I believe so? Silver will tell you what's really available, but until silver responds, there is a list of available default playable gods on this thread to give you an idea on who else is playing what and whats taken:
If you do get Anubis, and @Peaceswore 's Hades sheet is accepted, you would have one heck of a time with your characters. You both could have your characters talk about their...ehem... dead-end jobs.
Also, unless told otherwise, a writing sample is required for playing gods.

Yes, though you do require a sample paragraph pmed to me, its important for the gods to be good writers, and you must be willing to stay with the thread.

I love the character, I think I will limit his shadow travel distance to something like Night Crawler's abilities: He can only travel to places he can see or places he has been before. Is this ok?

Sometimes reading other people's first help your mind start thinking of a starter post.
Perhaps use your family ties or your characters personality and think of the reason why your character would want to be at the expo.
you can start with your characters journey there and then into the whole situation that happened and all. I hope that made sense haha
