Fandom Death Note - Rebirth of God

Kiyoko Tomoe

The Donut Goddess
The tale of Light Yagami, first and true Kira, was definitely a fearful yet amazing story. The world was shaken to its very core by one man, a pen, and a notebook. Can you imagine such a story to be true? There's no way something like that happened, right? If that's what you thought, you're very wrong. It's only been a hundred years, yet they've somehow managed to cover it up like it never happened, turning it into a simple story to scare children out of becoming criminals. Little does the world know at this point, that Light Yagami actually did exist.

Have you ever wondered though...? Have you ever been curious...? Just what became of the Death Note? Well, the Death Note is actually quite a common existence. It was believed there were only two of them, but there are actually more than you can count. There are actually a few within your world, but the Death Note originates from the land of the death gods. Several incidents of Death Notes landing in the human world have been recorded in history, but none were as great as Light Yagami's tale. Perhaps today, we can change this fact? Will you be the one to surpass Light Yagami, and bring back the name Kira?

-- "Ah, it's that day... The hundredth anniversary... I guess it's about time..."

Arisa fell back on her couch and sighed. She rested her head on an armrest, putting her headphones on and starting to listen to music. She turned the television on but kept it muted, so she could read the words on the screen without listening to the boring news cast's annoying rants. Just then, she saw something very peculiar. She thought she was insane, but she saw the words "Kira shall return." go by on the screen. She slowly lowered her headphones and took the television off of mute, though there was nothing weird going on with their words, and the text was all normal once more.

Thinking she was seeing things, which was quite possible due to her being the only one to see it, Arisa muted the television once more, returning to her music. It was definitely an odd day today. Perhaps she'd accidentally taken a pill for sleep enhancement instead of something for her headache earlier, and was so tired she was seeing things. Deciding to just shrug off the whole mistaken pill thought, she stood up and walked in her room and sat down, picking up the opened notebook that rested on her desk and starting to work on her math homework.

Unknown to Arisa, this wasn't the usual notebook she used, though it didn't seem out of place in any way. The notebook was laid flat with both left and right page able to be written on at any time by simply moving her pencil to the side, both sides empty aside from the new math problems written in them. Writing her answers on her homework paper, she flipped the page. Arisa turned on the television, deciding now was a good time to start taking notes on the actions of the world, since she wanted to have a good grasp of how the world works when she actually goes out into the world further than just a small apartment.

After about ten seconds of pondering on it, Arisa, being the odd girl she is, decided to think of ways that would be fitting of those two criminals to die, writing them right beside the names and everything. She was quite proud of her work coming up with an idea on how the drug dealer would die, though she was studying to get a job in the medical world, so it was only natural she would know a good list of hallucinogens and other types of drugs. Looking over her work on last time, she stood up, leaving her pencil on the opened notebook and returning to the window. It truly was a beautiful Sunday morning.

Death by "accidental" murder. Bleeding out from neck in middle of trial, proven guilty just moments before.

Drug overdose leading to hallucinations through Ketamine. Hallucinations cause setting self on fire by accident, then jumping into a pool after mixing oil inside the water, burning the body but leaving it good enough to determine hallucinogens were used.

Noyeh walks around the City, whistling while carrying a Bunch of Grocery Bags to his House. "What a nice day.." Noyeh commends, walking inside his Apartment and putting his Groceries into the Fridge and whatnot. "So.. Time to see what's on the Television.." Noyeh says, grabbing his Laptop and placing it on his Lap. He turns the T.V on, just seeing Criminals and then a message saying "Kira shall return." Noyeh got puzzled, he started quickly typing out Kira Shall Return in Google Search. Not much came up except random people saying crap about how he shall return. Noyeh sighs, laying on the Couch and continuing to watch TV.

