Dakup and Gilmore [ closed] The lost Tsar

"Alright. Now were gonna go to my apartment. Be warned, it isn't the nicest, but it good." He said before leading her down a side road. After a few moments of walking they made it to an old brick building. He pulled out the key from his coat pocket and unlocked the floor. He made his way up and opened the door to his apartment. It was clean, and a bit bigger then the guard house. It had a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room. All of them were clean. He walked in and took his coat off and put it on the rack. "You can take my bed, I will sleep on the couch." Loki went over to his dog bed and flopped on it.

Kenzi followed him in silence she was watching where they were walking. Once they got to his apartment she looked around it was best place she had seen in her entire life.Kenzi kept her coat and scarf on and bit her lip."oh um thanks."Kenzi says. "What exactly is going on? Why didn't you turn me and why did you lie to that other guard about who I was? " Kenzi finally asks taking off her coat and putting it on her arm.

He took the coat from her and hung it on the coat rack. "I didn't say anything because I don't know why but I have a feeling about you... There is something more to you... Plus it wouldn't be right for me to turn you in." He said as he walked into the kitchen. "Would you like anything?" He said as he a cup and filled it with water and drank.

Kenzi looked at him and followed him."Just some water please. "She says. She was still holding on to her bag." What do you mean a feeling? Something more to me?"She asks. " and not right to turn me in? Alright cards on the table. You need to explain what is going on."Kenzi says.Kenzi hated being in the dark about things.

He got her a cup and filled it up. After she asked, he sighed. "Do you want the truth.... The truth is I think you might be the lost Tsar's child... When you were looking at the painting I saw something in your eyes... When I asked you to stop at the painting it was to compare the eyes... You wanted the truth there you go. It was an idea, but I was thinking that if you were then people needs to know."

"Wow wait what?" Kenzi said choking on water. "Me the Lost Tsar that everyone keeps talking about you think I am her. Are you crazy I mean sure yeah I don't know my past or have any family, but still. I mean I have heard rumors and all, but me. You have the wrong girl. I am just orphan Kenzi with no past and no future. I know some kids from the orphanage when they left joined the guards at the palace of safety and some joined the Rafe who ever that is."Kenzi says. Kenzi how ever stopped to think about it. Could she be? Her eye's were similar and she had been remembering odd things about people she didn't know. She was taken back to the real world when a knock and voice came at the door."Russian police open up. Were here for the girl." It says. Kenzi looked at Dimitri. Had he called the police on her or was this not them. He did say he didn't want to turn her in.

"Your gonna have to trust me." He said in a hushed voice. He poured his glass of water down the drain. He lead her to his room. "Stay under the bed... unless you hear me say it's cold as a polar bears toe. come out." After she was under the bed, he threw the blanket over the bed, it drapped down and covered all the sides. He walked to the door, and opened it. "Hello boys." He said. "there is no girl here, only me, my dog and my cat." He was still wearing his uniform.

Kenzi hid under the bed. She shook. "What was going on? "She thought to herself. This was crazy. Was she mental and out of her mind.


They look at him and show there badges.They looked real, but were fake. Rafe had spies every where and that guard was a spie. He had made the connection the minute he saw Kenzi and called Rafe. "I see, see have you seen this girl. She is a dangerous fugitive and has escaped from prison. "They lie showing a photo of Kenzi."are you sure no one else is here with you, for that coat seems to small for you." He points to Kenzi's coat.

He sighed. "Alright you got me." He leaned in. "Check the bathroom." He whispered before moving out of there way. As soon as their back was turned he grabbed a a knife from the kitchen. He slide the knife up his sleeve, so that way it would be hidden and followed them towards the bathroom. "I told her to hide in the closet in here." He opened the door and pointed to a small closet. "That's the one." As soon as the went past him, he pulled out the knife.

Kenzi heard it all from under the bed. She held her hand over her mouth as she listened closely. Kenzi stopped when he said the bathroom closet. Who was stupid enough to believe that.


They nod and go for the closet. A few of them went to look in the bedroom. "Just to be sure sir." They say. There feet stopped by the bed. Kenzi backed up as far as she could. She held her mouth.


The ones in the bathroom look about."nothing here, she must be...." they stop hearing Kenzi scream.


The one in the bedroom had found her under the bed and pulled her out by the hair."found the welp. " he says.Kenzi struggle in his grasp.She tried to hit the man holding her to let her go."get off you giant ape."She says

Dimitri was waiting by the door to the bathroom. When the the guy in there walked out he drove the blade into the guys throat as quick as he could. He when the was done with the first guy he rushed over to the other guy. He grabbed him by the head. put the blade to his throat. "Let her go, and tell me who sent you?"

