Working on posts and still waiting for a definitive response on posting rounds but, in the meantime, since this RP is very focused on character relationships and interactions, I made a little code to help us keep track of them all, that way we can look up our characters and see which plots are still missing and needing to be filled, and reach out accordingly ^^
For Mara and Thea, I'd definitely be interested to know how y'all's characters view and feel about them, whether we can establish any events in a shared past, &/or anything that might be likely to happen or develop between them over the course of the RP. Open to any ideas you might have- friends, comrades, lovers, exes, rivals, enemies- you name it!
Thea: I was thinking Rowan is at least friendly with Thea, if not friends. He's comfortable around her and they probably enjoy hanging out together or at least being in each other's presence as fellow witches. Cora knows Rowan is friends with Thea but they probably don't have enough in common to be friends themselves.

I will change that! Thanks for pointing it out. It would kind of support the theme of werewolves being body guards too, since I noticed Rennick is also bodyguard to Heavenly.

Haha cool. So how do you think your 3 peeps feel about my 2 gals? Also, how long do you think Darrius has been guarding Mara? I would think it's a fairly recent development- like either it just happened or perhaps it's been a few weeks? Maybe 'cause her previous guard was assassinated?

Hmmm, Mara is probably well known, so I think Freya would find her remarkable as well, but untrusting of her ruling intentions, given she supports Cordelia. She would know of Thea because of the witch community and her reputation and prob looks to learn from her at some point.
Darrius would be protective of Mara, but he's not going to resist teasing her when he can. Thea he would find attractive and she can take care of herself so he would likely team up with her and get into some trouble somewhere lol. RIP Mara's previous guard
But yeah I agree, maybe it just happened today and he's been watching over her from afar. But when she leaves the council building he'll be waiting to escort her back publicly. Upon which she can question why he wasn't inside the room with her. (He's got a good reason tho)
Virelle would absolutely try to wiggle her way into the lap of a clan leader, but she's a bit of a snake, so she doesn't have concrete feelings for anyone beyond who can be of use to her atm or be of entertainment. Mara has powerful status so she's going to be nice to her and probably encourage her to embrace and act on her darker urges. Thea is also a powerful witch in skill and reputation so she's definitely not someone she wants to piss off.

Just seeing this old post, sorry! First off, I love the code!
To expand upon Rennick and Thea's history, I was thinking while he was working for the Karnsteins in the past he got cut with a poisoned blade or something similar and she helped identify and/or neutralize the poison. And since the Kaltenbruns have need of poisons (and potions in general), maybe he set things up afterwards so that she became one of their suppliers?
And tangentially related to Rennick and Mara, maybe the Kaltenbruns were secretly responsible for the death of her previous bodyguard, since they have a few schemes of their own and aren't too fond of other mercs stepping on their toes and working for the Great Families. The plan would have been to have a Kaltenbrun swoop in and take the deceased bodyguard's job, but obviously Darrius takes that place first and their plan crumbles, which they wouldn't find out about until the meeting. It gives Rennick a good reason to approach her, to subtly shill his family's prowess without realizing Darrius has already claimed the spot.

Hey all, finally had time to go through everything and do an update!
For folks who still have 'WIP' or 'placeholder' in their CSes, do y'all got an ETA for when they'll be done?
Here is an update to the plots code- I tried to include everything that people discussed in OOC, but if anything needs to be added &/or modified, let me know and I will edit accordingly!
Perhaps, while we're waiting for CSes to get done and intro posts to go up, we could all go through and write up a quick breakdown of what our characters think/how our characters feel about the others? That way I can add that all in and we have a base to work off of ^^

That would add so much drama lol. I love that idea too tbh of the Kaltenbruns having killed the previous bodyguard. I am very interested in the dynamic that will occur between the three of them. Tension, star crossed love, secrets, betrayal, the potential is all there!