Kenchi was laying on his bed looking outside at the clouds, while the TV in his room blared on with reporters. The clouds where interesting today. He saw a person stabbing and killing another, a heart being burst into a puddle, and a turtle calmly floating in the ocean in the sky. Kenchi yawned turning over and focused his attention on the screen. The words "Kira shall return" flashed across the screen, destroying the he had previously attained. Kenchi frowned at the words, thinking about where he had heard those words before. If he was correct, Kira was a serial killer, one who killed with unknown methods. He only killed criminals though. Kenchi shrugged, watching the screen start to list wanted criminals.

"This new 'Kira' better not disturb my peace...."

Ichigo was sitting and staring aimlessly in the windowsill located in his room. He found his gaze to meet that of rain beginning to fall to the ground, which soon caught his full attention. For some reason, words were spelled out in falling droplets. 'Kira will return' . Raising his brow, Ichigo chuckled to himself, shaking his head before mumbling to himself. "Kira is a pretty name...Wonder what she looks like." Out of curiosity, Ichigo stood from his half comfortable post, only to plop down onto his bed and grab his labtop, opening it up and waiting for Google to load. Although he wanted to know, he would most likely just end up looking up jokes to crack around town and at his job.

Sayuri slammed a student against the wall of the girls bathroom, her two friends stood behind her grinning sadistically as Sayuri held a small pocket knife to the student's cheek. She wouldn't leave any actual marks with the knife, nor would she stab them but it was enough to put fear into them, to watch them squirm and struggle. She enjoyed it. She laughed maniacally and began to trail the knife down the kid's cheek and just over where their heart hammered heavily in their chest. Their breathing was quick, sweat ran down their forehead and they seemed as if they wanted to melt into the wall or disappear completely but Sayuri wasn't done yet, she had more games to play first. Despite her petite size Sayuri managed to hold them in place although it was majorly due to the student's fear and she smirked, "I trust that next time, you won't be going to the teachers yes? Otherwise...." she trailed off, the meaning behind her words was clear, she would seriously harm the poor kid.

Sayuri enjoyed playing with her toys but when they disobeyed her she had to teach them a lesson and so she stepped back, gesturing to the 'friend' on her left.
"Not the face or arms. I don't want anything visible." She crossed her arms over her chest after depositing the knife into her pocket and watched with cold, blue eyes as the student was beaten mercilessly. At one point she thought the kid might pass out and she held a up her hand, dismissing her lackey. "Enough for today. And just a reminder, if I hear about this from anyone I will not hesitate to kill you, or your family. Is that understood?"

She stooped down, her eyes meeting that of the student's and they nodded numbly, she smiled and caressed their cheek softly, almost lovingly.
"That's a good boy. Behave." She said as a final reminder before turning on her heels and walking out calmly, she passed several teachers on her way out of the school grounds, greeting each and every one in a friendly manner as she did and they all smiled warmly at her. It didn't take her long to get home and the first thing she did was turn on the television, slumping onto the couch and completely ignoring anything her idiotic parents had asked her.

Before she changed the channel to something other than the news some text flashed onto the screen and she peered at it, leaning forward.

"Kira shall return." It read and Sayuri sighed, it was most likely some degenerate's idea of a prank, after all, Kira was only a story.

Saruwatari sits on a couch feet rested up on a table and a joint in his mouth someone is talking to him but he isn't actually listening all he knows is to kill someone then get a lot of money. Eventually he sopped talking and looked at him. "Hey are you listening?" He shook his head as he got distracted by a picture that he couldn't make out to well. The man face palmed and pointed to a bored. "Kill this cop and you will get three grand" Saruwatari laughed and shook his head. "I will get fifteen for a pig. Take it or leave it. It doesn't matter to me." The man sighed and looked around before putting his hand to his beard then nodding. " Fine." Saruwatari nodded then took another puff out of the joint.

Katsumi buttoned up her shirt as she watched the news. Trying to pick up any information that could be useful to her. Being an Undercover student at a school was useful. But also boring since she was 20 in highschool. Learning to be a undercover cop meant she had to go undercover as many things. Even if it meant student or teacher. Being in this posistion, she was the teachers assistant. But people called her a student cause she wore the same uniform as the students. Taking a deep breath, she took the tie and put it around her neck and put it on properly. Looking back at the screen, she noticed Text going across the screen "Kira shall return." smirking she spoke "No. He wont. Or she. Whatever you may be."

