Conundrum: The Question Without An Answer (Season One)

Jumping from shadow to shadow, Vienna focused on finding others. Especially other shadows. If they had anywhere near the sense of pride and duty she expected in them, they'd have been fighting this entire time as well, somewhere around the city. If they decided to hang back and be lazy, well... they'd better hope she doesn't find out.Vienna considered herself the leader of the Shadow graduates. While being the top in her class technically did not make her in charge of the others, throughout the year she had shown not only remarkable diligence and talent in hunting, but also that she would not take thier crap during exams and other times they had to work together. She was normally seemingly emotionless, but something about her comrades slacking off, making poor or overly reckless decisions, and the like angered her to no end. Besides that, she had proved herself a capable and strategically sound leader for the most part, so most of the other nine shadows trusted her judgment. There were a couple of guys in the group that didn't agree with her, but they ended up in the infirmary a good amount of the times they went off to fight Hirudos 'without a girl half our size ordering us around.' As far as Vienna was concerned, they were just idiots... anyone that would judge and downright despise someone for petty reasons like that were.

Finally, as if they had somehow heard Vienna's brooding, bitter thoughts about them, a group of 5 more shadows appeared. "Where the hell have you all been? And casey-" Before the lecture continued, the girl named casey interrupted. "I feel fine. I've been fighting despite the wound well enough. I'm not going to sit and slack off while you guys are out here fighting, especially with vince worse off than I am." Vienna wordlessly nodded in understanding of where Casey was coming from. She thought maybe it was wrong to try and keep her back... part of her knew Casey would keep fighting anyway. Vienna just doesn't like her comrades being injured... they normally end up slowing you down, and even though she'd rather not admit it, she honestly wouldn't forgive herself if one of them died. Shaking these thoughts from her head, reminding herself not to show any weakness or trepidation around her allies, she moved with the group towards the next concentration of soul essence she sensed, moving through the shadows.

As the numbers of Hirudos dwindled thanks to the combined efforts of all 70 hunter graduates, the last of them seemed to be hiding... perhaps even though they seemed to mostly be weaker ones, they had some sense that they were slowly but surely losing this battle. Unfortunately for them, retreating was not an option. Vienna wasn't going to let any of these menaces get away. Coming upon a group of several larger Hirudos, about twice the size of the average human, which there were 3 of, Vienna wordlessly pointed and signed for the others to take thier positions, then began bending the shadows around them to bombard the creatures with attacks, focusing her mind on the battle. Vienna found that fighting Hirudos was the only way she could truly clear her mind, focus on just the happenings around her instead of her thoughts, which often bothered or distressed her. Even though it was dangerous work, it was kind of like an escape to Vienna, in a way...

Danielle jumped a little when the ninja appeared quickly by her and Kehinde. She noticed Sora was looking at her and she smiled. "Well the more the merrier. It's nice to see that factions can work together." she said as she winked at Sora. "Well Sora is it? I'm Danielle and this is Kehinde and Rude Boy" she said as she gestured towards the scouts. "You don't have to worry about my teammates though, you guys did mighty fine with those Hirudo." Danielle looked back at her pirate crew and gave them an evil eye bad enough to scare the devil and then turned back to the ninja. "Sora, you look like your thinking, you got a plan?" Danielle stopped and pulled out one of her twin pistols and aimed it at the thieves that appeared. "Well, well, more to join the party! What are you guys doing here? Saw the fun and didn't want to miss out?" Danielle said sarcastically. She began to eye out the new arrivals and noticed they looked rather ominous. "You guys Thieves? Though I've not much beef with y'all, I don't like daggers floating behind my back."

Danielle paused as she noticed the Hirudo are still here. They're here but hiding, now why would they do that? She looked back to the ninja and scouts. "It's up to you guys whether we should rough me up, let em join or just leave." She held her stance with her guns still pointed at them. If theiy are Thieves that wouldn't be too bad if they join up. Them scouts and ninjas would rather trust me than them if anything, and that'd be perfect to cause some trouble shows up and I gotta get away. If they don't that's fine, I can handle these ninjas while hopefully my crew mates can at least distract the scouts. She thought cleverly.

The Harbingers

Sebastion hit the streets landing perfectly. He looked around and noticed some of the Hirudos were pulling out. "That's weird," Sebastion though as he looked around. He placed his han to his ear and spoke, "You guys notice something strange?" At a moment's notice, Margie radioed back, "Yeah definitely something going on. It little to no sign of Hirudo's on this way. I guess...."

*Press play* Her transmission was interrupted by a vulgar roar and a killer soul essence that resonated within the air. From the rooftop, Ralph shot an Orangish colored flare which signaled danger. Margie, Sebastion, and Gaia looked up in shock. "Ralph, What do you see?" Sebastion panicked. "One has arrived," He grimly answered leaving a white noise in the earpieces.

Silence fell upon the earpieces soon after the news broke. "What about the per....." Ralph sharply interrupted, "I'm working on it. You guys get over to the graduates and back them up." Sebastion, Margie, and Gaia nodded and took to the skies trying to reach a remote location.

As Sebastion was en route, a Hirudo lounged its claw at Sebastion just missing him by an inch. With inhuman speed, Sebastion vanished then reappeared behind the entity. "Almost got me you sly dog you." He chuckled. Following with speed and precision he drew his weapon and with a blink of an eye returned it back to it home. The Hirudo dissipated with no trouble. Another roar rang out louder than the last, "He's getting closer," Sebastion mumbled. The Harbingers knew all to well what the Roar was coming from. Although in different parts of the city, they still seemed to say the name in unison, "It's a Terastios."

Terastios Hirudos are large size hirudo that are usually the size of a skyscraper. Unlike the peons, Terastios are a peopn within the next class of the Hirudo. It is created when a few Hirudos merge together or a catastrophic event past or present causing mass fatalities, producing a plethora of lost Koumpi and or evoked Koumpi. Instead of forming in separate Hirudo, they form together creating a monstrosity of a Hirudo. They aren't very smart, but the are smarter than the lower level Hirudo. The signature abilities of a Terastios are sonic roars that shatter the sound barrier and Ovidas, also know as cannon balls. Their sheer size restricts a whole lot of movement, but they make up with it in defense.

