Fantasy Descendants of the Curse

Sabella's eyebrows went from furrowed and frustrated to raised and astonished. He was a terrible flirt and it wasn't as if he was bad at it, he just hadn't stopped for the last ten minutes.
"Is flirting your first line of defense or something? Are you avoiding the fact that you need to tell me your plans for this whole journey of yours. Am I part of it the whole time? Are you planning on dropping me off somewhere when I'm not useful anymore? What is it you are wanting to achieve?"

His kisses brought chills up her spine and brought a smile to her lips as she relished the long missed closeness between them, but then as the wind picked up she remembered all the deadly ash that was around them still. This probably wasn't the best place for this. "We should get back to the den, with all this ash around here I don't want one of us to roll into it. I saw what it can do to a squirrel I'd rather not see it happen to one of us." She said gently but with serious undertones as she adjusted herself in his arms. "I promise we can continue this later, but for now let's enjoy the tempery boarder of deadly protection somewhere where it can't harm us." She said sweetly kissing the tip of her mate's nose.

Donahue paused for a moment, she was right, it was his first line of defense but he wouldn't admit it. "You want to know my plan?" He asked turning around and facing her. He wasn't mad but he was annoyed why couldn't Sabella just follow along without question like the others? Because she's and alpha, he reminded himself then sighed. "Originally I was just going to leave taking only what I needed and going off to either form my own pack or join the other werewolves who live normal lives, not having to hunt or worry about what pack will attack next. So fair really the only thing that is djfferent now is that someone I trust us going to be going with me, whether they want to come with me the whole way or not is completely up to them." He replied hoping she would have some trust in him and follow.

"You were planning on rolling around? Why ever would we be doing such a thing?"
Apollo grinned, raising an eyebrow playfully, holding her so he could stand up easily and the gently set her down on her feet and lacing his much larger fingers in hers.
"Come now. I'm sure the omegas will be glad to see the both of us alive and well after that small squabble."
He reached his freehand up to smooth down one of her ashy blonde hairs before again turning and leading her down the path back towards the dens.

"So you want to be a lap dog is what your saying- you want to "play" human?"
Sabella snorted and shook her head in disbelief.
"You have this spectacular talent to survive and lead and hunt and yet you want to shack up in an apartment and have sugar with your coffee in the morning?"
The shewolf rolled her eyes and continued walking onward. What a ridiculous notion.
"My mother lived as a human for a long while before meeting my father, she is scarred and burnt from them. Then when she encountered them again they beat and assaulted her," Sabella glanced over her shoulder at Donahue," how could a human possibly live a life of leisure between all the raping and pillaging they do?"

Amber chuckled playfully rolling her eyes and walking towards the den. The breeze was picking up and she could see small specks of the ash land on her dress seeming to eat small holes in the fabric. Seeing this Amber picked up the pace making sure none of it touched their bare skin, and soon they were both in the den away from the ash. All the other pack members looked at Apollo and Amber expecting them to be arguing or very tense but instead they saw the two alphas holding hands with their clothing covered in small holes ranging from pin pricks to quarter size all over them but especially on their backs like they had been followed here but hundreds of hungry moths. A few of the pack members chuckled at this sight but Amber frowned quickly looking over Apollo to make sure he hadn't been harmed by them but it was hard to tell while he still had his shirt on. "We should change out of these holy rags." She said light heartedly leading her mate away her pleasant demeanor masking her worry.

