Only accepted characters go in the character sign up section. Put your applications in the OOC and once accepted, move them over to the character section. This will just keep the character section nice and clean with accepted sheets.

Hey guys, I just want to say that we are getting this started again. BMan and I are the GM's and therefore are in charge and such. Anyway, due to work, finals, school, extra stuff, I let this die out last time. Now though, with a co-gm helping me, this will hopefully become THE DC RP on this site. Just letting everyone know, we start out with origin stories.

Character:

Batman (Bruce Wayne)

Age:

24

Appearance:

Brucewayne.jpg

batman_by_vandythebeast-d8thh7s.png

Powers/Abilities:

a. Peak Human Conditioning: Due to intensive training and a strict diet, Bruce has advanced strength, speed, endurance, and reflexes on levels higher than even Olympic athletes.

b. Master of Stealth: After training in ninjutsu and the way of the assassin with various masters, Bruce has nearly mastered the art of stealth. He is able to get in and out of most heavily guarded areas without being seen but has still yet to put this to actual use.

c. Martial Arts: Bruce has trained in nearly all martial arts on the planet at least on his own. He is an expert in boxing, jiu jitsu, karate, ninjutsu, and the way of the assassin. He also has basic knowledge of many other forms of fighting.

d. Genius Level Intellect: Bruce is secretly one of the smartest men on the planet. He has studied various forms of detective skills and deductive reasoning. He has in-depth knowledge in criminology, psychology, medicine, anatomy, computer and natural sciences, economics, botany and forensics.

e. Playboy Benefits: Due to being one of the richest men on the planet, Bruce has nearly unlimited resources. He has millions to spend on his crime fighting arsenal and has cash enough to spend on failed gadget experiments multiple times over.

f. Batman's Cowl: (will be a simple Kevlar vest and helmet that covers his face in the beginning.) The Batsuit is made up of multiple layers of thin yet extremely durable Kevlar fibers. The mask has built in thermal and detective vision lenses and can be collapsed into a gas filtering mask and re-breather.

g. Look at all these Toys: (Most of if not all of this will be absent in the beginning and added as Batman gets older.) Batarangs, grapple gun, smoke pellets, short range emp, wrist mounted tranquilizer darts, first aid kit, lockpicks, zip ties, forensics kit, explosive gel, stun gun, flash bangs, Batmobile, Batwing, etc....

Weaknesses:

a. Human: Perhaps Bruce's biggest weakness as a super hero is the absence of powers. He has no invulnerability of any kind and can therefore be injured or killed by anything that would do so to a normal human

b. I'm the Damned Batman: Bruce has a tendency to overestimate his abilities. While he is able to take out most thugs easily, he can underestimate the more dangerous foes and get in bad situations.

c. Loner: Batman can be a lonely man. He tends to push people away and does not trust easily. This can put him at odds with even other heroes.

d. I'm Not Obsessed: Batman's war on crime takes up literally his entire life. Even when severely injured, he refuses to admit defeat and will push hiself way past his limits resulting in further injury.

Back-story:

The Wayne family has been the richest family in Gotham for as long as anyone can remember. Bruce's family has been building the city since the days before the Civil War and continued to do so for years. In the current generation, Wayne Enterprises is run by Phillip Kane, Bruce's Uncle on his mother's side.

Naturally, young Bruce had a privileged life as a child. His father, Dr. Thomas Wayne, was the heir to the business but turned the role of leadership down to study medicine and surgery. He allowed his wife's brother to take over the business and was allowed to keep billions of dollars.

During a trip with his father to London, terrorists attacked the city. The Wayne's were saved from the attack by a young MI-5 agent named Alfred Pennyworth. The young agent was severely injured in the attack however and lost his leg. Dr. Thomas managed to save the man's life but his career in British intelligence was over. Due to Bruce's request, Alfred was offered a job as a butler for the Wayne family. Seeing no other viable work, he took the job and eventually emerged as a mentor in Bruce's life.

Two years later, at age twelve, Bruce went to see the Mark of Zorro in the theatre. It was an old film but Bruce fell in love with it. The family saw it four times in two weeks. The last time however, Bruce's parents were murdered walking back to the car. The killer thought that robbing the Wayne's would make him instantly rich but when Thomas informed him that he didn't carry much money to avoid incidents like this, he got agitated.