Sebastion arrived at a safe point. He reached into his bag and pulled out his flare. He would perform a hunters link but he didn't have the time nor the manpower. He pointed it the flare in the air then pulled the trigger causing a bluish color light to shoot up in the air. This was the meetup signal for all hunters. Sebastion looked over to his left and saw the deteriorating situation. He placed his hand on his ear and spoke, "Alright the flare is up!" Margie stood on the northside watching out, "he's a big one guys. We might have our work cut out for us. Ralph ETA on the barrier..." Gaia chimed in, "I'll hold off anything headed your way until the graduates get to you. Sebastion." Ralph quickly answered, "I got the permission. When everyone gets to you Sebastion we'll prepare the barrier." Sebastion nodded and drew his weapon. He knew that since a flare went up the Hirudo's would come to him for the source. He knew had a little while before the others showed up. "I guess it's time to have a little fun then. This Terastios will prove to be a great test for the graduates." Margie radioed, "The Terastios is 927 yards from your location Sebastion." "Incoming...." A hirudo had dove in for Sebastion. Sebastion without even looking threw two short knives at it at. Causing it to dissipate. "Keep em coming!" he yelled in excitement. Another came from behind, Sebastion did a backflip over it stabbing it and dragging his blade down his back. He kicked two more knives at the other behind it causing them to dissipate. "915 yards! where are the graduates?" Margie radioed once again. Ralph leaped down from the building top and started for Sebastion. Sebastion returned to the center of the flare and kept his cool. He waited as the time slowly ticked out.

As Leandra passed a store, she suddenly felt time slow and she wasted no time in hitting the deck, just as a Hirudo came crashing out of a window and missed its target, Leandra. As the Hirudo crashed to the ground and slid a few feet to a halt, Leandra unholstered her pistol and walked right up to the Hirudo in time to shoot it in the face just as it recovered. With the Hirudo dissipating, Leandra holstered her pistol and then continued on her merry way with a new flask in her hand. What in the world was going on with all of these Hirudo? Looking down a street to her right, Leandra frowned when she saw a small group of Hirudo's sprinting down another street and seemingly ignoring everything around them. Were the Hirudos looking for something?

Shrugging, Leandra turned away in time to see a blue flare going up a couple blocks away. Instantly recognizing the message, Leandra put her flask away and narrowed her eyes before she sprinted at the nearest building and then leaped up before grabbing a windowsill. Soon, she was deftly climbing the building with ease and about a minute or two later, Leandra was on the rooftop. Facinng the blue flare, Leandra then began sprinting across rooftops and jumping between them while making her way towards the blue flare.

While en route, Leandra had to stop several times to use both her pistol and her cards to dispatch swarming Hirudos. Eventually, this became too much for Leandra and she stopped at a building before taking out her pistol and pressing the button to decompress it into a sniper rifle. Leandra then set up the bipod and leaned the sniper rifle against the edge of the building before taking aim at the location of the blue flare, which wasn't far from her current position. A few seconds passed and then concussive sounds could be heard from Leandra's direction, as she fired off round after round, dissipating Hirudos in the area and any that neared the flare and whoever the person was standing near the flare. Whoever was there was too far away for Leandra to recognize even if she knew who it was.

Lucas knelt over breathing heavily as the last of the Hirudo before him vaporized. His claws dragging the ground before him he stood slowly as he regained his composier and retracted his claws. He ran a hand through his hair and reached into his jacket fishing for his Absinthe flask. He took a few swigs of the drink and returned it to his jacket. He turned around to see Widow and Viper standing with their back to him, standing still as a Pirate had a gun pointed at them.

Lucas smiled and walked over to his comrades. He wrapped his arms around their necks and looked at the pirate "My, my, my. You Pirates sure are a feisty bunch. You caught us, just couldn't help ourselves from joining in the fun." Venom released the two and slowly walked towards the Pirate, not paying any attention to the gun. He smiled at her, using one of his most charming smiles he could muster "Course, as thieves we just can't help ourselves when we see something we like." Venom looked the Pirate up and down not so subtly, pausing on her more feminine qualities.

@Pumpkakun

Venom's eyes shot into the sky when he saw the flare shoot into the sky. He sighed and looked back to the Pirate
"Well, duty calls." With another smile he called out to his comrades and the trio darted past the Ninja and the Pirates heading for the building they had been thrown from before. Venom's claws stretched out before him and he lept at the building, landing a good 10 feet up he began to claw his way up the side of the building with ease until they reached the top. Viper and Widow were close behind Venom as they ran quietly until Widow spoke up "Your a reckless idiot, you know that right. That Pirate could have shot you point blank. Then BLAM, no more Venom." Venom chuckled at her words "Oh mon petite cherri, Vivre sans regrets." Widow simply scoffed and continued to follow him, she did not care for his french words.

As the trio finally arrived at the location of the flare they observed a lone figure standing holding the flare. Viper and Widow looked to Venom, who was fixated on the man. He had never seen him before but if he had a flare he must be with the academy, or worse, the council itself. But he could feel, just as he knew Widow and Viper could as well, the massive amount of energy that was heading their way. He sighed and was about to jump down to meet the man when he heard the sound of a high powered rifle. It seemed that the flare had been seen by just about every faction in the area. Venom motioned for the other two to head down and he followed behind. Slowly the trio walked up to the man as Venom produced another of his deceptively coy smiles
"Well now, interesting to see someone firing off flares so late in the game when the Hirudo's are already here."

Vienna bombarded the group of large Hirudo with solidified shadows in the shape of knives, coming from all directions whilst her comrades moved into melee range, dissipating one after the other. Once the Hirudo where no more, one of the boys, slinging his Scythe behind his back and taking out a cigarette and a lighter, spoke with a slight muffle as he put the cigarette in his mouth. "Don't know where these Hirudo came from, but I'm sure glad for the change of pace. Haven't had a fight like that in a while." Just then, a crackling noise in the distance was heard, and Vienna looked up in that direction to see an orange flare, the light reflecting in her eyes barely visible underneath her black hood. A danger singal? Every hunter within miles has to know about this outbreak already, so why... oh god... we're dealing with more than Peons now, aren't we? Vienna then spoke up, a dark tone to her voice, turning to the guy who was smoking. "Well, if you've been wanting to fight that badly, it's your lucky day... we aren't even close to done here. Stay alert, everyone."