He frowned at her, everyone one knew the story of what happened to her mother, it was used as a cautionary tale to warn young pups from trusting humans. "You make us wolves seem like such higher beings but you seem to forget the biggest key to our survival. We steal and pillage local villages so we can get the supplies we need, we don't make our own things we take them from the weak humans. As for the raping you seem to have forgetten what happened to your aunt Amber, notice how no one has even seen her since that monster took her those many years ago. She's probably dead, not to mention I'm pretty sure I almost raped Thea the night of the feast." He said his voice was becoming more animated but dropped at his confession of what he had done to Thea. "I probably would have too had you not walked in, she was shaking so much then for you her best friend to only laugh at how foolish we seemed. No wonder she hid in the closet and cried, she was terrified but at the time niether you nor I seemed to care. In fact I was so annoyed by her leaving and crying I had half a mind to take you right then instead. I was blinded by lust and was a terrible and disgusting man, frankly I'm surprised spreading that rumor was the worst thing she did." He frowned deeply raking his hands through his hair still angry at himself for what he had done. She wanted to know more about him, well there was some more. "My point is we are just as bad as them." He said finally, feeling so guilty he couldn't even look at Sabella

Apollo nodded, his mouth remaining in a straight line until he looked over his shoulder at his other pack mates, a grin stretching his lips across his gums. The other males shook their heads or chuckled in understanding and then went back to their work as the two alpha's disappeared into the seclusion of their den.
Their sons were gone with the other pups, playing and learning as they did so from the elders and older females, the only indication that they had been present in the den this morning was the tangled mess that the boy's blankets and furs were in on each of their bed rolls. The den seemed quiet and empty without the two of them but the soft silence was enjoyable as was the extra space for the time being.
Apollo stripped his shirt from his torso. His body was a hard mass of muscle and scar tissue, his skin tanned and warm from the hunt with small beads of perspiration that lingered on the base of his back.

Sabella only narrowed her eyes cooly at his confession. She too was disgusted by this, especially as distant visions and memories flooded her memory. She had watched her mother be cut and burned, raped and beaten. She had watched her beautiful hair be shorn from her scalp and her body be locked in chains and tied with rough ropes, all from behind the bars of a silver coated cage as she burned her palms on the rods of silvery steel.
Sabella shook her head as if she could shake the memories as well, the feeling of absolute disgust and betrayal she felt towards him.
"That is the difference between monsters and men. The men didn't stop. The monster did."
She nodded her chin at him, indicating that he was the latter.

Amber lost her pleasant demeanor when they entered their room instead turning to nurse maid mode "Trousers too." She said carefully picking up his shirt and putting it in a pile to burn then turning back to him and inspecting his body for any marks or wounds. Her hands carefully moving over his skin running through his hair and even checking his beard. In the end all she found were very small white dots that looked to be made of dead skin where the holes in his clothes were and these marks faded rapidly from his quickly healing body. "Good." She sighed a breath of relief and stood up removing her dress and slip and checking herself in the mirror. "Do I have any marks?" She asked Apollo not able to see her own back in the mirror.

"Yes well,..." He started but didn't finish dropping his hands he sighed. "If you don't want to go to London, where do you want to go?" He asked with a sigh almost sounding anguished as he looked up at her. The rain had stopped now but it was still grey and foggy, and everything was muddy.

Apollo stepped out of his trousers and slipped the worn fabric off from around his ankles, tossing them off to the side with his shirt and Amber's dress and undergarments.
He crouched behind her and ran his hands up the extent of her legs, then the rise and slope of her hips and to the toned flat of her stomach, rising off of his haunches as he went and then finally he came to a standing position behind his mate, holding her tightly. The only visible mark he could see was a small burn on her shoulder and a scrape from the woods, perhaps a nettle sting as well. Other than that his little dove was unscathed.
"It seems as though your under wear saved you this time."
He chuckled deeply as he kissed the pocket of her shoulder and neck.

"Well," she inhaled deeply and then tilted her face up to look at the sky,"it seems as though the rain has let up for now but no doubt there's a storm coming in from the east. Directly where we seem to be headed."
Sabella looked at him again, his defeated look and soaked through clothes and then at herself, very much in the same condition.
"We'll be ill if we don't stop soon and the closest place to dry our clothes and rest would be-" Sabella frowned,"to head east until about dusk. There's a settlement say two or three hours from here with a small inn. You might just get your way after all, Donahue."