Kenzi kicked and fought. Kenzi was not helpless but this guy was big and a brute."drop the knife, were not here for you. Were here for the girl."he said. His hand clamping around Kenzi's throat. She gasped for air and tried to pull his hands off.Kenzi was struggling to breathe and get free."you know who sent us. For the same reason you didn't turn her over to the cops. "He says his grip getting tighter.

"Your a fool." He gave the man a nice big smile from one ear to the other along his neck. After he grabbed his coat and her coat. "Come on, we need to get you the hell out of here." He said throwing her coat on the bed. "We don't have much time so grab what ever you need and lets get out of here." He grabbed his bag and filled it with some food, and a couple changes of clothes. "Come on Loki."

Kenzi coughed and rubbed her throat. "Yeah I am fine thanks."Kenzi says as she gets herself off the floor.Kenzi grabbed her bag and villain her cat. She put her coat and scarf."okay why in the world was I almost choked to death?"She asks" and where are we going? "Kenzi says looking at him.

He grabbed his coat and put it on. He walked out the door. "We are leaving because those people were members of a group that call themselves the rafe.... Basically they don't want the tsar to come back, and they found you... As for where were going... I have no clue... Were gonna have to find a few people that actually believe that you are the Heir." Loki rushed out after him. "They know what you look like, and are probably going to be looking for you so we might have to disguise you."

Kenzi followed him." So they came cause all they wanted was me.Great so I put your life in danger. I am an Idiot. "Kenzi says running after him."wait find people that believe I am the heir? Great more people who can thank me for there soon to be deaths."Kenzi says.


A figure steps out of nowhere Kenzi lets out a yelp."Dimitri there you are come on."the figure says.his name was Jasper a guard of the palace of safety. Kenzi glares at him. Who was he and where the hell was he five minutes ago.

"You didn't put my life in danger. I would rather see someone return then live under the rule of the Rafe." Dimitri didn't know if he could trust him. He worked with him so he somewhat had to trust him, but when it comes to the rafe, you never know who to trust. "Jasper." He said. "How do I know I can trust you?"

Jasper showed Dimitri his mark."Trust me I am with the court of light. Here to protect and serve the last Tsar when he or she is found.Now who's the girl and why you bringing strays around. "Jasper asks. Kenzi looked confused. Were they serious in the middle of the corridor. They were talking when Jasper called her a stray her gaze turned cold.'rude' she thought to herself.

He sighed."Alright come Get inside." He told Kenzie. "When have you been in the court of the light.... Kenzie this is Jasper. We work together."He said before almost shoving her into the room. "Can you get us the hell out of here."

Jasper shrugs," been a while since I last saw you. A lot has changed then again not the so much." Jasper says looking at Kenzi. "I can get you out. But I dont bring strays." He says glancing at Kenzi. He grabs his bag and starts packing it." Give me a minute and will leave Dimitri. Kenzi nice meeting you see you when the Tsar returns if you live that long."He says.


Kenzi lifted an eyebrow at him like he was a crazy person.

Dimitri put his hand on Jasper's shoulder. "Trust me, your gonna want her to come, she is what you and your court of light brethren have been looking for... Plus I don't go with out her." He said. Loki rushed into the room.

Kenzi gave them both a look of crazy people. Jasper pulled him aside and looked at Dimitri. "You mean she is the Tsar, why didn't you say something and what is she like?"He asked looking at Kenzi now more as a prize.


Kenzi was listening but was looking around the small room."I am like Alice who fell down the rabbit hole.except instead of the red queen I have the rafe trying to kill me."She says

"I am sorry my friend, but we don't have any time... we need to get out of here an hour ago." He said as there were boots marching down the hallway. "We need to get out... I will answer your questions when I know that we are safe."

Jasper nods. He grabs his bag and opens the back wall."Come on lets go. After you your highness. " he bows to Kenzi. She walked past giving Dimitri a look of what the hell.Kenzi walked down the stairs. "Okay this seriously crazy."Kenzi says. She lets Jasper pass. He had lit up his room in flames he looked out the door at the bottom of the back stairs.

"I know." He was talking about the look Kenzie gave him. "Just do it." He said as he peaked out. "Looks clear." He said as he rushed out to the other side of the back alley. The rafe hadn't come yet so they had to make it quick. "Come on, lets go, it's all clear." Loki rushed out, towards Dimitri.