Young Bruce was left crying in the rain over his parents' dead bodies until the police arrived. For two months the murders were investigated but the killer was never found. Alfred became Bruce's legal guardian, and his uncle tried his best to provide for Bruce the best he could. Money could not heal his wound however, the only thing that could was his personal vow to rid Gotham City of crime completely.

He asked Alfred to train him to be a secret agent. The butler reluctantly agreed and for two years taught young Bruce boxing and investigation techniques. Bruce was a fast learner and spent literally all of his free time learning these skills. He began a constant exercise routine and strict diet. Alfred soon realized that boxing was not going to satisfy his young ward.

At fourteen years old, Bruce and Alfred began traveling the world. During these travels the official story was that Bruce was studying in international schools to prepare himself to take over Wayne Enterprises. The real story was that for those ten years he trained under the best fighting instructors in the world in everywhere from Japan to France.

When Bruce was 20, he was approached by Ra's al Ghul, the leader of the League of Assassins. Against Alfred's wishes, Bruce trained with the Assassins for the last four years of his ten year trip. Bruce established himself as the best young student in the League due to his prior training but eventually had a falling out with Ra's over the final trial. This trial was to kill an innocent to show that the trainee had left their humanity behind and become an Assassin. Bruce refused and had to fight his way out of the training grounds.

Bruce and Alfred have been back in Gotham for about two months now, and Bruce thinks it is finally time to put all his training into use. Gotham was haven to even more criminals since he left, Bruce was going to fix that.

Arc Ideas:

Dawn of Batman:

Bruce takes on his first criminal organization, the Red Hood gang. The mysterious Red Hood One has blackmailed hundreds of Gotham's citizens into joining this order, but he also manages to create The Batman.

A Dent in Gotham:

Batman teams up with new assistant district attorney Harvey Dent in order to take out the gangs that have sprung up after the fall of the Red Hood.

That Joke Knocked em Dead:

A serial killer has arisen in Gotham. He cuts smiles into the faces of his victims and leaves them in plain sight for the police, and Batman, to see. Newly promoted Commissioner Gordon turns to Batman for help

Superman

The Man of Steel

Age: 22

Powers/Abilities:

  • Superhuman Strength given to him but the sun's radiation. Superman is able to pick up and toss just about any on planet Earth.
  • Limited invulnerability, small weapons fire and punches from regular humans do hardly any damage. Superman cannot take a round from a tank or stop a speeding train without getting hurt for example. Also if another superhuman with super strength hits him it will hurt.
  • Solar healing factor. When on a planet with a yellow or other wise young star, Superman can heal extremely quickly.
  • Superman can run extremely fast and jump impossibly high, however he has not yet mastered the art of flying.
  • He cannot control heat vision and super breath. He can turn it on but only with extreme concentration, and it is even harder to aim or turn off.
  • X-ray Vision is completely operational for our young Superman. Let's just say he figured that one out as a teenager. He is also able to see EM frequencies and microscopic particles/organisms with the naked eye.
  • He also has a heightened sense of smell and hearing.
  • Fighting for Superman at this point in time is basically punch it until it stops. He has no knowledge of any type of martial arts or fighting techniques as of yet.
  • Superman does not yet have any invincible Kryptonian Battlesuits but he does have his cape which is itself invincible. He usually wears a t-shirt with the same 's' as his cape on the chest and a pair of jeans or track pants.

Weaknesses:Kryptonite weakens Superman by blocking his ability to use his powers. These chunks of his home planet trick his body into thinking he is on Krypton essentially making him feel human. Walking into a room of Kryptonite will not kill Superman but he will find it hard to function as he will feel like a human which compared to how he usually is means extremely weak. Getting stabbed or shot by a piece of Kryptonite will also block his healing factor making it extremely dangerous. This is the only way Superman could bleed out or die of wounds. The same effect can be achieved when Superman is on a planet with a red or similarly old star. Being on such planets will make him completely unable to use any of his powers and he will be just like a normal human. The amount of gravity on a planet affects his ability to jump and fly. Earth is normal gravity and he is able to fly normally. Put him on the moon or in space and his flying abilities are enhanced but put him on a world with high gravity and it will be hampered. In very very rare cases gravity will make him unable to fly. Of course a red star would make this true as well.

