"Um.. I don't really know, I just recognize you and I'm trying to figure out if you recognize me" she says crossing her arms over her chest and watching him walk towards her. She realizes she's going to need a better weapon. She ignores it for now. She looks at her avatar level and she realized she was a level 8. She didn't really know if that was good or bad.

Jake stopped, his eyes widening at her claiming to be- "You're the one I was showing around? I never got your name" he stated, sheathing his sword and chuckling a bit. He took a moment to look her up and down, still not being able to see the resemblance to her avatar. "You certainly look, stunning"

"You know, Just because you want to survive this game, it doesn't mean that you should have to be so frustrated." He said drawing his sword from a fresh kill. He didn't really much care for her attitude about the situation, even if he knew what it could mean for the both of them if they make one slip up.


"I mean, even if it is a death game, it's still a game." He said, trying to lighten the mood. The sky began to darken as the sun began to set in the skybox. "I read a tooltip that Xp gains are lessened when your rest level is low." he stated, refering to the basic game mechanics guide "And that monsters get more powerful, depending on the phase of the moon."


He looked at her status bar and saw that she was at a rest level of 50% "Maybe we should go to the town and maybe rent a couple rooms... Maybe catch a meal with the trash loot that we've aquired." Because Derik didn't start out the game killing mobs , his rest level was at a higher level of 88%. Sure they could kill mobs, but it would split between them and then they'd only get a percentage of that. They would also be much harder.

"As if" she says answering his compliment. She looks down at her feet for a second before looking back up. She sees different animals roaming around. It didn't look like any were near them. She notices that he was trying to connect how she looked now to her avatar. She always hated her blonde hair and hazel eyes so she changed it for the game but she guesses she can't really do that now. She was trying too figure out a plan to how she was going to survive this game besides getting stronger.

Jake couldn't help but think that she looked beautiful, even in the setting "Hey I'm just stating the obvious" he said, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. It wasn't every day you get stuck in a video game and meet a bunch of random people you have to live around for however long it took to clear the game, but, there was something down about it. Looking back up to meet her eyes he noticed her level. 8 huh. Seems alright. He thought to himself, hoping she wouldn't notice that he saw "Sooo..."

"I'm a solo player" he stated, his face slipping into a plain emptiness. After seeing what happened to the people in the beta test he couldn't be in a party. Especially now when anyone could die from any opponent. He clouldn't take seeing that happen now, which is why being alone might be just tge best option for him. Seeing the moon appear he looked up into the sky, looking over at Kate under the moonlight. "I'm Jake. Jake Sahvoz" he said, turning back to see if anything was out to kill.

"I know that... You shouldn't treat me like I know nothing." Celina puffed. She glanced up at the moon. The phase made the monsters the hardest, and she sighed. "Yeah, okay" She opened her menu and looked at her level, nearly 11 huh? she thought to herself. It was decent, since she was level 6 before she was informed this game was now held her life.

Joy had been looking around for quite a bit- enough time for almost everyone in the clearing to run out. He was about ready to give up when he heard Venus's voice from behind him. He turned as the blue-haired boy pat his head. Venus still looked the same, Joy observed, so perhaps it wasn't just him. "I did." Joy replied, bringing his hand up to touch his earlobe where his new 'tattoos' were. They were in his skin. "Why? Didn't you?"

Venus shook his head, "No, I look so boring in real life. Brown hair and brown eyes, not as lovely as my character. I'm staying like this." He hummed, taking Joy and sitting him down on one of the steps on the nearby staircase. "You look just like your character, I've never known people actually do that.' He whispered, shocked. "All my friends in the other game look nothing like their characters." He whispered, eyes wide in wonder. "What weapon did you get, I think everybody got something." He murmured, motioning to all the players taking out a weapon of some sort.

"Aw. I might've liked to see that." Joy said softly, following after Venus to the stairs. "I mean- yeah I guess.." Joy said, still feeling that small void in him. In all honesty, he wasn't sure if he actually looked like this in real life. "Weapon? Ah... I got a scythe." Joy opened his menu, however his menu was a bit different from other people's menu. For starters, it didn't have the logout button. No, not just it didn't have the logout button, but the selection for the logout button wasn't even there. It was just his items and skills. Joy went up to the items button and went over to his small list. "I've also got this cloak of Aki and mask." Joy mumbled, scrolling down to the r-butterfly scythe. He pulled the item out, the large thing dropping on the ground in front of them. Joy stared at it for a moment before he turned to look at Venus.

"I'm Kate" she says not saying her last name. She just pulled up her items in curiosity and she had a new weapon. It said it was a sword/ scythe. She just looked at it curiously no knowing if she should make it appear or not. She just continues looking at her player status and she was really close to level nine. She sees a group of wild boar and a couple wolves not very far. She says, "I'll be right back" she takes her beginning sword and slowly pulls it from her sheath. She slowly moves towards two boars. She activates a swords skill and hits makes swift gashes to the boars, finishing them off easily. She sees a couple wolves. She starts taking some damage but not bad. She finishes off them even though it was a little harder and she leveled up. She walks back over towards Jake.

"That thing is huge, can you even pick that up?" Venus asked, raising his vice over the clang of metal against stone. "I got a bow, it doesn't even have a name, just Unaviable." Venus hummed, opening his inventory and taking out the black bow. "The stats are so high too, way too high for a starter weapon." He mumbled, pressing his finger against the wood and presenting the stats screen to Joy. "I still have my guns too, if this is a life or death situation I'm sure that I can use them." He mumbled, sending the bow back into his inventory.


