Futuristic Cyberpunk Criminals

(*Slap* NO ! *Tackles Melanie* My wife)

Rain looked around the dusty interior before heading to the first of the large shelves, pulling off a few suspiciously sized and shaped boxes before opening them and looking inside. He found nothing on the first shelf and then moved onto the second, finding a small radio that was operational and then a small metal box that looked hi-tech... For a box.

Neon started collecting some items that seemed of value. While wondering the many dark corners of the room, she found a safe. Neon bent down to see the lock on it. Like just about any other safe, it required a combination lock. "Hey Erin, come here." She called, standing back up.

(...0-0....don't kidnap her!)

Rain looked up at his name and walked over to the safe and Neon "Don't call me Erin" He replied before grinning at the sight of the safe "I can drill a hole in it and see if there's anything inside it... If there is I can blow it up with a thermite charge" He said, looking around for a drill he could use.

(I'll do what I want with her O^O *Bends her over and unzips my fly* O^O)

Neon rolled her eyes and sighed. "We don't want to destroy what might be in the safe!" She growled at Rain. She didn't look happy.

Rain looked back at Neon and gave her a dirty look "I'm going to blow the hinges off, leaving the door wide open... Not blow the whole safe up" He retorted, walking over to a box and opening it. He dug around for a bit until he found a drill set and then turned back to the safe, walking over to it before setting a circular attachment onto the end of the drill. He pressed the drill blade against the safe before pulling the handle and listening to the shrieking of steel on steel as the safe was slowly cut open.

After the safe was opened, Neon bent down to see what was in the safe. Neon smirked when she found loads of ammunition along with large stacks of money. "Jackpot." She mumbled stuffing ammo into her satchel.

Rain grinned and chuckled before cracking his knuckles and taking a few wads of cash, stuffing them into his pocket and then taking another few wads and doing the same "We'll need a safe for all this" He chuckled again before repeating the money collecting action until his pockets were full.

(I have an idea for a character... Can I plz make him ? It'll add to the story of them being chased)

(...........fine.....since I'm nice...and you're cool)

Neon nodded. "Yeah, we will." She said, closing her satchel and standing up. She looked around the other parts of the warehouse, finding nothing really of much value.

Rain grinned as he walked off to another place to look for more items of values. He returned a few minutes later with a small smile on his face and a large box under his arm "I found my childhood dream" He said cheerily before opening the box and taking what looked like a hockey helmet but it was painted black "Its old runner gear" He said softly before slipping the helmet back into the box.

Neon lauged "Old runner gear?" She asked under her breath before catching up to Rain. "So...how's life?" Neon asked awkwardly, at a loss for words at the moment

Rain nodded with a beaming grin on his face "An elite police regime that specialized in taking down high profile criminals... This is their old uniform... They've got a new uniform now which is way more high tech but this is the stuff that I wanted to be able to wear one day as a child" He screwed his face up as he realized he was sharing a childhood dream to the girl that a day ago yelled at him non-stop.

(Wilhelm is a runner of the new regime... Here is the uniform:

Neon refrained from chuckling. "Oh, the irony...." She said with a grin. This childhood dream of Rain's just made Neon want to laugh but...she decided against it. She put her hands in her pockets. "Okay, well... I guess I'm not the only one with a dumb childhood dream I gave up on." Neon sighed.

Rain continued on with the box tucked under his arm, not wanting to ask about Neon's childhood dream, before stopping once they reached their warehouse, placing the box just inside the back door "We'll leave anything we find here... Except the money and ammo" He said simply before turning and walking to the next warehouse where he waited for Neon.

Back at the city Wilhelm stood atop one of the many rooftops that dotted the financial district and listened to police transmissions that were blaring in his ear piece. Nothing caught his attention until the transmissions were cut off and he was addressed by his code name "Hunter, job incoming stand by.... Two masked assailant were recently spotted on CCTV recording in the down town bank, the first of the assailants; a female around her mid twenties judging by her attire, skin colour and other features. The second target; unkown possibly male with an unidentified age due to his military grade attire... Their ship was last spotted fleeing the city and then landing in an industrial area a mile outside the city limits, your ship leaves tomorrow at dock port 25 it's a commercial flight so pack your suit in a bag and remember to show your badge... Your objective: Eliminate" Came Mercury's automated voice masker. Wilhelm grinned devilishly before turning and setting off into a brisk run, jumping across rooftops and obstacles that dotted the rooftops before he stopped and slipped over the side of the building, sliding down a water pipe that ended at the ground level. He looked around before setting off towards the police station.

Neon met Rain by the warehouse and went inside. Her hopes weren't very high for this place, seeing that it was almost empty. Neon still searched for anything useful.