Clark is also weak when it comes to magic as it effects him in the same way it effects most people. Superman's powers are biological not magical so he is susceptible to many forms of magic. In fact using magic against the Man of Steel is the second most effective way of fighting him behind using Kryptonite.

Backstory/Orgins: The last son of Krypton, Kal-El was born to the foremost scientist on the planet of Krypton Jor-El and his wife Lara. As an infant, Kal's father discovered that in a few short months Krypton would be destroyed. Jor-El spent months trying to convince the Kryptonian government to evacuate the planet however they were distracted by the uprising of General Zod the foremost military leader of Krypton. Ignored by the government, Jor-El began constructing prototype spacecrafts capable of bringing his family to a new home. Time ran out however and as the planet destroyed itself killing billions, Jor made sure his son would escape by placing him in the only working stasis pod in working condition. Jor programmed the ships Braniac computer to target worlds with yellow suns and low gravity knowing that it would make his son a god among men. The planet was destroyed and the only surviving pieces of it became known as Kryptonite.

22 Years ago Kal's pod crashed in Smallville, Kansas where he was found and adopted by the Kent family. Renamed ClarkKent, he was raised as a farmer and taught good morals at a young age. The only thing remaining from his Kryptonian heritage was a red cape with a black El family crest on the back. As a young child he often used it as a blanket. It wasn't until the age of ten when Clark's parents told him of how they found him after he had shot lasers out of his eyes for the first time. They told him that they had no idea where he was from but they knew his real parents must have sent him to Earth for a reason. Clark's father then explained to him that his powers were only to be used for good. Growing up Clark was bullied at his local elementary school but never raised a hand at his attackers saying that his parents taught him to never "punch down." During this time, Clark began to discover his powers. At the age of 11, he saved a bus load full of kids from drowning by pulling it out of the water during a school field trip.

During his freshman year in high school, Clark fell in love with his childhood best friend, Lana Lang. Despite his nerdy personality and what some would consider a naive viewpoint of the world, the two began dating. They stayed together all throughout high school but eventually grew apart when they attended college states away from each other. To this day, Lana is the only other person besides Clark's parents that knows about his powers.

In college Clark was room mates with a rich young man named James Olsen. The two quickly became best friends though Clark kept his powers hidden. Jimmy majored in photography and Clark in journalism where he met Lois Lane. She became the third part of the trio and throughout college the three became extremely close. Eventually Clark began to have feelings for Lois but never acted upon them because of his plans to reveal himself to the world after college.

During college, Clark practiced his abilities. He honed his speed and agility as well as his super sight/hearing. He never quite mastered flying or heat vision during this time but has become adept enough to use these abilities to his advantage.

After the trio graduated, they moved to Metropolis together. Jimmy's parents bought them a large three bedroom apartment in the city where the three live together. Within a week, they all got jobs at the Daily Planet. The newspaper had recently been bought by billionaire Morgan Edge and was having a new building being constructed.

After settling into his job and new home for a month, he disguised himself and went to a local clothing shop. He had 100 t-shirts printed with the 'S' logo from his cape on the torso and begins his career.

Arc Ideas:

Mob Wars: Clark has just begun his crime fighting career by going after the organization of Bruno Mannheim. Little does he know that Intergang is actually funded by Lex Luthor, the son of the most prestigious weapons manufacturer for the United States government.

Superman Invasion: Superman has wondered about his heritage for his entire life. He never thought it would be revealed to him in this way however. General Zod and his companions have escaped from the Phantom Zone and intend to re-create Krypton on the ashes of Earth.

Last Son of Krypton: Brainiac attacks Earth in search of the only thing that has ever escaped him. Kal-El, the last son of Krypton.

Now, since we both posted our character sheets here, we can move them to the character section. #example

Haha anyway sorry that we might be stressing this rule to much, but I personally prefer how Vandy has this set up.

