They also have enhanced eyesight (night vision kind of stuff), enhanced scent, and hearing. Let me know if this is okay! I was just thinking since they didnt have as many special abilities that ill let them lean a bit more towards their animal side

Considering that wielding one of her swords gives Aiko truesight, I'd assume enhanced senses wouldn't be an issue.

Okok, so I was thinking that maybe Aleksei maybe heard of/met Twice before the Great Calamity? Just because Twice did dirty work for some of the wealthy aristocratics and maybe assinated one?

Ohh yeah sure, maybe Aleksei had a vision of an assassination, but turned a blind eye to it because he didn't like the aristocrat. Somehow Twice found out about Aleksei having the vision and there was this moment of discreet allegiance between them as Aleksei pretended the assassination was unavoidable, and didn't give away Twice's identity. He didn't even ask Twice for anything in return in exchange for keeping it a secret, the assassination of the aristocrat was enough.

Sounds like fun! Twice probably thinks that they don't owe Aleksei anything in return, but they probably enjoy having the knowledge that he could have stopped them if Aleksei really wanted. They probably don't really care enough right now to even bother with it, but if Aleksei tries to play high and mighty you can bet that Twice would bring it up and drag Aleksei down to their level.
