem we basically have everyone ready to go! So once LuckyDubs and Laszalet get their intro posts up we'll be set to start proper and in earnest!

We do have one more member looking to finish their character sheet, but it's taking longer than expected. The soon-to-join player is Obsidian , and I've been in communication with them behind the scenes. Their character introduces an entire new civilization to the RP based on the Aerolian race, and all additions made are officially going to be considered "original" to the lore from this point on (cause it's friggin' cool).

Providing Emerald needs more time than it takes for LuckyDubs and Laszalet to post their intros, I'll be guiding everyone forward through posting and keeping things as open as possible so that when Emerald is ready they can pop in without much fanfare or playing catch up with all of us.

But this is exciting, and I'm eager to continue on!

Also, do peeps want to hook up on Discord for IM chat instead of the slower back and forth on RPNation? If so I can make a Discord server for us. Lemme know!

As for the matter of discord:
Personally not the biggest fan. (from a privacy and security viewpoint)
Wouldn't refuse using it though if necessary, despite my personal dislike for it.

I think you can turn off those notifications by "Unwatching" the thread. But I can still understand. We'll see what the overall consensus is.