A few minutes later, a blue flare went up, which caught Vienna's eye. The situation must be dire indeed if a Hunter's Call went out. "You all know what that means," Vienna deadpanned, raising her voice slightly and assuming a commanding tone so her comrades could all hear, before shadow jumping in that direction without a moment's hesitation. The other shadows heading towards the flare just as quickly, silently jumping from shadow to shadow, fanning out into thier own directions, dispatching a few Hirudo on the way. All eight present Shadow Hunters arrived where the flare was sent out, and Vienna's eyes widened when she saw who had sent it. He's... from the council, isn't he? If they're out in the thick of this... Her thoughts were confirmed before she even finished them, a sickeningly powerful aura of soul essence was nearing them. Wordlessly, she stepped closer to the important-looking man with her comrades, readying her weapon as the others did so, spreading out and staying alert. Other hunters began to arrive, some she recognized. Vienna took a deep breath and focused on sensing the powerful aura approaching her location. One of the other shadows sent a whisper to her, a stoic, masculine voice. "We're all in position, Whisper." "Understood," she replied, sending her voice to all eight of her comrades positioned in the surrounding shadows. "On my signal."

Danielle put her gun down after hearing the Theifs response. "I like you" she said with a smile. She noticed him look at her and realized he was checking her out. She crossed her arms and gave him an un-amused look as they left. "Well duty call's" she said mockingly. "I'm a damn Hunter too, that Thief annoys me now." She looks up to the sky staring at the blue flare. Well now they show up? Something fishy is going on Danielle turns back to the ninjas and scouts. "Well there's our cue. I'm going on ahead, that titan of a Hirudo is gonna rear its head soon and I want to be with higher ranked people when it does." Danielle then turns to her crew-mates. "Since you swabs failed to get your crap in order I'll give you a second chance. Go find the others and let's get Big Bertha ready just in case. I'm not one to doubt the power of the Hunters but I'm itching for some fun." She gave them a quick threat and they ran off.

Turning back to the Ninja and Scouts she stretched with her hands above her head and puffed her chest out. "Well I guess I'll take my leave now." She then did a small curtsy "It was a pleasure making y'all acquaintance." she then turned around and ran off into the direction of the flare. Who knew that the other factions could fine me so attractive. Nice to know they all aren't so easily blinded by hatred, but then again my beauty could pierce through the thickest of emotions Danielle thought giddily. Her face then became serious as she grew closer to the rendezvous point. But seriously, what was with the sudden bloom in Hirudo? There wernt suppose to be as many, and we sure as hell shouldn't have needed to help. These guys are either testing us or they need to get their shit together, one way or another I will despise their excuse.

Danielle pulled out her twin pistols and fire them into a tree killing a Hirudo that was hiding in it. She spotted several more and got the jump on them. She elegantly hopped over them shooting them in the head as she flew threw the air and landing with a tumble. She reached the meet up place and saw a man killing Hirudo left and right. Danielle shot some more bullets killing a couple more Hirudo as she drew closer to the man. "Well nice day today don't you think?" she said sarcastically as she shot a special bullet. When it hit the Hirudo it exploded and scared off other nearby. "You mind tellin me what the hell is with the Hirudo's and why I have to be working on my day off?" She pulled out her second pistol and got ready for anymore Hirudo inbound. I think there are other high ranked Hunters are nearby. This ones got an earpiece so they all must be all over. Danielle's eyes widen as she felt the Terastios's soul essence come closer. Her legs buckled a bit but the straightened herself out. "A frickin Terastios? What are you guys doing here?' she asked annoyed.

[border]Kehinde Akachi
Location: Council City Park

[/border]

Kehinde helped himself up onto the Pirate's shoulder. He was starting to feel the effects of this soul essence. This was unbelievable that this was going on at a time like this. As he was coming to he was hearing the pirate go on and on. He, of course, rolled his eyes because he didn't care to listen to it any of it. If matters didn't get any worse more of her faction showed up. "Really?" He thought to himself. He watched as they went back and forth with each other. He was about to interject but was silenced when some of the ninjas came up. "So this is how I go out huh? I punched my faction mate, A pirate is holding me up, annnnnd now the ninja are here. Great, I'm gonna die." He shook his head. Just by listening he found out her name was Danielle. He was standing among some of the top graduates. The best the council has seen since the current K.O.R. So he has heard.

It looked like they were about to get a move on when another faction showed up. It was the thieves faction. "Oh great, I just need to keep quiet and quit wishing for more things to happen. Where in the hell are my faction mates?" He asked himself while looking at the odds that stand before him. Kehinde decided to get up off the Pirate's shoulder when he was starting to feel better. He was still affected by the soul essence but not as bad as before. He was about to introduce himself to everyone because he thought it was best because it would have been rude to just leave them hanging. He would like to know the names of those he would have to kill in the event something went down with them. That idea was postponed when an orange flare went off in the sky. Kehinde shot his focus over to it causing a sinking feeling to emerge. "That's no good. A danger signal? Could it be from the council?" He questioned himself, looking at Ferdinand. Ferdinand nodded as if he knew exactly what Kehinde was thinking. Shortly thereafter, a blue flare went up. From the looks of it, it was coming from Council City park. Kehinde then watched as both the Thief and the Pirate faction head over. The pirate was even nice enough to say bye. If Kehinde didn't have someone he was talking to back home, he would definitely try her. Kehinde shook his head to regain his focus. He looked back at the Ninjas, "Name's Kehinde. I know you saw the signal. So you guys stay safe out. No need to get killed before we get the chance to." He chuckled, giving a wink. He was kidding but kept it professional. Kehinde looked over at Ferdinand and Ferdinand looked at him, "Well, we going or what?" He questioned. "Yeah let's go," Kehinde answered, vanishing off to the building top.

They made their way to the blue flare handling their share of Hirudo that were hiding off. Although they were hiding they didn't hesitate to try to kill them. Ahead of them stood Selina and Emanuel waiting on them. "You guys alright?!" Kehinde called out to them as he approached. "Yeah we're fine our earpieces shattered, though." Selina responded. Kehinde and Ferdinand landed on the building meeting up with the other two. She looked them up and down, "What kept you two?" She asked. Kehinde raised his eyebrow slightly, "Long story. I'll explain back at the hotel." He smiled. Selina shrugged, "Fine with me, Let's go." She replied. The group then jumped down running in an arrow formation. They did this to ward off anything that stood in their way. As they were getting closer to the signal, a nasty rifle shot went off killing a hirudo just above them. Kehinde paused looking around to see where it came from, but without luck he failed. So they continued on.

