oh don't forget, the name has to be something that villains can turn into a cheesy insult, e.g. super friends -> super dorks, justice league -> justice losers, etc

Well ... despite its significance to high school reading lists, we could be The Outsiders ... Aka the Pout-siders, or the Out-suckers, or the incredibly juvenile Butt-siders.

I fixed the intro post for the main thread to include the original posted history.

Also, people should do one out-of-costume post with their character, just to open the scene. Remember, the team isn't formed yet, and our heroes don't know one another.

In that case, would you mind deleting my cs so I can repost it with any mentions of "Mega-Vancouver" edited to "Neo-Galiano"? It may not seem necessary to you, but I'd appreciate it. Otherwise it'll bother me.

As for the name, I think the Outsiders and BITN are the best so far. I humbly contribute Nightwatch, the Sentinel Society, and the Felony Wardens to the pool. I'll make a civ post tomorrow, tired now.

We are going for a more traditional style of descriptive post though. Think of it like an RP from any other section as far as the writing goes, just with dice to determine success rates, and a system to enforce a uniform power level.

Read everything. I understand most of it.

You have 30 dice. To buy a trait, spend dice. The first die raises a trait to 3. Each die after that increases it by 1.

When you post your character's action(s), the GM will ask you to roll a trait roll as appropriate.

When rolling a trait, roll a number of d6's equal to its rank. Every even number is a success. A six is a success and roll another die.
