Rain nodded "Wanna race ?" he asked with a slight grin on his face.

"Depends, is there a prize?" She asked with a grin, crossing her arms, and raising an eyebrow.

Rain shrugged "Maybe" he retorted as a smirk spread across his face.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Neon asked in honest confusion.

Rain smirked even more "It depends on if you do good or not" he joked "Maybe.... The best prize if you do the best" he continued, enjoying her confusion.

"The joke isn't funny anymore...let's just race, okay?" She asked no longer smiling.

Rain shook his head "Whatever.... 3.... 2 GO!" he yelled before sprinting ahead of her.

Neon started dashing right after Rain. It only took a minute or two before she was right on his tail.

Rain stayyed infront but could hear Neon behind her and laughed before pushing himself to get further away, within a few seconds he was infront "YOU'LL NEVER BEAT ME !" he yelled over his back before jumping over a table.

"Oh, yeah?!" She asked in a menacing tone. Neon jumped onto the table then jumped off of it, landing almost a foot away from Rain. "I BEG TO DIFFER!" She laughed before continuing to sprint.

Rain kept sprinting until he saw the HQ up ahead and decided to take a shortcut by sliding over a street vender's bench, knocking his stock off the table in the process "NEVER !" He yelled back before turning a corner and stopping at the HQ.

Neon arrived at the HQ a few minutes later, seeing Rain already there. "Wh-? Oh, God damn it!" Neon grumbled rolling her eyes and crossing her arms.

Rain smiled while catching his breathe "good try... But you don't know this city like I do" he said before standing up and leaning on a wall.

Neon sighed. "Yeah, yeah..." She added leaning on the wall next to him. "Well, guess you won...I'll beat you next time!" Neon grinned and chuckled.

Rain smiled and nodded "Maybe next time you'll get the prize" He joked before walking to the door.

"I'm serious, the joke isn't funny anymore..." Neon walked into HQ and stretched out her arms. She then smelled an unpleasant stench...it smelled like...smoke! It was heavy, too.

Rain nodded "Okay, sorry" He said with a slight smile before he noticed the smell "....Oh shit" he whispered, he knew Neon's rule about smoking and didn't want to be the guy that ha smoked.

"Oh god damn it!" She growled throwing Leon and Phil out of the HQ. "NEVER COME BACK, ASSHOLES!" She yelled before spraying the entire HQ in air freshener. "I hate smoke so much..." Neon groaned in anger.

Rain stayed quiet and looked around while Neon yelled "Uh... I gotta install the new component... It'll help with the police station attack" He said before walking away, hoping that she'd let him go and not get angry at him.

"Alright." Neon replied. She had finally gotten rid of the awful smoke scent. She put the can down and popped her knuckles again.

Rain speeded up his pace and eventually began jogging to the hanger and closed the door behind him before exhaling and then walking over to his Exo-suit. After a moment of tinkering he had now installed the component "FUCK YES" He yelled while punching his fist into the air.

Neon laughed. "So I guess it works?" She yelled, hoping he actually heard her. "I mean you sound pretty happy so...I assume it works..."

Rain took his suit from the rack and tapped a few buttons on his wrist pad, much to his surprise the suit disappeared completely "Yeees" he said to himself before putting it on and activate the suit again. After a moment of testing he snuck out and stood behind Neon before reappearing "Hello" he said with a slight grin.

Neon jumped and punched Rain. "HOLY SHI-okay...actually that's a pretty cool upgrade. It'll really help."

Rain nodded "Get your gear.... Your gonna be sitting on the roof of the station.... I'll go in and burn the files and look for the other files" he said as though it was no big deal.
