Fantasy Descendants of the Curse

Gaston chuckled softly and shook his head at bother her question and her squealing.
"No I'm not nervous. I've been to this coven before, years before with my father and I'm no stranger to travelling in between. I'm anxious to meet your family however. I don't believe I've ever formally met my fiance's family considering my last fiancé, my wife, hardly had one to meet."

There was always things surprizing her about her mate. Even after all this time there were still new things to learn about him. He could always draw back on his wealth of beautiful words leaving her feeling droll and primitive when it came to protraying her feelings to him. "Apollo..." She muttered disposing of the glass then cleaning out her small wounds then turning and looking at his back. "In a world of men and monsters I do not loose my way," She tore off the hem of her dress and bandaged her hands. "Though in the past I had two choices, I now wish for only one." Slowly she stepped closer to him still facing his back. "A man, a normal life, one that I was destined for from the begining, yet it would be an empty life, unhappy and meaningless." Watching his back she stepped ever closer now reaching out and gently touching his shoulder. "A monster, a dangerous life, a choice that was thrust upon me. Yet it is the one I choose, for in this world of monsters and men, I am a monster too."

"You mean your ex-wife?" Phiona corrected him with a half smirk and a raised brow, but didn't dwell on it to much. Now eating her orange more carefully, and thinking of how Mary's only family was her siblings and her own childern. Yet Phiona was the complete opposite, she had quite the large family, with more than a hand full of aunts and uncles, twelve older brothers, and far too many cousins to count. "I recomend you prepare yourself then. You'll soon find yourself brother-in-law to twelve young men each rowdier than the last." She smiled gently nudging his arm with her elbow.

Apollo grasped her hand in his over his shoulder and remained unmoving for a moment. He simply let her palm rest in his grasp before sighing deeply and letting go and turning to her, staring down with a deeply troubled gaze.
"Forced upon you...yes, yes this life was and this choice," he shook his head as it was now his turn to feel the burning shame she had mere minutes before,"I took any choice you had from you and I am torn between regretting and not regretting a moment. I would do things differently had I been different then. Perhaps such a desicion would have been easier, maybe I would've been your first choice rather than your rapist!"
A growl rose in his throat at the thought and he crouched against the wall, pressing his hands against his face.
"I've never met a monster like me, Amber, but more importantly I've never met one like you. You've made me feel impossible things and you tear me to pieces all the while."

"Can't be any different than running my coven, can it? You'd have a hard time telling boys from the men on my council if you had them all in the same room."
Gaston sighed deeply and rested father back on his elbows, leaning his head back as well and letting the sun warm his torso.

Amber sighed crouching in front of him and pulling his hands from his face and replacing them with her own. "If you were different we may have never even met, and if I were different we would certainly have many more pups." She said reffering back to how she was only 15 when he took her, and all the pregnancies she had terminated. "We have both done things we regret, but holding onto the past like this will only taint our future." She said softly looking into his eyes her cupped hands gently stroking his cheek. "I choose to stay with you, and to love you as much as I can, but I also choose not to let those things tear me apart." She gently leaned her forehead against his one hand slipp ing from his cheek to massage the back of his neck to try comforting him.

"I'm sure I wouldn't." Phiona smirked finishing her orange and laying back on the blanket her black hair like a pool of ink covering the ground. "I like to think I know the difference between a man and a boy." She grinned making refference to their conversation back in Belladonna's garden, it was when Gaston had made his feelings for her known and had almost kissed her. Her cheeks pinkened at the memory her heart was speeding up just thinking about that moment of delightful tension, and she couldn't help but cast her glance at Gaston.

"I only wish I could've been better for you. I wish I could have been better so that he would have never had the chance to touch you and to love you," Apollo sighed and relaxed slowly into her embrace,"you are mine and you were meant for me, I know this. I just wish-", he repeated once more and now struggled for words which was unusual for the alpha,"I just truly wish I could've been better."

Gaston chuckled softly and then felt her gaze on him. Opening one eye he glanced down at her, quick to notice the colour of her cheeks and wandering eyes.
"What has you so bothered?"

Amber closed her eyes with a remorseful sigh as she remembered a time when Fredric had said those same words to her. "I know my love, I know..." Amber muttered kissing Apollo's forehead. She held her mate close to her breathing In his scent deeply then sighed once more. "But we can't change the past, this is our life now, just you and I and our family." She muttered hugging herself tightly against him, "Lets go home, Apollo. I'm sure the boys miss us."

Phiona sighed at his question playfully rolling her eyes. "A lot of things, but right now it is mostly you." She smiled sweetly her small hand reaching out to touch his.

