I don't think it would be ideal for a noble woman as Evelyn to wear an attire as revealing. They were more conservative back in the days and the only thing that showed at times were like their bossoms.
Now if Evelyn wasn't a noble like Analette she would definitely be able to wear something like that, however, perhaps her legs are covered though.

But first @SilverFlight when you say spikes came from the ground to trap their feet (I think that's what you said sorry if I read it wrong) were they stabbed in the foot or did the ground wrap around their feet holding them in place?