"This time?" Amber smirked looking up at him and relaxing a bit as she leaned into his embrace. "What is that supposed to mean?" She inquired playfully, turning in his arms so they were facing eachother. Her fingers delicately traced the lines of his pectorals and deltoids as she admired her mate like she was seeing him for the first time.

"How long if we shift?" He asked loosening the strap of his satchel so he wouldn't break it as he transformed. Because his blood wasn't as pure as Sabella's what with her being the granddaughter to the original werewolf and all, it would take him longer to shift so he figured he might as well get started now.

"I often say they are unnecessary do I not?" He chuckled softly although the touch of her fingers across her chest and the pressure of her skin against his caused the hair on his arms and the back his neck to rise. The drop and lilt of her Cupid's bow and her lower lip as she spoke and the flutter of an eyelash only worsened her affect on him. She was so incredibly woman and Apollo found that completely irresistable.
His hands moved from waist to her hips and then to the bottom of her thighs as he hoisted his mate up around his waist and moved across the room with her to their bed, which was strewn with warm blankets and pelts of large game.
"I'm afraid they won't save you now, little dove." Apollo growled playfully.

Sabella tucked her hair back behind her ear and pursed her lips as she thought, estimating closely to what she thought.
"An hour?"
Sabella dropped her bag of stolen squirrels and kicked it off to the side, preparing herself for the sharp pain of shifting.
In her mind, she willed it and imagined the snapping and binding of bones, the sprouting of her ashy white fur, the slanting of her silvery eyes into a shade more yellow. A shiver coursed down her spine and through her body and then the shift began.
Within five minutes a young shewolf sat in Sabella's place, her nose twitched and she shook out her ruff as she paced the small expanse between two trees and waited for Donahue.

"How frightening~" Amber snickered running her fingers through his bright red hair as she kissed him, her lips pressing hungrily to his. "Somebody save me! There's a savage beast trying to ravage my soft vulnerable body~!" She gave a mock cry for help, only loud enough for the two of them to hear, before wrapping her arms around him and kissing him deeply.

(Time skip?)

"Then we should be able to beat the storm." Donahue said as he had finished his transformation shaking dry his fur and looking down at Sabella his eyes now an glowing emerald hidden behind his thick brindle fur. Giving her a small nod he started running east toward the inn.

(To shortly after they are done because it is still evening and Lottie will be arriving soon.

And yes for Don and Sabella)

Panting softly Amber found another change of clothes to change into and quickly pulled her hair back into a loose braid. "Midnight will be here before we know it." She said carefully picking up their holy clothes. "We probably should have been preparing for it instead of fooling around." She said knowingly yet she had no regrets. "I'll go get the pups, we'll have supper, then start preparing, Lottie will arrive shortly after. Then I suppose we wait for them to attack." She said rambling her plans to herself, she knew that wasn't all that needed to happen to night but it was just the things she was concerned about right now.

SUDDEN IDEA!

You know how Mary and Gaston left their youngest son in the care of Belladonna, well I was just thinking what of possible ways to incorporate some of the older characters we had and I was thinking. What if Gaston and Mary's son couldn't control his powers like Belladonna was trying to and he ends up accidently killing her. Not only would it cause chaos amoung the coven for loosing their most powerful healer but it would give Mary the chance to take her place as the power hungry witch she is raising above her husband in coven rank due to the fact that Malcolm is still alive. Then she or even her now older childern could get involved in the other stories going on right now.

Also I was re-reading the old RP and I really liked the character intractions between Apollo and Amber, and that slow transformation from pure hate and desperate need of affection, to mutual understanding of the situation, and now to both willingly loving eachother. I especially like the part where he talks about how he never learned how to show affection properly but he was trying just for her. I also liked the kiss they shared before they turned. It was special kind of bittersweet romance between them that I liked. Anywho that's just me reminiscing, tell me what you think of the first paragraph.)