He manifested the glock, sticking it in his waistband and grinning. "Did you just say you want to see the real me? Maybe one day if we get out of this game." He whispered, though he doubted it. Even if they got to the hundredth floor Venus was never able to leave. He's been stuck in this world of MMORPGs for almost s year.

Jake observed her skills at killing boars not a bad skill, he thought to himself. Opening up his inventory he looked around for any food, seeing none he sighed. "So where are you headed to?" he asked, not like he wanted to follow along or anything just out of curiousity. Come to think of it, it would leave a good impression on him, seeing as how he was an ex beta tester, if he didn't help a 'tad' bit.

She sees the moon going higher and higher in the sky. She takes a good look around. There was a forest to her right, a little ways away. She looks back at him. "Where are you headed?" She asks but has no intention of following him.

"I'm not sure if I can..." Joy muttered, looking back to the weapon on the ground. He didn't bother standing up and getting it, just stayed where he was and left the weapon on the ground. "Hm, then you should level up so you can use it." Joy said, pointing out the obvious. "If it has high stats that means it's a good weapon, right?" He went back to his inventory, standing up. Joy picked out the cloak and put it on. He looked down at the torn ends of the fabric, then back over to Venus. Joy sat back down and still smiled. "Yeah... maybe."

"You've got a nice smile, it's been a while since I've seen a happy person." Venus mumbled, leaving it at that detail. He wasn't in the mood to describe his whole story to Joy. He barely knew him so why even try. "We should get started on training and hunting, want to be in a guild?" He asked, changing the subject randomly. Venus looked down, picking up the extremely heavy weapon and nodding. "Yeah, you'll need to be above ten or so levels before you can control this thing. Way too heavy for a starter to control." Venus paused and opened his menu, selecting the guild option he clicked create.


A blue keyboard manifested in front of him, he typed in Venus/Joy because his just didn't have any creativity at the moment and invited Joy to join. "When you join we'll be unable to hurt each other and can trade. I can give you some money for a starter weapon." He explained, not going too in detail as he didn't want to confuse the boy.

"This girl was a posh one." Derik thought to himself as he saw her pout, not wanting his tongue to slip up and say the wrong thing. He was never really good at beating around the bush, always taking the direct approach when it came to manners. He had received plenty of experience from killing the boars and leveling up his skills and professions thanks to his class passive [Ranger: Jack of all trades: All experience gains From professions, skills and monsters increased by 25%]


He thought that the combination of the trinket, skills and professions would make a valuable if not broken form of economic mechanics. She probably started ahead of him and he was already level 12. He didn't know what her level was so he asked... "So... what's your level if you don't mid me asking?"


He took out his pan and started to play, increasing his Musician skill.

"Thanks. I guess." Joy said, however the compliment felt to just pass by him. "Sure, a guild sounds kind of fun." Joy then replied, watching Venus go over to the weapon and try to lift it up. Apparently it was heavy. Joy stood up and went next to Venus, staring down at the scythe. He accepted the invitation before bending over and picking the scythe up. At first, he couldn't lift it, but after a few tugs he lifted it up breezily. The weapon sat in his hand, tilting a bit, before it fell over again. "Shoot." Joy muttered, staring at it. He went back through his inventory and placed the weapon back in. "Alright." He said, looking back over to Venus. "Sounds fair to me."

As soon as the request was accepted he swiftly moved to the currency trade, sending around 500 Cor. "There, that should be enough for a standard sword or club." Of course Venus had no clue what the prices in this game was, he wasn't a beta tester and was only accustomed to the money system in Gun Gale Online. "I really hope I can get experience from using an unregistered weapon." Venus whispered, looking at the remaining money he had left. Based on the system in other game he would have enough for a simple crossbow if worst came to worst.

Jake put his hands in his pockets, dazed off for a bit. When she spoke to him he tilted his head a tad bit, too lazy to do anything at the moment "No where in particular. . .I could show you a good hunting spot. . .i-if you'd like" said Jake, not trying to sound like a creep. He normally didn't help people but something about her made him want to help her. It was odd.

She goes into her inventory and clicks on a black cloak she had. It was getting a little breezy since the sun went down.

Marcus sat in the corner while every one started freaking out. He knew that everyone would be going to lvl up, and gain experience, or do quests. What they didn't know was the quest and exp regeneration system. Marcus knew that by 9 pm in the real world which would be about 3 am in this world all the exp and quest would be reset so other players could take them. So all he had to do was wait and bide his time to play his little game he called life. Even though Marcus wasn't a beta tester he still new the game like the back of his hand. It truly helped if you would ask the npc's and read about a game before you by it. Marcus just walked through the town without a care in the world killing stray beast as he went just passing time for the regen.

The last thing he would want was to have a party member die, which meant he'd have to watch out until he showed her what he promised to show her then leave. He had to, if he stayed only more people would shun him and learn to hate him because of being a beta tester. "Care to stay here for a bit?" he asked, leaning against a tree.

She knew she couldn't, she needed to stay sane, she needed to keep her cool. She doesn't notice her hands ball into fists but she keeps her emotions from showing on her face. She couldn't break right now. She was mad but she wouldn't let it show. She relaxes her hand. She kind of wanted to get a move on so she wouldn't have time to think, she wanted to stay distracted but she just focused on the star. She doesn't know realize she is zoned out, not noticing anything around her.
