Fantasy [Detailed] Witches, Zombies, and Queens, oh my!

I was just wondering about the possibility of a terroristic-effort to overthrow the Queen as a storyline; would it sound plausible?

Due to matters of Arcanian security, I cannot freely discuss such matters with members of the public.

Haha, fair enough.

While I'm such topics, what will we do about countries? I'd like my buck to be from a country as close to Ireland as possible.

Unfortunately, geography is usually one of the last things I address in a roleplay. But, the short answer is yes, I see no reason why you can't make reference to a land full of potato-y goodness. Once I get further into RP creation, I'll get a map going - I'm picturing a somewhat small country that has annexed bits and pieces over thousands of years, something that resembles Germany with mountains to the south, beaches to the north, and several states that all have their own culture and history. This of course, would fuel some rivalries between the different bloodlines, as the capital city has been moved multiple times thanks to wars escalating from feuds in the past.

I could sense Arcana as a country must own a few autonomous zones.

If they're owned, that doesn't quite make them autonomous, does it? Besides, Amelanch likes to keep a first grasp on things.

Now, demilitarized zones... hell yeah.

Sorry, I'm getting terms mixed up! What I meant was would there have been a policy of colonization in place?

I'll have to get back to you on that, as I've got to look up some history stuff myself.

Could be seen as the relationship between Ireland and Britain at that point when they were brought together as one country under the Act of Union (1801?); could have created a lot of animosity!

I've never spoken to a woman my own age before in my life; I've nothing to fear.

Awesome! Things are a little slow because I'm having to type up a LOT of information, but there should be an RP thread up this evening, and if'd be so kind there's a character survey linked on the front page, fill that out with what you have in mind for your first character, and that'll help me figure out what kind of cast I'm looking at.

Don't burden us with too much; you'll burn yourself out with us!

No one is going to know what I'm talking about, but Wardens seem like Warders from the Wheel of Time series. Biggest bunch of badasses I know.

I don't get it, Magical RP, with magic, and awesome, and you both want to play the non magical footsoldier grunt class, the army units that are there as support for the witches and as fodder to break enemy ranks with xD

Ya'll fuckers are gonna die fast, haha!

Not at all. The thing is, the Blight in the Wheel of Time series is also a very nasty place. And women are the only ones allowed to channel, the male half being tainted and therefore any male channeler would be driven insane and rot while still living. The accidential similarities. You guys should read the fifteen, including prequel, book series by the fabulous aurthor Robert Jordan.

Well, I could imagine as Irishman in this case being an ordinary foot-soldier.

Working on my notes aaaand... there might be some fun stuff to work with later on.

EDIT: I HAVE NEVER READ THIS SERIES AND I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE FOR ANY UNINTENTIONAL SIMILARITIES.

You can die like the rest of us, with an arrow in you are a knife to the back. It is the job of the Warden to make sure this does not happen. You need us just as much as we need you.