Walking over to her computer, she turned it on, leaning back on her chair and crossing her arms over her chest. Once fully on, a window popped up, showing a still screen of the Police's office. Some people sitting in their chairs. She smiled a bit, turning on the voice changer for her voice and speaking. "Good morning gentleman." she said "It seems that someone has gotten into the broadcasting system and left the note "Kira shall return." Better get ready, because now we might be starting a new game."

--"In other news, Hiraga Koneko's trial has come to an end, but in one of the worst ways possible. The defendant was found guilty, but that wasn't all he was found of. Just moments after the verdict, Hiraga found himself dead when a bullet made its way into his neck. The shooting was purely an accident, but investigation is being done to figure out how the gun, which was evidence for the trial, had been loaded and the safety removed. The carrier of the evidence has been proven without a doubt to be innocent and to have just accidentally bumped the trigger, though how is still unclear."

The screen switches over to the on-scene news reporter, standing right in front of a house, backyard swimming pool visible slightly through the gate that connects the house to the brick wall between it and the next home.

--"Just moments ago, nineteen year old drug dealer James Ray was found dead in the pool of another person's house. The pool's water had been mixed with oil, and the pool itself had been lit on fire. On-scene investigators claim this to have been an accident, and theorize that James Ray burned himself alive while under the use of heavy hallucinogens or other dangerous drugs."

Arisa's eyes widened as she watched the news. These reports... T-they... But how...? Arisa thought to herself, running over to the notebook she'd written in and flipping through the pages until she reached the front cover. The words on the front were all she needed to see; stumbling back, she was utterly confused and scared by what she was seeing. This was the first time she'd seen anything like this happen. A book that read "Death Note", and then news that reported the deaths of which she'd detailed in that Death Note. Coincidence? Quite unlikely. The Death Note... is this real...? I must be dreaming...

Sayuri channel surfed for a bit, nothing interesting was going on. Nobody had died. She sighed heavily and went to her room, changing into something more comfortable than her school uniform and taking her long pink hair out of it's twin tails and letting it cascade down her back in thick ringlets. She rummaged through the pantry for a snack and conversed with her mother politely, everything was about maintaining appearances after all. "Nothing interesting happened today. I have to go do my homework mom, call me when dinner's ready." She lied smoothly, meeting her mother's eyes evenly and she munching on a chip as she spoke. She left without another word and flopped onto her bed opening her laptop and surfing the internet for a while whilst enjoying her snack.

She checked her news feed and excitement welled up inside her, bubbling and making her giggle with glee. Two men had died, one during a trial and another in a pool fire. Both were extremely creative and even unusual ways for someone to die and Sayuri studied their faces. She imagined how it must have felt being one of the people sitting next to Hiraga Koneko as he was shot through the neck, to have all that red surrounding them, to be spattered in the warm substance. To watch as he died, his gurgled cries and frantic expression, it must have been so, so funny. It made Sayuri shiver with delight.
"Maybe I could.....no not yet, I still need to plan."

Sayuri opened her notebook hidden underneath her pillow, the pages were filled to the brim with plans and she cringed at some of the older ones. It was a diary of sorts, she dated every new entry but usually she expanded on one of her established plans. She didn't know who it would be yet, or when or where, that was all to be worked out later. At this point she was deliberating between using poisons, knives or strangulation, she wanted to be up close and personal, to watch them as their life slipped away. But knives were messy and strangulation might leave evidence, poisons could work better, depending on the one used it might never leave a trace. But how to dispose of the corpse? "Sayuri! Dinner's ready" Sayuri made a few notes in the book before shoving it back under her pillow and making her way downstairs, plastering a perfect smile on her face as she thanked her mother and began to eat.

