All of a sudden Rain put his arm infront of Neon to stop her as his eyes fixed on a thin layer of mist that hung low over the tunnel ahead of them "Motion sensors" He said softly before looking around for a rock or anything that would set it off and disarm the trap in the process, finding a small rock he picked it up and tossed it into the mist. As soon as the rock flew into the mist and made a neat hole in the layer both walls opened and both came crashing together at incredible speeds, Rain could only imagine someone who could have gotten caught in that trap and met a horrible end.

"Heh..thanks." She said awkwardly. "We're gonna need to to find a way to get past that." Neon could only imagine how far down that hole was. It was a clear path that lead to death.

Rain looked around again before sighing "We're gonna have to jump" He said softly while turning back and walking down the hall to get a run up.

Neon walked back with him. "I'll go first." She added before darting foward. Right when it looked like she was going to run right into the hole, she jumped and made a successful landing on the side.


(Personally, if I were to kill someone I wouldn't do it immediately. I'd keep them hostage and only feed them water while watching them slowly die... I think it's better to to let them suffer for a bit depending on who I'm killing....I promise I've never actually killed anyone!)

Rain nodded before following up and taking a jump, he made a successful jump and landed with a loud thud "Ah SH*T" He said as he placed his hand on the place where the wound was.

Neon turned to face Rain. "You okay?!" She asked loudly raising an eyebrow. She saw that his hand was where his wound was. "Shit..." She wispered. "That doesn't make anything easier."

Rain nodded "Yeah I'm fine" He said before straightening up and taking a deep breathe "Lets.... Lets go" He said as he continued on.

"Okay." Neon said. Continuing to slowly walk. "Just try not to hurt yourself." She said kind of quietly. While she was concerned for him, she had a hard time showing it while she was stressed.

Rain nodded as he scanned the walls and floor for any traps or triggers "Thanks for caring" He said quietly and smiled while looking over his shoulder at her.

"Don't mention it." Neon smiled. If that last trap was the forst of many, then they had to get worse, right? She could only imagine what the other traps might be.

Rain nodded before once again stopping in front of a trip wire "Just leave this one" He said as he stepped over the wire without a single care.

Neon chuckled. Just a wire after that last trap? That's...odd. She stepped over the wire with pure ease. "I don't like this. Something's up. Honestly, after that last trap I don't think he'd use something as simple as a wire for the next one."

Rain froze completely "I didn't think it would be that easy" He said as he looked at the small lasers that had appeared in front of them, lighting the hall with a sinister red glow.

"Fuck!" She yelled. She started to question how the guy who owned the place got around here. He wasn't lying when he said it was riddled with booby traps.
