Fantasy Cursed Island

Corona spoke up as she walked over. "There's something cute about that little procession. I say we let Beri stay small for a little while."

"I do not believe it is up to us," Joanne shook her head, "It is up to Adran whether his companion remains small."

"Well, I gave my opinion. At least until we're moving on. Then it's probably best to have him proportioned properly for a fight."

Joanne shrugged and kept walking, "We shall see."

"Well," Jerry stood up, "I'm gonna see about getting Poli something to eat." She looked around, "When Erina's done with her work, anyway." She did track down the goodberry bush to offer Poli something in the meantime, though.

Poli accepted the berry offered.

Eventually, Erina finished her work and started making the rounds with a stack of clothes folded on her backside, looking for whoever she happened to cross paths with first.

As Erina made her rounds with her products, she got thanks and compliments before the receiver went to change.

"Thank you," Joanne nodded and went into the fighters' tent to change her clothes, soon followed by Emfa. Veo was still tense from the panick of a large part of the group managing to get hurt today, but politely thanked Erina and went into the tent she shared with Emil to change.

Jerry seemed like she might have kissed Erina if she wasn't in a relationship with Asta when her dress was delivered. Adran did kiss the arachne. "Thank you, sweetheart," the elf smiled.

To summarize, Joanne received a tunic and pants of simple design, which could be worn alone or under her armor. Emfa’s outfit was similar, but designed more towards Emfa, of course. Veo’s dress included an apron. Jerry’s dress was similar to Shuffle’s in the back to accommodate her wings and tail. Adran’s shirt and pants were a little more decorated than Joanne’s and Emfa’s. Emil’s shirt and pants were probably the most decorated and more loose and flowy. Fia’s dress was simple and sleeveless, with arm holes large enough to fit her wings. Corona, as she had requested, just received a scarf for the time being. Making anything larger from the beginning would delay the group from moving forward.

Erina smiled as Adran thanked her before kissing him back. “You’re quite welcome.”

Jerry pulled Asta away from the group to help him with his clothes, dropping the tent flap so they vanished from sight.

"I'm going to work on dinner," Adran smiled and went to deposit his new clothes in the tent and then to the dinner tables to summon dinner.

Speaking of Asta, he received a tight, sleeveless shirt together with a warrior’s kilt.

Erina nodded to Adran and went to clean up her workspace before heading to the dinner table.

Joining the dinner table was everyone but Jerry and Asta. "Poli, I need you to stay here, get something to eat so you can recover, okay?", Jerry asked as she blindfolded Asta.

“Right.” Poli pulled off and formed their mobile quadruped form before going to join the others.

Asta held still as he was blindfolded. “Is the blindfold necessary?”

Jerry smiled, "I'm trying to surprise you, so yes." She tied the knot and stepped back, taking Asta's hand, "Don't let go of my hand, and don't touch that blindfold until I say so, okay?"

Jerry giggled and started leading Asta out of and away from the camp. Their path took them down the slopes to under an overhang of one of the pools, until they came to a waterfall. "Okay, I'm going to push you against the wall," she explained, "Scoot to your left as close to it as you can. You might get wet, but keep going until I say 'when'."

Up at the camp, Adran was doing a headcount. "Joanne, Shuffle one and two, Emil, Poli, Erina, Niudisa, Emfa, Veo, Nalla, Raine, Lyak, Corona, Fia, Nyah, where's Beri?"

"Ah, right." Asta did as he was told, scooting along.

Both Shuffle's glanced back at their tails. "He was behind us earlier."

Jerry followed after Asta, calling "When" once they were past the waterfall. Behind the waterfall was a water cave under the cavern. "Okay, take off your blindfold," Jerry said with a grin, proud of what she'd put together down here. The cavern was lit up a rosy color with light crystals attached to stalagmites sticking out of the water, illuminating the spread on the island in the middle Jerry had decorated earlier in the day. They were faced with a table that had a rich meal on it, surrounded by runes from Jerry's stylus to keep it from spoiling, and two chairs. On the ground further behind the table was a thick pad of a bed assembled from whatever soft things Jerry could find packed together and wrapped in a blanket to make a large bed. The whole cavern was comfortably warm, with the island being surrounded by a large U-shaped pool, which Jerry had tested earlier to be elbow-deep in most places.

"Do you like it?", she asked.

----------------------
"Ah, crap." Adran sighed, he reached into his pocket and fished out a whistle, "If you've got sensitive hearing, cover your ears," Adran warned before putting the whistle to his mouth and blowing. Most of the party didn't hear anything, but those at the table with sensitive hearing, if they didn't cover their ears, could hear an almost painfully annoying ringing in their ears. A dog whistle. Cub Beri stumbled out from where he'd gone to sleep over the burial place of Urodor covering his ears with his paws and whining his discontent. Adran stopped whistling and called Beri over, "Don't scare me like that!"

Asta took a few moments to get the blindfold off. Knots were not his strong suit. Once it was off, he looked around at the cave. "Woah... You did put a lot of work into this. This is amazing."

----------

Emil and the Shuffle's covered their ears, keeping them covered until Adran put the whistle away.

Jerry smiled, "Thank you." She gestured to the table, "Are you hungry?"

------------

Adran picked Beri u and set him on the table with a bowl of food a cub could eat without issue. "He's getting a bath after dinner," Adran shook his head.

Asta nodded. "Quite." He walked over to the table, still looking around at the cave.

----------

Niudisa smiled. "Can't handle a cub anymore? Eh, probably for the best. He's more use when he's fully grown."

When Asta sat down, an invisible force picked up a wine bottle and poured a glass for him. "Unseen Servant," Jerry smiled as she sat down too, "I had Adran summon it. It's a little magic butler." She followed Asta's gaze at the cave, "There's nothing in the water, or on the roof," she shook her head, "It's just us." If there were bats this cave wouldn't be useable.

----------------
"I raised him once already, I'm not doing it again," Adran shook his head and sat back down, "And now Erina's adopted a hydra, so we've got that to work with. I don't want Beri being small enough that thing can hurt him."

"I know, I'm just still impressed." Asta looked to the table. "Well then, let's eat."

----------

Erina spoke up. "Which reminds me, I'll need each of you to meet the hydra so I can properly tell them to not hurt any of you."

Jerry nodded and snapped her fingers for the Unseen Servant to serve, which started loading plates.

----------------
"I don't like watching them eat," Lyak shrank into her seat a bit.

"It's a snake, they can't eat any other way,' Adran shrugged.

Asta waited for his food to be served before digging in like an animal.

----------

Corona looked over. "Don't watch if you don't like seeing it."

Erina spoke up again. "I should take them something while I'm thinking about it." She found a piece of meat about the same size as the mice Nyah had summoned before and stood up, taking it back to her tent.

Jerry flinched as Asta started shovelling food into his mouth, "Ah," she picked up a fork and knife, "Asta?"

---------
Lyak frowned and crossed her arms.

The hydra stretched and slithered about the rafters, poking its heads down as Erina came in, looking at her curiously.

Asta stopped to look at Jerry. "Hm?"

----------

Erina looked up towards the sleeping hammock where she'd left the hydra before spotting it. "Ah, there you are. I brought you something to eat, if you're hungry." She held the piece of meat up towards the snake heads.