Kenchi yawned again. The clouds had cleared out the sky, so there was nothing to watch except the TV. His head hung off the edge of his bed-frame as he watched the TV, noting little bits of chaos that was happening in the world. Kenchi's stomach rumbled and he considered going to get something to eat, when the news channel changed into "Urgent" news. Two criminals that were featured earlier today turned up dead. One got shot in the neck in a courtroom, and the other burned himself alive. Kenchi frowned, thinking about how those two died. Then he shrugged, rolling off of his bed, and heading into the kitchen. He smiled as he went. This could be the beginning of his "ultimate tranquility"...

Saruwatari laughs when the news pops up stating that a criminal burned himself alive while on drugs and another was shot at a court house. He would be currently driving his car trailing behind the cop that he was suppose to kill. He already had a plan that would be rather easy to kill the two cops in the patrol car. One of his mafia members sits in the passenger seat next to him. He looks arouns and the col stops for a red light. Saruwatari bumps into his the rear of the car but not enough that they think he is trying to kill them. They turn their lights on and step out of the vehicle saruwatari's windows are tinted so they can't see in and both Saruwatari and his friend wear cloth of their face. The cops walk towards the car and order them to step out they both get out of the car with a pistole pointed at them from behind the window and fire. Saruwatari's actuall target gets shot in the face putting a hole in his head while the other gets shot in the chest and falls over from the shot but is still alive. They get back im the car and drive off quickly no one follows.

Ichigo yawned, having his gaze shift over towards the beeping sound originating from the television. 'Damn news...' He halted his thoughts upon hearing of two deaths, both being criminals. Finding it somewhat odd as to how they died, especially regarding the fact one of them burned themselves alive, Ichigo slowly arose from his laid position to sit up and stare at the television set. He spoke of nothing, but allowed his facial features to do the talking. 'What the hell...is going on?' It wasn't as if he truly cared, or in the least bit felt sorry for them, but he was simply curious as to why anybody would burn themselves alive. Considering the fact nowadays everybody was killing to live. Rolling his sharpened irises, Ichigo blew his breath, before finally lazing his way out of bed and dragging his feet whilst he made his way to the kitchen.

What a beautiful way to die... Haruka thought to himself in awe as he listened to the news report. To be consumed by the flames.... absolutely beautiful... He leant back in his chair and rummaged in his pocket until he found his zippo lighter, a gift from his friend Ayumi. He flicked the lid and ran the flint down his trouser leg, igniting the flame. He then held the lighter in front of his face and watched the dancing flame, completely transfixed by its beauty. "How can a man burn himself to death like that?" He muttered to himself thoughtfully. The other incident baffled him just as much. A man had been shot in the throat during a trial.

"Are these incidents some God's idea of karmic justice? or just supreme acts of stupidity?" He flicked the lid closed and extinguished the flame. Contemplating the unlikely events that had occurred recently.

The door slamming quickly snapped Haruka out of his thoughts and caused him to drop his zippo. Damn! She's back already!

Ayumi leaned against the door frame with her arms folded. "You could have cleaned the place up a bit while I was out." Ayumi said reproachfully. Her emerald green eyes turned from Haruka to the television set where a news reporter was talking about some recent peculiar deaths.

Haruka snatched up his zippo lighter and smiled at Ayumi warmly.

"Save me your crocodile smile." She said, "You can stay here as long as you like Haruka, but please get a job, you always prance around the flat in a suit, you could get an interview, or at least clean the place up a bit."

Haruka nodded in agreement. "Of course Ayumi, he said amiably. His smile disappeared instantly when she turned and walked away. Haruka straightened his blazer and cracked his neck, a ritual he always performed when he was angered. He hated being told what to do.

A pile of letters from the college were piled precariously on his desk, no doubt they would be complaints of his absence and threats to remove him from the course unless he begins to attend.

Haruka walked over to his wardrobe and put on his gas mask. Now the filth of the world can't contaminate me. He slumped back into his chair and flicked the lid of his zippo open. He clicked his fingers over the flint, sparking the flame, and watched, transfixed by the flames dance and he smiled behind his mask. Haruka wasn't someone that could be reasoned with, bargained with or dealt with. He had one desire: to watch the world burn....

