Fandom Death Note - Rebirth of God

Sayuri sat back into her chair instead of leaning forwards, she glanced sideways at Katsumi and pointed to herself. "I-Is she talking about m-me?" She asked, as if unsure Akemi had actually spoken the words. When the reporter mentioned praying she almost laughed but covered it up with a sneeze that seemed uncharacteristically loud. She smiled sheepishly at Akemi and shrugged. "W-What? They're ta-talking about me aren't they?" She watched Akemi and her reactions to what was going on. It was perfect. That was Sayuri's problem, too perfect. Although she could be overthinking things, actually, that was most likely it. She was jumping to conclusions too quickly. At least, she hoped she was.

(Arisa could say bless you or overhear that last part or something if you want ^^)

There's something odd about this... The chances of her having even lived long enough to be discovered just before dying are already really low as it is... But to live without so much as a noticeable scratch...? This one would definitely leave even my best friend's father baffled, and he knows everything there is to know about physics and such... Wait, why am I even questioning this...? Must be the illogical workings of the Death Note invading my mind... Arisa started observing the other students, seeing just what they were doing and everything. A few groups conversing here and there, some of which she took the time to listen in on for a little while to figure out what everybody's concerns were.

Arisa looked over at Sayuri and Katsumi, observing what's going on with the two who seemed to catch her attention more than the other students somehow. To some ears it would be more interesting to listen in on the other conversations, but not for Arisa at the moment. For instance, there was a group talking about the probability of her surviving with what types of injuries and how many injuries, a group talking about any legal concerns like how if she survived like she did, she could possibly have been the one to cause the plane crash, and then a few miscellaneous conversations.. Still, she paid exclusive attention to Sayuri and Katsumi from this moment on for some reason. Well, I should probably try and talk to them for a little while... Nothing else to really do...

"It Seems so, Sayuri." she said looking back at her "We did see her this morning and we were pretty friendly so I wouldnt be surprised." she pulled a box from her desk and opened it, eating the things inside, she handed Sayuri some chopsticks too. "Here, have some. You're so shocked by the tv I feel as if you'll pass out." she joked, laughing softly as she took another piece of a riceball that was prepared. Katsumi was nice to Sayuri and always shared with her

Saruwatari who has been watching the news this whole time decided that this girl who got out of a plane crash unscathed and the only survivor needs to be taught how unfair life really is. He sits on his couch deciding if he should try and kill her or just inflict a serious wound spread his name around. He guessed it would be good for popularity if his name got out a bit more. He sighs and keeps watching the television to see if anything else pops up.

Sayuri mumbled a soft thanks and nibbled here and there, still watching the TV intently and what was going on. How did she even come to school? Any normal person would have been traumatized beyond belief but..... You're overthinking this. She sighed and rested her head on one hand, brows drawn and chopsticks tapping softly. "I.....wh-why did she come to school?" She finally asked Katsumi. It was really beginning to bother her. "I'm pretty sure the sch-school would understand...." She trailed off, still deep in thought.

"I have no idea Sayuri, that is something that you're going to have to ask her." She pointed out "Maybe she didnt want the trama to interfear with her school things." that was most likely it but still a bit fishy "Or maybe to cope with it, she uses school to deal with it." shrugging, she took another piece of the riceball she was eating

"I would have to guess the former. Those who know a little about her would know she'd let nothing get in the way of her grades. I can say with greater certainty that she wouldn't let anything get in the way though, since I actually had a small conversation with her that kind of went on this subject." Arisa said, pulling her chair over in front of herself and sitting down on it backwards, right there next to Sayuri and Katsumi. "We only talked a few minutes, and she probably doesn't even remember me because of how drowned she is in sports and her schoolwork, though she specifically said she wouldn't let anything get in the way of her grades."

News Channel

"Haha... Yeah, I do love her. She's like an older sister. I don't know what I'd do if she weren't in my life. Makes me glad to have become such close friends with her. Definitely close enough to share an apartment." Akemi said in conclusion to the little chat regarding her everyday life. "Thank you for telling us a little bit about yourself. Now then, can you tell us a little bit about what happened...?" The news lady asked Akemi, the girl giggling silently and nervously for a second. "Alright... I'm not proud of being part of the event though..." Akemi said. She scratched her head for a moment, showing she was nervous. "I don't remember much, though I'll tell what I can."

"I was talking with a passenger sitting near me, when there was a loud noise. I didn't really know what it was, but it definitely had me a little worried. Shortly after the first, there was another loud noise. By that time, I guess just about everybody was panicking... Things... suddenly went dark." Akemi paused, letting it seem as though she were going through the events in her mind. "I remember hearing one last noise and some screaming, then everything went silent... Next thing I knew, I was curled up and trapped underneath something... Luckily, I wasn't injured, though my hair was caught under something for a while. I'm glad that was all that happened to me though..."