Hey guys, I'm GreenGrenade. I came over from another site, RPGuild, where Vandy's helping me with my own DCU RP. If it's okay, I'll get to work on a Flash CS.

The Flash

Barry Allen

the_flash_by_mattdemino-d67shov.png

Age:

19

Powers/Abilities:

Super Speed; By tapping into the Speed Force, Barry can run at speeds that reach up to Mach 5. This isn't limited to how fast he can run - his speed enhanced his healing factor, able to heal a broken arm in less than three hours. He hasn't yet mastered his powers, and doesn't yet know the full extent of them.

Speed Force Aura; The accompanying power to his super speed, Barry and anyone he is carrying is protected from the effects of speed - particularly friction and airborne particulate matter. It also protects him from high-speed impacts, allowing him to sustain only minor injuries. This in turn also means that he has a low-level resistance to injury.

Intelligence; Barry's brain moves as fast as he does. He can think extremely quickly, able to read a book in mere seconds and retain the knowledge he gained. He is a skilled forensic scientist, very knowledgeable in criminology and chemistry. He can alter his perceptions of time; it can seem to pass so slowly that a second feels like years, during which he can alter elements of his environment without anyone noticing.

Weaknesses:

Aside from his enhanced healing factor and resistance to injury, Barry is the same as any other human. If he isn't careful, he can die from injuries as simple as a broken neck. A well-aimed gunshot can end his life, just as easily as a stab wound to the heart. His impulsiveness and general lack of pre-planning is also an issue, as he often runs into a crime scene without a second thought. This proves problematic, especially if the opponent he's facing can manipulate temperature to Absolute Zero: this significantly slows him down, leaving him open for a killing blow.

Backstory/Origins:

Barry Allen was born in Central City to the happily married Henry and Nora Allen. He loved his parents whole-heartedly; both of them gave him all of their love, all of their support; nothing could drive a wedge between them. Early on, he befriended Iris West, daughter of Joe West, police officer and close friend of the Allens. The two developed a strong friendship, and soon, nothing could separate them. They would do everything together - the two would often have to be dragged out of each other's homes by their parents. Barry had a best friend and loving parents, and he wouldn't have it any other way. He was the happiest eleven year-old there ever was.

This all changed when his mother died. Sleeping soundly in his bed, Barry was awoken by a noise coming from downstairs. Walking towards it, he saw a horrifying image: his mother on her knees, in the middle of a red and yellow tornado-like blur, begging for her life. Calling out to his mom in confusion, Barry attracted the attention of both his father and the cause of the blur. The former yelled to his son to get out of there, and the latter suddenly stopped moving. It appeared to be a man dressed in a yellow suit, always blurry, always vibrating, his red eyes searing into Barry's soul. And just like that, Barry was out of the house, transported several blocks down. By the time he got back, there were police cars parked in front of his home, and his father was being escorted out of the house in handcuffs, telling Barry not to go into the house. Scared and confused, Barry ignored Henry's warning as he entered the house. The first thing he saw was Joe, looking solemnly, almost apologetically, at Barry. The second thing ran his blood cold.

His mother was dead.

Barry was told that his father had killed his mother with a knife, stabbing her in the heart, and that he would live the rest of his life in prison. Of course, nobody believed him when he said that that was untrue, or when he tried to explain what really happened. When he realised that he was just going to be dismissed again and again, Barry devoted himself to finding out who really killed his mother. He would get to the bottom of this.

The next seven years were a blur. Joe took Barry in, raising him alongside Iris. Barry studied his social life away, teaching himself forensic science, criminology and chemistry, only making time for Iris, who had proven to be invaluable to him over the years. Soon, his life settled into a rhythm: study, spend time with Iris, visit dad. At age sixteen, Barry asked a favour of Joe. He was given the case files for his mother's murder, and he got to work, looking for loopholes, for missing links, anything that might clear his father's name. But, after two years of relentless searching, Barry was yet to find anything helpful. Instead, it found him.