After dinner Sayuri completed her homework without incident and began to arrange her stuffed toy collection, she savored the soft fur of each animal and some of her favorites she even spoke to. "Shi, I'm so close now, I can almost taste it. There's small details that I need to take care of first and I'm not sure who's going to be first, but I'm almost there. You'll help me won't you?" She cuddled the black colored bear to her chest, it was larger than the others, worn and tattered. It had been sewn together multiple times, two mismatched buttons were sewn onto where the eyes had been and the mouth was crooked. "Who bothers you most Yuri?" Sayuri blinked and thought for a moment, she was never quite sure if it was who Shi actually spoke or if it was simply herself. "Mother is a pest. She worries too much, I don't have any freedom." She grinned sadistically, she had her first victim.

Of course she had to make sure she wasn't suspected as well, whenever and however she did it, she'd need a solid alibi or something else to seem as innocent as possible. With Shi still in her hands she grabbed her notebook again and made some notes, poison would be too suspicious, the police would definitely suspect foul play then. It'd be obvious it was a homicide. She researched on her laptop for hours after that, thinking of the best way to do it, she combined all of her knowledge in those few hours and finally she thought she'd come up with the perfect plan. Now all she needed were the tools.
"Mother's going to one of her friend's parties in a few days, we can strike then Shi." She'd need to visit the nurse's office at school tomorrow to check if they had what she needed, hopefully they did.

~Time Skip - Monday Morning

--"Shall we explore the secrets not even they know about...? Ah, this is going to be so much fun... I'll get to meet her in person today... No more need for me to spy on her, is there...?"

Arisa awoke from a most painful nightmare. Her worst fears, greatest hatred... Every negative emotion within her, both negative to herself and to others, were all released in that one nightmare. It wasn't just your average nightmare though. She saw a face; a face that closely resembles the face of a well-known story. A pen, a known face, and death; what she saw wasn't a mere nightmare; it was some kind of revealing of the past. She didn't know what sparked in her mind, but...

Arisa realized what she could use the Death Note to do. She realized it was the Death Note that killed those two criminals, and figured out what she could try doing. Instead of her earlier thoughts from the previous day about disposing of it or keeping very limited use of it to when only necessary, she could possibly use it for the benefit of both the legal and medical worlds. She would have to test something out, and in order to do that, there were many things she would have to do.

First, she would have to fully authenticate the Death Note. If it was fake, then she would be severely relieved. If it was real however, it would be her responsibility to use it in the best way possible. If it were real, she would be able to move on to the next testing. She would have to see if the way the two died was coincidence, or if the Death Note takes causes of death and recreates them, filling in any blanks by itself. This would mean that less abstract would be better for getting exactly what's wanted, but more abstract of a description would be better for lack of evidence.

"If all criminals... If all of them were killed... No, if all of them killed themselves... Then before killing themselves... offer their body for development of science and the medical world should they die... If this thing can really do what I think it can... I can improve the world... But, that'll just make me... as bad as criminals... I'll be killing people... Just... what am I supposed to do...!? I either use this thing for good and end up making myself evil... or I don't use it, and the world won't change for the better..." Arisa thought to herself out loud.

Panicking on the inside as she tried to decide how to use the Death Note, the last thing she wanted to worry about was any other parts of the Kira story coming to be true. What was that unbelievable part of the story that just made it even worse than the idea of a notebook killing...? There was a... Shinigami; A Shinigami that followed Kira around wherever he went, and only he could see the Shinigami unless somebody else touched the Death Note. Hopefully, that part won't come true either; especially since she had school in a little while. It would be really bad timing for a Shinigami to show up before her there.

It's now Monday morning, about an hour before anybody needs to get going to high school and such. This allows actions to be taken before starting things like jobs, school, etc., but keeps things close enough to school time that there's actually something able to be done. Please don't skip to school time on your own, as that's essentially the same as forcing all others to start at school. I'll say when school starts; most likely in my next post, meaning that you can all be patient and wait a short period of time. Feel free to arrive at school though, but expect doors to be locked, and there to be practically nobody there.

