And i agree we can make a kinda quest about it. Make it so that the being that did it needs to be taken out (or parlayed with) in order to remove it. Something that only the magic users would even know how to do or that it even could be done.

Hey why can't we have gods or goddesses from existing pantheons? Cause like im pretty sure every religion and mythology is true in the dc universe. I'm asking cause I'm trying decide on what Gotham is like religiously and what how my version of catwoman views are but I'm a bit confused on the religion.

You can. They just must be different and don’t hold the lore they do in our real world or Dc continuity . We are kinda building our own pantheon for this world… or region (most kingdoms are on the Eurasian continent. Skartaris is technically in Greenland.)

For example, Helios (the dead one not Superman.) is not a greek or roman god here instead he was the patron of Mepolis. Zeus was not his daddy, Sol was (the depiction of the Earths Sun in Neil gaimans sandman.) So he still exists as a God, just not a Greek god. Likewise For the Moon goddess, Yune which is just a renaming of Artemis for the sake of that name being available if someone wanted to make something akin to that.

So gotham could have Bastet as a cat goddess from its own pantheon with its own history. Or it could be part of some trinity godhead of Night represented by A Bat, Rat, And Cat.

Then i ask that you tweak them slightly to make them Ulgenian Gods rather than egyptian. The main problem is each mythology comes with an origin myth that cannot exist within this universe.