A storm was raging outside of the school lab. Barry had stayed overtime, running an experiment that would be one for the textbooks. Lightning flashed, thunder roared, and the chemicals of the experiment floated out of their flasks and tubes, as if gravity no longer existed. Fascinated, Barry stared at the liquids. He didn't hear the window shatter. He didn't hear the thunder clap. He didn't see the yellow bolt of lightning seeking him out. He only felt the searing pain as it collided with him, sending him flying across the room, dousing him with the chemicals which were floating only milliseconds before. He didn't wake up until nine months later.

Upon waking up in Central City General Hospital, Barry discovered that the lightning had left him relatively unharmed. As a matter of fact, it seemed like he was even fitter and healthier than before. Moving back in with Joe and Iris, things seemed normal for a few days... until an involuntary muscle spasm in his right leg sent him dashing right into a brick wall, breaking his arm. Admitting himself back to the hospital, Barry had his arm placed in a splint, only to find it healed and strong within three hours.

Since then, Barry continued to discover new aspects of his powers, and spent weeks learning to control them. Once he felt that he was ready, Barry contacted one Cisco Ramon; a worker at STAR Labs who he had met in a science conference not long before he was struck by lightning. Revealing his powers to the man, the two worked together on a friction-resistant suit which would be contained inside a ring, able to be worn on a whim. Once the suit was completed, Barry took it for a test run...

And the Flash was revealed to the world.

Arc Ideas:

Rise of the Rogues: Barry Allen has only recently debuted as the Flash, and so far, there's been nothing he couldn't handle. This changes when a duo identifying as the Rogues start pulling off heists all over Central City; armed with dangerous technology, Captain Cold and Heatwave are a force to be reckoned with.

Last Ape Standing: He's coming for the Speed Force. Nothing can stop him. And once he gets what he came for... the world will bow down to Grodd.

Reverse: After all these years spent searching for clues, for evidence, for something, Barry's finally found him. The man in yellow. The man that killed his mother.

Captain Marvel William(Billy) Batson

Age : 14

Appearance:

63564L.jpg

Powers/Abilities: http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Esoteric_Lightning_Manipulation

By calling the name of the Wizard Shazam, William transforms into the great Captain Marvel who powers fit in an acronym.

  • S: Solomon for Wisdom

Captain Marvel possesses great understanding and realization of people, concepts, and events. He's able to make judgements and act upon this wisdom.

  • H: Hercules for Strength

Captain Marvel possesses great strength much like that of Hercules who best a lion invulnerable to weapons with his bare hands. This is also the root of Captain Marvel's bare handed fighting style as he feels his hands serve him better than any weapon also the fact he broke most weapons he tried to use.

  • A: Atlas for Stamina

Captain Marvel much like the Titan Atlas who holds up the sky, he possesses great stamina and can resist fatigue and its toxins. However, some fresh lighting from the sky that he didn't create always does him well when he absorbs it.

  • Z: Zeus for lightning

Captain Marvel most notably lf his powers can manipulate lightning/electricity. But this no ordinary lightning but lightning with magical effects that surpasses the traditional limitations of lightning and is truly the core of all his powers. As he even transforms using his lightning.

A: Achilles for Courage

Captain Marvel has the courage of man who has no need of it(because Achilles was neigh invulnerable). Captain Marvel can face all his challenges without fear or doubts. But that's unless his powers suddenly stop working.

  • M: Mercury for Speed

Captain Marvel can essentially move very fast which is symbolic of Hermes(Greek for Mercury) who had be a messenger. It's ironic because he delivers news as a reporter in his normal life.

  • The only power that could be considered outside the acronym is Captain Marvel's flight.

Weaknesses: Captain Marvel's greatest weakness is his human form. As his human form is well human, he has to be able to call out SHAZAM to transform, meaning he's helpless before he transforms. He has to revert to his human form to maintain a secret identity. In other words, if you can prevet William from saying "SHAZAM!" then he is mostly disarmed, Example: an attack beyond the speed of sound will actually interrupt his transformation as it would hit him before he could call out Shazam.