A "Neutral Characters" Tab has been created. This is where I'll keep track of important characters that aren't going to be played too often, but do hold some significance to the plot in some way. This will include some major kills by the Death Note, such as the first two victims of the Death Note Arisa holds. There will also be causes of death included for those that have been killed by the Death Note, and those without a cause of death are assumed to have been killed by a heart attack.

A "Notes" Tab has been created. The use of this tab has not been completely decided, though it will be used for things that need recording, such as important events and such. It may or may not also include summaries of events that have happened, in the event new players are allowed to join, or somebody falls behind. I also may or may not detail events that are guaranteed to happen, as well as may record times in the RP by listing which page, which post number, and from whose post onward in the RP that it's that time of day, or that approximate hour/minute(s).

Katsumi walked out of the shower, grabbing the towl and drying herself off. "Today is going a very interesting day." she said aloud to no one. Her home was empty from all other sources of life. Except herself. It looked like a normal home for a normal human. Nothing out of the ordinary. Walking out of her bathroom, she walked to her room, where she had her uniform sitting on the bed. She dropped her towl and grabbed her undergarments, putting them on, followed by her button up shirt and her tie. Which was followed by her skirt, high socks and her shoes for the outside world. Her shoes for school were inside the school.

"People will be talking about what they seen on tv. 'Kira shall return'. I dont believe in this Kira person at all. But if he is real and plans to come back, then so be it." she fixed her tie and made it a bit tighter but comfortable "If you dare try anything Kira. I will catch you." she walked out of her room and turned on her computer, making her way to the kitchen and pulling out a poptart from the kitchen cabinet before making her way right back to her computer where she sat down and turned on her mic and voice changer. Her delicate fingers opened the poptart pouch, which held two poptarts and pulled one out, taking a bite out of it. Mmm..Chocolate chip... Watching the police do their work. Katsumi decided to turn off her mic and just watched. Not wanting people to know she was there.

"Oh I wonder where you are, Detective Suzuki." she smiled just slightly

Haruka was already awake before his alarm sounded. He stared up at the ceiling as the alarm sang it's monotonous hymn. He slammed his hand on top of it, silencing it.

He walked across the hallway barefoot, the cold of the wooden flooring creeping up into his feet. He pulled his dressing gown around himself and shivered, his flesh rising in goosebumps. I have a very bad feeling about today... He contemplated.

Haruka enjoyed a long shower, resting a hand against the shower wall and hanging his head forward, he let the water pour onto the back of his head, and cascade down his body. He spent a few minutes there in the shower, contemplative, lost in the deepest recesses of his own thoughts. His mind was on Ayumi, and of the strange deaths that had occurred the previous day.

He dried himself off, and brushed his teeth. Then he made his way back to his room where he changed into a cream suit. Perhaps i should wear my gas mask to college... that will certainly turn some heads... It will protect me from their germs... from their mundane mediocrity ...

I'm not like them! I'm better than them.
He put the gas mask in his rucksack and started towards the bedroom door when he stopped.

He turned his head to see his zippo lighter lying on his desk, the morning light reflecting off of its metallic surface, giving it a brilliant glow.

This... must be a sign... he thought, feeling the excitement rushing through his body. I'll burn down the college! I'll deactivate the fire alarm and burn it down...

He shook his head and chuckled to himself. The lighter would be staying he today, he couldn't risk getting it stolen.

He walked into the living area where Ayumi stood in her dressing gown yawning. Two cups were on the side and the kettle was rattling and making a whistling noise.

Ayumi is such a beautiful person, inside and out. He stood and admired her as she poured the hot water into the cups. She had short blue hair and tattoos of ivy running up her left leg and down her arm. Her eyes were like two magnificent emeralds, Haruka felt he could get lost in those eyes forever. They were hypnotising.