Upon arriving at the location of the flare, the group was met with a number of people there. From the looks of it, about almost all the factions were there. Surprisingly none of them was trying to kill each other. Kehinde leaned over to Selina and whispered, "Guess everyone saw the signal." Selina leaned back, "No duh sherlock. It was an all faction signal." The group then began pushing through trying to get a better view. To their surprise, it was, in fact, a council member standing in the middle. Selina froze slapping Kehinde on the shoulder, "This is bad bro. That's Harbinger number two. If he's here things must be dire." She whispered nervously. "Calm your panties. We don't even know what's going on yet." He replied with ease. In all seriousness, Selina had a crush on the guy. Right then another roar resonated in the air sending a chill down Kehinde's spine. Selina looked him dead in the eyes, "Believe me now?" She added. Kehinde stood there looking around at the other factions.[/border]

Seeing everyone gathering around the blue flare and that the Hirudo were dwindling for now, Leandra stood up from her sniper position and compressed the sniper into its pistol form before she began transversing across the rooftops. Within a minute or two, Leandra was standing on the rooftop with the rest of the factions, though she said nothing and made no move to get any closer to the group than to be at the very edge of it. Warily eyeing the Thieves, Leandra did a quick check of her gear to make sure nothing had been swiped. Once satisfied, Leandra pulled out one of her flasks and took a swig, beginning to finally feel a bit of a buzz. Putting her flask away, Leandra then shifted her gaze to the male with the blue flare, who was clearly in charge. After a moment or two, Leandra finally recognized the man for being the second Harbringer. He was definitely someone important. Hearing the resonating roar not too far off from their current location, Leandra's hand instinctively went to her pistol holster, where her pistol was nestled comfortably at the moment, ready to be fired within seconds if necessary.

"Kou what do you see?" Miria asked. Kou reported "Most of the peon Hirudos have either fled or are in hiding. As for the other things all I see is a mass of soul essence the size of a giant building. I think it may be a Terastios .I wouldn't want to face this thing without some serious back up. Worst case scenario if we had rto we'd through Sora at it." Sora turned around and said "Very funny, I am not sure if even all the number 1 graduates together could be this thing. But I am open to try it." Kou replied "Don't get any ideas here. I know you can do some crazy crap when you get ideas." Sora put up his hands in a gesture that he had been caught red handed thinking up a crazy scheme. He shed the rest of his dermal armor nodding the Pirate but not paying much attention to what she said.

Then a flare signal calling all hunters within range went up. Shu said "Teams 1 and 2 are already enroute to the flare location." Miria nodded and ordered "Then let's get a move on." The ninjas then took of in their standard diamond formation but with Sora in the front. They alternated between Free Movement and Kinsi to arrive at the rooftop the flare was fired from. It appeared one of the Knights of the Round Table had fired the flare. Sora thought to himself, damn if he is here than the situation has taken a turn for the worse. But maybe that means some major ass kicking is about to handed out to this Terastios. He snapped out of his thoughts as the other ninjas arrived. Kou had taken up a postion on the edge towards the direction he sensed the large soul essence from.

The Harbingers

*Press Play* As the last graduate walked up to the meeting circle, the flare died out. Sebastion looked up then looked around. He raised his eyebrows as if he were shocked to see them. He placed his hand to his ear, "The graduates are here." He commented. Margie cut in, "845 yards." Sebastion nodded and returned his focus back to the graduates. Unfortunately for him, He was underdressed. He forgot his rank badge, his Harbinger uniform, and his knights ring. To anyone, he would look like an average Joe. This would be put to rest when an Hirudo decided to rear its ugly head. It was a pretty good sized one with a looked that was no joke. Sebastion shot his eyes over to his locking eyes with it. The Hirudo began charging for the group. Sebastion slid his left foot, placing it into position. This seemed to make the Hirudo even madder as it raised its soul essence. Sebastion raised his own as well to show he meant business.

The Hirudo was was quickly closing in. Sebastion had to remind himself that the graduates were there. This was still a peon Hirudo but judging by its soul essence it was a leader of some sort. Off in the distance, the Terastios roared again this time closer and with more power. Sebastion still fixated on the incoming Hirudo, placed his hand on his ear, "How far is he now. I just heard him roar." Margie quickly fired a response, "832 yards, You ok?" She asked. "I'm good one of the leader Hirudo decided to show." He replied. You could hear Margie sigh in the earpiece, "Be careful. Protect the graduates. I got you covered on the whereabouts of the terastios." Sebastion smiled, "Oh don't worry this won't take long," He replied vanishing from the view of the group. He caught the Hirudo off guard as it slowed it charge. Sebastion reappeared in front of the graduates. He moved so fast that the human mind couldn't keep up. His soul essence began to saturate the air around him. He tried not to put off too much because he didn't want to harm the graduates. The Hirudo restarted it charge. "You can't pass. Your time stops here." He declared with confidence.

A soft breeze blew ruffling his attire. When that happened, the roman numeral "II" briefly showed on the left side of his neck. The Hirudo seemed to laugh at him and disappear in thin air. This didn't take Sebastion by surprise at all. Sebastion closed his eyes and started to feel the vibrations in the air. He shot his eyes open, "Gotcha," He uttered, pointing out two fingers about 90 degrees to the right. Following that Sebastion planted his feet in the dirt to keep balance. He fixed his eyes on the seemingly invisible entity. "Say your prayers Hirudo.." He spoke adjusting his fingers. Not a moment after he took a deep breath, "Chreosi Iota......O Chiros!" As soon as he said that a quick like beam emitted from his fingers growing bigger the farther it went out. A surge in soul essence briefly ensued. The beam slowly began to die out revealing a burned and dissipating Hirudo. Sebastion brought his smoking finger to his lips and blew, extinguishing the smoke. He turned back to the group with a cheezy smile, "Anyway pardon my manners," He commented with an underlying french accent. "Might as well inform you of who I am." He gestured. "I am Harbinger Sebastion Dampierre. Second Knight of the Roundtable. Please to meet your acquaintances." He smiled as if he didn't just blow away a Hirudo. "I know some of you have questions A certain pretty pirate made sure she asked." He winked hoping she'd see. He went on for a few moments when a bright twinkle flashed in the sky, Margie screamed in the earpiece, "WATCH OUT SEBASTION AN OVIDA IS COMING!" He was so tied up he didn't even see it coming.

The incoming Ovida from the Terastios forced a hole through the clouds. It was honing in on the soul essence in that area. The pinkish black ball raged through the sky kicking up water it was going so fast. A graduate yelled, "LOOK!" He pointed. Sebastion as if in slow motion turned to see the Ovida coming, but by the time he looked it was their doorstep. He used Kinsi to get in the way. All of a sudden from a distance, a prepubescent voice uttered the words "Konservi Theta.......aspída kathréfti̱." Following that a transparent wall resurrected in the knick of time. The Ovida slammed right into it, causing it to crack a bit before fizzing out. Sebastion eyes were wide his breathing rapidly. Materializing out of thin air was a little boy named Ralph talking, "And that's why I should be Harbinger number two." Ralph was wearing his armored button down with his Harbinger badge on his right arm. On his right wrist showed roman numeral IV. The wall collapsed and he shot a look over to Sebastion, "Way to go. Get the graduates killed before they even get to enjoy the fruits of their labor." He affirmed, stepping forward to a shocked crowd.