Backstory/orgins: Billy grew up in Fawcett City with his parents and twin sister. C.C. and Marylin Batson(William's parents) were archaeologist, Billy though didn't see much value in archaeology itself loved the stories and legends behind the artifacts. It would be this love for stories that would lead to Billy becoming a reporter in his free time. However, Billy and his sister when with his parents on a vacation to the Mediterranean region for various archaelogical finds. For his parents it was more work than vacation. They were working with a man named Theo Adam. One day when his parents stumbled upon their biggest find in the tomb of Ramses II, Theo Adam murdered them. Theo spokes some madness of being the reincarnation of someone called Teth Adam from ancient Egypt. Theo then kidnapped Billy's sister Mary along a scarab he took from the tomb and disappeared. Billy tried to get help and people to investigate but the case went cold, no justice was served.

Billy's life went straight to the dumps at this time. He was about 12 years old an orphan on the streets of Greece, he had managed to make it there with what little money he had sl he'd atleast wouldn't fear the weather. Even when he made it to an orphanage it was little better than the streets. Eventually he found himself rescued but more abducted from this terrible life by a wizard name Shazam. Shazam had learned of the events that befell Billy and bestowed him with the power to become Captain Marvel, he also told Billy of how to seek out Theo Adam who at this time used the Scarab to become Black Adam and Billy nemesis. Billy acted on this and hunted Adam down along with his employer only to learn Adam had actually lost his sister. He made it his personal mission to one day find her again.

Billy with the power of Captain Marvel managed to make his way back to Fawcett city and on his Uncle's doorstep. He was about 14 at this time and of course to young to claim his inheritance, his Uncle became his legal guardian and was also made aware about Billy's powers. In highschool, he found himself taking up the game of Lacrosse as well as a job as a news reporter. But he knows as Captain Marvel he shall become a hero to rival those of the myths he admires so much. First he has to train like they did or rather unlike what most of them did, maybe actually training is what'll help him not reach the tragic ends many of them reached.

Arc ideas:

Black Adam's Revenge: Black Adam comes to Fawcett City to challenge Captain Marvel to settle the score. He periodically terrorizes the city and too many people mistake for Marvel himself. So Marvel can't hide or ignore this challenge for his very name rests upon it.

Humanity's Demons: The seven deadly sins have been released and are now causing huge problems for Earth. Marvel has to hunt the Sins down, defeat them, and the imprision then once more before they cause humanity to end itself.

Jealousy: A magic user of the dark arts and necromnacy named Felix Faust seeks to steel Marvel's powers for his own evil purposes.

Captain Marvel is fine. He can be an exception and made younger if you want, since that is his character and all. Also hello Grenade! Your Flash is accepted by me, looks like you used your old guild sheet lol. Anyway move him on over. I'll get to reading those other two sheets ASAP.

Lol yep, I just copy/pasted it over here. Removing all the BB code was a damn pain, though.

Yeah no kidding, I hated that. I'm still getting the hang of this site's code.

So for Wonder Woman, first off ARGUS and the Justice League don't exist yet so... Also she seems extremely powerful for the beginning. Plus we are fleshing out everyone's origin stories in the beginning. There is no way she has met the president yet, she is still starting out. Also, avoid comparing her to other characters in the powers section, no mentioning she's as fast as the Flash, or as strong as Superman etc...

About to read Shazam.

BMan said:
So I guess we have a Flash now, that was fast.
Haha yep, don't worry he's cool. Grenade is a really good player.

So for Shazam, everything looks good except for one thing. Shazam couldn't have had his powers for two years yet. He hasn't been a hero. Origin story in the beginning remember. He can have powers and such, but he would have mostly been learning to control them, not heroing. If that's a word. Also maybe expand on his weaknesses just a little bit. Not much.

BMan, thoughts on those two sheets?

I agree on both of them. And I'm cool with having a Flash already, Glad to have you GreenGrenade.

Sweet, I think we are going to get this all started pretty quickly and let those who are accepted start posting. Maybe as soon as tomorrow but probably not.

Right Vandy?

You're welcome Grenade!

And yeah, we want to get this started pretty quickly. Anyways, it is about time for me to go to bed, got an early work shift in the morning. I'll check up on this again before I head to work.

I know she's really powerful, she's freaking Wonder Woman. I didn't tell you to scale her down because she's a woman but because she, like everyone else, is a ROOKIE hero in the beginning of this RP. My Superman can't even fly properly yet. See what I'm getting at?

