Rain smirked before taking off as well, even though he was at a disadvantage due to his wound he was still a few meters behind Neon. Dodging around civilians and sometimes jumping over dustbins and other things that riddled the streets he gained on Neon "I'm coming !" He yelled to her before dodging underneath 2 women who were engaging in conversation at the wrong time.

Neon chuckled. She ran a bit faster. If Rain honestly believed he was going to win this time, he was out of his goddamn mind. She continued to dodge people on the street and jumping over obstacles.

Rain kept up the pace until they had exitted the financial district and entered the slums that the HQ was located in. Rain forced himself to pick up his pace until he was just an arms length away of Neon.

Neon chuckled. There was no way Rain was gonna win twice in a row, no matter how close to her he was. She only continued to run, swiftly dodging everything in her way. It didn't take long for her to finally reach the front door of HQ. She raised her fists. "Ha! I knew I'd win." She put her arms down and leaned on the wall.

Rain came to a stop right behind her "No fair" He said in a sarcastic tone before catching this breathe "Anyway... Good job" He said while smiling.

"Thanks, you too." She said catching her breath. She grinned. "Besides, you probably would have won if I was fair...but I don't play fair. I play to win!" She laughed.

Rain smiled and nodded "Want your prize ?" He asked while looking around at the abandoned streets, he was now shifting slighty.

Rain smirked before pausing for a moment, he seemed to be thinking about something. After a moment he looked up at Neon and realized she wasn't in a good mood anymore "Well I wasn't kidding" He said softly.

Neon chuckled. "Okay, what is it?" She said jokingly, rolling her eyes and chuckling. Honestly, it was getting kinda funny. She seriously thought he was keeping the joke alive.

Rain smiled before looking at her with a twinkle in his eyes "This is the prize" He said before pulling her into a kiss.

Neon's eyes grew wide as a blush immediately rose to her face. She was in shock still trying to understand exactly what just happened...she knew what was going on but it was just a complicated feeling she had. Her heart was racing and yet it felt like the entire world froze for a brief moment in time.
