Dark Innocence (1x1 Guardia and PRSCB)

"If you'll have it. I might have to sneak around your yard but I think I manage to see you now and again. I just can't be out in public. I mean, I can stay over on this side of town, the mayor a Vampire and all the shops run by Darkies. They'd never call the Human cops on us. I'm sorta like the town Sheriff; I take care of the misfits. But I will survive. Even if you don't want to see me again, I promise you'll have the protection of an Alpha Wolf."

Calissa

"Yeah- and how will that help me in light territory?" I asked, chuckling. "Or the school bullies? Having a known killer waltz in a best them up might be a little extreme." I still shined softly in the dark, a pale blue light. "But Derik's always been nice to me. I've been trying to gather the nerve to talk to him, but I'm to shy."

I stiffen, hating the sound of another boy's name on her lips. "Yeah. J-Just talk to him," I roll over, her wing falling from my side. I didn't mean to be, but I was being childish. But...I liked her. I wanted her to like me, not think of any other boy. "I mean, he sounds like a lucky guy," I grumble, shoulders rolling.

Calissa

"But I met this other boy...." My voice became dreamy, and my aura blushed a light pink. "He's so strong, and smart, and sweet! And the most caring person ever. And not only that, he is rich and I think he likes me. He was my first kiss- I only see him sometimes. You have to meet him, he's amazing!"

I growl a bit louder, scrunching up my shoulders. "Yeah. He sounds just perfect," I snarl into the pillow. No way was she doing this. I never talked about Mysti to her! I wouldn't do it, because I knew it might hurt her feelings. "You know, he's a lucky guy," I whisper, feeling shattered and hurt.

Calissa

"Aww- are you jealous?" I said softly, my voice silky and coy. Remembering one of the characters from a teenage novel (my guilty pleasure), I hooked one of my slender legs around one of his, fiddling with his hair. "You don't like me, do you? Your certainly not possessive, are you?" I gently brushed my lips against his neck, my wings wrapping back around him. In the darkness, I glowed a velvet purple, but limited the light to just around my body. *I hope I don't look like an idiot. Mysti needs to give me more than 5 minutes of seduction training!*

(Yo, did you give me a pic for Erik or did I?)

I blushed, thankful for the low light. Her skin was pale against mine. "N-No. I can't be possessive over you. Like you said; we've only known each other for five hours," I tried to sound gruff but my voice came out a little...breathless. I leaned into her touch ever so slightly then pulled away, having to stay away. But I couldn't unhook her leg; no, it was perfectly fine there. "I can't be jealous of a stranger. I can't be angry at a boy I've never met. So you have a boyfriend?" I sighed, eyes tired.

Calissa

"Mayybe," I said playfully. "I'm waiting for that boy to ask me to be his. But I'm really first come, first serve. If I like you. Which is hard to say, I haven't liked many people." I paused, laughing softly. "But you know- I'm still open for takers."

"Cal, I-I...I'm not the best guy for you. Wolves are focused around blood rituals and Pack issues. If I took you it would be because I considered you my mate. I would have to introduce you to the Pack and put you at their mercy," I sat up and looked to her with sad eyes. I fondled with her hair, desperate not to see the sad in her eyes.

Calissa

I sighed in disappointment inwardly, but said, "Well, that's okay. There are other men to be found," partially to myself. "Maybe a light person. I'll see. And please no pack beating again." An idea was taking root in my mind, but I shut it off for later. "Halloween is coming soon," I mentioned, shutting off my internal aura and resting my head on his strong chest, only my wings still softly lit (I can't turn them off). "I'm usually a dryad. Do Dark's celebrate that?"

"Halloween? Yeah. We, uh, we go out into the Light's neighborhoods and scare the kids. I don't but I have to be there so none of the boys get out of hand. Lucky, the few girls I have in the Pack are the ones to also keep them in check," I sigh. I wanted her to be mine. God, I wanted to say it to her. Tell her to expose her neck so I could just...try. Just to see. But, no. It would hurt her. I couldn't hurt her.

Calissa

A memory clicked in my mind. "Oh! Your that boy, aren't you? When I was a kid, I was dressed up as a fae princess with my gown and all that, and you passed by and asked if I was dark. I said no, and you looked upset, then threatened to punch me in the face and throw my wings in the garbage can. Needless to say, I ran crying all the way home before my friends comforted me with treats. Oh, those were the days." I nestled my head in the nook between his jawline and his shoulder, resting against his neck as I un hooked my leg and curled up my knees, snuggling like a kitten.

I blinked and sighed, ashamed. "I'm sorry, Cal..." I whisper, wishing I wasn't such a jerk. I was torn between staying by my word and taking her in. Only should he be this close with a mate, not a Light. Yet, he still wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close to his chest, kissing her forehead. "I promise I won't ever punch you in the face and throw your wings in the garbage can," I sigh.

Calissa

"Please don't," I reply, closing my eyes. "I'll make you some breakfast tommorow, how about that?" I drifted off into sleep smiling.

(Can we fast forward to the next morning?)

"Of course," I yawn and fall asleep. Erik was curled around Calissa, his arms baring her against his chest like a cage, protection from any unknown threat. His lips were pressed against the pulse in her throat, his breathing soft and in sync with hers. His foot twitched every now and again, dreaming of running. But he was Human and his Wolf was after him. He was trying to take Erik down, laughing but he always stayed just out of reach. His lungs burned, legs weak...