She makes me mad sometimes. But she's not like everybody else. She's different. She's like me.

"
Glad to see you've finally decided to venture out into the world." Ayumi said, offering Haruka a cup of steaming tea. "Or did you just wet the bed?"

"No." Haruka tried to stifle a smirk as he answered.

"You need to concentrate, Haruka." Ayumi said seriously. She held her cup of tea in both hands and blew on it, then she slurped loudly.

Haruka, said nothing. He sat down next to her on the sofa and they watched the morning news together.

Kenchi woke with glazed eyes, to the blaring ring of his alarm clock. He laid there for a few minutes, trying to force himself out of sleep. He sat up and turned ff the alarm, stretching his arms and yawning, thinking about the interesting events of yesterday. Kenchi stood up, heading towards the bathroom for a shower so he could get ready for school. The news-people probably weren't going to broadcast the criminal profiles today, considering this "Kira's" actions. Even if those deaths were just accidents. Kenchi shivered in delight at the prospect of Kira returning.

"I can help Kira obtain peace...."

Kenchi closed the restroom door, and started to get ready for his day.

Sayuri's alarm had gone off long ago, she had already showered, gotten dressed and had her breakfast, she was completely ready for the day. And her visit to the nurse's office. She deliberated for a moment, staring at the pairs of ribbons that lay neatly on her bed, did she want the purple or navy blue? She snatched the blue off her bed and quickly tied them around her twin pigtails, securing them tightly and making her eyes stand out more against her pink hair. After that she grabbed her school bag and left, both her parents having already gone to work.

The doors to school were locked of course, it was too early for anyone to be here yet and not even the teachers had arrived seemingly. Although one or two might be lurking through the halls. With nobody in sight, Sayuri made her way to the nurse's office window and peered through it. Empty. "Hope it's unlocked..." She mumbled to herself and gripped the frame of the window tightly, grunting as she tried to force it open. She grinned at her success and it took her a only a minute or two to clamber through the now open window, her small size giving her maneuverability.

She reached back outside and got her school bag, placing it next to the window before she shut it and patted herself off. She was a little dusty and it might seem suspicious if she didn't get rid of that. She searched the office thoroughly, checking every drawer and cabinet until she practically screamed with excitement to find an assortment of syringes. They were in packages for safety purposes and Sayuri grabbed one, stuffed it into her pocket, retrieved her school bag and climbed back out the window before walking to the front of the school where students would wait before the doors opened. Once again she got rid of the dust and found that she couldn't stop smiling. She'd done it, now all she needed to do was make it look like an accident to cover up the needle mark....

"Hmm... nice. I sure do love swimming in a fiery pool...." Roxanne glanced at the TV, as it seemed especially more interesting since the message "Kira is real" showed up recently on another newscast. She chuckled and glanced down again. The food she was cutting seemed unimportant compared to her TV, so she laid the knife down and slumped onto the couch. "In other news, Hiraga Koneko's trial has come to an end, but in one of the worst ways possible. The defendant was found guilty, but that wasn't all he was found of. Just moments after the verdict, Hiraga found himself dead when a bullet made its way into his neck. The carrier of the evidence has been proven without a doubt to be innocent and to have just accidentally bumped the trigger, though how is still unclear. And, just moments ago, nineteen year old drug dealer James Ray was found dead in the pool of another person's house. The pool's water had been mixed with oil, and the pool itself had been lit on fire. On-scene investigators claim this to have been an accident, and theorize that James Ray burned himself alive while under the use of heavy hallucinogens or other dangerous drugs." Roxanne gazed at the TV dreamily and smirked. "Ah, the sweet circle of life..."