She could have been in America for a month, but as I said there is no way she has met the president. The government hates heroes right now, in fact most everyone does. That is a big part of what I'm going for in this is for us to earn our right to be loved by the people. Right now everyone is scared of us and the president wants us to all go away.

ARGUS isn't going to exist until after the Justice League gets together. They are the American government's answer to the League, they are literally formed because of the League. There have been other forms of the organization in the past, but right now they do not exist.

Dangit, someone took the Flash before I finished my app...I don't have any other characters I want to use and actually know well...

(I hope this is more to your liking)

-Lasso of Truth:

Wonder Woman is subject to the lasso just like everyone else.

History:

Wonder Woman is the daughter of Queen Hippolyta, the leader of the amazons. She comes from Themyscira, a magical island given to the Ancient Greek amazons by the goddess Artemis. The island was given to the amazons after they escaped enslavement by the evil demigod Hercules and his army of men. The island has a magical barrier that stops time from passing.

Legend told that Diana was born of her mother's strong desire for a child, a lump of clay brought to life in the form of a girl; the perfect Amazon, as she was born of no man. The truth, though, was that Hippolyta had had an affair with Zeus, and Diana's real parentage was hidden in order to protect the Queen and her daughter from the wrath of Zeus' notoriously jealous wife Hera. As such, Diana's powers were inherited through her godly blood. Diana doesn't know the real story revolving around her conception.

Diana grew up on the island and was raised by her mother, the queen of the amazons. As the Amazon princess it was Diana's duty to study diplomacy and the art of combat in case the island was ever invaded by the outsiders from the world of men.

Diana had many encounters with the Greek gods as a child, being the daughter of Zues can do that to a person. There was a time when she was trained by Ares the God of war himself but Ares gave up on her after she showed mercy, one of her most admirable attributes, by refusing to kill the Minotaur.

There was another instance when Diana was nineteen and had to go into the Underworld to convince Hades, the God of death, to release her sister Artemis after she'd been killed by the Minotaur. Diana felt responsible for not killing the beast as a child. Hades agreed to free Artemis from the underworld if Diana would kill the hydra for him.

Diana then went on a quest and killed the monster. When the deed was done and Diana kept her part of the deal Hades let Artemis leave the underworld and return to Themyscira.

A month ago Colonel Steve Trevor, an Air Force pilot and U.S. Government Agent crash landed on Themyscira. As a man it was up to the queen of the amazons, Diana's mother, to figure out who should take Steve back to his home in America. There was a contest to find the strongest Amazon and she would be their ambassador and the one to take Steve home.

Diana was forbidden to enter the contest by her mother but of course Diana didn't listen. She wore a disguise and entered the contest behind her mother's back.

Diana won the contest and her mother had no choice but to let her take Steve home to America.

Arch 1:

After taking Steve Trevor back to America and dropping him off at a hospital disguised as a nurse she stopped a large scale bank robbery using her powers.

This story is broadcast all over the news and worried Americans immediately started protesting that the Amazon. They said that the government had to do something about her.

Unsure what to do the president sends out Agent Trevor to find her and be her bodyguard (not that she needs one). His mission escort her to the white house.

Steve finds Diana wandering the streets of Boston taking pictures and signing a few autographs with her few supporters, she is obviously confused by this new world.

Arch 2:

When the two of them arrive to Washington D.C. to meet with the President of the United States, They get stopped in the mist of a superhuman protest. When Wonder Woman offers to help fight against who they were protesting against, she was shocked to find they were protesting her. Diana leaves the premises realizing that the people of man's word want nothing to do with her.

Steve Trevor follows her and the two share a conversation about how people don't always have positive reactions to what they don't understand. Steve offers to share his apartment with Diana until she can get on her feet in this new place.

Arch 3:

Diana accepts Steve's offer and starts making a few bucks as news stations and TV show hosts want to pay her for interviews. This allows Diana to start making a name for herself by being an ambassador for her people, becoming a fighter for women's and all civil rights, doing community service work to help the less fortunate, and of course fighting crime as the Amazonian warrior, Wonder Woman
