Depends entirely on your characters age and how much you want them to have had I'd say, the only specifics being at some point your character would have jumped from enlisted into the academy to come out a 2nd Lieutenant. Marine's are a minimum four years after enlisting unless that's changed since I had the info so that's a good basis to go from I hope.My question, first one at that, is:
How much experience, actual field experience, might the characters have.
Second:
Which year is this set in.
Well, i was intending to have my character have quite some experience , maybe even considering signing up for BUD/S. If she is around 28, would that work out?Depends entirely on your characters age and how much you want them to have had I'd say, the only specifics being at some point your character would have jumped from enlisted into the academy to come out a 2nd Lieutenant. As for year we'll say 2018 but alternate universe so I can jimmy up the cast, like the president for example.
I see. Then i´ll not do it.BUD/S is a Navy program, our characters are Marines, that's the only issue there.
I like your character. Do you think him and Isabella would have met on missions before being put in the squad together? even enough to have some kind of oppinion about the other one?William O'neal

Callsign
Howler- Gained the name as he howled like a dog in the middle of a heated firefight.
William often has a problem keeping his mouth shut, ask anyone he's worked with. He will always have to say something witty, or annoying, even in heated combat he shouts ridiculous things that only a mad man would say. Most people say he should just have a muzzle to shut him up, but they can't deny the fact that he's a good ice breaker. In dark and difficult situations when morale is down, Williams is the one to lighten the mood, even for a slight moment. He is loyal as a dog to his fellow Marines and will follow his orders to the dot with a cheesy grin while cracking stupid jokes. It's rare to see him upset, but if he is in a tight situation he will snap. He won't admit it, but he loves the thrill of fighting. Williams loathes the days when his fellow Marines are hurt, or worse, but the smell of gunpowder, the rapid gunfire and the increasing adrenaline always gets him. It's a problem, he knows this, but he can't help but picture this being his life forever. Now past his chatty nature, his loyalty and determination to his job, Williams has a lazy side. A very lazy side. Of course people will only see this side of him when they are on leave, or simply relaxing at base. His mouth keeps running of course, but don't expect him to do much with his free time.
Born in the great city of New York Williams grew up with his grandmother, Patty, and his older brother, Hector. They lived in a rather bad part of the city, but they got by alright. Never got in to any major trouble with the police, or shady figures within their community and just stuck together as a family. Their grandmother worked hard to keep the two well fed and clothed, but it was clear her age was holding her back. Once Hector and Williams were at the right ages they began to help more and even worked a few jobs they had found around town. Things were much easier with the family and they were happy with their good simple life. That is until Hector began to watch the news more often. He would see stories of the war overseas and felt that it was his duty to help. Once he reached the age of 18 he joined the Marine Corps in 2011 and was shipped off to help his country. Of course William and his grandmother were proud and happy for him, but they were still worried that he would change, or worse never come back.
In 2014 Hector was injured by an IED and sent back home with a purple heart. Williams was both worried and happy to know his brother was coming back. He was saddened to know he had gone through such an injury, but was just happy to know he was coming back alive. The thing is though, he never came back. He just vanished from the radar. That is until Williams joined the Marines after their grandmothers death in 2015. The day he was about to be sent off he received a call from his brother. With questions flying from his head and a slight hint of anger for being kept in the dark about what had happened the two talked for hours. Apparently Hectors injuries weren't as severe as the doctors thought, but even with those facts he was still not able to rejoin. So he was caught by a recruiter for a private military group and joined them the first chance he got. Basically he became a mercenary. Williams was a bit shocked from the news, but he was just relieved to know his brother was still alive and spent the rest of his night talking with him before he left to be deployed.
Williams is still not done with his first tour, he's coming up on his last year, but in his time within the Marines he has shown great potential and bravery throughout his many missions. The men he served with have all stated he is a capable soldier, even with his strange personality that developed with him through his time serving. Through his hard work and dedication to the Corps he has finally been chosen for a high class mission.

I can even imagine, should they have been together in that fight, that she gave him the name Howler. Seems just like the kind of comment she´d make. Also, from that day, he´ll have to take her shit for that. XDI wouldn't see why not, Williams usually leaves a big first impression. The Fluffiest Floof
Due to who he is, im sure they are somewhat friends, but keep throwing insults and downgrades on each other the whole time. Like, they seem like they hate each other, but they really are good friends, know what i mean?I'm sure he's fine with that lol. XD
So your char is a guy as well, i suppose?Alright, working on my character now. Might have 'im done by tonight, if not tomorrow morning for sure.
Yep. Unless I have a sudden change of heart while writing the sheet. So your char is a guy as well, i suppose?
Oh did you give my character a quick glance? Can you tell me any points of criticism or changes you would like me to take? Or is it fine as is?Will mention that everyone would have been stationed on the USS Eisenhower together. Big ship but it gives you a common point for previous character relations.
I mean i guess if a soldier can carry it, you can have it, right? Just have it be realisitc, too much to carry would hinder him, so yeah...Well, it's up. That sheet did not fall together like I was expecting it to at the beginning. Will probably be making frequent edits to it over the next few days as I deem necessary.
Was debating putting rappelling equipment in as well, not sure how varied out loadouts are supposed to be. I wanted to add so much more, but I'm unsure as to where Transparent is going to put the limit as far as loadout.
