Other than that, I should say that I am highly invested into writing, reading, video games, anime/manga watching movies too, unf that be good as fuck. I also aspire to be a voice actor (Have since I was a wee lad, honestly. It was the most aspired thing other than being a comedian/actor.) My mom knows I'm a total goofball psychopath and we share a sick sense of humor. (Huehuehue) I don't let life shit on me a lot either, I always keep a smile up and always look on the bright side, I also make a joke out of anything. ANYTHING. My closest friends know I have no filter either, especially in public. Restraint is hard for a comedy-loving bastard like me.

I like soda. And pizza. Is goddamn delicious.
These couple of months have been hard on me recently, mainly starting in November. But I've been keeping my head up hiiiiigghh.
I like roleplaying, obviously. Or I wouldn't be on here. I also like Yu-Gi-Oh. Card games 'n shit.

I also wish I had a girlfriend again, mine of 3 years dumped me back in May for a douchebag.
Which added onto my already shitty end of 2016 into 2017 XD.

Whike i agree with the statement you made, it was well within my characters abilities to reflect attacks, as for the awareness it wasnt cosmic, just telepathic. Stealth cant work on someone who can sense a minds presence, nor will surprise attacks.

He wasnt designed to be an easy battle but i assure you he is beatable. After all hes already been hit hard before. To be honest i was going to reflect the mystic ball as well, but it seemed too easy. I have also not forced anyone to take a hit from the blast either. So i dont think it qualifies as metagaming.

One must think to beat Val, his whole perpose is to pose a threat to the overpowered and underthinking opponents.

Don't get me wrong, I love the powers but like most DBZ powers they're OP. However, they happen to be more OP than usual (like a few other Powers like the paralysis many DBZ characters can use) sdue to the fact that they directly control not only things made by him, but others (Not even mentioning the psionic screech and the Mind Spike)

Let me rephrase. Res' Mystic Ball was not a sneak attack and wasn't meant to be. The realistic nature of it was that your character was in the middle of using his powers to avoid being hit by another attack. Unless your character has the ability to use his powers omnisciently (?) ( using two separate attacks at the same time) then the attack would have hit.

Once again, the character is fine. I just want to know more about the way they work and why certain things happen.

To sum it up, my concern is with what the limitations of Val's powers are because so far it seems that he doesn't have any, as you stated yourself he didn't have as high of a power level so a strong enough attack should have definitely broke through his Repulse attack.

I do want to note that I'm only concerned because if I'm correct, this is not a villain and he's supposed to join us later.

Also i cant let him get smacked up too badly because he needs to be conscious to progress the plot...
He is ment to lose here if its any concelation.

I will keep your concerns in mind, so i will fully descrive the limits of his abilities. Though i dont exactly see how using his repulse and then flying down is too much.
As for his telepathy it isnt really an ability, more like a sense, its always active. The psyonic attacks are A bit hard to deal with but they are not able to incapacitate an opponent unless they are nearly powerless. Its more like a warning to others than anything else, the Psyonic spike is damaging but requires focus.
The Repulse is his ultimate, it spawns a 360 degree barrier that reflects attacks and is very quick to cast, even able to catch point blank attacks he sees coming, however it doesnt change the consistency of the energy, youd need to be at least 10x- 20x stronger than him to take him out with a blast (if your ki is mastered enough you can absorb the attack back.)
Also his powers do have limits as shown by the being out of breath after teleporting away. Which brings me to his teleportation, he can warp those weaker than himself, but not those who are stronger. It also tires him out the most.
The telekinesis he blocks with can slow melee attacks allowing him to dodge more easily. And its how he avoids most attacks, but can be overcome with heavy hits as shown by his taking takashi's ult. (hes still not in good shape, ignoring pain doesnt negate the injury.)

To sum it up, Val is really on his last legs, that initial hit almost downed him and while transforming helped a little, he is still hurt. he was innitially supposed to be a team boss but the others stayed at the lookout. It isnt his power that makes him deadly its the alien nature of how he fights. Once someone figures out his abilities they can get around them. So the fight will be over shortly.

On an unrelated note, is there a way this battle is supposed to end without killing him, as if he's "hurt" but still taunting everyone, specifically Res, as Takeshi has given up, Res probably would end up trying to go all the way through with homicide if given the chance.

To sum it up, in general, if you've talked to Rusty of Shackleford then you guys should at least let everyone else know what's going on so we're not completely in the dark as the RPers. Once we know what's supposed to happen, we can adjust accordingly with our posts.

The reason hes so damn cold and Emotionless is due to watching his world die and being powerless to stop it. Thats why he isnt warning anyone becuase he honestly doesnt believe that anyone here could make a difference, a belief that has been shaken by finding not one but two beings on this world who are more powerful than he is. The battle will end with this next post, Well val will stop fighting at least. I cant speak for the others.

As long as Res doesn't feel like your character insulted him, Res will stop as soon as he realizes the other party isn't fighting anymore. He'll probably offer Val a lollipop or something, tbh.