Vienna flinched as the Hirudo appeared, drawing her weapon by reflex, looking around to see where her teammates are. These behaviors were ingrained into every Shadow during training. Being alert and ready to fight at all times, and never letting your guard down for any reason, in any situation, being ready for everything; that's what Shadows prided themselves on most, especially Vienna. It seemed as though Mr. councilman had it covered, but Vienna still watched the HIrudo's every action as best she could, just in case. She also took this opportunity to see a Harbinger in action, perhaps learn from him that way. Vienna admitted, his prowess was impressive.... Her face was too shadowed by her hood to show the slight sparkle of wonder in her eyes, however. Vienna's comrades, crouched in the shadows, were similarly poised and alert, weapons drawn.

Once the Hirudo was vanquished, Vienna lowered her scythe, still gripping it firmly just in case. She silently watched as Sebastian introduced himself, face still neutral under her cloak. She stepped forward to speak after sebastian welcomed questions, rolling her eyes at the extremely unsubtle flirting gesture he made towards that pirate girl. Assuming no one spoke right away, she asked her own question. "Just one... don't we have a Terastios to fight? I'm sure our curiosities could be satisfied later." Her allies, hiding in the shadows, seemed to be paying no attention to the councilmen and instead focusing thier gazes in the direction of the quickly approaching mass of soul essence. Suddenly, the Ovida crashed down upon Sebastion, and the ensuing events left even Vienna stunned.regaining her composure slightly after the apparently very powerful young boy appeared, Vienna remained alert and readied herself for incoming trouble.

Danielle kept an unimpressed look as the man killed hirudo around them. Meh, he ain't too shabby. She kept her pistols ready as she knew the Hirudo are just hiding. Danielle's un-amused stature soon changed as a leader Hirudo showed up. Wow that one must be powerful, it's bigger than most others Danielle thought but she then leaned forward a bit as the man and the Hirudo started measuring each other up. He's a harbinger? He looks rather bland for one, he must've forgot his uniform then. Danielle looked at the harbinger and her eyes widen a bit. I bet he's holdin back too! My god he is powerful. Danielle straightened up as the man finished off the hirudo, She crossed her arms as the man winked at her, and rolled her eyes. Now it's just getting annoying, I know I'm the prettiest of them all but I'm sure there are satisfactory girls out here that could get their attention too. "Just hurry up and answer my questions" Danielle demanded impatiently but she was startled as an Ovido was sent towards them. That things is huge! I hope I can avoid the impact, the shock wave won't bother me so I just gotta- her thoughts were interrupted when a little boy appeared and stopped the ovido. Another harbinger? What's going on? The situation must be dire if 2 are needed. Danielle stepped towards the two harbingers with a stern look. "Well you guys please explain what's going on? Why is there a Terastios here trying to kill us?" she asked on the border of yelling.

Venom watched with mild amusement as the Harbinger and the Hirudo squared off. This one was bigger than the others they had come across and those made it a more impressive target.Venom could feel his blood begin to boil with wanting to jump after the Hirudo. It was simply screaming for him to charge and sink his claws into the creature.

But the Harbinger made his moves, and the creature was vaporized just like the others. Venom felt himself begin to calm back down and continued to smile his devilish smile at the Harbinger. But when the Ovido hurtled towards the Harbinger, Venom simply watched and smiled as the Ovido made its move to kill the Harbinger. When the shield went up to protect him, Venom shifted on his feet with his hands in his pockets. The Ovido had been impressive to be sure, but surprises like usually didn't shock him to much. He couldn't help but think back to a movie quote and uttered the quote under his breathe "There's always a bigger fish.."

Venom smiled and brought his hands up and began clapping. He directed it at the two Harbingers with glances and smiles. "Bon spectacle messieurs! Now if one of you kind sir's would tell us all just what the hell is going on, I'm sure it would put a lot of minds at rest just before we are all eaten by the Terastios heading our way." Widow shot Venom a look that suggested he tread lightly, but Venom always made it a point to never pay attention to Widow or her looks.

The Harbingers

Sebastion took a moment to gather himself after staring death in the face. He turned around an adjusted his coat. He slowly turned his head over to Ralph, "Well it doesn't matter," he spoke. "Matter of fact you couldn't handle being in my position." Ralph balded his fist so right his knuckles turned white. He knew Sebastion stole it from him. At least in his mind he did.

Sebastion heard one of the female shadows ask him a question. He looked in her direction with a smile, "Vienna isn't it?" He ran his hand through his hair, "To answer your question, we don't have to fight any thing. You as the graduate do." He winked pulling off a sly smile, "But," He looked her up and down, "I can....." He was interrupted by a sharp pain to the back of his head, "Save it Letch. She isn't interested." Ralph barked, retracting his foot. Sebastion squinted, "Ouch!" He rubbed his head, "You brat." He angrily clapped back. "Want to put yourself in my shoes?" He looked over at the Pirate graduate, "You asked what was going? Why a Terastios is trying to kill?" He then pointed over to Ralph, "This kid will be able to answer that one for you." He folded his arms, "You're on, number 4."

A dumbfounded look fell upon Ralph's face when he heard Sebastion put him on blast. He then looked up at the crowd and saw all eyes were on him. He began to feel queasy his mouth becoming dry. "Come on Ralph, you gonna tell them what they want to hear?" Sebastion taunted. "Shut up!" Ralph clapped back. He placed his hands on his pockets and began twirling his feet on the ground. "W.....well...y...you see..." Ralph tried. Sebastion began snickering, "You see kid you'll never be as good as I am." He stepped forward in front of Ralph, he looked over his shoulder, "I am the second knight for a reason and don't you forget that." Sebastion then gestured, "You guys are in this mess bec...." He was interrupted by a rush of wind. This rush came from Ralph as he materialized next to the the Thief they call Venom. "You're incorrect Sebastion. Remember I'm the fourth knight and I'm only ten. I hope you haven't forgotten that." He smiled, looking at Venom. "You sir think we're putting on a show?" He spoke making airplane sounds with one of Venom's daggers. "This the life of a hunter. There is no performance in this line of work." He added wiping the smile off his face. "Yes we do owe you all an explanation for this. Sebastion you look like you seen a ghost." He winked. Sebastion face was growing with irritation. "This day was supposed to be your graduation test. You kill a few Hirudos utilize what you learn and go home. Remember this was told to you on your very first day." He continued, returning the dagger back to Venom. He started walking through the crowd back to the front. "Unfortunately, things kind of gotten out of hand because of me. I accidentally dropped a jar of Rudai." He finished. "Good news though, you guys get to handle your first Terastios. With our help of course. This is the real test for the top graduates."