"The boys were asleep when I last left them."
He sighed deeply and nuzzled his face close to her chest, his unclipped facial hair grazing the soft skin that was halfway revealed beneath her blouse. It was but the touch of a feather compared to the anguish they'd endured so many years ago and even today as they battled for their pack and their sons, for eachother.
"Let's stay a while."

Amber looked down at her mate and slowly nodded. "If that is what you wish." She said her arms wrapping around him and holding him close. His body so much warmer than the stone wall he had pressed her against mere moments ago. Her heart still calming from their tense quarrel she gently stroked his mop of disheveled red hair and leaned down gently kissing the top of his head.

"Mostly me?" He sighed and turned his eyes away from her coyly. A teasing smirk spread across his lips, still with water and orange juice,"I suppose school girls usually have more than one suitor on their minds."

Phiona giggled and rolled her eyes, though as she did she caught a glimpse of something in the corner of her eye. It was a large black mass sitting in a nearby tree. For a moment her whole being stilled with fear till further analise showed it's insulation shape. A large and bulky rectangle, unmoving, and seemed to be too heavy for the tree to support but it was there non the less. "What on earth?" She muttered looking curiously to Gaston, then got up cautiously making her way over to it. Getting closer she could tell the object was made of a dark wood with gold ornately placed on the corners of it. Large doors hung open and she could see the drawers were missing. It was such an odd sight to behold and yet it looked oddly familiar. Raising her hand up to it she iluminated her fingers casting light into the object and there on the inside wall she saw her name engraved in it. "This is my wardrobe!?" She exclaimed in shock. How had it come so far from her room? How did it get up there? And how bad was her roommate at her spells that this was the result?!

"It is. I feel like I haven't done anything good in ages, holding you is the fist one."
He murmered, his stomach churning at the thought of the battle that morning. His heart ached, his head ached. Battle and blood didn't excite him as it once did.

Gaston had sat up now and quickly at that, soon recognizing the hulking black form as well.
"You've got to be kidding. How is that girl not expelled? Or at least failed her classes entirely?"

"You have done many good things, great things, my Apollo. You just need to rest," Amber muttered sweetly, "sit with me won't you?" She said gently lowering herself to the ground.

Phiona looked back with a small sigh. "You could say the same for many of the students..." She muttered referring to Xander, then looking back up at the wardrobe and frowning, it looked as if the thick tree branches had grown straight through the wardrobe, though that was impossible as it had only appeared here last night. It would be impossible for them to remove it in one piece, and with a disapointed sigh she turned around. "You don't suppose we-" SNAP! CRRRACK! CRASH!! Just like that the wardrobe came crashing down nearly crushing the small woman as it did. "Aaaah!" She squealed jumping away from it and getting hit with debri. A piece of the door flying off and deeply scratching her arm, yet she was too startled by it all to notice the blood slowly collecting and dripping down her forearm.

Apollo followed his mate to the floor, resting his head on her lap much like a pup. She was his only comfort and his only assurance that what he had done and would do was right and just. There were many times when he was vulnerable with his mate but it only made him think of all the years he hadn't been and hadn't been able to or wanted. That was before his pups though.
"My sons have been my greatest doing."
He paused for a moment.
"Why haven't we more pups?"

Sparks flew from his hand as he attempted to snag the flying shrapnels of wardrobe while stumbling quickly towards Phiona. The whole of it was clumsy but Gaston was quick to direct the wooden chunks in another direction.
"Phiona! Phiona are you alright?!"
He ran to her, grabbing her arm, her blood sliding through his fingers as it gushed from her.
"Oh, what've you done?"

Amber thought on it for a moment knowing why they didn't have more pups before they had the twins. But thinking on it now, she realized they hadn't had anymore since they were born. "Stress I suppose..." she muttered running her hand over his shoulder. "Would you want more?" She asked looking down to him.

Again he paused.
"A little girl. With blonde hair," he smiled softly,"I've got the two boys. You should have a girl. All the she wolves talk about their little girls. Their endless chatter about teaching them to gather and hunt and cut their hair and braid it and-"
He rolled onto his back to look up at her.
"You don't want that?"

"What?" Phiona mutters confused then looks to her arm and immediately feels faint. That was a lot of blood and she couldn't stand the sight of it. Even as a young girl she couldn't handle even the mere mention of it and felt herself getting weaker. "Oh that's a lot..." she muttered clinging to Gaston, and refusing to look at her arm.

Amber smirked it was sweet listening to him talk like this. "I cut your hair, and I can braid my own, I don't need a child just for that. If we had another, I wouldn't need a specific reason to have them. Though I wouldn't mind we had more, especially now that we no longer have a rival pack to threaten us." She said looking down at him her fingers gently playing with his hair.