My reply's a bit lengthy, so one sec

In the dark morning absence of light, I woke, blinking softly, then leaned over to flick on a lamp. I sat up, entangling myself from Erik, and stretched, yawning. I shook my head and got up, careful not to disturb Erik as I headed to the bathroom. I rinsed my mouth and, unable to find a toothbrush, improvised and used a Q-tip (no kidding, I've done it before). I gargled his mouthwash, rinsed, splashed my face with water, and skipped a shower. I took off my shirt and examined it. I peeked round the door, seeing the soft lamplight washed over a still sleeping Erik as I stepped out of the bathroom naked besides my underwear. My pale skin gave off a dewy appearance as my aura slowly came back into existence, shining a pale white. I knelt my his drawer and picked another one of his too-small shirts, then ran to the guest bathroom to grab my bra, and a knife. Goosebumps raised around my skin in the cold, and I hurried back to the warmth generated my Erik in his room. I put on my bra, biting my lip as I struggled to do the back strap, then got to work ripping up the shirts with the knife- the one I had picked was xxsmall, so I hoped Erik didn't need it. After I threw together a makeshift out fit, I went outside to the kitchen and got to work preparing breakfast- for me, at least. I had no clue what he liked. I went to his room again, opening the curtains to let air in. It was still dark outside, but according got the clock, it was 7am. I gently shook Erik awake. "What do you like for breakfast?" I asked.

"Pancakes...wait, you look...different. So pretty. What did you do? Is that my shirt? Oh, I've never looked that good in my shirt," I laughed, still groggy from the sleep. Slightly drunk sounding, my speech blurred and vision hazy. But I could see her clear as day. So beautiful. I could feel my Wolf stir and the desire to taste her blood instead of pancakes slowly slipped into my mind. No...I can't..."What...time?" I frown, grabbing the clock. "Oh, I'm late...suppost to lead...patrol at 5...too bad," I yawn and pull Calissa with me as I roll on my side. "Shh, just for a moment," I whisper, snuggling my nose against her beating throat. It smelt so good.

Calissa

"Erik!" I exclaim, laughing. I quiet down, puzzled at what he was doing, before pulling away a bit. "You're squashing my wing- please get off it. Pancakes, you said?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. I pout, sticking out my full bottom lip. "Please let me out?" I asked again with puppy eyes.

I sigh and released her from my arms like she asked. No...keep her...I growled and hopped up, going to the bathroom. "I gotta take a shower. Sorry," I touched her wing softly before closing the door behind me. I hop in the cold shower, washing away the Wolf thoughts.

A couple minutes alter, I shout, "Erik! If you've washed away your morning wood, come in for pancakes!" They were steaming fresh, complete with maple syrup, and set on the table. As I waited, I tested a few flaps of my wings. My lips broke into a grin as I realized- I could fly! I whooped quietly and scrambled to the couch, standing precariously in the armrest and taking a little leap. My wends gave a couple beats, and I was airborne- finally! It was so trapping, stuck on the ground. I swooped up and started inspecting the ceiling and beams of the house, finally having the freedom to really look around.

"You better-" I stopped mid sentence through my rant, watching her fly up. She was so graceful. But still, where did she get that potty mouth? She never had a boyfriend...well she must have friends..."Careful, I think I saw a spider up there," I teased with a soft grin, crossing my arms. I was wearing a red hoodie with a tight black tee under. I was barefoot and wearing dark jeans that would've fit well with my Converse if I hadn't of shredded them running after Calissa. Ah well; she's worth it.

Calissa

"Wait- a spider?" I pinwheeled my wings backwards, cringing at the prospect. "Ew- no, thank you." I fluttered down, landing lightly on my feet. "I better what? Because if this is about my 'morning wood' comment, it's totally true. I could see it. " I blushed, looking down and shifting my feet. "No that I was looking, because I wasn't! It was just… big." My aura flushed scarlet. "Let's eat," I said loudly, sitting at the chair with the smaller portions.

(WOAH Priss, chill gal, chill)

I stared at her, eyes bugging. "Cal-Calissa! Y-You!" I cut off, looking at my pants. "W-Well, I've had a few girls say that," I slipped from a stutter into a confident side. My Wolf was beginning to emerge but only now and again. "Yeah, looks good," I sigh, following into the kitchen. I dropped another pancake on her plate and eat happily.

(LOL I couldn't help it! Personal experience of things I said but shouldn't have…:cross::wink:)

Calissa

"Did girls really say that?" I asked, being it the first thing that came to mind. then clapped my hand over my mouth, swallowing had before saying in a muffled voice, "I didn't need to know- I meant! Well- I…" I beat myself internally, resting my head in my hand as my aura- and cheeks- deepened to straight up Elmo red. I bit my lip hard as I looked up at him. "Tell me I'm not the first girl to be this elegant."

"Hush. I think it's adorable. And no, I told you I've never been with anyone," I looked away but held her hand in mine. I could feel the muscles along it tightening, my Wolf getting a grip of my body once more and I pulled away, a little too sharply. "H-Hold on," I faked a smile and moved back to the bathroom.