He swung his backpack around, opened it, and pulled out 7 earpieces. "Here." He held his hands out. "Were gonna walk you through this." As soon as he said that Margie radioed, "He stopped you guys stay alert." Gaia responded, "I've almost got everyone out of the city. We need to get the barrier up like as soon as I'm done." A shadow of the Terastios could be seen through the clouds no doubt he was a good sized Hirudo. His soul essence by itself was suffocating. Again, he let out a a gut-wrenching roar, this time causing the winds to kick up. "He's preparing another Ovida!" Gaia yelled. Ralph looked over to Sebastion and Sebastion nodded turning his back to the graduates. He begun saying an incantation.

Sora and the ninjas watched as the Knight of 2 took down a hirudo with flawless technique. Sora kind of wondered if the Knight of 2 came from the Ninja, Sora dis here that Kinsi along with Free Movement produces an even faster movement technique or maybe the Knight of 2 was just such a good practioner of Kinsi. The Ninja didn't need to draw their weapons before hand as the shadows did as they were already prepared and on alert. When the ovida came through the clouds the ninja were all ready to use Escape Artist to avoid it but didn't have to because the Knight of 4 stopped it. The Ninjas listened quietly not bothering to do as the others redundantly did which was ask about the situation, they knew the knights would explain everything. After the Knight's concluded their field briefing Sora stepped forward and took one of the earpieces.

Sora placed it in his ear and nodded to his fellow ninja. "Well we have a terastios to kill, not how I imagined this day going but it could have been worse." He looked around at the graduates who will he backing him up. I have never done something like this in training, I have never worked with someone from another faction in training. Well we have the Harbingers backing us up, so worst case 3 of us wind up dead and I won't be one of them.

Vienna let out an annoyed sigh, simply standing there, tapping her foot, until the two Harbingers, who were supposed to be setting an example it might be noted, were finished with thier petty arguing. When sebastian pointed out that this was the graduate's fight, not theirs, she sighed again. "I had a feeling that was the case," she stated in an exasperated tone. As he continued his rather suggestive ramblings, looking her up and down without the least bit of subtlety, she made an annoyed "Tch" noise and rolled her eyes. I get it now, he's one of those guys who'll flirt with any woman, any chance he gets... hardly a good example. When ralph took it upon himself to kick some sense into the back of sebastian's skull, she gave the young boy a grateful nod before stepping back, continuing to let events unfold without her input. A snicker could be heard from one of the male shadows, greatly amused by the 2nd harbinger of all people losing his cool. Vienna found nothing to laugh about. He could certainly fight, but it seemed that maturity and self control doesn't earn you ranking in the Round Table.. she thought perhaps it should.

She silently listened as finally the seemingly more mature of the two, ironically given his age, began to explain the situation.... and that he dropped a Rudai. She found herself sighing at that. At the very least, they didn't knowingly unleash this menace upon the innocents just to test the hunters... still, it wasn't much comfort knowing this outbreak was coincidentally caused by a member of the council. Vienna stepped up to Ralph and took one of the earpieces, beginning to put it on when she caught a glimpse of the monster looming above them, the soul essence nearly overwhelming with it that closeby. Steeling herself, she shadow stepped out of the Ovida's range, sending a whisper to her fellow Shadows. "this is unlike anything we've fought before, but we have allies to back us up. you see an opening, you take it." Whilst saying this, Vienna herself was simultaneously preparing to leap into action when needed, curiously watching to see what kind of Konsido Sebastion was about to cast.

Kehinde stood silent as he looked around at the other graduates. He still couldn't believe they were all standing together. Kimirou was of course late, but it better late than never. After everyone seemed to be there, things looked to be starting up. Another Hirudo thought it was wise to charge at a group of trained hunters. Kehinde and his crew readied their weapons as did everyone else. This was a good sign because it seemed like they were gonna back each other up. The Harbinger whisked over and got between us and the Hirudo. Impressively, he handled the Hirudo with ease. Which is to be expected. Kehinde had a smirk on his face after seeing the Harbinger take down the beast. The reason being is because one day he wanted to sit on the Roundtable. Maybe even surpass the current ones. Being a knight not only gave you status, but it set you apart from other hunters in the league. The knights were a revered group. According to his instructor back at the academy, Only the best have gone through the Knights of the Roundtable. By the looks of it, his instructor wasn't lying. The Harbinger then went on to introduce himself. He seemed like a pretty nice guy with the exception of his whorish ways. At least Kehinde was more conservative with his.

Out the corner of Kehinde's eye was a speeding ball of energy. It appeared to be barreling toward them at insane speeds. Him and his crew were about t brace for impact when something like a wall put that thing to shame. To make matters stranger a boy materialized out of thin air. Kehinde was impressed at the work performed by both parties. He was still taken aback because of the newly arriving Harbinger was a kid. "I've heard of him. Kid is bad news," He whispered to Emanuel. "I heard he's so good that he could kill you without even touching you." He quietly replied. Other whispers from other graduates could be heard around them. Everyone apparently knows about him.

As Kehinde stood watch, He heard both of the Harbingers going back and forth. The older on being harsher with his words and the kid taking it head on. The pirate from earlier then asked a valid question. She beat Kehinde to the punch. He began feeling around for his notebook, but realized he must have left it. He used this notebook to take notes on the people he has met. Call it a scout thing but it was always good to know about those you encounter. He then shifted his attention to the Ninja from earlier and the Thief. They looked to be someone to keep his eyes on. He also saw someone from the shadow faction, but wasn't quite sure who she was. "I wonder if we are all going to kill each other." He thought. He made a mental note in the event he need the information.

