Neon silenced her breath. In all honesty she was terrified, but would do anything in her power to avoid admitting it. All she could do is hide and hope for the best, scared that she might just lose her life. Her heart was racing in fear and her head started to ache.

As soon as the members saw their friend get crushed they opened fire on the floating one and by chance hit a weak spot that shut off her 'skiing' powers which sent her back to the ground level, when it realized this it turned and ran and rolled over the cover that Rain and Neon were behind, taking cover she noticed the 2 others that were occupying her cover "Don't worry loves... The cavalry is here" As soon as she spoke it was obvious that whoever occupied the suit was a female. After a few minutes of taking fire the one with Red glowing sword and shield charged forward after it saw a hole in the gunfire and smashed 2 of them into the wall.

Leon looked back at Salamander "Your ventilation shaft is oddly large easy to fit through I'd recommend a laser grid with a nerve gas connection." Leon said slowly raising his hands into the air "I gotta admit I'm impressed not alot of people can sneak up on me like that, shit maybe I am getting too old."

Neon's eyes grew wide. She was frozen. It wasn't exactly fear, she just didn't really know what to do. This was probably one of the last people she'd want to encounter at this moment.

Evan pulled out his phone and called the contact that Neon gave him. He decided how to repay them.

"Annoyed. Why are you here." Salamander threatens while he tightens his grip on the hilt of the sword.

Neon jumped hearing her phone going off. She hesitantly grabbed her phone. She noticed it was Evan calling. She slowly answered the call.


"Kid...this really isn't a good time!" Neon said quietly.

The female pet Neon on the back of the head before popping up and taking potshots at the remaining gang members, before dropping back down and speaking. "Don't worry... This'll be over in a bit" She said before her suit came back online, and she popped back up and slid across the wall with the same weightless effect as before. realizing that they were out numbered, the gang members began running, but were stopped by the 3rd and final suit wearer who threw a swing at the nearest member, and then shoved his chainsaw into the second before removing it and dropping him to the ground.

Neon put her phone down, but she didn't hang up. Neon tugged on Rain's sleeve.


"What are the odds we make it out alive?" She whispered.

Phil walks up behind salamander "Or you know you could lock the door next time."

Rain looked down at Neon "When I say go.... We run back into the alley" he whispered before realizing that the group of 3 had gathered around the bodies and were searching them for ID or anything that would Identify them.

Neon nodded. "Got it!" Neon whispered back. She watched as the three searched the bodies they had gathered. She still felt scared and uncomfortable about the entire situation.

Rain nodded and began pushing Neon back "NOW" he whispered harshly before taking off down the back alley while hoping that Neon would follow.

Neon ran close behind Rain. She was right on his tail and didn't dare to look back.

Only when the female heard footsteps did she remember the civilians from earlier "THE CIVIS !" She yelled before running to the cover to check if the civis were okay, seeing noone was there she looked around before relaxing "Must have run" She reassured herself before turning to the group.

Neon sighed when they finally got away from all the madnees. "I just want to go back to HQ..." She mumbled before looking up at Rain. "Thanks for uh...getting us out of there."

Rain nodded "Of course" He said before getting up and walking along at Neon's side "We still gonna try and dig up some shit about that other guy.... Cos I was just thniking we could also find the place where they manufacture those things and we burn that place to the ground" he suggested with a small smile on his face.

Neon nodded. "Sure, let's do it." She replied cracking her knuckles. "I wonder what Salamander's doing back at HQ...also, let's at least try to make this quick. It's already been a long day..."