She straightened up and looked around. Behind her was the vegetables she was cutting, and she resumed her previous task. As she made a salad, she gazed into space thinking: 'I wonder if Kira has returned?' She shrugged off the thought and slapped a plastic lid over the large container she was using for her meal. "I'm not hungry anyway." She wasn't looking forward to tomorrow and her return to her horrible prison of a high school.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roxanne woke up in the worst way possible that morning- on the floor. She fumbled against her closet so she could get dressed for school. She knew that there was still an hour left, but she walked to school, and it took a while. She shoveled salad from the previous day into her mouth as a sort of breakfast and brushed her tangled mane of hair. She liked having long hair swinging behind her as she walked away from teaching someone a lesson- it enforced a feeling of importance and seriousness. She placed her contacts in (which, she was proud to say, were clear), and made a mad dash for the door.

As she gathered her things, the cold air swept over her like a sheet of darkness. It was early morning, and she forgot her jacket. But to her, the cold was a minor distraction. She hadn't had any "fun" since long ago in her freshman years. She had only told people off since then, but this was different. Today was the start of a fresh new week, a fresh new week where she tortured the innocent and rewarded the evil.

(Sorry this didn't come up sooner, I haven't had any time, what with Valentine's day and such. ^u^" Also, I fixed it, I didn't see the Monday post when I posted this xD )

The one called King has decided to take what precious little time he has to sleep in. Monday happens to be the only day of the week he doesn't have morning classes and after the night he had, he more than deserved it.

Just imagine having to deliver a pizza to the local mafia who offered protection to your place of work; then having to go a game of Russian Roulette solo. They were only playing a joke on him; at least that's what they told him when he won (the 5th time), but that'd be enough to shake up anyone. At least he got a couple slices out of it.

Regardless, it was all in that past now. As he slept, King wondered if the mysterious way the toppings spelled out "Kira will return" was a prank by his crazy co-worker who made it; in light of the recent deaths reported on t.v.

Sayuri was utterly bored. Despite having achieved her goal for the day she still had ages until the teachers arrived and the school actually opened. Not many students lurked near the entrance and she had nobody to talk to, her timid guise wouldn't allow it, not that she was particularly interested in the disgusting bugs that filled the seats at school, so instead she resigned herself to the 'loneliness'. She rifled through her schoolbag for a book of some sort to at least cure her boredom but she came up empty and instead she moved onto her last resort and flipped out her phone.

Hey Katsumi, got to school early for once! ^^ so boring with no one to talk to, see you later~

She hoped the other girl would reply, at least then she wouldn't be so bored, while she waited she decided to play one of the crappy games that came with the phone. She settled onto the steps of the entrance and leaned against the wall, half playing her game and half observing the few students that were scattered around the courtyard. Most were talking amongst each other, others were reading books or one their phones like herself. A few were evening attempting to hurriedly finish last night's homework.

Katsumi looked over at her phone as it chimed and she reached over, picking it up and reading the Text. It was from Sayuri.

Rolling her eyes with a smile, she texted back her friend. Doing this, she shut off her computer and got up, finishing her poptart and tossing the wrapper in the Trash. Katsumi hit the send button on her phone, leaving the message. It was nice to have some sort of friend as a under cover cop, right?

Haha, Well good for you! I'll be there in a little bit so you wont be so bored anymore! :)

Putting her phone into her pocket, she grabbed her bag and put on her light jacket, followed by grabbing her keys from the hook and walking out, closing the door behind her and locking it. Making her way to school now. The detective wasnt there. Probably on a case. I was surprised no one asked me for some help..yet. Being lost in her thoughts, she lost the track of time and was already at the school. Katsumi then looked for Sayuri, walking around, she soon found her "Hey Sayuri!"

Well at least she had someone to talk to now. She jumped up from her spot and headed over to Katsumi with a smile plastered onto her face, she hadn't expected her to actually come here so early but either way it worked out for Sayuri. "Thanks! I-It wasn't any trouble was it?" She asked sheepishly, her cheeks going slightly pink. Unlike most people Sayuri was a master of lies and so far nobody had ever suspected that she was nothing like her outward demeanor, she could not only blush when she wanted but even cry as well. She kept her voice shaky and soft, as usual, although she detested it, and only looked up at Katsumi through her bangs. "I didn't mean to make you c-come here or anything. I'm sorry...." She apologized, staring at the ground and frowning now.