Whilst Kehinde was lost in his thoughts, The Mini Harbinger began to explain this whole ordeal. He shook his head when he found out this was a training exercise and that they put all these innocent people in danger, "How reckless..." He thought to himself. Soon after the Harbinger presented the graduates with earpieces. Guess that meant things were about to get serious. If he wasn't mistaking, he was going to be working with the other top graduates. "Can all seven of us even handle this thing?" He chuckled. He leaned forward looking to see who it was he was going to be working with. "Oh boy, this ought to be interesting." He thought, walking over to grab his earpiece. He was knocked out of his thoughts when one of the Shadow graduates brushed passed him. When he realized why, he retreated back to his crew members, "This might get bad you guys. I wonder how we are gonna go about it." Kehinde placed the earpiece on and spoke, "Anybody on? Testing....testing..one..two..three.."[/border]

Danielle looked at the harbingers with disdain as he explained it was a test. Of course it's a test, but a screwed one at that. Danielle hated the fact she wasn't prepared for this because she forgot. She sighed as the little one told them they have to fight it. It couldn't have been this easy, of fricking course! She looked around and spotted her faction with big pieces of luggage wrapped in cloth. Danielle briskly approached the small harbinger, grabbing an earpiece quickly and leaving without looking at them. She despised the situation as it was unexpected, unneeded and overworked. They said the graduates only needed to kill Peon hirudo but now they have to survive a Terastios. Putting in the earpiece she looked to her crewmmates. "Stand in line!" she barked. The Pirate faction quickly assembled with their items. "Now assemble Bertha! We got's a Teratstios to sink, we're going to make that overfed piece of crap with it never reared its head!" The pirates uncovered their luggage revealing parts for a small cannon. It's good to know that they make up their incompetence with following orders. This little side project we had going on was a good idea. They quickly put the parts together like pieces of a puzzled and locks them in place. Danielle put her hand on the barrel and then turns on the earpiece. "Hello! This is the glorious Ms. Bombastic!" she said with responding back to Sora. "Is everyone ready cause I'm prepared to kill this bastard and go home." The pirates assembled around the cannon and placed a ball in. "I wonder how this guy will like the taste of his own medicine.'' Danielle goes off the earpiece as she barked commands at the pirates. "Prime the cannon! Adjust to the left. I said left you idiots! Now calibrate for wind and distance." she ordered. Danielle held her hand up signaling to hold as the smallest harbinger started saying an incantation. "Tell me when and I'll fire my own Ovido at this bugger" Danielle said turning back on her earpiece. "The first shot'll be the biggest but after that I've ordered my pirates to aim for its legs. That means everyone else can attack anywhere else." she warned.

Leandra listened to everything told to her, finding the talking to be rather boring, as it dragged on and on. Yet, suddenly an Ovido was fired at them by the Terastios and as Leandra got ready to sprint and jump across to a separate building, a wall appeared out of thin air and completely negated the Ovido from being destructive to the team. Relaxing herself, Leandra then shifted so that she could face the two Harbingers and listen to what she hoped would be a game plan from them. Listening to the pair arguing like they were children, even though one of them was a child, was beyond irritating, as they were supposed to be the professionals. Rolling her eyes in annoyance, though this was mostly hidden under her hood, Leandra then pulled out a flask and began drinking it while she waited for the two bickering professionals to move onto more important topics.

As soon as Leandra heard what all had happened, she felt a slight anger towards the child Harbinger for having wrought such destruction on this city. How many people had been injured or killed before the Hunters could make their moves? Shaking her head at such thoughts, Leandra put away her flask, as she walked up to the Harbinger with the earpieces and retrieved one for herself. Walking back to the far end of the group, Leandra then put in the earpiece and frowned, as she really didn't want to work with anyone. Yet, the moment she heard the pirate's warning, Leandra found herself already on a building across from the one everyone else was on, as she began setting up the bipod to her sniper rifle, which had been set back up. Setting her sniper rifle down on a good ledge, which was in the direction of the approaching Terastios, Leandra then hunkered down and shifted her aim up high, as she aimed to shoot into one of the Terastios' eyes. If it couldn't see, then it wouldn't be able to cause nearly as much damage, at least, not as accurately.

Venom watched as the two Harbingers went back and forth. He yawned as they bickered about ranks and failed to answer his own questions but instead just created more. IT wasn't until he felt the strange rush of the wind beside him when Venom had a look of mild surprise. The littler Harbinger seemed to have somehow disconnected on of his daggers from his wrist attachment and was currently spinning it about like a play toy.

Venom smiled, all the little brat had to do was twist the knife the wrong way one time and the poison lined on the blade would be introduced into his system. As always, Venom had coated his daggers with his own special blend of poisons of hemotoxins blended with a paralyzing agent. The victim would be paralyzed while the venom slowly ate at the flesh of the young Harbinger. He smiled just waiting for the young boy to slip up, but it seemed he was more skilled than that. As he talked and twirled the knife, Venom listened to the boy and just imagined the boy writhing in pain until he was completely paralyzed. But it seemed that his ability to handle the knife was much better than those of handling jars and he stuck the knife back towards Venom as he concluded.

Venom grabbed the knife and slowly pulled the knife from Ralph, his sneer of a smile stretched from ear to ear. As Ralph turned away he lifted his sleeve and clipped the knife back into its holster. He gave the device a flick and it protruded as normal, than once again brought it back to make sure everything was in place. Widow was the first to reach out for the earpieces, though when she turned around Venom was starring at her with an outstretched hand. She grimaced at him, knowing full well that the earpiece was not meant for her, and handed over to him with a huff. He stuck the earpiece in his head and turned away from the group. Watching the Pirates get to work, Venom was intrigued by the firepower that they assembled and watched with delight at the cannon readied thinking of how glorious the explosion would be should the cannon be put together wrong. But when the word of the next attack came, Venom looked to his team and they nodded that they were ready.

Vienna took her hood down for just a moment, looking down and away from the others so as to not show her face, and put the earpiece on. Raising the hood back over her head, she adjusted the microphone so it wouldn't be in her way, then responded as a voice she recognized as one of the scouts piped up. "I hear you... seems to be working fine on my end." She looked over and noticed the commotion as the pirates seemed to be setting some sort of cannon up. She'd heard rumors they were working on some sort of large project on the side, now that Vienna remembered. That must have been it. Vienna rolled her eyes as one of the female pirates introduced herself as 'The Glorious Ms. Bombastic,' then glanced around as the other hunters began preparing for the battle in thier own ways. Sending a whisper to her comrades to set up an ambush in the shadows, Vienna got into her own position as she looked up and saw the Terastios, looming ever closer. "This is it," Vienna whispered, sending the voice to each of her fellow Shadows. "A true test of our skill... I expect all of you to give your all, and not give in to either fear or reckless abandon. I know that is what i plan to do." With that. Vienna crouched in the nearby shadows as the Terastios loomed ever closer, looking and listening for an opportunity to strike.