(Unfortunately, I won't be on as normal for a while.....blame my roommates)

(I blame you xD )

Rain walked in with Neon and headed straight to the higher levels of the warehouse where he thoroughly opened each door, entered and then left if he found nothing of interest. He exited the 14th room with a grin "Ne-" He paused before rephrasing what he said "Raven, look at this" He called down to her, a smirk on his face due to being able to get her back for calling him by his real name.\

Wilhelm arrived at the police station and entered quietly, flashing his badge to the officer at the front desk as the metal detector went off and detected his stun baton and pistol. He continued through the police station while nodding at colleagues and accomplices before finally reaching the officer he was looking for. He entered quietly as he tapped a button on the side of his helmet and his visor slid up, allowing him clear view of Mercury who sat quietly at her desk while tapping away at the keyboard in front of her "Mercury, tell me... What kind of equipment are these guys packing ?" He asked softly as Mercury jumped and looked over her should "Hunter, stop doing that I told you to knock" She snarled in a way before turning back to the screen as a black and white CCTV screen popped up. The screen showed Rain releasing half a magazine into an officer "There were no bullets on site... Most likely non-ballistic weapons" She said like a professional, turning back to look at Wilhelm who had already walked out and headed to his apartment due to not wanting to listen to Mercury blabber on about laser weapons.

(But...but my roommates are dicks... They are to blame!)

"What?!" She asked rolling her eyes. Did Rain honestly think he made her upset by calling her by her real name? What a dumbass! She snapped out of her thoughts and waited for Rain to respond.

Rain smirked as she yelled "I said come and look at this" He yelled back "I think you might like it" He added, turning and walking to the next door while he waited for Neon to arrive, opening it before closing it. He smirked slightly as he watched Neon make slow progress along the half empty warehouse to his higher up position.

Wilhelm arrived at his apartment after a fast and fun trip atop the rooftops where he would jump and bounce across roof to roof before finally stopping as he landed on his balcony roof, perfectly picked so that if he jumped he'd make it to his balcony which allowed him access to his room without being noticed. He slid the glass door open and entered his apartment, sliding his helmet from his head and then wiping his brown straggly hair from his eyes. He walked over to the coffee table and laid his helmet down on the table before slipping his gloves off and bundling them up. Once he'd taken his gloves off he picked his helmet up again and headed into his room where he placed the helmet on the bed side table and got changed into his regular leather jacket, blue t-shirt, denim jeans and then his sneakers with a small streak of blue on each end. He quickly folded his uniform and then stashed it in a duffel bag with the helmet placed softly on top of the small bundle of clothing, he then packed a few extra things into a second duffel bag and then laid down for a much needed rest.

(*Still silently blaming you*)

Neon made her way to the door Rain went behind. She opened the door, kind of slowly, and raised an eyebrow while opening the door. "So what's this thing you want me to see?" She asked curiously, yet angrily.

(I see how it is.... ;- ;)

Rain shook his head "Wrong door, twit" He said before opening the other door. As the door swung open a low whir could be heard as the room's windows open to reveal an armoury filled to the brim with gleaming weapons "Tah dah" He said sarcastically before walking in and picking up the nearest gun, he knew these were real due to their weight which made him smile because of the luck they'd had.

Neon growled when she was called a twit...at this point she was just about ready to break Rain's arm. She tried to brush it off until her anger ran away from the sight of the armory. She grinned devilishly. "Nice..." She said softly, picking up a small gun at the end of the wall.

Rain nodded, a small smile across his face "We could start recruiting" He suggested softly "We got the equipment for it" He added, picking up a rail gun that lay flat against the wall. He smiled insanely as he thought of what damage this weapon could do to normal people or vehicles before returning to his normal state "You stay here and keep an eye out... I'll go get some bags we can use to carry all this" He said before heading out the door and back to their warehouse.

Neon nodded and left the armory. She ran downstairs and grabbed her pistol out of her jacket. Neon just started to wait around for either Rain to come back or some idiot to show up just to walk right to their death...whichever came first.

Rain returned a few minutes later with 6 empty duffel bags all slung over his shoulder or on his hand "C'mon.. Help me load this stuff up" He said before heading back up to the armoury and laying the bags down before packing the weapons into the duffel bags. He looked up when Neon arrived and then pointed to the weapon rack on the other side "Could you fill those 3 bags up with those guns ?" He asked before stuffing a large non-ballistic sniper rifle into a bag.

Neon nodded, grabbing all three of the duffle bags and set two on the ground. She began filling one of the duffle bags with the guns on the wall. Neon stayed completely silent while filling the bags.