"Ms. Bombastic huh?" He responded, placing his hand to his ear. He looked over into her direction revealing a contraption they had been working on. Following that he heard a voice respond to him it sounded. He placed his hand on his ear once again, "Oh I wonder who this might be?" He asked, looking around to see the source. Walking up behind him, Selina spoke, "What is that thing?" Kehinde squinted as he kept his eyes on it, "Some sort of cannon. Talk about reckless." Kehinde then took note of some of the hunters whereabouts. In case they try something, he wanted to be fully aware of them. He looked back at Ralph's hand noticing one more earpiece. He also wondered why there were only seven of them and not seventy. "They can't be serious." He thought.

When he saw the Harbinger look at him, Kehinde quickly shifted his vision elsewhere to avoid questions. The other Harbinger seemed to be saying an incantation of some sort. "I wonder why?" He asked himself. Emanuel then met up with Selina and Kehinde, "Well....well...if it isn't the show-off and his trophy wife," He declaimed rolling his eyes. Kehinde smiled and placed his hand on Emanuel's shoulder, "Jealous are we?" he chuckled, "Come on, jealousy is on of the ugliest trait." Emanuel shifted his shoulder causing Kehinde's hand to slide off, "Save it." He muttered. Selina seeing the tension stepped between the two boys hoping to de-escalate the situation, "Now you guys cool it. We have a Terastios to finish off. Did you get the map to the city's electrical grid?" She asked turning to Emanuel. He nodded pulling out his Ipad pulling up the interface. Giving Kehinde a look he began to explain, "If you look over," He pointed, "You can see the Terastios is surrounded by the city's power lines and such." He then took two fingers and spread them apart on the screen, "If we can get him to stay there we might be able to give him a nice shock." Kehinde started to smile because he knew Emanuel had quite a good head on his shoulders. That's why his team within the faction did pretty good. They were well rounded. "Well, ok then we need to get into position to put this plan into motion." Kehinde offered.

He look around the area once again and then placed his hand back toward his ear, "Well you guys seemed to be ready to handle some business," He spoke looking around, "If it helps anything, This Terastios seems fires an Ovida once every 5 minutes. I could be wrong." Selina punched Kehinde on the shoulder, "What the hell are you sharing that for? They aren't your teammates." She scolded. Kehinde brought his hand up to rub his shoulder. He saw that she was serious about what she said. He took a deep breath and remarked, "They may not be my teammates but I rather them be dead on someone else's hand not my own. I rather tell them info that could save them rather than not say anything and they get killed." He retorted. Selina nodded as if she agreed, but in reality she didn't. She was still stuck on the whole thing about not working with other factions. They waited for a few moments for Ferdinand then the four vanished off to their location in a tree just a few yards north of Council Park. "Stay alert and wait for a signal from the harbingers." She remarked.[/border]

Putting her hand on the cannon she out her hand to the earpiece Danielle turned it back on. "Alright, that's enough time to get ready. If you ain't ready you better drag ass cause I'm firing the first shot!" She turns to her crew and shouts "Fire!" The cannon launched a ball towards the Terastios. Daniele kept her eyes on the cannon ball as it flew towards the Terastios. Right as the cannon ball hit she snapped her fingers. The ball itself only hurt the Terastios a bit but then. Second explosion occurred, much more powerful than the first due to Danielle's explosive combat. "Take out it's legs!" She commanded as her Pirates reloaded. Danielle then sighed as she prepared to take off. She put some distance between her and the group and touched the ground. A small yellow circle appears where she touched and Danielle braced herself. She snapped her fingers and the ground exploded beneath her sending her towards the Terastios. Loading actual bullets into her gun as she flew through the air. She fired the bullets and they exploded when they came in contact with the Terastios doing some damage but not a lot. Danielle landed on the Terastios foot and began to climb up it. "If y'all gonna hurt this thing, try to not to kill me too. It'd be a shame for such beauty and prowess to leave the world so soon," Danielle began to climb up the leg as her Pirates started to prime the cannon again. "Feel free to use my cannon too. My crew mates won't mind and if they say otherwise you can knock em unconscious."

(Sorry for inactivity. I was busy Friday and now today I was having internet problems.)

Terastios V

"Konservi Theta: aspída kathréfti̱," Sebastion exclaimed, finishing the incantation. *Press Play* A transparent wall shot up shielding the other graduates. Ralph vanished and stood in mid air. He looked over at the Terastios sizing him up. Looking down to Sebastion he commented, "Looks like it's now or never." Sebastion looked back up at him, "Right. We nee to get the barrier up at once!" Ralph nodded and placed his hand on his ear, "Margie, Gaia...meet me here." He commented with fervor. He then looked around to see the graduates and continued. His voice went from a silly kid to a more serious hunter, "Listen up! We don't need to waste time trying to figure out how to kill this thing. This is the signal. Utilize your resources and personalize strategy. We'll have you covered from the back while you guys handle the Terastios." Ralph signaled back to Sebastion confirming the plan.

All the Harbingers were caught off guard by a large boom. Ralph quickly shot his head over to where it came from. The sheer boom of him caused him to lose his footing forcing him out of the sky. "It was the Pirates. They used a cannon." Sebastion smiled. "Impressive to say the least." Ralph responded. He then watched as one of them made a dash for the Hirudo. She was pretty fast for a Pirate. Fast enough to place a smile on Ralph's face. He placed his hand on his ear once again, "Alright I'll give you that. Everyone else, move out!" She then vanished from his view. Margie and Gaia showed up confirming the plan. "Ok, you know how this technique goes." Margie explained, "We need to all say it at the same time." She finished. Sebastion stood there holding the sheild in place, "You guys go on ahead. I gotcha covered down here." He added. Every nodded and vanished into thin air Margie radioed to the graduates, "Ok were about to create a barrier to better handle this situation. Keep this thing at bay until we complete the technique." With that, they got into position and begun preparations for the technique.

The Terastios took the explosion gracefully as it wasn't expecting the cannon to reach thus far. The Terastios looked over toward the group of people gathered in front of him. He let out a nasty laugh as if he found it funny. Next thing he knew he had sustained some damage from the blasted explosion. He looked over from where it came from and prepared an Ovida. Lasers shot from its eyes preparing a ball of energy in the middle. When it was ample enough size he reared his neck back and fired it. The Ovida went barreling toward the location of the cannon. For support he let out an ear rupturing roar in hopes of throwing off any possible counters. This roar was so vulgar it shattered windows that were in close range of it.
